Reviews of Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

The food here is amazing we had a sharing platter for starter it was delicious only thing that was left on the plate were 8 bones. For mains we had A pork burrito, Chicken Fajita, Chicken enchilada and Chili beef Flauta with a side of patatas bravas so so good . Margaritas were amazing and the staff were so friendly and efficient can't wait to go back.

This was superb experience on so many levels! Even though we had a slight confusion about the jalapeño in some of the items in the menu (some of the foods were explicitly mentioned as they contain it while some of them weren't), we cleared the confusion later and our feedback was received so well by the staff. They even went above and beyond to make us feel better about it. Food was delicious but I would like to specify the avocado sauce which was beyond amazing! Definitely, they will be visited at least few times more in the foreseeable future!

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was only ok. Little bit disappointed as the last time we were there the food was great.

Went here for some late night food. We opted for several starters rather than mains as they sounded better. Nachos and six tacos between the two of us was more than enough, the waitress suggested we get patatas bravas as we may he hungry which we did, but then we had too much. Fish taco was the best, pork was also good and they are all generous servings. Patatas bravas had a bbq sauce rather than the traditional tomato.

Nice little Mexican restaurant. Staff where welcoming and friendly and great with suggestions from the food menus. We booked a party of 2 and had to change to 4 at short notice they where great accommodating to this at short notice. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Prices are great for a restaurant in Dublin city centre. Would highly recommend and next time I'm in Dublin I will be going back.

Wow... What a surprise.
Walking around look for a bite to eat.
From when we stepped into the restaurant, we were treated to excellence.
Host was super accommodating, we did have to wait.
Very clean, great Mexican vibe.
Food was amazing, we tried the chimi cungas, enchilada's..
So tasty, spicy just right.
Best part so yummy.
Good portions.
Quality and freshly made meals
We loved it.
Thanks for the excellent service food and vibes.
Highly recommended for a great Mexican experience.

My favourite Mexican restaurant in Dublin. I recently spent 3 weeks in the Yucatan this year and while the food there is authentic and amazing, Acapulco is even better than the real thing! They cater for gluten free diets too and lots of the food is corn rather than flour based.
E. J.
Lovely for a nice casual place for food. Food was so nice and staff where external nice. The place was lovely and clean. Very enjoyable and have been here many times and will go back.
Cocktails where amazing!
Was a little chillier in the restaurant but that's just me.

Last time, I had a dinner in here with my Korean friend. They were leaving Dublin. We spent long time to check restaurant online, then we decided to go this restaurant. Food tasted good, service is not brilliant but acceptable. Anyway, we do had a good time in there.
Book it before you go would be better for you.

The food came very quickly and the service was fantastic. The nachos in particular were delicious! Would recommend.
The place also had a great vibe and loved the music.

Amazing food and delicious margaritas. Shuey and his staff are so welcoming and always make you feel so at ease. Can't wait to return this weekend for a bday celebration.
T. P.
Excellent food. Especially recommend the starter mix for 2 and the fried ice cream and a pitcher of mango Magarita. Staff very friendly. 4 stars because we booked in advance and got a tiny table in a rather dark corner. If you are a man with long legs you really have to squeeze in there. Otherwise highly recommend.
B.
Mediocre food, we were added a service charge of 10 EUR for a table of 4, even though the menu said 5 ppl or more.
The manager explained they never had a chance to update the menu. Poor tactic long term to recover from covid.
V. G.
Great place to enjoy Mexican food with good price/quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. 100% recommended.
M. G.
One of the best mexican restaurants in Dublin. Food was delicious, nicely portioned and priced. One thing to note is to call and make a reservation. We didn't have a reservation and were able to get a table if we ate and left by next hour. We thought this would be an issue but the hostess confirmed that they had quick service. Service was so quick we were able to finish our food and order dessert!
I. B.
Fantastic food and drink. Lovely staff. Highly recommended if you what to have good Mexican food.

