Nice menu and great food.
Not cheap nor expensive.
Very good gluten-free options!
Espresso wasn't the best.

Was passing by and stopped to admire the beautiful pastries behind the window. Got the raspberry and custard cruffin and it's the best pastry I've ever had in Dublin. It's so good I was looking all over Google maps for this place just to leave a review. So unlike the usual nauseating pastries you get everywhere else. Can't wait to try the rest.

This is a gorgeous place. Really classy place in the heart of Dublin City Centre. The food is really well thought out and offers set menus as well as a la carte. We use the place regularly in our travel club and they are kind enough to give us a portion of our tab back in the form of travel points, which makes the decision to eat in the gorgeous place a bonus.

This is a really excellent all round restaurant. The focus here is on delicious food and it hits the spot with every course. We had the set menu with white wine tonight. The calamari was amazing, the mains especially the fish was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is well thought out. The service was top class. Must eat.

Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices. My wife and I had the 1/2 roasted chicken, very tasty.

Great atmosphere, the service was great. They're drinks and cocktails were excellent
Food came out in good time and was all well presented and very enjoyable.
For starters I had the mushroom soup, highly recommend it. With some parmesan olive oil and pickled enoki mushrooms it really was an excellent soup
The catch of the day was very well presented with baby potatoes, black olives sun-dried tomatoes and grapefruit, although being a little bit dry it was still a very excellent dish and would get it again.
For a busy city centre restaurant the standard of quality was very noticeable for everything from the food to the service to the restaurant setting.
Would highly recommend

Came for valentine's while visiting the city. Very nice food. Service was good and decor was nice. Good range of cocktails. Pricey cocktails but well made. Would recommend and come again.

Very nice place with good food!

We came here using a thetaste.ie voucher, which allowed us to have 3 courses, a bottle of wine and a welcome cocktail, we were able to switch our wine for a bottle of rosè and pay the different which was decent of them. The food was excellent and the service was tip notch. I would highly recommend you try dining here sometime

Visited Brasserie 66 for brunch with some friends and it was great. Really delicious food with great choice anything from eggs, toasties and pancakes. The service charge is 12.5% and added automatically which we thought was a little high although the service was good. There was also a couple of additional items on the bill but this was sorted out very quickly. Overall great brunch and the food was fab!
A.
Slightly more upscale restaurant bar. Service is very attentive and trying their best but very busy and thus a little slow. The food is slightly expensive, but very good and diverse (can range from local traditional to more fancy). I would recommend the menu which is, all in all, a better deal than ordering single dishes. Portions are very big depending on what you order.
y.
Delicious food and great atmosphere! Super friendly staff too. The burger was yummy!!
S. D.
Very nice food, great atmosphere friendly staff. Had the evening menu at 39€, duck leg was a small and kind of weird dish. Main course the rib eye was great, can recommend that. The rom raisin ice was great, but that's one of my favorites anywhere. All in all a nice place, a bit loud music thou for talking during dinner.

We had great time, I had ordered tandoori chicken wings, I am not a big fan of chicken wings but this was the most delicious one, my partner had ordered burger, it was delicious too and my friend had ordered steak sandwich on sourdough bread, I recommend this too.
The waitresses were very welcoming and professional too!

I rarely miss a chance to pop into BrasserieSixty6 when I visit Dublin. It's my go to place for lunch. The food is excellent and the staff and managers are lovely, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome without being annoying about it.
Their lunch menu is simple yet very tasty, you can tell a lot of work has gone into the menu planning and execution.
Make sure to sign up to their mailing list as I've had so many great offers and even some freebies sent to me especially on my birthday.
If you are lucky enough to be served by Rosie make sure to tell her Liam said hello. She is a pure delight and an excellent server.

Nice meal...nothing over the top but nice.
Burgers were overdone and ‘dead’ - just needed a bit of medium rare to make it work.
The chicken was - a lightly grilled chicken. So nothing to shoot out the stars with.

Loved this restaurant, with excellent food, variety, and very cool atmosphere. Cocktails are amazing and the guys who work there are helpful and smiling all the time, great customer service. I found very good value for money as well. Recommended 100%

Nice meal. Chicken excellent. Good service. A little pricey but would return

Amazing ambience. Food is a bit expensive, but totally worth it. We grabbed the three course early bird menu for 31.50 euros (5 euros extra for steak). The early bird menu didn't have appealing choices for dessert, so I ended up ordering a cocktail. Would recommend to try this restaurant at least once, but I probably won't go there the second time.
D. A.
Service was good, Food was really good. It was full but not noisy, you can hear yourself talk. Price is €€
R. A.
Had an amazing dinner with friends, great food, excellent service, would definitely return.
C. O.
Excellent service. All staff were so welcoming, warm and attentive. Menu is mouthwatering and adaptable to cater for Coeliac (gluten free) but also the server and the kitchen were amazing with egg and nut allergies. Professional and confident staff make for a more comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable experience. Cocktails are a must here. Try the Tobacco smoked Old Fashioned which is their signature drink. Thanks a mill. We'll be back. Sláinte

Service on point, wine menu could be better, correct prices, perfect portions and flavours.
B. B.
We had booked tables for the early bird timings. The starters were good, main course portions were large, though they were lacking in flavour. Desserts course also had the option of cocktails, that went very well- prosecco.
For kids I would mention though they didn't have a printed kids menu but they did have a few options for them. Lovely atmosphere, not formal. Loved it.
Do try Rumba and crab salad
C. D.
Great service and too quality food. Definitely save room for the desserts...

