Thanks to the Internet and online reservations, we randomly found this special spot for my 18 year-old to celebrate a milestone birthday and try his first sip of legal wine. Lovely dinner in a great atmosphere! Great memory for our family.

The restaurant is located in a nice area of town, away from the crowd of city center and near the canal (which is a plus to me considering that I hate Dublin city center). The food was delicious. I got the special of the day which was scallops and it was just amazing. My boyfriend got the breast of duck and was very impressed as well. If you are a dessert lover then you must try the apple and berry crumble, it was just delish. The atmosphere is very relaxed, not noisy and pretty romantic. The service was impeccable. I would definitely go back.

Probably one of the best places I have visited. I'm generally skeptical of overly positive reviews due to some bad apples however I can confidently say Bloom Brasserie is a brilliant place to visit. The atmosphere at Bloom makes it perfect for a date night or a fancy evening! It also wasn't loud or have music that would make you have to raise your voice and the privacy of the booths aids this. The service was perfect too, the staff struck a good balance between checking up on us and allowing us to enjoy what the restaurant had to offer. The starters, main course and wine were all incredibly flavorful. The only thing I would suggest to possibly review is really minor, which is we would have loved to have the duck a bit crispier. Overall it was a lovely experience and I'd recommend anyone looking to impress their date/coworkers/family/themselves ;) to try Bloom Brasserie out!

Table of 5...outside. Games were very tasty. In fact all appetizers got the thumbs up. Main courses looked good but were not great in taste apart from the risotto. Service was very good and attentive but would not be enticed to go back.

Just had an exceptional time. The staff with fast, friendly and very efficient. It felt like, while busy, they were taking the time to ensure each customer's needs were seen too thoroughly. Not to diminish the excellent service, the best part was the heavenly food. All really nicely presented, and just an adventure in flavour. Brought my girlfriend here for their special valentine's meal. Pricey place, but if you want a romantic setting, with a wonderful atmosphere, and attentive, fast & friendly staff then this place is worth every cent.

Fantastic food and service. A group of us went and we had nothing but a great time. The waiter was really friendly and funny. The music in the restaurant wasn't too loud which made it perfect for a relaxing conversation. The environment was also quiet dim with candles, making it ideal for a nice evening wind down. We had salmon and steak and honestly the cook on both wasn’t perfect. The salmon was a bit under and the steak was a bit over. With both dishes costing over 30 euro, we were a bit disappointed. But The quality of the food itself was nice and the potato side dishes really good. The service was also really lovely.

Went in with no expectations and WOW what a great surprise. Immediately you're greeted by a friendly team who clearly love their job - the vibe is awesome before you sit down. The menu was full of rockstar options, really hard to find a dish you didn't want to eat and everything was stuff you wouldn't really cook at home. I had the scallops, the duck, and the chocolate bar and every dish was a healthy portion of memorable flavours, textures and presented well. If you've not been just go you'll be glad you did.

Wonderful gem in the heart of Dublin. Don't miss it! I was for a quick lunch - almost too late at 2 in the afternoon. Super friendly waiter convinced the chef to provide me with a three course meal - delicious cauliflower soup, a good steak (although a little overcooked) and a delicious desert. But the best: Fabulous wines to go with the food and a coffee to fall in love with. What a wonderful discovery!

I could not recommend this place enough. From the moment you walk down the stairs you are made feel like a priority and so welcomed. The food was amazing and the overall experience was incredible. The lady that was serving my friend and I made out night. She was someone anyone would be honoured to have work for then, seemed to really love her job. I regret not getting her name but once you are being served by her you would know who I'm talking about. 10/10 overall

Went for our last night in Dublin and really wish I could say it was as good as expected. I felt really sorry for the 2 servers who had to cope with a lot of tables. You could see they were overwhelmed but they tried to keep up their good standards. The food was good but in my opinion not worth the price tag. Complimentary bread to start were wafer thin and half a slice per person left you wanting more. For starters for had the crab tian and carpaccio followed by the rib eye and venison. Dessert was the chocolate tart to share. The tian was not a tian at all as we know it but rather 3 blobs of crab mayo and Apple mix with shaved cucumber and salad in a bowl, underseasoned. The carpaccio could have done with more seasoning too...the rib eye was ordered medium rare but came out rare...i ate it but as that cut of beef cools down at a rare cooked temperature it gets very chewy...my partner again had to reach for the salt for her venison. It was all in all a good experience but mostly due to the good service and decor. The chef needs to pull his socks up though...maybe being a bank holiday and a Monday the head chef was off as most head chefs take a Monday off anyway...hope to have better luck next time around :)

The low ceiling means even the next tables conversation can make it hard to hear your friends. Extra noise is unwelcome in these times as it forces people to raise they voices significantly

One of my favorite restaurants in Dublin! Delicious. Cozy. Great service. Salad with beets and goat cheese was perfection. Chicken and potatoes had a nice complimentary sauce and was cooked just right. Salmon was cooked to perfection.

The food was excellent - particularly the beef chateaubriand. However the bill included: - an extra bottle of water. - 2 sides that were supposedly included. And that was just a cursory glance at the bill. The menu you use a qr ode/ app to read so there may have been price discrepancies for all I know. So be careful here.