I've been here a number of times but this is the first time reviewing.
After about 6 months I dropped in and asked for a table for two. I was asked to wait at the door for a min and he will get back to me, 15min later he comes back and says the next free table will be available in 30 min... could have said that from the start.
The following day I decided to give them another try as the food was always greet. Called the first time and no answer, second i a girl answered then hung up, third time she apologised and reserved the table. Before I got a chance to say for how many people she hung up again!
Anyway, the potato skins were cold inside and the margaritas were not nice at all.
Not sure what happened in the last 6 months but it's not the same service and food...
M.
Food is great one of the best ones I've tried. Main course portion is too big for 1 person. Service is good.
M. D.
One of the fine Mexican food out. The service was very good... friendly staffs and

The food was absolutely delicious and reasonable pricing. the atmosphere was quite enjoyable too. highly recommend the sizzlers if you like cheese!
C. E.
Unfortunately too spicy for me. Asked if they could do the chinichangas mild bit said was not possible, got an extra sourcream instead. Besides the spiciness it was good food and atmosphere.
T. D.
We ate here with a party of 8 and ordered the standard menu which is fairly priced. Food was great, friendly service. Loved the starters. Don't worry too much about spicy, we're used to getting much spicier dishes in other Mexican restaurants these all were mild enough so that our kids could also eat them. The first round of cocktails were small but decent, but a second round had less Tequila in them you could clearly taste this. The square table they tried to put us on is not very convenient for a party of 8 and we ended up moving to another table.
F. N.
Nice, little busy place..i had the nachos todo something like that with spicy beef..soo tasty..they also do great margaritas and staff is very friendly..highly recommended..
L. P.
Great service and delicious food and margaritas!!

Very nice staff and the food/drinks were good as well. Very clean place too. I would definitely go back in the future. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing gem in Dublin. The service was amazing and the food was such good value! The patatas bravas and mexican rice were particularly delicious! The little tents outside covering the table are so clever and also ensure adequate social distancing. We wanted to get dessert but the restaurant was closing and the waiter was so kind to give us a free margarita to go. The margaritas were also delicious! The service as amazing and waiters couldn’t do more for us! Highly recommend.
A. N.
The food is absolutely gorgeous and delicious and the staff is very nice and friendly. The first time today but sure I will go again
I. P.
So far the best Mexican cuisine experience in Ireland. Busy, good selection of mexican food and beers and refreshing margarita. Will come back. And also, their hot sauce is hot for real :)
b. s.
Great food, lovely environment!
F. S.
I have to try other dishes in order to give a better review. However, Margaritas are great I loved the mango 🥭 one
J. T.
Good spot for tex-mex style fare. The food was really great and wel-seasoned especially if you like your food muy piquante. I thought the margaritas were a bit over-priced for what you got, however.
K. A.
Really excellent lovely food & lovely staff
B. L.
Great food, great margaritas
M. O. B.
Amazing Mexican food. The staff are very nice and service was quick. We got a pulled pork burrito and Chilli Diablo, both were fantastic, huge portions.
J. C.
Pretty good food, cost is so-so and there isn't A LOT of menu options
L. Q.
Great food and better margheritas! Lovely place for a girls night. Just a little bit cramped, and too many mix ups of food for our vegan friend.
A. Q.
Staff were so friendly and helpful and the place had a really cool and chilled out vibe. The food was unbelievable and the margaritas 🍹 to die for.
L. R. L. R.
Perfect as always. One of our favourite restaurants in Ireland. The deep fried ice cream is outstanding.
K. B. P.
Fantastic place with great prices.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food is just great and filling.
You will not be disappointed if you eat here.
m. a.
Fried Ice cream and choclate brownie were really awesome! Tacos only average
C. H.
Great food, served quickly and from attentive servers. All around Great experience.
J. J.
Burrito was very nice, dessert a bit disappointed, chocolate cake would be much nicer if you serve it warm. And there was 3 waiters who were coming every 10min to ask, if we ok. A bit to much I think.... Nice environment
N. F.
Really good cocktails and amazing food. Vegetarians and vegans are spoilt here. Great friendly service too.
A. G.
Very nice Margaritas with flavours of strawberries, passion fruit and classic all of them they are super grand
C. O.
Superbly nice staff and food. The restaurant looks brilliant and the atmosphere was very enjoyable.
K. D.
Great place to share mexican food, and friendly customer services.
D. S.
Nice welcome, friendly service... Could have been a little more knowledgeable about the menu. Food was tasty and good portion sizes.
S. T.
Nice food and margaritas.Staff are always friendly.Suprised they werent wearing masks or face sheilds though.
i.
The best cocktails in Dublin, and the only place I know of that does crushed & chunked ice cocktails
D. D.
I have been here a number of times and love the food and drinks. A really great selection of traditional Mexican food, all delicious and specialise in margaritas which come in a variety of flavours. I love the passionfruit! We went most recently on a Tuesday evening and it was shortly after the level 5 restrictions were lifted to allow restaurants to provide sit in services again. Honestly I was a bit disappointed even though the food and drinks, as usual, were lovely and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had made a reservation for 8.30pm as one of us was working late. We arrived and the sign on the door said closed and a waiter came to ask if we had a reservation and then let us in. I assume this is because they weren't taking walk-ins? But there was only 2 other tables in use and as soon as we ordered our waiter came back to ask if we were finished ordering food because they had to close the kitchen and would be closing at 10pm. Overall I didn't have any issue with this, I understand things are different at the moment and everyone has had to adapt but we felt a bit rushed and had organised the meal as myself and a couple of friends hadn't seen each other since February. I still love this restaurant and will definitely return but I was just a bit disappointed with my most recent visit.