Brilliant restaurant 5star Staff - Jan is a real gentleman. Took care of us with real care. Highly recommended.

Top restaurant located in Dublin 2. Great place to eat with wide choices of meat dished vegetarian options, with extensive cocktail list and spirits, definitely worth a visit as it's near by
A. A. M.
We had a wonderful time. Very friendly staff and the food was great. Prices are generally on a higher end but it was worth it.
P.S - I didn't pay.
M. R.
Great atmosphere delicious food. Went there for a 21st birthday brunch and had a fantastic time with live music friendly staff and affordable prices. Reservation recommended
J. M. (.
I was here a few years ago with my sister and I ate here before a theatre concert and the food was exquisite. I think we had the Pre-Theatre menu and I had the Duck Confit to start and the burger for my main. I was too full for dessert but I'm sure it would have been amazing.
I personally think it was good value for money and the cocktails were lovely.
Will go back here when I can!

Good food, varied menu, good service, good location. The chicken wings are great. I've been a couple of times and would recommend for a casual bite or a celebratory dinner.
M. G.
Starters were amazing. Mains were ok but I felt information was lacking on the the menu as to what you were getting. Sprouts came with beans etc. The staff were lovely especially the lady serving at our table. I did notice that 3 sanitizer pumps were empty when I tried to use them.

Lovely night in Brasserie 66, good foid & great service. Everyone wearing masks
T. C.
I love the atmosphere. The cherry valley duck and the mushroom soup... Exquisite
W. C.
Food was decent. Service was fine apart from having to ask four times for the bill. I'd go back but they need to work on the attentiveness.
Was going to be a five star but the 15 to 20 minute wait for the bill really got to me, especially since we were told we had to leave at a certain time. We were fine with it and hurried through our meal, but when we were left waiting for that length of time that we could have spent enjoying our it left a sour taste.
S. C.
I ate here with a group for a hen party. We all ate from the three course set menu for €44. No-one had any complaints, all the food was lovely, but nobody could finish it! You will have to come with any empty stomach to enjoy all three courses- the servings are huge! I was full after the starter... which was soup!!
I would definitely eat here again, but I'd eat off the a la carte menu next time.
The decor is great and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.
C. R.
Absolutely delicious! Since we spent our Thanksgivings here we got to order perfect holiday food. Would highly recommend.
C. E.
The food has really improved since being here last. Good ambience for talking without it being too loud. Staff very nice and attentive with full knowledge of the menu. Set menu is good value with a good variety of dishes. The cocktails are good also. Large portions for dinner with a good selection of wines.
C. C.
Was in on my own on a busy Saturday for a quick starter, didn't want them to waste a table so asked to sit at the bar.
They actually don't normally serve right at the service bar, but the host was super nice and accommodating, set me up there with my wine and a nice starter.
Was really appreciative of his hospitality, wine and food were good, will recommend this place.
E. V. C.
Great service but food is average only.
A. K.
Wonderful brunch menu! Plenty of options that are a balance between both the "breakfast" and "lunch" aspects. Little bit pricey (however, reasonable for being in city centre) but portions are sizeable and staff are very attentive! The atmosphere is calm and great for a catch up with friends!
A. M.
Came with a tour group and we got seated straight away. Waitresses were pleasant but very busy as it was a Saturday night. We had a few choices for our three course meal and I opted for the wild mushroom soup which was delicious, the rotisserie chicken with peas, mashed and stuffing balls which was quite good and a large portion, lastly finished with the decadent chocolate mousse dessert. The food took a long time to come out but again it was a busy Saturday and it was loud in the restaurant (88 decibels measured by one of our group) I would go back but would probably choose a different night
N. M. C.
Beautiful dinning area, but food disappointed me a bit... only had a deal menu, will come back to try the standard menu. The pecan desert was very good though.
D. C.
Food was great, but for the prices you would expect decent service.. I've had better service in McDonalds. Left standing at the door while the waitress was playing with a baby, we were sitting with out coats on ready to leave when we finished, the waitress passed us 3 times and looked at us before I had to call her tiger and ask for the bill. Even though the food was great, I wouldn't recommend
D. M.
Visited here for the first time today with our one year old and three year old for lunch while on a family day out. Really had a great experience. Food was so good and prices were reasonable. Staff were so nice, friendly and helpful at arranging tables and a high chair for us. Manager was doing her share of work and the experience of the table staff showed. One of them even played peep with our baby to distract her from crying when she bumped her head. Toilets were clean and baby changing unit was in good working order. If the menu and prices stay the same then we will definitely be back for lunches and without the kids for dinner too! Looking forward to it already!

Had a fantastic dinner last Christmas in this restaurant in Dublin. Hopefully will get to book a meal here this December.
Great food and the staff were great... overall great experience and atmosphere.
S. K.
Overpriced. Vegetarian main was €20 for a quarter of an Aubergine.
t. d.
Lax security for covid 19 and very restricted menu. Bit like a truckers cafe.
E.
Popped in here for a quick lunch. I was happy as they had coeliac bread available for my dietary needs and I was able to enjoy a lovely sandwich. My friend had a beef sandwich which she loved, and mine was chicken and it was lovely. The price was very reasonable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
W. S.
Great staff, love the cheese platter, good wine selection
b. a.
Had eaten here before but the food was better than I remembered ,the christmas set menu was lovely. Really great staff as well, very friendly and doing a great job in the really difficult covid conditions. Well done!
T. R.
We picked this place for our friend's birthday meal and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were so accommodating and even gave us a birthday dessert plate for free, which was very kind because we all forgot to buy our friend a cake (whoops). Great location too.
N. M. R.
The single best meal I had in Dublin. Still remember it to this day.

