Reviews of Boojum - Hanover Quay
Food is nice, not bad price, good for a quick eat. Staff seemed unhappy, couldn't hear what they were saying and made the ordering process difficult. One girl was making all the burritos but didn't feel we were given all the options or couldn't hear what she was saying over loud music that was on, while the other girl was on her phone at the till waiting for her to finish. Didn't seem like the most efficient setup especially as it was busy.
This is the best deal one can get! For students or anyone else this price quality taste is perfect. The meal is sumptuous, mostly I order rice bowl and the variants are not much complex and confusing. Easy to pick and go!
Great food. Very fresh and full of flavour. Unfortunately the staff are always stressed and rude. They never smile and are snappy. Pity.
Good food decent staff, but the plastic waste is out the roof!!! Take-away companies should plan for compostable items, like others show it's possible (i.e. Sprout etc). Boojum, think all plastic bowls + forks multiplied by thousands per day, all thrown in landfill, it's plastic fest. @people who buy, request this change (like i just did).
Yo this are sick burritos. Nice portions and some completely original salsas and rice. Pretty cheap too, worth trying. The service was fast and kind. Really appreciate that they had people who was able to speak spanish too.
The tastiest and best constructed burrito I've ever had.
Burritos or bowl, fast food style and very attractive to students. The staff was very friendly
Loved it, I haven't been to much Mexican Reetraunts but so far the best in Lenstier, I got the tacos and where very good, best I've had, the choices are amazing and for the price pretty cheap, good location too, the only fault was I couldn't really hear the people over the screens, but hey, I really can't complain.
I love Boojum, but this outlet in particular has managed to mess up my order thrice in a row now! 1 star for this store in particular.
Edit - since the time I posted this review, the store has genuinely improved and I’ve received the perfect order every time! 5 star for turning things around!
Great portion size and flavour was delicious. Ordering was a bit complicated as soo much to choose from and not standard dishes! Staff a bit impatient but still polite.
Best burrito I've tasted in Dublin. Service is very fast and that burrito was enormous and super delicious, full of flavour. Good vibes to hang out with friends too.
Little Mexican takeaway with places to eat inside. Tacos hard shell were delicious. My wife had a lovely burrito. Two Desperados and it was a Mexican feast at affordable prices. Friendly staff. 4 stars because the place is a bit chilly (pun intended). And their sauces are from Mexico, real deal.
Food was great, turnaround time in the queue really efficient, space clears up quickly... Good for lunch on the run, on your own or with friends... Very very crispy Nacho chips and awesome toppings.
Okay, a bit pricey and the same taste as any other burrito I've had in Dublin even much cheaper alternatives! The location of this store is great though!
A great option for lunch. Large portions of tasty food... Build your own meal at a fair price...
Our go to place for a quick heavy meal. Prices are great, portions are big.
Would recommend adding the quesadillas to the menu instead of forcing us to go through apps.
Very average Mexican food where the guy at the counter screwed up most of my burrito bowl -:( also very stingy in veggies and toppings even after asking and paying extra for them
Burritos good. Tortilla chips fair. Absolutely fantastic view. Right on water. Definitely returning.
First time trying a burrito wrap few weeks ago, it was the best burrito wrap I've ever had in my life! And I just ordered one tonight and by golly me!
I am so freaking excited!!😍🤩🥰🌯 #5
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This place is fantastic, not to mention how great the staff are and the food is just great value compared to other restaurants that do similar food, its also head and shoulders above them in terms of quality. I would give six stars if I could, the Jarritos are delicious too.
Hard to rate this place. What was I expecting? It's a fast food burrito place. Service was good. My burrito was really nice. However as a "sit-in" place to eat, It's nothing to rave about. The choice is limited and would not be suitable for people with diet restrictions. I would rate at 2, but the lady mixed my burrito up before she wrapped it. That's gotta be worth a star in itself!
Cracking food as always. Well worth the lunchtime queues
Of all the Mexican places in Dublin, I can say this is the best one. Great hit of Mexican flavors and taste. Loved it!
Tastfull but my burrito came very cold...
Great place to eat a burrito!
I'm averaging three burritos a week. It's probably not sustainable but I'm enjoying the ride. This place is hands down the best burritos I've had. Highly recommended, though you should avoid if you have low self control. See you guys tomorrow.