Delicious Mexican food and margaritas
C. T.
Being from Texas AND having visited Acapulco before I had pretty high standards when someone recommended this place. I’m on my 4th trip to Ireland now and make a point to eat here at least once every trip. Fantastic food and drink!
i. M.
Omg this restaurant is fabulous! My first time in a Mexican restaurant and lemme just say, absolutely superb! The food is super tasty with chili and different spices to tingle your taste buds. My partner and I love chicken wings and here at Acapulco, their chicken wings are so divine we ordered 2 more regular portions! (Probably should have just ordered the large portion lol) 🍗 #superyummy! Their frozen margheritas are really delicious too (we didn't even drink the water they provided for us - the drinks were too good! 🍹🍸) Their staff are also really friendly - the male server who attended to us, attended to our every need happily - even when we sent him up and down 😅
Everything was in order. They follow the Covid-19 regulations well with a sign in list at the door, plastic frames to divide seating and all the staff wore face masks when serving. So truth be told, this restaurant is definitely a must-go. We had a great time and we'll most certainly be back again (even if we've only got time for the chicken wings 😂)
D. O.
Great food, atmosphere/music and the staff were lovely.
m. k.
We ordered two chicken enchiladas and one chicken burrito. The prices were impressively fair, you can order drinks with it. The space is huge, you would surely get a table but if you prefer, they also take bookings. The only downside I felt was as if they were in a rush to get rid of customers quick and fast, like three of us were literally almost done within an hour. But overall, the food is just Amazing!
G. D.
The best Mexican food In Dublin.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
F. L.
Nice food, reasonably priced. Although seated outside the staff should still all wear masks. If you're going indoors to pick up food you should wear a mask. Just because you're delivering it outdoors doesn't mean you shouldn't. Several reviews have now mentioned this, disappointed they haven't got the message.
R. N.
Myself and my party of 7 others ate here Friday night and we weren't disappointed. We had the table for just over an hour as the table was booked again for later but we didn't need any longer really. The food came out without having to wait too long for it and was delicious. We were also impressed that the waitress remembered all our orders without writing it down and got nothing wrong and considering how busy it was, we were all impressed. Would definitely recommend a visit here if you fancy some good Mexican food!
D. G.
Very tastey, I Got the chimmichangas because that's what Fat Mac eats from a bag in Always Sunny. O was not disappointed it's like a fried burrito 🌯
E. R.
Delicious food, great staff and the best Tequila Margaritas ever
S. K.
Food was nice, great cocktails, but the staff where panicked and not very friendly, felt like a mad rush, probably wouldn't go back
P. B.
Amazing food and staff with very cosy settings
G. B.
The restaurant was quiet on the Thursday evening we went it. We were initially seated at the front of the restaurant looking out onto Dame Street, but it was quite draughty being close to the door. We requested to be moved which they did with no issue. The food is nice but the portion sizes could be a bit bigger. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The margarita's here are very tasty too.
M. m. K.
Their deep fried ice cream was to die for! And the margarita was good too
C. M.
Great option for groups! Pitchers of margaritas are great for sharing with nice fruit flavour options. The sharing platter starter is huge and great value! I had chicken enchiladas for mains which had shredded Chipotle chicken in x3 enchiladas. All in all a great spot for casual dinner in a prime location. Great value for money too when eating as a group.
m. m.
Gorgeous food, friendly staff, prompt service..frozen Margaritas are amazing!
F. S.
Went there with three friends and we are all very satisfied. We rang to book and inform them of a food allergy. They have been very attentive, the main waitress came over and put us at ease, and then the chef came to give advice on the best choice, what changes she could custom make depending on the choice and so on. The food was great, the avocado salsa simply superb and the portions quite big. Prices are reasonable, and you really get value for money when you consider the quality of food and the size of portions. Do go there!
A. W.
The food is fantastic, although my partner order something "devilish hot" and it wasn't SO hot, and it was a kind of disappointing.
Interior is very colourful, with lots of details, what makes the mood.
I would prefer that waitress was less hostile when I asked for a straw. They don't have them, apparently, and her answer was made in a judging manner.
S. L.
Cozy spot, good food and excellent staff, little pricy though
A. M. G.
Delicious food. See photo for reference. Point lost as food was a little too cold. I really like the décor and atmosphere.
C. W.
I am no expert on Mexican food but it was tasty and good quality. Price average for Dublin so value for money fine. Staff very friendly and brought me a free beer because they felt I waited too long for the main course but in my view it was just normal time between courses i.e. non Nice ambience and no loud music which made a very pleasant evening not having to listen to some monotonous drum beat in the background is a rare find these days.