I have been here several times now, and the experience has been consistently good. Most recently went here for an anniversary dinner with my partner. We were using a voucher so we had a three course menu that had a smaller number of options. But in spite of that, we managed to find delicious options for all three courses. For starters we had liver parfait and crab salad. Both were superb. Main course we went for the steak and the burger. Both were cooked perfectly, and the burger was nicely garnished. Finally, we had the ice cream sundae, and a tiramisu made with Amaretto. Both delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
L. G.
The restaurant is huge and design wise is quite good. The service was a let down as well as food. My burgers were over cooked and were hard to chew. Our waiter was chilling while sat down with the other staff members at the table and we were left trying hard to get someone’s attention to get a bill, pay and leave.
F. P.
Sunday brunch was fine. Had the Irish breakfast which was cooked just right. The coffee was excellent. They seemed a bit short on staff so while the service was friendly you sometimes have to wait for a waitress/er to appear.
S. D.
Had a lovely evening here with friends. Staff and service were very good. Lovely welcoming feeling. All my food was delicious. If i were to change anything i would like to see a couple more selections on the early bird menu. I will definitely be back 😊
L. P.
Absolutely delicious, hadn't been there since it first opened and I wasn't totally sold on the food but this time calamari was delicious and the steak cooked to perfection. Huge amount of coeliac options which was perfect. Highly recommend. Staff are lovely
C. K.
The service here is excellent. Very attentive. The food was lovely too. We went on the Taste.ie deal which is fantastic value. I had the Sundae for dessert which was lovely. Their cocktails are fabulous too. We'll be back.
C. M.
Service and food here was excellent. I hadn't booked - so I had to wait 30 mins for table which was fine. The table had plenty of space on it and the seating was comfortable. The menu provided lots of choice and I was very happy with the steak.
I look forward to returning to try a few more dishes from the menu.
X. T.
Went there so many times over the years, great restaurant
R. Q.
Duck was amazing, and service was second to none! Steaks were great quality too
B.
Eat here recently in a group of 8.
Found the food overly priced for the quality of the food served.
I ordered wings as a starter which in fairness were nice, however the salty mushroom soup was inedible.
For the main course I amongst 2 other guests ordered the double bacon burger.
I was told that the burger would be cooked well.. however one of the two burgers patties was cremated.
The bill for 6 starters, 8 mains, 2 bottles of house red wine and 6 beers including the “optional service charge” that’s automatically incorporated into the bill €540
B. G.
We all had a wonderful experience. Good food and great service. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to visit again. Don't have a children's menu to give you but if you ask, they have four or five children's dishes.
K. F.
Food was very good, it was busy.
D. W.
We were a party if 6 who arrived just before a group of more than 20, not a problem. Our meals were served promptly and perfectly cooked. The food was outstanding and despite being super busy the staff still had time to joke with us. A really great experience, highly recommend.
T. W.
Amazing food and cocktails in very lively space. Phenomenal lamb chops and wild boar chop. The best part though was the tandoori wings for the appetizer. Would have been a 5 star, but our waitress was rude and ignored us half the time. Luckily, one of the waiters saw this and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.
Y. G.
It's okay. Staff was brilliant and the atmosphere also. I didn't really like the food. It's overpriced, regular salad ( with 4 pieces of chicken) is 16 euro and it's the cheapest you will get. The rest is going up! My husband had dish for 30euro and it was tiny. Probably wouldn't come back again.
J. B.
The lunch/brunch menu is amazing, really tasty, well priced. It's very busy at the weekends so would recommend booking a table in advance if you can! Not a fan of the dinner options however, bit pricey for the options available.
T.
Fantastic food and a great setting to eat it in. Really mixed crowd so no one should feel out of place. Good for business lunch, party or romantic meal. Service is great and I can't stress enough how good the food is. Definitely worth a visit. Would advise booking in advance. Also early bird menu is a great deal. Check it out.
S.
Great food and nice staff, but, 4* as they forgot one of the orders and we had to ask for it 3 times...
J.
Really stylish venue with amazingly kind staff, really ready to help you. Visited with a small group of friends (8 pax) for a Saturday Brunch and did not leave disappointed. Had the American Pancakes with chocolate sauce which were delicious. Personally felt like the portion was quite small for the number and thickness of the pancakes but can't complain about the taste, they were spot on! I'm looking forward to coming back!
K. D.
We phoned for a booking an hour before hand and we were accommodated, the ambience in the restaurant was very cosy, welcoming and warm. The staff were very nice and again welcoming, I only gave 3 stars as the food is very overpriced and was luke warm upon serving. We were offered a bottle of water but what we didn’t realise was that we were charged €4.50 for a bottle of water, other diners seemed to be drinking tap water but we were never made aware of this choice, a little thing I know but it does make a difference, €33 for small steak fillet and 3 very small roast potatoes, not worth the price we paid, as I said nice restaurant but I’m not sure if we would go back.
s.
Amazing staff and the food is the best! Prices are really affordable and they have an extensive wine list. We both had the best steak we've ever had! Brasserie66 is perfect for both small or larger groups and I honestly can't recommend the restaurant enough! Will be back again very soon 😄😄
A. C.
Popular venue. Great atmosphere. Great service. Good food.
Was here on November 20th. The oldfashioned cocktails were spot on. Fried squid and baked haddock were perfectly cooked and delicious. The house wine was a very drinkable Shiraz. Great meal.
A. P.
Great food, great service, fun place.
Went at Brasserie Sixty at the recommendation of our hotel's receptionist, and boy I was glad I followed her advice!
Smiley faces, prompt serving, friendly personnel, taste try before ordering.
I asked the server for the mushroom soup recipe and she came back with chef's business card to contract him directly.
Now, that's what I call going far and beyond exceeding customers' expectations.
N. T.
This place has a good value 3 course early bird - you can even swap a course for one of three pre-picked cocktails.
I skipped the starter but had the rotisserie chicken for my main. I thought it was a tad over-salted for my taste as well as it being quite a huge portion. I tried the burger as well and it is very rich - i would have probably struggled to finish this as well. I had the crumble for dessert which was off on the ratio of fruit to crumble - there was way too much crumble.
The cocktails were good if not on the sweet side. I like sweet cocktails so it was up my alley. The wait staff were very attentive before the place got busy and afterwards unfortunately as a couple, it was hard to get noticed.
This place gets very busy with very large groups including children so it does get quite loud and crowded.
Better for loud groups, not so much a place for intimate conversations or a date vibe.
A. C.
Had an incredible meal here this week: Starter goats cheese tart, fillet steak for main and the most delicious red velvet cake I have ever tasted for desert. Could not rate my experience any higher. Staff performance was impeccable and atmosphere was so lively and enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend to anyone!
M. C.
I visited with family earlier this week and having a very painful flare-up of sciatica after traveling, I was unable to sit down and didn't think I'd even be able to stay for the meal. However, Jan, our lovely waiter was unfazed by my predicament and was determined to find a solution! Bar stools, cushions, highchairs to lean against - all were offered! Eventually Jan hit on the perfect solution and brought a box with a serviette over it and placed this in front of me so I could stand with my plate at exactly the right height! :-)

