M. M.Because of Covid-19 there is only take out at the moment, there's no sit in. The choice of menu is also limited at the moment. My family and I usually get drive through. At the order kiosk it can be hit and miss with who you talk to with their politeness or manners. It's a fast food chain restaurant so it's convenient.
L. A.I'm not a big fan of McDonald's but this one was a good surprise, the best I have visited so far. The first place where the sandwich looks like the version we see in ads.

J. M.Lovely place for food. The renovation has made it a very nice place to be. However, the last time I was there I ordered sweet & sour sauce and did not receive it. I stood at the counter for 15 mins waiting for a member of staff to speak to me, but they all just ignored me. Don’t waste your money on the “twisty fries” - they fill about 3/4 of the box with regular fries and then the rest with the twisty fries. That does not happen anywhere else in Ireland. Also, how does the ice-cream machine never work for milkshakes, but works for mcflurrys?
J. W.Very slow, and we didn't get a number for your order or how much it cost. Only found that out when we got to the cash station.
A lad who works for McDonald's, controlling traffic out on the main road. which has absolutely nothing to do with him or McDonald's.he tried to have me drive around the town threw peek traffic, all to see if I could get in line for the drive thru again. 🙄🙄🙄 even tho there was space for cars, 5 seconds after he tried to move me on.

S. C.Good service and very polite but they often forget the basics like salt ketchup and straws. Especially if you order off just eat or use the drive through make sure you request them as they might not be in the bag when your ready to eat

H.Its McDonald's so nothing more to say. Though they keep messing up orders. I asked for double sausage and egg muffin and paid for double but got regular one. This has happened before and its just pain to notice it when you are almost home.

B. M.My 10 year-old grandson, Edward, asked me to get him his lunch in McDonald's, Drogheda. My first time there - he is a seasoned customer. He got a happy meal with extra hamburger + Ribena. He spoke up at the counter & said "Granny will have regular tea". We sat down at a table overlooking the river & in a short time we were served with our food by a very pleasant waitress who asked me if I was ok with tea only. I assured her I was, but having tasted my grandson's food I was very tempted to ask for a happy meal. A lovely mechanical toy came with the meal & was immediately earmarked for a younger friend. Good quality toy.
McDonald's was full of diners. There was a lovely atmosphere with a mixture of young families & young people. Relaxed atmosphere & service. Very welcoming staff.
We will certainly go back again!!

N. S.Visited this McDonald at lunch time last Sunday 16th of Feb 2020. Congrats to the whole team. Super impressed by the level of service, cleanliness and kindness at this McDonalds. It's by far the best McDonalds I visited in the whole world. The Staff made great impressions they are very attentive to details. The cleaning lady even offered to go get a straw and cup lid for my daughter's milkshake even if she may not be paid to do this. The Food is McDonald's food so very standardised everywhere but trust me some people knows very well how to mess up your order even if it's standardised. Food was tasty and ''freshly made'' This McDonalds is outstanding on every level. Service is fast and yes they bring your order to your table if they can afford to do so. Amazing job everyone. I hope they get to see this review. Thank you
G. M. C.The staff here can't do enough for you and do a fantastic job. I have no problem with them, but the toilets are very small. The staff clean them very well, but they are very cramped, and only two for the females. The veggie burger was just ok. Two small 'nugget type' pieces are used, instead of a proper veggie burger. I adore the milk shakes, and the fries.

The access is very poor, and one needs to come from the city, through the petrol station, in order to come in. Perhaps a roundabout along the way would be a solution?

First landmark visitors see and positioned facing old town walls- it would be nice if it reflected the historic town better.
U. I.As McDonald's is, the place is up to standard and fast service. I would love to give them 5 stars if they have or had a drive thru. The present location causes some inconvenience if you're driving to McDonald as you have to first find a suitable parking spot.

It has a very small area for ordering and collection and gets often cramped at busy times. It should not be this way. This makes you turn to other options.
S. “. B.Lovely interior and friendly, helpful staff. In the many years I have visited this McD's I think they've only messed up my order once. There are picnic tables on the south end in case you wish to eat outdoors. On some weekend nights there may be boi racerz loitering in the car park showing off their spoilers to each other, but they're all harmless and don't prevent anyone actually entering McD's.

C. M.Simple enough to get into the site and park, as long as you notice the entrance sign before the filling station. Getting out can be trickier because drive-in traffic and car park traffic funnel into the same exit lane and the exit is into traffic which can be stationary because of adjacent traffic lights.