Had dinner here this week. We came here planning to have the Early Bird menu, which we saw on the website. When we were seated at our table, the waitress told us that they don't do the early Bird anymore, "due to a change of management". We were not happy. However, the food is good here. A good range of Mexican dishes. Flavours are not too intense or spicy. Even at 6:30 on a Thursday evening the place was packed (so no real need for early bird then....). The tables are a bit tightly packed, but there are tables upstairs as well. The decor is nice, colourful Mexican style. One tip: it gets really noisy in Acapulco when it is busy, so at a table upstairs you can actually hear the person you are with! The waitress offered complementary Margaritas, which we declined, and instead gave us a complementary desert of Deep Fried Ice Cream, which was tasty. My review would be 4* except for the Early Bird on the website....
F. S.
The food is nice and special. Portion is great. Staffs are nice and friendly. The environment is gorgeous. Will definitely come back again. Just a reminder: reservation is recommended or else you won't get seat easily by just walk in.
C. K.
Some of the best Mexican food in Dublin and great cocktails they do not skim on the alcohol
S. F.
We ate here on Friday evening. We all agreed that they were the best Fajita's we had ever had in a restaurant. Food was extremely tasty. We will definitely be back.
F. b.
I got an enchilada that was €16, and honestly didn't taste like much at all. For that price I would have expected not to be hungry anymore and for more flavour. There also was a €3.94 service charge that we weren't warned about initially. I could have had a much better meal for less in a variety of places. The chairs needed repairs, also. Personnel is nice and smiling at least...
E. G.
Great location and the food tasted good, as well. What was not so great were the prices and where they sat us. Way overpriced, even for a restaurant in its location. For example, a pitcher of margarita was €34! Also, seating is pretty tight. We called ahead and made a reservation, letting them know we were coming with an infant. Although there were tables out of the way, they stuck us at a table in a high traffic area (next to the bar which is the main walkway for the restaurant) where just about every staff member accidentally kicked a highchair leg everytime they passed. They couldn't move us out of the way because the other tables were reserved too (even though those guests hadn't arrived). It was a little ridiculous.
L. J.
This fantastic restaurant has been a stalwart of George St for years. I went on first dates there and now return for birthdays and dinners. The food is traditional Mexican and exceptional and the prices are not over the odds. They have a decent bar and do a fantastic martini. The decor is really cosy and atmospheric. Their fried ice Cream dessert is an absolute must have.
c. d.
Fantastic little place . Staff are lovely and food was so quick . Chipotle cause is so good
E. G. H.
Great atmosphere, with the chairs colourfully painted. I ordered the Baja fish taco combo. Tasty and light, good for someone who doesn't want anything too spicy. My wife ordered the chilli beef chimichanga; that was, of course, spicier and very tasty. We both thought the seasoning, flavours and portions were just right.
We ordered from the lunch menu: €10 each. Good value for the quality of the food.
I thought the service was great too; very friendly and prompt, and the food arrived quickly.
K. S.
This place serves nice Mexican style food. I ordered a light starter of nachos and I had a burrito for my main. The meals are delicious and this is one of very few Mexican places in Ireland. I would definitely recommend the food but I would advise you to choose a seat far from the door as it gets cold in April.