Been here on a few occasions: twice with large groups and once for the Sunday brunch menu.
One of the group visits was a Christmas party and the service was appalling, drinks ordered never arrived and staff basically ignored us. It seemed like they were perhaps overbooked or understaffed. However the suckling pig (which you can only order for groups of 6 or more was excellent) .
A second group outing was outside silly season, service was better but just passable. The food was very good and it was a better experience overall.
The brunch menu is extensive, eggs Benedict and the Irish breakfast were both delicious. There's a free refill on your mimosa too if you fancy a boozy brunch! There's some live jazz keyboard playing ( although it's more jazzy versions of pop classics) the music is set up in a small section of the restaurant but played loud so it can be heard elsewhere, so if you end up sitting in that area it can be a bit much.. particularly if you're a little hungover from the night before, staff will try seat you elsewhere first from what I can tell.
Highly recommend the brunch but for the price of the dinners I think there are better options for your buck..
G. G.
Called to Saturday morning to book in for that afternoon, no problem. 3 course meal for 2 and bottle of wine, incredibly was just €50 - great value as the wine was good, the food was tasty and service was perfect. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends.
S. O.
Went there for my previous work Christmas dinner, and to be honest I thought it was overpriced. When we received our complimentary prosecco, it was flat and that was very disappointing. Overall the food was good and the atmosphere was brilliant. However at the end of our night our waiter, brought our coats to us, without us asking, in a bid to get us to leave. Although understandable because it was the busiest time of the year (we went mid December) we had just spent a lot of money and really there was no need as our organiser was already announcing our imminent departure.
T. R.
I come here regularly for brunch in the weekend. They make a great eggs benedict and have nice brunch cocktails (slightly overpriced though, in my opinion). The service is mostly quick and correct, although a bit hasty when it's busy. I would love to see a bit more creative dishes on the brunch/lunch menu. Nevertheless worth a visit!
D. H.
This place was amazing. I went here a few weeks ago after a concert with my girlfriend. We are traveling from the States, and we were very hungry at about 11PM after a night of drinking. We spent quite a long time walking around searching for a gluten free option, when I remembered reading about Brasserie 66. I have celiac disease and they have a great gluten free menu and allergen awareness and practices. We were whisked to a table straight away and had great service from two waiters. The kitchen was closing soon, but they didn't rush us and helped me make great food choices. We had amazing chicken wings and carafe of a great red wine which was recommended by our server, who had a great sense of humor. I'd definitely recommend this spot for an upscale dinner.
J. M.
Used a voucher from taste.ie but were made to feel less worthy of a table as a result. Some portions (calamari entrée) were smaller than the same plate for non-voucher using customers. Food was very good don't get me wrong, but for that price point we expected to be blown away, we were just satisfied. Cocktails are extraordinarily good
T. W.
Walk past this restaurant everyday for the past 2 years and ignored it. Recently went in for a work lunch and really enjoyed it. Well priced good quality fare and tonnes of space so always get a table. Recommend.
S. C.
Very good sirloin beef steak, served with 2 prawn, veggies and potato.
The portion was definitely not enough for me, should be cheaper for this price even considering the location.
It's a nice place with music. It's was full so noisy but not so much that I had to scream :)
K.
The food here was great thickly cut chips cooked to perfection alongside the burger and the garlic sauce was a real treat to my tastebuds, desert I got icecream with honeycomb & nuts and an interesting thinnly sliced wafer that looked homemade and it was delicious! The staff very friendly and polite, the restaurant itself has 2 bars that I could see, is well designed spacious and comfortable, I would visit this place again.
_.
The brunch menu or menu used at that time didn't have many of the ingredients listed. It was hard to tell what had dairy in it, but it turned out to be everything. The prawn & avocado salad was a glass with a few prawns in lots of cream with sour avocado in way too much lime/lemon. They did leave this of the bill though. The bread and butter pudding was very eggy, not like the traditional stuff. The service was good enough. In this day and age where other restaurants have allergens listed, they should at least note the ingredients so you don't have to have a conversation with the waiter about it and then have another think about what you can eat, if anything, and then make other people feel bad. You can quietly make your decision and be ready to give your order.
L. M.
We had a fabulous night on Saturday 14th December. Food and staff are amazing. Will certainly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Happy Christmas to all.

