Reviews of Aleena Indian Restaurant
A great little Indian Restaurant Lovely food Lovely staff well run family Business a little Gem hidden in the middle of temple bar area!!! Will be back next time we are in Dublin 💯🤗☘️
Absolutely amazing! My partner and I were walking down a random Dublin road, and were drawn in by the smell. We were immediately sat by excellent hospitality, and offered beverages right away. This restaurant offers a beer called cobra which is incredibly smooth and easy to drink. The food options were great. We picked a few different things ranging from spicy to sweet and savory. The Nan was made fresh and had plenty of flavor. We didn't leave a scrap on our plate and ordered some extras. If you are looking for a hardy meal to keep you satiated I highly recommend Aleen. If I lived in Dublin I would be a regular here.
One of those romantic place which u would like to be part of. Decent Indian food available within normal price range... The early bird offer is the piece of discount they provide. Even though the early bird offer expires at 7 pm the waiter was kind enough to provide it to me at 7:45 pm.. overall had a fantastic evening..
Great place to eat Indian food, amazing taste!!! The waiter was very kind and friendly, he was explaining us about the food and Indian gods 😄. We were the only ones in the restaurant that day and we were a little bit nervous, but after the dishes arrived, we realized was a great decision to get in there. Recommend 100%.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Very attentive. Good value for money. Was exactly what we wanted on our Dublin trip.
Fantastic food and very quick service. Me and the misses have had a great experience at this restaurant every time I ordered or went. It is actually authentic Indian food unlike others I have ate in the Temple Bar area.
Myself and a friend visited Aleena Indian restaurant yesterday evening and had a truly lovely 2 course meal, i have to say it was absolutely delicious, it was our first time to visit this restaurant, and am looking forward to visiting it again, i would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent back street indian resturant, were the food speaks for itself!! The female chef gives a really homey feel to the place!!
We ordered the 4 course menu. Food was 10/10. Fresh, served hot and very delicious. Reasonable prices and friendly service.
I'm a fan of the food here. It's a small gem of a place in the corners of temple bar that you wouldn't spot so easily, but once you get in and try their food you'll never really want to eat Indian anywhere else compared to the price it's a bargain. They have actual Indian chefs who cook the food and know how to make it authentic and that is what I like about it, as an Indian myself, I cherish places that cook real food that we eat.
Great restaurant.
Food is amazing.
Staff are amazing.
Highly recommended
Like for that price place service was really good and food tasty. Can recommend
The environment which they presented was good, the food was not spicy as we asked to make it more spicy than they make. Overall it was good.
Superb place and great value. Really enjoyed the restaurant.
Amazing food, lovely staff and best korma I have ever tasted 😍
Really nice curries and good friendly service.
I had a meal here tonight with my partner, the food was quality. I liked the lamb biryani and the pakoras. My misses is Indian and so she said the food was highly authentic and for the price (10-20€) you can't go wrong. Some of the places around Dublin charge 40€ per meal and it's washed down fake food compared to what true Indian cuisine is supposed to taste like. I'd recommend it.
Had the best Lamb Jalfrezi I have ever eaten from here. Great food and really nice staff. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff I found the waiter named Kash very helpful and the food was amazing. Definitely worth another return am looking forward to it
The early bird is great value. The Naan bread, had both the garlic one and coriander one was delicious. I had the Madras and my partner had the Korma, both very tasty. Service was nice and friendly. Highly recommend especially if around Temple Bar area.
Second time eating here. Found the food lovely. Came out quickly. Service good. Very reasonably priced. I will be back :)
First time here, I told the waiter that I needed to be impressed, he assured me, but let me down. This place needs a good lick of paint and some decor - it's so drab. The starter was delish, main course (vindaloo) was not what I asked for. The waiter said "come back an' we'll fix it. I wonder! Fair price for the area. Certainly not a mid market business more at the lower end. If I'm stuck I may venture in again and challenge the waiter.
Have been here a couple of times. The staff is very friendly and the food was amazing. Would recommend this place to all my friends
I enjoyed the food, it was fresh and the service was brilliant. I think places like this are a must-try for anyone visiting Dublin. You will get the heart of what it's like to eat REAL INDIAN food.
In the heart of TEMPLE BAR .I really enjoyed my food .it was delicious portions were good as well. would definitely recommend all. Very friendly staff. definitely will come back.
Had a couple time and disappointing each time. Quite dry and bland so wouldn't bother getting naan to dip in your sauce. Bamboo aloo was just sort of potato with spice and no sauce. Saag paneer was bland and definitely amongst worst I've had in Dublin. If you're in Temple Bar, go to Sitar. It's more expensive but infinitely better.
Food was acceptable, pleasant experience, not expensive, would dine again.
Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great - felt like you were getting a truly authentic, home cooked meal.
Had the most delicious Indian meal. Excellent food and excellent service!
I was looking a place to eat in Temble Bar, some places can be expensive and not good food but fortunately I found this restaunrat and I loved it! great flavour, not expensive and food very delicious. Good value! I will definitly recomend this place! Must try it! :)
Fantastic. A hidden gem. Buried in the centre of Temple Bar. Excellent food, all cooked fresh to go. Exceptionally priced too.
Helpful staff..location is in Temple Bar locality..with Covid regulations the place is deserted..still open for takeaway..
The best indian food i have ever had .... delicious food... friendly staff ....family atmosphere.. love to go again and again and recommend to everyone.
This is like walking into the livingroom of a family member. The staff was friendly and made a nice atmosphere. Nice and calm. A lot of vegetarian dishes. Priceworthy.
Amazing! We love this place and have been coming here for years. Food is so delicious and so reasonable.
Excellent Indian restaurant and fantastic food. I loved the food and will be back very soon.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. Excellent food and friendly staff
Simple but fresh and tasty! Bonus star for accessible prices. Totally recommended.
Amazing food and the most lovely staff. Our no.1 go to Indian!
Amazing food but quantity according to price is much less.
Not bad, could do with a more expansive drinks menu though.
Excellent food ,friendly staff, prompt service, excellent value
There is no comparison of Aleena Indian restaurant food with others indeed a very authentic Indian and Pakistani cousines likes of chicken balti lamb buna CTM Tandoori chicken Korma and etc very happy with the food
The food is nice but the something reminded me of home.

Good Indian food
Nice Indian food
It's ok.
Really good
We had dinner here through a Groupon offer and were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, cozy setting and quality of the food. The Groupon deal is highly recommended - the value for money is unprecedented. The friendly lady serving was very attentive and caring. When we visit Dublin again we will definitely eat here again!
At first we thought we were in bad luck because the place was empty, but soon after other people arrived. Small restaurant, but we ate well and spent little.
Very nice and friendly. Very clean and stylishly set tables. The food was super good.
Food was good and came quickly. Cozy atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Small but nice.
Abundant food, quirky atmosphere, a little tacky but funny. The main dish is spicy, even the one that is less spicy. The spiciest is almost inhuman.
Delicious food. We had the lamb curry and the chicken curry. Fairly affordable
Very nice, food was delicious. Small and nice!
Authentic Indian cuisine. Top. Unfortunately it's a bit old.