I've been here 4 times. The enchiladas are excellent and the tequila shots are priced really well. The frozen Margaritas could be a little bit better for the price. The staff are friendly and it's always an enjoyable experience.
E. K.
Authentic menu & lovely customer service from a guy who was running the place on his own this morning! What a lovely idea to give complimentary shots to our table since it's mother's day (came in with my sister's family and a toddler). Minus one star as I feel that the vegerian options could be better:)
M. C.
Favourite restaurant in Dublin, everything is so tasty and fresh
F. C.
This place is a gem. Service was outstanding. The food is awesome. Roasted salsa which is hard to find. Someone said something about light but it was set right on. Had them make a hand crafted Herradura marg, and it was on point. I run several restaurants and it’s a shame when someone says something negative when they could just ask for a manger. No issues with this tasty place. Great job. Alex and Danielle
P. O. S.
Acapulco has been here for years. It must be one of the first Mexican restaurants in Ireland if not the first. It is definitely the best one that I've been to in Ireland. That doesn't say much for itself as I've also been to Mexicans in Ireland that have served rancid cream as sour cream. Acapulco is authentic in it's atmosphere and in the food they serve. The dim lighting and brightly painted chairs transport you straight to Mexico. The mix platter combo starter is always a winner, especially the cheesy jalapeño dippers. The tortilla with melted cheese I always found a bit strange and last time I was there I was disappointed to find no calamari on the platter anymore. Other wise the food it bursting with Mexican flavours and the staff are chatty and accommodating when they are not completely run off their feet! Definitely recommend.
W. C.
Food was quite good, excellent guacamole and look was spot on, but margaritas needed some work. Basically lime ones are not sour enough and salt rim was a bit disappointing... But considering we are in Ireland, pretty damn good. Tempted to give 5 stars anyway...
C.
If you are looking for an authentic Mexican food experience, you'll be disappointed. This is not really what we tend to eat at home. However, I still give 5*s as they do mention it on their website describing the place as "Tex-mex".
The food was lovely, the staff is super attentive and overall we had a very pleasant time.
S. T.
Lovely place for a quick bite and couple drinks and some delicious sweet thingies..
V. S.
First thing you notice when you walk in here is the decor, they've really put a lot of effort into making the place both authentic and visually stimulating. They specialise in Mexican food (big surprise) and they're good at what they do. Their non-alcoholic margaritas are really nice and refreshing too!
S. B.
Boutique Mexican restaurant with great food. Service is very non-European and could be improved. Manager knows how to fill the void in customer service. Downside is him leaving the restaurant to have a cigarette and make phone call when the place was busy. Their flavoured margaritas are very good. The traditional Rita (lime), however, doesn't have the fun flare of tasting the tequila, and they do use a good tequila. Music helps set the mood in any restaurant. It is disappointing they do not have Mexican traditional music playing in tbe background, rather the music is hits from 80s, 90s, 2000, and today. The food and drinks are a good reason to visit.
M. D.
Food was OK. Nachos with beef were tasty but burrito that followed it as main course was too plain for my taste. Service was disappointing even with low crowd. They didn't notice our water jugs were empty so we had to ask for refills, no questions if we liked the food. They are not dealbreakers but make for more pleasant time in any restaurant.
W. M.
This is fairly good restaurant but I would describe it as Tex-Mex rather than Mexican. They have been around longer than most of the Mexican restaurants in Dublin and they have outlasted many of them. If you are not sure about Mexican food this is a good place to start. It should be noted that the restaurant is very small so it would be a good idea to book in advance of your visit.
D. M.
Food was good as was tequilas. 12.5% compulsory service charge runs very expensive for party of 5 of more. I would prefer to tip what I think servers deserve. Service charge would cover a full 3 course meal for one
D. W.
Fantastic food, I always enjoy eating here. Can be very busy, but it's the most authentic Mexican-style food I've found in the city centre. Definitely try the chimichanga if you haven't already!
A. A.
My first time in a Mexican restaurant, the food was amazing, but the only reason i'm not giving a 5 star is because of the staff. They were very friendly and nice, my only issue was the waiting time to be seated and served. it wasn't that busy and seemed very casual service. but the food was delicious! I'll 100% go back for more.
C. F.
Absolutely fabulous flood, staff, ambience, everything. I've been going here for close to 10 years and never been disappointed. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
E. A. G.
Love it here...does what it says on the tin! Mexican...margaritas are amazing and really good prompt service!
C.
Great mix of food and great value set menu's
M. G.