Very good express lunch. Got a shredded duck sandwich. It was excellent
R. H.
The burger and chunky chips where excellent, one of the best I have had, but expensive, especially for the double. It is a belly buster however so think twice about have a 3 course meal. This is one of the more upscale places to eat in the area and didn't disappoint.
L. H.
Very nice decor. Wine is good, but quite expensive compared to other places. 8 euros for a glass of Chardonnay.
Cocktail menu looks really good and their lunch deal is great! Had the mushroom tagliatelle, bit too much sauce and not enough pasta but it was delicious. Broccoli stems on top of the pasta didn't make much sense to the dish tho, could have been left out.
Had a side of the Savoy cabbage with bacon bits, would have liked a half of the cabbage grilled instead of chopped up.
All in all the flavours of the dish tops other lunch offers in the surrounding area.
b. h.
Great mains, desserts were a bit iffy (apple crumble had chewy burned sugar in it -maybe on purpose?) Staff were rude. Rushed us off the table and didn't offer us bar seats despite the tables around us being here longer. Just a bit rude.
V. N.
Fixed price dinner menu was decent. Smoked salmon app came with too much(?) bread? Catch of the day + garnish didn't go together great. They honoured free prosecco vouchers from Yelp. Tiramisu was a bit too fluffy.
m. c.
The food is great but service was lacking a bit. We didn't receive enough space and were placed too close to each other at a table which made eating a bit uncomfortable. Also, please note that the optional recommended service charge of 12,5% will already be included on the bill without questions asked
A. M.
Very welcoming staff. Great central location and wonderful atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious! Generous portions of everything. I had the stake, very nice. My husband had the chicken, also very nice.
A. N. Ó.
Visited for my Dad's birthday recently and we were blown away by the service. We were not expecting that in December! I got the monkfish as a mains, it was a treat. Dad got a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Everyone was delighted with their food and there was a buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant. We finished the night with a cocktail each. They went down too well so we had to order a second round. Yum. Couldn't have asked for a better night and Dad wants to go again next year!
N. H.
Great food, great staff, very fair price for the food quality. We were a group of over 100 and food was uniformly excellent! May have found a new city centre eatery!
T. R.
Been to Brasserie Sixty6 on loads of occasions and have never once had a bad meal. All the menu is properly marked and their specials menu have great choices. Love that you get a free meal on your Bday if you signed up to their news letter. I had the hake a few days ago and was super tasty (as usual). Make sure to try their cocktails as well!
D. O.
We had a Christmas night out here last December. The meal was wonderful. The wine was great. The service was excellent. It was as good a Christmas night out as I have ever had.
M. B.
Great place to eat..just at times the noise level is high!
Good choice on early bird and special offer menu.
Our waiter..just in from holidays was friendly and attentive...

It is nice place. But it is way too loud. It is close to impossible to have a good conversation with your friends. The food is good but over priced. A three course menu of 41 euro is too much. The value you get is not worth the money.

Love Hate
Man I want to love this place! Their brunch menu in particular is rocking and the staff are fab. The decor is okay but not over the top. The layout of chairs and tables can be a bit maximum cattle car sardine can at peak times though.
The prices are commensurate with the area and the normal menu is a little of the typical Irish restaurant of all things to all people. But some of those items are really standout... in theory. What really grinds my gears is the execution and the clumsy result of sometimes great ideas. An example was an eggs benedict which was going to be the best thing I'd eaten for breakfast all year but when it arrived, each egg had an entire stale muffin underneath (for those building their gluten tolerance maybe?) and a gigantic practically inedible slab of ham. Clumsy. It seems like someone with little culinary knowledge is interpreting dishes and sadly the results can be mixed.
The staff is grand though and make up for any shortage with their cheerful friendliness. Drinks and the bar are more of the same old same old. I keep going back and I keep being partly disappointed.

Have had lovely experiences in This restaurant over the last few years. ..up until my encounter last night. From lovely meals to popping in to Elaine and Anthony (managers) for an end of night cocktail. Last night myself and partner popped in for a cocktail before ending our night but we were met at the door by a female member of staff who told us " this is a restaurant....if you want a drink you can go next door.." before turning her back on us and walking away. Never have I been turned down for a drink at the bar before from Brasserie 66. Hopefully this is a once off and isn't the usual way of service. (My main issue was the attitude of the staff member).

