The meat platter and the Long Island Iced Tea are amazing! The fries - hell yes! The money - perfect! Ideal for a few friends hanging out - has that rustic feel. Would recommend!

I discovered this place the other night when I was walking back to my hotel and STARVING. It caught my eye because I'm from the American West and I thought it funny to see a cowboy themed pub in the centre of Dublin. I read the reviews and gave it a try. Loved it! I know someone complained about having to climb through the window but I kind of thought it was fun and quirky and understandable under the current restrictions. The waitress was really friendly, helpful and quick. Prices were very decent, noise level fine, everyone seemed to be having a good time. I had a strawberry mojito (awesome) and a bowl of pulled pork fries. Not the healthiest dinner but really delicious. My only complaint is that the pulled pork was pretty fatty, so I had to leave the fatty bits to the side. Otherwise I really enjoyed my visit and I look forward to coming back - can't wait to see the rest of the place indoors as well.

I had The Tasting Platter and it was fantastic. I wasn't looking for cooking perfection, but a tasty meal and this ticked every box. Everything on the plate was packed with flavour and the sides were by no means an after thought (the Onion Rings were awesome). I didn't catch the name of the server, but she was really attentive and polite, despite being a vegetarian 😄 The overall experience was great. So if you're looking for a tasty meal in a rustic setting, I would highly recommend.

Amazing BBQ, ordered a plate of two meats: brisket and pork ribs, coming with an extra side. The meat was smoky, juicy, and reasonably priced!

Lovely meal. The cornbread is sort of like Cake really. Halloumi burger is tasty. Very good value for lunch. Lovely decor, good waiters and a great idea for hanging up your coat. I liked it. Caroline had the chicken wings and said they were lovely. I think mark had the braised beef. The beans were fine. Very filling overall. Desserts were nothing extraordinary. Nothing on the menu you could severely botch. Would go again 🙂

2023 Review -- First time I go to bison in 2023. I've been a loyal customer for years now because Bison simply delivers delicious food every single time. The meat was great and fairly priced, the sides are great with chips fresh and crunchy. The chocolate brownie is to die for... The perfect combination of warm and cold. This restaurant is criminally underrated. There's always table space. I think the just need some better marketing because the food speaks for itself. Well done!