this was the 4th time we came to have lunch in a busy Saturday, we always loved the food, but they have reduced their portions... the chocolate/orange GF dessert used to come in a full clay pot, and now it is just two tiny little slices. definitely not worth 7 euros. We will probably come back however, because the food is so good, just keeping in mind that the prices are higher than what they used to be. also the waiter was kind of dismissive, like he did not want to be there, which contrasts very much with the other experiences we've had here.
M. W.
Amazing food and good selection of hot sauce
S. S.
Very nice place to have a lunch if you want to try something new. Their lunch menu is pretty decent and economic. The staff was super friendly and place has very bright and colorful Mexican ambience. Definitely recommended!!
K. T.
Food is excellent, staff are so friendly and helpful, food is served so quickly! Gone there for anniversary every year for the past 6 years and don't plan on stopping!!! Highlight of the year!
t. p.
Decent food but far overpriced . Waiter made a mistake with food of a friend but kitchen made new portion quite fast.
Won't come back till prices will match competition
E. A.
Tasty food and drink especially margarita coctail, however rapid visits to table to ask if you want something else and finally bringing the bill before asking is way too much giving the feeling that we should consume all the time and stay short if we do not consume. Leaving people alone to have uninterrupted chats and be at service once asked would help me to choose this place once again.
C. K.
This is one of the best restaurants in Dublin. Not only for Mexican. The service here is fantastic. Always with a smile. Early bird is one of the best values in town. Not to be missed on a visit to Dublin
M. S.
Delicious food and must to try margarita
B. K.
It can be best mexican restaurant in Dublin. We went begining of September without reservation, that's why we had to wait 30 minutes.
We ordered fajita. The taste was good, but the porsion was not sufficient like in USA or in Canada, and also they served with only 4 each fajita bread, and they didn't add more, when finished.
By the way if you would like to eat mexican food in Dublin, the best option is Acapulco.
C. l. S.
Lovely and very helpful staff.. I had sour throat, so they arranged honey and warm water for me.. I was surprised, food was delicious and amazing interiors. We had a big ladies party going on and it was fantastic..
J. O.
Food is a bit like commercialized tex mex. Not authentic Mexican. The kids enjoyed it. I did like the deep fried ice cream. Service was friendly and timely.
A. K.
Acapulco is a great restaurant. The staff and the food are excellent.
My only problem with it is, the lighting is quite low and iI have had to use the light on my phone to read the menu.
C. D.
Lovely food and great atmosphere, however surprised staff were not wearing masks or face shields especially in current climate.
S. G. C.
Great place, price goes according to the city so nobody should complain about this restaurant being expensive. I'm Mexican and was very skeptical looking at the menu, it's a little north tex-mex. But the selection I made was VERY GOOD!!! I'll stop by again next time I'm in the city
L. R.
Went on a busy Friday night was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Decor was so cute and the food was so good. Portions were huge too! Frozen margaritas were unreal!
D. B.
I traveled to Ireland earlier this year from the US, and visited Acapulco three times during my short stay!
The spicy chicken taquitos were exceptionally flavorful. It ended up being my go-to. My boyfriend can be very picky and loved their burritos as well.
U. Q.
We found this through the First Table app. Fantastic food, staff and service. We got great value for money and didn't feel compromised on the menu options even though we had booked through the app. Will definitely be back
L. R.
Nice, simple, with friendly service and good food. I also think that it is reasonably priced. My favorite dishes are nachos and tacos.
Overall a nice, affordable alternative to other upscale Mexican restaurant in town.
l. f.
Great service and lovely food and drink.
T. G.
Great atmosphere, we went here for lunch and the waiter was very helpful and even offered to change the menu slightly to accommodate our vegetarian needs. Lovely food 😊
M. B.
I had the pleasure to dinner in the Acapulco. I was already wondering why a Mexican restaurant is named after a Brasil city. But I have to say the chilly Flauta was very good. But here are the risen I remove 2 stars. 1st the volume of the people was to high, to fight against the high volume of the music. 2nd they changed us a service fee, presumably writen on the menu (small letter), and it was 12€ a % of the bill.
Here I have to say following, if I want to give the stuff tip I want to do it volunteerly not obligated. And pay the stuff a good salary. Overall good food for good money if you not count in the service fee. I will not back that fast.
P. F.
Nice food friendly staff good service
J. D.
Nice food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Only quibble would be that we were stuck standing at the door for a few minutes being ignored by one member of staff who even looked at us and walked off twice.
N. G.
Very kind and polite staff. The food was very good. The margaritas excellent! Just a bit pricey but that's how Dublin is.
P.
Dropped in on a Saturday evening on short notice. 6 people in the group and they squeezed us in. Staff were friendly and food was tasty. The chipotle sauce is delicious!