Went there for a casual dinner recenly. It's one of the long established restaurants in Dublin that I somehow managed not to go to for many years. There was a set menu (reasonably priced) and a main a la carte to choose from. The a la carte menu was 99% meat based but there was a veggie menu available on request (much shorter though). I was quite surprised at the prices, shepards pie for 28E and Cod Fillet for 30E... seems a bit expensive for a brasserie type of place. Anyway, settled for a set menu and a bottle of wine. Had mushroom soup to start which was good and a very generous portion, then 1/2 rotisserie chicken for mains which came with mash and green peas. The main was dissapointing, just an ordinary rosted chicked which I thought could've spent some more time in the oven (too a bit of effort to get the meat off the bone which shouln't be the case). Skipped dessert after a large starter and a massive lump of chicken and settled for a cocktail instead (choice of 3). The cocktail was average, woudn't have it again. Overall a nice place (looks recently refurbished), ok food but overpriced and it's easy to see why the place was half empty, there are so many more exciting places in the area.

Have heard so many mixed reports of this place, I never bothered going until recently. Glad I did. Food was well presented, particularly gazpacho which came on a long wooden board with a glass bowl, jug of soup and a mini bowl of chopped cucumber. Thought it was a nice touch. It was way more pricey than we expected though, some seafood dishes coming in at 33e. Staff were a bit curt, and they weren't that busy. I'd go again but won't be rushing back.
M. S. L.
Wine was super warm (way warmer than room temp.) and it tasted pretty bad. We said and it looked like they took away all the glasses, joined the wine of different prople, cooled it for a while and brought it back!! Service took for ages but they were nice. Won't come back. Caesar salad was nice though. Stake was very nice too.
D. S.
Great food and superb atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Limited menu but something for everyone

People's experiences here have been pretty mixed, and mine have been no different. A group outing a few years ago when it just opened was pretty good – decent grill options, if I remember right – then a couple of years ago on a date where I had a bizarre raspberry jus on a steak, after which I called it a day on the place.
I only feel legitimate writing this because I visited again recently for brunch. The ingredient quality was good, the food well presented and service was fine. But the question is, could I have found better elsewhere and nearby? And the answer is yes. But I know some people swear by this place and many have had great experiences. It's possible that over the few times I've been in I've just ordered the wrong thing and since my most recent visit was a quiet brunch, I'm sure my review is far from representative.

There's not much not to love about Brasserie 66. It offers something for everyone at a range of price points meaning you can eat here on one of the set menus if dining on a budget or really splash out and treat yourself for a special occasion. This is a tried and tested favourite with friends and family alike.

The food was good, it just didn't feel too special. The service was a bit slow, and I felt too close to the next table - it was a bit too crammed. The atmosphere was good all in all, nice decorations and good location. Felt a bit over priced for the quality of food.