One of the best Burritos in Dublin. It is inexpensive and very tasty. Seasoning is much better than other similar options. It could be better on the drink availability as they don't even have sparkling water available but otherwise a fantastic option.
The staff are generally nice and patient particularly when it gets busy. Generous with helpings and always tastes well. Meat can be very tough and sometimes cold, and they don't crush tacos up in your burrito like they used to
Great place to grab a burrito, tacos, fajitas etc. I normally opt for the burrito bowl( literally a burrito in a bowl, without the flour tortilla). Even better when the limited edition shredded chicken is on the menu. Also serves beer.
What can you say? It's another amazing Boojum location with a great view of Grand Canal Dock. They have the best Mexican food in all of Ireland. The hard shell tacos are spot on and they do burritos that are simply divine as well. The service is prompt and the staff are friendly but be aware like many of their other locations they get crazy busy many days during the week which can lead to longer than expected wait times but even if there is a large enough queue they are pretty good about serving everyone in a reasonable amount of time.
The flavors need work. If you’re just looking for something to fill your belly then this is the place, it was a big portion, but I would persist in seeking out other options in the future. The best burritos that I’ve had so far we’re in California and Mexico
We got take away from here - chicken burrito and chicken fajita. Overall pretty good. The burritos are huge so they are a bit hard to eat whole. I ended up cutting mine up. Also don't bother getting avocado on the burrito. You don't taste it as it gets lost in all the other flavors. Also I got chips and queso. The chips are homemade and very good. The queso is fine - tastes better than it looks but next time I'll go with the salsa or guacamole.
I love the place and the food of course. However I have had really bad treatment on Friday evening.
TL;DR: careful while using your loyalty card. You may be treated as a scammer.
Edit: after I raised the issue to the customer service. They immediately took action and mailed me free burrito cards. Thanks, great service!
Background story:
I have been an avid boojumer for months so I have quite some accumulated free burrito from my loyalty card and I wanted to use them. However the lady in the counter told me that she can't accept my loyalty card credit because they look like I did it myself without buying the actual burritos. I said that's of course not the case but she torn my card and my 2 free burrito credit is gone. It's not about money or anything but I was treated like I'm a scammer and trying to get free food by telling a lie. I paid myself and left but felt terrible.
This was not cool at all.
This is a very busy spot for lunch. The fare is ok though. Definitely very filling but lacks flavour tbh. As a lunch option during the work week it's ok. Not a repeatable option for me tbh as there is just one vegetarian option and not quite more-ish enough to entice me back on a regular basis. Having said that it is a very popular spot given the queues at lunchtime.
Very nice place. Really enjoyed my burrito. Big enough variety on the menu. You don't have to get your burrito in the wrap, you can ask for a bowl which i thought was a great idea.
Like any other boojum. Good tacos and salads. Really friendly service and a safe choice - you know what you're getting, the price is good, and the service is quick. Very busy at lunchtimes though, so you might want to bring it with you back to the office.
Lovely food but very inconsistent from a portion size point of view; some staff are generous with the fillings but more are miserly. Having to ask for more is not a position to be putting customers in!
Fresh perfectly cooked Mex food, very reasonably price, best value in Dublin. The bench seating areas uncomfortable for my old bones but there are chairs available if you can can get them. Great place to eat.
Good mexican fast food with nice staff. Unfortunatelly chairs are not confortable.
Standard fast food Mexican chain. Little bit overpriced for what it is, but it's fine for lunch. They could make an effort to stop using plastic for their bowls though
I ordered a Burrito Bowl and they served me a Burrito in a roll 🤣🤣. Nevertheless, the food was decent and tasted more Mexican than several other restaurants that claim to specialise in Mexican food.
Good Mexican with plenty of options to customise the food to make it the way you like it! Service quick and efficient. Got spicy beef burrito bowl with mexican rice and chorizo nachos sprinkled over it and it was super tasty. Had to drink quite a bit of water with it though :)
I usually don't write reviews but I eat here at least twice a week as it is close to my work. The food is always good and the service is even better. All the team is nice and friendly.
Thanks for making my family happy every Friday Burrito night! I’d love if you could add more vegetarian options, like seitan or soy chicken as meat alternative. If you look for inspiration, I’d recommend to look a Burrito place ‘Dolores’ in Berlin!
