3rd takeaway we've tried in the area and best in terms of taste. A little on the oily side though. Chicken and sweet corn soup is more on the sweet than savoury side. We ordered the starter platter for 2 and a few other things. We also got some unexpected sausage. The wings and bbq ribs were amazing! The black bean sauce is also delicious!

Update: Still our go-to Chinese after a couple of years living here! Absolute gem hidden away in Bettystown. Some of the highest quality, tastiest food I've eaten. My wife and I got the Dinner B for 2 set meal, and it is a LOT of food. All of it was so tasty, we were sampling everything, and it's better value than ordering individual dishes. We've tried other Chinese restaurants in the area (Drogheda to Laytown) and this is hands down the best. We're so full right now but already thinking about what we want next time.

Recently moved to the area, and was looking for a Chinese to try. Have to say I was very impressed, food was scalding hot and fresh and of a great standard. Ive had lots of bad chinese's over the years and this certainly isnt one of them. I had a great experiance! If I was to say one point- the outside of the building isnt very inviting/not the best looking. And it did stop me trying you sooner. We shouldnt judge a book by its cover evidently as I was very pleased- but just some feedback for the future Tough time for businesses right now and we need to #supportlocal- no need to make these exterior changes now Chans- focus on surviving in the tough business climate- but just something to be aware for when things get back to normal Good Luck!

Myself and my fiancée had a wonderful meal here last night. We went for the 4 course €21.50 offer. The restaurant from the outside sometimes doesn't look like it's open but it is. Inside there's a classy feel to the place. Staff are very attentive and helpful. The food is unreal, we've had take away several times from here and always been good but decided we'd try the sit in experience this time. We both had cheesy chicken rolls to start. Highly recommend! Delicious! We were brave and had a main we've never had before. I went for the chicken and orange sauce with fried rice and she went for chicken udon. Both portions were big enough to fill us comfortable but we were able to finish the plates, I hate wasting food, perfect sized and they were ssooo tasty! We both went for vanilla ice cream to finish (its a one scoop affair), she got coffee (I'm not a coffee drinker but oh my god hers smelled so good and I went for a tea. For the price of the offer I was happy with the one scoop of ice cream I didn't have room for anything else and the tea and coffee inclded was the cherry on top most places would be charging extra for that. Bear in mind I believe its €21.50 Friday and Saturday night and less during the week but take this with a grain of salt if your reading in a years time. Offers change! 10/10 will be eating here again.

Dine-In The dining in experience is good, notuch to really say about it, hasn't changed much in the past few years and would rate it 4 stars. Collection When ordering by phone for collection, the service is appalling. Everytime I order from here they say 20 minutes until it's ready. The past few times I have ordered from here, they say 20 minutes, but it's been well over an hour. Delivery I do not use delivery service and cannot comment. Food: The food has been slowly becoming less cared about. In some circumstances, the food is overspiced, or incorrect toppings put on the food. My most recent order has the following problems Boiled Rice (I received fried rice) Curry w/ no onions (I got onions) Shredded chicken box (Chicken-Chips ratio has become very unbalanced, way too overspiced) I hope this can work on the following issues and then my custom will return to Chans restaurant.

We got a take away and we're wondering why after spending only over €40 we only got 1 small bag of prawn crackers. Seemly over €20 you get 1 bag of prawn crackers but not 2 bags for over €40. So the more you spend the less value it is. Which was very disappointing. Food was decent and service was good.