Good food good value great atmosphere

Having visited Dylan Mc Grath's Rustic Stone restaurant back in February, I thought I would give Brasserie Sixty6 a visit on my return to Dublin. This review is based on my one visit to date. I will review again after further visits.
Brasserie Sixty6 is very easy to find, and close to Temple Bar, The Olympia Theatre, and many pubs and hotels. It's possible to walk to it from almost any part of Dublin City centre, but if the weather is poor, maybe hop in a taxi.
I visited with my partner and her sisters. We were attending a gig that night, so we opted for the early bird menu, which had a very decent selection of food available. We were asked if we would like to sit at the window, and we did. The decor is maybe "modern-retro", giving off a kind of 20's Jazz club vibe. It is spotlessly clean.
We were dealt with very quickly, and the service was the perfect balance of attention and joviality, without seeming over-bearing. The starters were sublime. My main wasn't spectacular, but was very very good. The other mains seem to have been a level above. Their wine list is excellent.
The only drawback from the experience, was that a cooling fan near us, was pulling air in from outside the door, where people were smoking and blowing it towards us. It wasn't the end of the world, but just not to pleasant at times.
Over all, our visit was very positive, and I can't wait to go back. I'll just be sure to be seated elsewhere next time.
J. Y. M.
Food was excellent. We were quite a big party and the restaurant was super busy but the staff were very attentive. There was a good cocktail menu and those I tried were yummy.
K. D.
Wonderful food! Perfect drinks! This is definitely a nice restaurant with fancy cocktails. The area is open and modern with lite music. It well kept and has a great, friendly staff eager to suggest menu items. They offer price fixe menus as well as a la carte. We had the filet and seabass. Both were elegantly served and cooked nicely. The filet had a garlic flavor with a nice seared taste. The sea bass was pan fried with some herbal flare. The mash was a little chivey but good.
Overall, I'd recommend this lovely place and I'd recommend reservations on the weekend.
S. D.
Food was superb, got the set menu and I got steak. It was cooked beautifully! Everyone I was with was delighted with the meal and the service was very good, bit pricey for me but overall really enjoyed the meal!
C. M.
We have had several meals here, including group meals, and it is consistently good. The atmosphere is lively and the staff are attentive. The menu is extensive, better for dinner than for brunch.
M. S.
Super value for a meal. Went with my partner off a deal website voucher and found the staff very attentive and didnt treat us any different. Very busy at the time but food was of a good standard and not much hidden supplementary prices.
M. G.
Tasty food and great and kind staff
C. M.
Now I didn't get the meal my friends got and they were very satisfied... mine was just okay hence the 3 stars, it's still a recommendation. We all went for the set menu €44 it was varied and well thought out.
F. K.
We had an enjoyable meal, staff quick, efficient and affable. Empty plates from all so the food was great too. Wine a bit pricey. I would recommend it.
G. P.
Nice place for an informal meal. Staff very accommodating and friendly, couldn't believe how quickly the place filled up, so very popular!!! Would have gotten the extra star accept the menu was a bit restricted....
J. M.
I always make it a point to treat my mom on the rare occasion we get to see each other, and Sixty6 made the night utterly perfect. From the moment they greeted us at the door, to the ambiance the servers set, and ultimately culminating in the food that was served, everything was divine! So grateful to Chef for accommodating my (surely) petty requests regarding the mains.
R. G.
Had team night out at Brasserie sixty6 - food was delicious! We have surprised staff arriving on a short notice but service was still excellent. Food first class and very nice drinks too. Highly recommended
P. P.
Really nice place! Group of 11 people and we all been served perfectly(very nice staff) We all had so delicious food for really good price. Great atmosphere ! Highly recommended ! We will be back Thank you Elaine for looking after us !
C. S.
I had a pleasant experience for a first timer.
Service staff friendly! My dinner was Fabulous and Filling! When I return it's one my list to visit again.
N. L.
Great cocktails helpful staff members. Food was slightly on the modern side with aloght amounts. Excellent vegetarian menu. One of the recommended places in Dublin, however mind the price gap!
E. G.
Had a family gathering from around the world with different culinary likes abd dislikes!!! The menu catered for most of these but for those that weren't, we're catered for by the waiting/kitchen staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience 👍😆
G. M.
Really nice food, especially the crab salad with avocado mousse it's delish. I've been there twice. There espresso martini is one of the best I've ever tried and I've tried my share fare!!!!
R. B.
Pretty average for a pricey meal. Good service all round and a nice place inside but a bit disappointed with the food overall. Group of 6 and we all felt the same. Dublin prices for average grub
M. M.
It's been ages since I was here and I've definitely been missing out! The first thing I noticed on entering was actually how massive this place is, it just goes on and on towards the back! That being said we had our own little section for the 50th birthday I was attending and so it was quiet and cosy! The food was top notch starting with a delicious caesar salad. My main of lamb cutlets were perfectly cooked but there were only two of them :-( They came with a polenta shepherds pie and that went some way to making up for the two small cutlets. I enjoyed the ambience, decor and we were well taken care of. This place is definitely back on my favourite list again!
J. T.
Had a fantastic evening meal in there over the bank holiday weekend, Brasserie Sixty6 restaurant Dublin has some new dishes on the restaurant menu now from last time. and a dessert menu to die for. This Dublin City Restaurant is always busy every time we visit, and the party restaurant atmosphere is funny and interesting to watch in full swing. The Dublin Restaurant staff at Brasserie 66 were very helpful with explaining what was on the new restaurant menu choices and we had a good experience as usual. If only all Dublin restaurants could be so stylish as this one.
S. F.
Decent food, average service, I'd say it is perfect for a girl's night out. I'm not a girl and a lad's night out is more about cheap beer and decent music, this is more cool for the cocktails and ornate food.
E. J.
Such great spot for brunch. The atmosphere was spot on and the staff were extremely nice. It is a little on the pricey side.
P. W.
30 of us descended on Brasserie Sixty6 at short notice on a very busy night and were fantastically well fed and looked after the whole night.
My tiger prawn starter was lovely but the pork roll main was sensational. A huge portion too. Didn't get to try a desert sadly.
T. K.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to keep our booking despite being incredibly late. My Caesar salad was huge, too.
D. R.
Decent food, limited vegan options, service was grand, but treated vegan customers as an inconvenience/ second class customers recieving treatment verging on rude. Not the sort of place to bring people with a diet that strays from the "norm"
C. O.
Nice setting, pleasant staff, nice selection food which has been delicious each time o have visited. On top of that, extremely good value deal at lunch with good options and nice wine selection.
A. O.
Me and my girlfriend went here for my 22nd birthday she is a vegetarian and she had a full menu to choose from which is a pleasent change from normal, although I had the fillet of beef and I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I've ever endulged
K. K.
Nice place. Dropped in twice, once without reservation and we were pleased both times. One thing is it's quite tight on space as it gets so busy so it's not a quiet place 😁 but a bit of banter never hurt anyone
E. B.
This place is the ulitmate group dining venue. There is a share starter option for 6 people which is devine! The food is great, the atmosphere is great, for groups i would highly recommend, for couples, not so much. I could never see anybody proposing here!
N. A.
Service was good, however the wine and belinis were quite poor. Food generally average but the peanut butter mousse was a nice finish. Pleasant evening but nothing spectacular.
M. K.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Never had a bad meal here. Definitely recommend for a good dinner in the city centre, you won't be disappointed.
S. O.
Visited this place 3 or 4 time over the past few years. Always consistently good food. Staff are very accommodating for a busy city centre restaurant like this.
D. W.
Most excellent food and atmosphere. I was dining on a set menu and there was only one item that wasn't Gluten Free or Gluten Free Adaptable. Kudos. It was good to have a choice.
J. K.
Great atmosphere and food. The decor is amazing and the desert was...amazing
L. G.
Have been to this place to a good few times, like it for dates etc with the twinkly lights! Also like that they do random special meals like a lobster dinner for two that was amazing. Will probably go back once I have been to a few other places in the meantime!
J. W.
Nice place for a big brunch, with typical fare. The meal was good, but not exceptional. They sometimes have a jazz guitarist playing, too.
R. R.
Had a lovely meal for my daughter's graduation. Food lovely staff very attentive. Really nice place will definitely be going back.
R. W.
Nice restaurant in the heart of Dublin city. Something for everyone here - vegetarian menu, rotisserie meats and a whole lot more. Great for Sunday lunch an brunch with jazz early on Sunday
C. H.
Good selection on the menu and well priced. The staff are very friendly but run off their feet. Good place for small Christmas parties.
S. C.
Great food, welcoming and friendly staff, busy but we were seated immediately. We were allowed to take our time, unrushed. We'll be back.
H. K.
Really lovely lunch. Very good value. We had hake and it was delicious, cooked better then a lot of more expensive restaurants we have eaten in.
E. M.
Brasserie Sixty6 has it all: an interesting food and wine menu, an attentive waiting staff, a lovely decor and a really nice ambient music.
Yes, we like coming back!
N. D.
One of my favourite places in Dublin, staff always friendly, good customer service, the food is really tasty ( especially mushroom soup, well worth a try) and the pre theatre menu is very good value (3 courses for 27.99).
P. W.
Just had a beef cheek sandwich and probably the nicest I’ve tasted I will be back 👍🏻👍🏻
p. f.
Good service and selection. Got the duck and wife got half chicken. Looked good on plate, but both lacking in flavor... especially for price
P. B.
Nice but noisy place with a good menu. Food was good but not spectacular with medium sized portions and a bit expensive especially drinks. Nice restaurant but better value nearby
M. B.
The best place in Dublin. A part of the food which is very tasty and always cooked to your needs, the staff and managment are lovely and proffesional. If you want great experience and a nice athmosphere and surroundings go there and i promise you will come back. highly recommended. well done Brasserie Sixty6!