Got a burrito out of here just before the dinner rush. The food wasn't warm (not warm enough to even half melt the cheese). Being Boojum it was still tasty with plenty of seating. Just make sure what you;re getting is warm.
Rapid service, vegan-friendly🌱 (I recommend the veggie burrito with Mexican rice🇲🇽), beer🍺 available (if you buy food), really friendly staff. FREE meal after your 10th purchase. What more could you POSSIBLY ask for?
Yummy! Good burrito and +1 for the student discount! One thing: agree that the vegetarian options are weak. Please consider a tofu / seitan option. Please please! But otherwise awesome flavors
Best Boojum in town. Staff were really friendly and helpful especially with regard to vegan Boojum bowl. 1st time here but I'll be back.
This was my first experience of Boojum. A very well organised and fast service. The food was great when are they going to open some restaurants in England? I think they would do very well.
Seems very popular at lunchtime - always full with a queue of people waiting to order. The usual boojum fair is on offer - I like the burrito box - all the flavour but none of the mess of eating a burrito!
Lovely place. Excellent service and very tasty boritos.
Eating at Boojum will give you superpowers and make you more attractive to the opposite sex. Okay maybe not not the food is second to none. I love this place.
Right at the heart of the dock, this boojum has a very nice view. Food, like all boojums is very tasty. Just don't visit this place around 12:30-13:30 as people from around the offices come here for lunch and it becomes really busy.
I'm just not a Mexican person and this bland fare is no exception, even with the hottest sauce, chilli's, etc. 3 stars though because most my friends and colleagues seem to like it, and it is efficient service
Excellent selection to make your own burrito, tacos, or bowl. The ingredients are flavorful and you'll go days without being hungry!
Better than Chipotle
Always delicious, food is consistently good, and great views of grand canal dock too.
Best place if you want to grab some mexican food. They have really spicy sauces and flavourful meats. I personally love the carnitas.
Thanks for opening here in the Grand Canal. May you have great success. Love your vegan burrito. Please bring some tofu, tempeh or seitan into the menu.
Great place for mexican style american food. Highly recommend.
What is there to say about boojum? From the tantalisingly tenacious tortillas, to the brazed beef brilliance of my burritos. From the extra hair that grows on my chest when I ask for the hot salsas, to being serinaded by Johnny cash the morning after. Boojum isn't just a burrito chain, it's turbulent excursion into flavor town spanning over multiple days.
Had a chicken buritto and a bulners cider. Large help and very filling, good taste and great ingredient options. A little on the expensive side, but still good value.
Best place for a burrito
Always good... Burrito in bowl is the way to go! Tortilla chips and queso sauce is a great side to go with your burrito! ;-) #LEGEND
Have eaten many times here. Always fresh and tasty. Really good burrito and nice choice of drinks.
I'm not usually a big fan of smoked fish, but the smoked sardine green smoothie is amazing, an excellent way to get them protes in ;) the smell of smoking is a bit overwhelming tho
Good, nice, filling (very filling), quick, nice view, good prices
Lovely food thank you. Need stronger forks though
You can find so delicious burritos and also soooo cheap! You can choice to eat in a bowl or wrap, If you are hungry I advice you to choice a bowl 😉
Such a lovely member of staff and great portion size.
Deece booj always a deece booj, got myself a t-shirt order for takeout always ready on time. Probably could do without queueing to get your free booj after 10, should be considered in website functionality
Delicious - Very Fresh and Tasty.
Enjoyed the food with minimal waste, huge portion for nice price, good for vegans and eco-friendly burritossssss. Nice music as well.
Great burritos, mid priced and sometimes a little salty but otherwise delicious
Best burrito I have ever had. I have had more than 400 over the last two years and have the shirts to prove the damage.
Great place to eat something quick. Very good ingredients. Sometimes the portion of food is not great.
Very filling food, efficient service. Music was loud and no footrest under high tables makes your feet tall asleep.
Best Burrito in Dublin. Staff are friendly, food is good, music is too. What more do you want?
Food and prices are great, queue is fast. They are ALWAYS missing some ingredient though.
I grew up in California and this is pretty damn close to the burritos I know and love. The one thing they're missing that I would love is Al Pastor.
Good for casual dining or grabbing a quick bite. The Mexican food served here is reasonably good.
