K. O. O.I went there on last friday and it was a surprise for me, one of the best restaurants in Dublin for sure and I've been in a lot of them. It's not a big restaurant, but when you get in you feel like at home, with a very nice vibe. I order a steak, my daughter a corn soup and a fresh pasta with pumpkin, my wife fish and chips.
I tried the soup and it was very nice and good for this cold weather, very different from others that I tried before. I couldn't try the pasta because it have cheese and I don't eat cheese, but she told me it was excellent. I tried the fish and chips and it was really very good, I usually don't like fish and chips because in mostly all the places they use really bad oils, but this one was awesome. The meat was wonderful, very very good meat and it was very well cooked, and I tried meat in some of the best places in Dublin.
I will be back for sure, I really enjoyed this place.

Three of us went here for a Saturday lunch. The menu is small, seasonal, and well considered: they were able to cater to the vegetarian coeliac in the party without missing a beat.
I ate the smoked haddock tart, followed by a decadently unctuous slow roasted venison, finishing with a rhubarb rice pudding.
All our food was well executed though there were few surprises on the menu.
The price was great: €28 per head for 3 courses.
M. J.I frequently have lunch at the bistro and at all times I have found the quality , portions and presentation of food excellent. The service is superb . the staff are outstanding in creating a feeling that You Are welcome and that you are Their guests
I would consider Mark ( the owner and hands on) the No1 in his profession -no matter how busy they are he is Charming and pleasing to all his guests and his staff are a credit to him.
His Gaelic coffee is to die for.
L. V.We been here this night for our anniversary: the bistro is really cosy and intimate, really nice and romantic atmosphere, i loved the style of the decorations! Staff was lovely. Best part was the food: every course was absolutely amazing, over every aspectation. We will defently be back here soon!
G. W.Marc and his team are excellent (Betty is my favourite). You'll find it hard to get better food in Dublin. I personally love the "sticky duck" which is not always on the menu so you'll need to ask for it.

M. D.Bought a voucher on The Dining Room as a treat for my mum, three courses, for starters we ordered Tempura Prawns in batter (nice and hot, lovely). For the mains, I ordered the rib-eye steak (med to well done), she ordered the organic salmon (cooked just right), extras (veg and potatoes were nice). We pushed the boat out and ordered desserts as well, passion fruit pavlova and choclate fondant. Good service, not fussy or lazy, all courses brought to the table in a timely manner. Well worth a visit for any foodie enthusiast.

Each time, we have been welcomed with warmth, friendliness and complete attention to our needs, wants and advice on the menu of the day. The Menu is varied and suitable even for those with various food intolerances (mine is Peppers!). Great setting, good food, welcoming friendly atmosphere and all I really want to eat is all the Starters!
M. M.A small, hidden gem in south Dublin. Very casual, modest portions, but very tasty food, and good variety in the menu, which is updated regularly. It is quite expensive, but worth it.
C. M.The menu caused a real battle to narrow our selections but having done so we had a paradisiacal experience from then on. The crispness of the sourdough to whet our appetite, an amuse bouce that fully amused, starters, mains, sides, desserts all fabulous and washed down with a beautiful bottle of buonamico that transported us back to our previous holidays in tuscany. Couldn't believe the value come bill time. Quality like this, for that good a price will see us back, for sure!