Loved coming back here. Great Margarita's, on offer before 7pm ;-). I had chicken wings for starters & Tacos for mains. Great food, worth a try.
W. S. M.
It's been here for years. I tried their margarita as suggested by many comments and reviews, and I wasn't disappointed :-) we all got something different on the menu and everything was good! Great service also.
R. H.
Food was Gorgeous, staff super friendly, authentic Mexican feel and flavours, margaritas were unreal😍
M. J. G.
Awesome cocktails, great lunch deals, and the nachos just keep improving every time I visit. The fish tacos are fantastic as well.
C. M.
Always a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff are helpful and the service is quick. The menu is comprehensive and has something for everyone. The location is good. It can be very busy, so best to book a table.
J. D.
AMAZING FOOD and SERVICE highly recommend.
J. B.
The food was amazing, lovely staff and great service. It's my new favourite restaurant
R. B.
Delicious food and fantastic, attentive staff. Our food was brought out quickly, and was tasty and reasonably priced. Margaritas were excellent
C. Ó. h.
Unbelievable food, I had the chimichangas and they were to die for, the people with me had the burger and loved it too. The service was incredible, your man was an absolute gent and the mango margaritas were incredible.
N. C.
Nice place with a good food ;-)

Very friendly staff, food was excellent and fresh and the restaurant was clean and provided hand sanitizer on the table
C. K.
Great early bird menu and easily the best Mexican food to be had in Dublin without a doubt. Would highly recommend the strawberry margarita and the chilling beef burrito.
H. V.
I went here on a random night out with my boyfriend the minute we walked in i loved the decor was funky and the staff were really friendly. I love Mexican food and really enjoyed the food i ordered also the margaritas were yummy, a definite must if u like mexican food
G. C.
We loved the food here. A bit on the pricy side when it comes to the food and definitely for the drink so won't be somewhere visited a lot but is a nice experience overall.
N. M.
Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful
K. L.
Delicious margaritas and nice ambiance!