My sister, girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner at Bloom Brasserie. For my girlfriend and I it was our second time and we enjoyed our dinner as much as we did the first time round. The service provided is top notch and, arguably, not often matched in Dublin. Small details such as offering to take our coats and giving win to try before pouring a glass always go a long way. The place was very warm and had a romantic candle-light atmosphere. Food was also delicious with particular tasty soup and my first try of venisom in my life. It was great experience and a great treat, although certainly on the pricier side, which is why we wouldn't go there very often. Definitely recommended!

Amazing 40th Celebration at Bloom. Páraic and staff were very accommodating and the food was out of this world! I planned our gathering at Bloom and was a bit concerned that our diverse group would all be happy. No worries here! We were charmed immediately and the menu appealed to every one of us. Service was friendly yet discrete, and the food was superb, cooked exactly right and seasoned delicately. I came to this place for the first time for a late lunch with my bf few years ago with a voucher for 2, but was really disappointed by literally everything: lack of atmosphere (we were probably the only couple in the restaurant that time), nasty attitude from a server, food was also not impressive and overpriced for what we got that time... Last week we decided to give this place another chance and went there for dinner. I'm happy we did it, it was such a transformation! The place was full, the stuff was extremely polite and attentive, the food was delicious and presentation was great! There was a bit longer wait than we expected between appetizers and mains, it turned out there was an unfortunate (for us:)) big party order just before us, which caused the delay. Anyway, the mains were well worth waiting, and additional salad from chef was a nice touch. I had a catch of the day, my bf had venison, and we both loved our food. The portions are big, I did not even have space for a dessert, will need to come again! :)

I've been here on a business dinner for about 12 people and on a dinner with my husband. The most recent was with my husband. We ate on the early side (6:30pm) and it wasn't very crowded. I didn't love the table we were sat at (right next to the bar tables), but we chose not to ask to be moved. I had the soup of the day which was mushroom and my husband had the salad with feta. We both enjoyed our starters. For our entrees I had the fish of the day which was cod and my husband had the lamb which the waiter said was the best dish on the menu. We both very much enjoyed our dishes. In fact, my husband said it was the most a lamb dish didn't taste like lamb (in a good way). We shared the creme brulee for dessert which was good. Service was attentive, ambiance was nice. I'd recommend for any occasion and whether you're a local or a tourist.

We ordered the Chateaubriand and Confit of Gressingham Duck along with Chateaubriand Wine Pairing. The Chateaubriand was cooked perfectly and the wine complimented it well. Both the Chateaubriand and Duck melted in the mouth. The sides and sauces was tasty. Even though it was a delivery, it gave us a fine dining experience at home and it was delivered on time. They called as the order left the restaurant. Páraic was very friendly and helpful in following up with me about my food intolerances as I had mailed prior to the order to check. Exceptional and wonderful service.

Having dropped in for lunch a few times I can say the place is nice. But just nice. The food can be quite tasty but when not availing of the weekly special you can be looking at close to €20 for a steak, which is a bit steep in my eyes. Further I think the set dinner menu runs €40+ which for what's on offer is again probably not commensurate.

I', not a great fan of Irish fries, as they are not cooked enough for me, but that seems to be a general trend. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. I love little local gems like Bloom Brasserie. This is a small local, restaurant run by two brothers who really pay attention to all the little details and it certainly shows. I had originally contacted Padric via email from the states and I was impressed by his responsiveness and eagerness to make a special evening work for us. Every conversation was friendly, professional, and showed me a real eagerness to please. The answer to every question was " we can make that work for you". Once we got there, our experience was even better. The food was DELICIOUS ... probably the best salmon I've ever tasted. The service was exceptional. Everybody was a nice as could possibly be. And our evening there was just wonderful. If you have the opportunity, go eat there!!! I certainly will the next time I'm in Dublin.

Something refreshing about eating nice food and drinking nice wine while listening to Jimi Hendrix, The Animals etc. Service was prompt and there was no hanging around with the delivery of the courses. I had the Mussels, Hake & bread & butter pudding off the set menu. All where delicious and the portion sizes were just right. You could eat here and go for pints afterwards no problems. Recommended!

My son husband and I went to this restaurant on the very busy Six Nations Sat night. It was our first visit down from Belfast. All I can say it is just fabulous. Every aspect of this restaurant is fantastic. From the moment we entered the restaurant the service was like a Michelin star restaurant. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Tomy was our waiter and he was just a fantastic guy and made our evening very special. He was so friendly and particulary very patient when my husband changed his mind about the wine. He couldnt do enough for us. The other staff were the same.The food is absolutely delicious and I had the nicest chicken I have ever eaten. Also they had a nice wee touch on the dessert for the birthday boy. This restaurant has a very smart, cool, relaxed vibe and we would definately recommend it. We cant wait to go back. Plus, they surprise me with many little amazing treats! Ambience - 5 stars - dimly lit, small, cozy and the best of all - live music. Come here and find some of Dublin's best saxophone, clarinet, and more! The night I was there, perfect renditions were played of Sinatra and other legends. This was my first visit to Bloom Brasserie today Friday 13th of September, and I will say one thing, it definitely will not be my last. There were 3 of us, all local office workers, who stumbled across this place early this afternoon. From the outside, you would never know what lies inside. I had the Seafood Chowder, which was fantastic, so creamy and flavoursome. My colleagues both had the coronation chicken sandwich with the sweet potato soup. They were both as impressed as I was. The sandwiches were served on olive wood dishes, which in themselves were impressive. Us three ladies go for lunch every Friday afternoon, this is definately our new spot.