J. R.
Really great food and atmosphere. One of the best places I ate in Dublin. I would call it a must go if you are hungry after all of those pints.
D. S.
Great food and service, everything served with a unique Sixty6 way, Sunday brunch with live Jazz is especially great!! The specials and members deals are things to take advantage of as they are great value and quality!
N. N.
My go-to lunch restaurant ever since I broke my leg. Completely wheelchair accessible, and no problems with gluten free alternatives when necessary
S. O.
Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food is always fresh and delicious. It's a regular food stop for our little family.
J. M.
Service prompt and pleasant. .quality beautiful. .price good ..would definitely go again. We already booked when leaving. .yes would recommend to friends. .thank you for lovely evening. .
A. P.
The place have changed a lot from the last time I was there. Don't think the design change is the best to be honest. It reminds me of cafeteria. The food was really good tho
E. F.
Food was good, service was a bit slow and it took a lot of effort to get the staff's attention, but they were busy and had a private party as well as a full house
M. S.
Very good restaurant for lunch or dinner, the menu is relatively short but good quality and size and waiters were great, nice and always ready to help.
M. M.
Nice place for brunch. Tasty options. Great menu choice. Good location in city centre.
G.
The food was nice portions very large but very small selection on the menu to choose from. Expected more after seeing there menu online.
Y. K.

Delicious vegetarian menu with multiple options(unlike most resteurants) attentive staff and good drinks too! Reasonable price for what you get
S. B.
Excellent food, very nice staff. But the place is very noisy. People talk too loud, I felt unconfortable. Prices are a bit too high.
G. C.
Great cocktails and ambiance.
R. Z.

Aside from their expansive vegetarian option, the service is exceptional and Maria our server was a dream. You want to be friends with them they are all so fantastic.
A. N.
One of my favourite restaurants in dublin near temple bar. Nearby to stephens green also. Great steak dinner and seafood restaurant in city centre. Top cocktails and best service.
R. S.
The seafood platter is amazing, great value for the quality/quantity!atmosphere a bit noisy due to all group dinners, but still enjoyable!nice wine's list as well!
J. H.
They made great effort to accommodate us in a quiet area of the restaurant and provided a high chair and nice atmosphere for our baby init
F. G.
I usually love this place, but last time I went it just was not as good in relation to food and unfortunately staff (were not as friendly). Maybe it was just a bad day, maybe not
J. O.
Service was excellent really enjoyed the food caesar salad and house burger was delicious. Great attentive staff
A. T.
Nice portions, very lovely and accommodating staff, drinks are decently priced and the vibe in there is superb with nice dimmed lights.
S. R.
Food not as good as it used to be but service was excellent... chef needs to step it up...
L. B.
+ Decor is nice
+ Food is Good (but expensive for what it is)
- Waited 45 minutes for a reserved table
- Got a table for 8 for a reservation for 9 people
- Restaurant was very crowded and staff overwhelmed: no time for good service.
- Very very noisy
J. C.
For brunches: recommend the lady toast with cheese, ham and egg. Plus: the staff is nice and the lady who attended us was very attentive.

A. P.
Delicious non pretentious lunch menu and good value. Lovely surroundings
M. D.
Service was mediocre, it was lunch-time and they weren't business but I felt they were very laid back. I was sitting starring at my salad and rest of the partys food on the pass for about 10 minutes.
B. K.
The main ingredient of a tabbouleh is parsley. Yours consists of couscous. Otherwise, pretty decent food.. Standard brunch menu.
A. B.