Too expensive for the quality of the food served. Decent but not fantastic. Don't order margaritas, they are watery and with zero taste.
E. M.
Delicious as always, great cocktails and amazing food. Love going there on date night.
J. S.
Wow, simply wow. Great taste and great atmosphere. Would have taken a photo of the food, but I've already eaten it. If you like Mexican food, you should visit.
A. K.
Food is delicious but cocktails or at least their margaritas are really watery, sweet and quite weak. Definitely worth the visit for the food though!
A. B.
Good, inexpensive lunch. Tex-Mex style Mexican food better than what you normally find in Europe. Very fast service.
A. T.
Very good place. The food is very good (specially if u like spicy food 😋) and the staff is really nice. I recommand it 100%.
L. G.
As a starter I had the pork tacos (cochinita pibil) and as a main I had the chicken enchiladas. The tacos were a bit bland but the portion was really good. The enchiladas were ok. Service was a bit slow but friendly.
M. T.
The food was great! Although it was hard to eat the burrito holding it with hands (lots of sauce) but it was delicious 😋
N. d. R.
We found this restaurant while visiting Dublin in April and couldn't wait to return this trip. Their burritos are possibly the best I've tried. Superb and busy restaurant.
V. B.
Good food with great margaritas and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend it if you're down for some mexican!
S. f.
Great food and the staff were really nice. Made sure everything was okay and we had what we needed. Limited beer selection however.
C. J.
Really nice food. A little slow given that Dublin Pride was on but I wasn't crazy about the service. We were an upbeat friendly group and the staff were a little mopey...
C. R.
Yummy food and drinks. There's a secret salsa you can get if you want to make anything spicier. Wednesday is their Margarita day
P. J.
Good food, super friendly service. Probably not the place for a quiet business meeting or an intimate dinner but great nonetheless.
C. S. C.
Food was really good. Went for a snack and desserts. The fried ice cream was really good. They also have really good Sangrias.
P. R.
Very enjoyable, was very quite but that could of being the time and it was easter Saturday, had three kids with us and they loved the nachos with chicken followed by ice cream and butterscotch sauce (€7), we both had the veg burrito which was tasty and filling, friendly and attentive staff.
A. F. F.

Y. L.
10€ for lunch menu , it was reasonable
G. R.
Decent food nice staff and a good service
L. K.
The starters were good enough but the mains were a bit disappointing. I suppose the early bird and margaritas deal was good but I wouldn't go back for the food nor the service
C. S.
Excellent Mexican food in Dublin. Chicken in quesadilla was well seasoned, house beer was refreshing, and staff was friendly.
J. M.

Tex-mex restaurant, adapted to european taste (not too spicy). Quite big portions, especially with the rice served as a side.