I really enjoy it. Just the food should be a little more hot (mine was quiet cold ) and will be perfect.
This is my regular spot to get lunch while I'm working. Nice view and consistently great food.
Tasty burritos, long lines, very good for a chain place so far from Mexico!
Solid burrito 🌯 highly doubt it's authentic Mexican cuisine but nonetheless tasty.
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Fine and tasty, but limited menu. Wonderful location.
Delicious Mexican food! Too bad they don't seem to have beer there. 😭
Always great, quick service, tasty food, great seating and music, helpful staff 🤙
Does the job. Not the tastiest burrito in town (little ass or Pablo picante) but it's decent!
Hit and miss this place, sometimes it's quality, sometimes it's dodgy.
Over 10 for basically a bowl of rice at a deli was pretty pricey but it was good.
Excellent fast food Mexican. Very good quality Burritos.
Lovely food. Good portion size. Very good value for money
Very tasty burritos. Quite big but not heavy. Recommended!
Amazing guacamole. You can customize your burrito as you want. Collect the stamps!
Love this place. There are a few them around Dublin now. Love their tacos.
Very nice food at a very affordable price. Safe were polite and friendly.
Always tasty. Always consistent. Hard to stay away! Some of the best guac around.
Good burritos. Music near checkout is way too loud though, super hard to order.
Fair price and in my opinion, the best burrito in town!
Awesome Mexican choices
The Irish version of the American Chipotle. Great fast Mexican food and prices.
Good food more like fast food than restaurant but great value
A quick Mexican still fast food. Nothing special, but does it's job well.
Tasty food, good and fast service, nice environment, decent price.
Five stars!😊
First time there, food tasty but a bit disappointed with the warmth of it.
Good quality Mexican food !! Nice place looking out on the dock
That's our go to place for quick and healthy meal with the advantage they stay open till 10pm.
Newest Boojum location. Same great service and burritos in a cool new setting by the water.
Best burrito in Dublin. Long queue at lunch time but it flies along
The food it was perfect, good taste, nice place, friendly staffs.
Amazing burritos. Best in town. Staff is a bit moody.
Excellent. Great vegetarian menu. Value-for-money
Best place ever. Absolute number 1 place to get food. Pooled pork is the best
Best Mexican in Dublin & you can choose how spicy you want it.
Best boojum by far! Food is always so tasty and the staff are second to none.
The most amazing food nappie you could get in Dublin. Good selection of sauces as well
We have eaten here a few times and always good.
Most favourite Mexican place! This one has a great view as well.
One of the very few things I miss about Dublin- but why are they so often out of chicken? 😭
Delicious burrito, felt safe and clean
Crowded at lunch time but great food. Totally worth the wait!
Gorgeous food... a little messy. Clean bathrooms though
Simple , quick fresh Mexican food with friendly service.

Best burrito I have had in ages!!!
food was okay but portion was a bit small (tacos)
Probably the best burrito I've had.
A pretty good burrito, fair prices.
Tasty burritos and great views of Grand Canal.
Quick and very tasty. Pricey enough for what you get though.
A bit of a queue if you get there at the wrong time but it's worth the wait.
Pricey for what it is. Food was nice, wait times were ok.
Quality was not bad initially, but they have clearly declined lately.
Issa boojum. You can probably find better burritos but perhaps not as quickly.
Great food and value for money!!
Boojum, what else do I need to say?
Soo good!
Best burrito in Dublin with huge portions
Good value and tasty veggie burito
Great burritos, super location overviewing the docks

Staff was okay, price / performance ratio was right.

Leckere Burritos, sah alles sehr frisch aus.
Personal war in Ordnung, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
Fast and tasty Mexico, where you can mix whatever you like. Price vs. quality 5*, but since it's only fast food, I gave 4*
Good Mexican food, at a very affordable price and close to leading companies. 100% recommended.
One of the best and tastiest burritos in Dublin 😁
Very tasty Mexican food. It is worth trying one of their burritos in such a pleasant environment. Very ambiance for lunch and very pleasant for dinner
It's not bad, although it's not a great place either. Mexican style fast food.
(Translated) Thanks to this place, I learned about Mexican cuisine. Avocado and cheese corn chips are just a fire!

Завдяки цьому місцю дізнався про мексиканську кухню. Кукурудзяні чіпси з авокадо та сиром просто вогонь!
