Staff are all lovely especially one man who had come out the bar to get my car in a safer spot notice my dog in the car and invited her in which made my lunch even more special so a special thanks to himself. Had the muldoon signature chicken burger was lovely massive portions reasonably priced. Even got my doggie some water. If I'm ever that way again I'll be sure to stop by

Food was good, would recommend the fillet steak, staff not very friendly tonight Disappointing as have been here before & recommended to many, also the roof was leaking on top of us and our table, at first it was a small amount and looking around there didn't appear to be a table available to swap so we let it go but it got worse as the night went on, leaking onto our clothes & food,when it was brought to the attention of staff I was ignored by a waitress at first and then told by a waiter " we can't help the weather " ... I responded but you can fix the leak ... no apologies or acknowledgement .... don't sit in the middle of the room on a rainy night folks!!

Great venue, great location very friendly staff. What was a pretty big disappointment was the sizzling chicken that my partner had. Although really tasty..... It didn't sizzle. The folk on the table next door ordered sizzling beef, again it didn't sizzle and I over heard them saying this between themselves. I ordered parisian chicken with potato croquettes. The chicken was very dry, over cooked, the sauce was bland and the potato croquettes were questionable. I just hope it was an off day in the kitchen because everything else about this place was great.

Fantastic tapas. So much variety to choose from and all tasted absolutely beautiful. Great price of 3 for €30 with glasses of wine or prosecco. Staff are very friendly and polite. Great big log fire lit in the background made for a really enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back.

Chef's deserve such a big thank you....food is so good, staff are very good and with the madness going on with covid 19....its very clean. Just love the food. However one staff member was slightly unpleasant but didnt put us off and I'll definitely be back as i love the setting, food and yummy mocktails. Yummy

We asked someone on the street and he immediately recommended Brian Muldoon & Sons for dinner and a pint. We came in to a welcoming puband sat at the bar as we like to do. We got to watch their staff consistently seeking perfection. They are prompt, accurate, and cheerful. We got an appetizer, potato balls fried with a pico type dip, and it was very good. I ordered the chicken and bacon carbonara with green beans...also very good. Hubs got prawns with Thai chili sauce and garlic potatoes... again, very good. We were impressed with the way the staff here hustles and the quality and quantity of the food. We would definitely be back!

Got the breakfast in it 1 frosty morning coming home from Dublin. First time in it and was impressed with the stove which was throwing out a welcoming heat. We soon got menus and coffee. Breakfast was soon after which was great.

Busy little spot. Food was a little on the expensive side for pub grub. I had the stuffed potato skins which were quite bland and filled with vegetables and came with a side of Chips which was a little strange. The Guinness was good.

Muldoon's is located on what is effectively the main high street in Ardee. It has on street (pay) parking directly outside, and there is a moderately sized carpark directly across from it. This review is based on just one visit, however, suffice to say, I was greatly impressed. From the outside, the size is deceptive. This is a very well proportioned and laid out Bar/Restaurant/Venue. The interior decor is of a very high standard, seating is well spread out and comfortable, and for sports fans, there is a number of TV screens, including one quite large screen, located around the bar area. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and the party I was attending, were well looked after on the night. The only slight negative I found on the night, was that as the designated driver on the night, the only non-alcoholic beer available to me, was Heineken. There is a Gin bar, DJ box, and small dance floor area adjacent to the main bar, and a nightclub venue towards the back of the building. The toilets were easily accessible, and spotless on the night. I was so sufficiently impressed, that I intend to pay a visit again soon for a meal.
