Reviews of Catch-22
This is a fantastic place for a hearty meal in Dublin. My wife had the shellfish bowl and it was absolutely brimming with all kinds of food. My burger was excellent (if HUGE) and the staff were attentive and really excellent. Yum!
The food was fresh and tasty, staff was friendly and the place is beautiful and cosy. Decoration and the pictures on the walls are amazing. The only thing I disliked was the fact that we ordered 6 oysters, mussels with fries, scampi and seafood chowder for 2 people, and they brought everything at the same time; so by the time we finished with the seafood, the hot food was a little bit cold. They should think about this or ask the client if they want starters first and then the rest or all together. But it was also our fault because we didn't say it. Seafood chowder can be improved, I found it quite watery and very similar to the mussels sauce. But in general I loved the meal and the place and I will definitely be back.
The seafood are on point! The oysters serves are all so big and yummy, we also had scampi there which isss also big and delicious! Not forgetting the catch of the day, oh so good! The staff are all so friendly :D and also I love the environment in this restaurant. Totally recommend this place!
Such a nice restaurant. The staff was very lovely. The scampi was delicious and it seemed very fresh. Had a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend.
Excellent food. Prawns in a (what I would call) red Thai mildly spicy curry was succulent. The fresh cod and ship was simply one of the best I ever had. Bravo to the Catch-22. We would however recommend to the staff to be more "guest oriented" as they seemed a little over loaded. Thank you for this great experience, we will definitely be back!!
This restaurant is surely one of the best in Dublin and you should try it! The food is excellent, really nice cooked, also the desserts were delicious! The staff is very friendly, it treated us like real guests, there is no complain at all!!! Everything was perfect!!! I'm surely visiting you guys again the next time I'll come to Dublin :)
This is a lovely restaurant in Dublin! Great atmosphere! The patio was full so I ate upstairs, but it was a super cute space. They have Orchard Thieves on draft which I am always happy with. Their seafood chowder was solid, though not the best I’ve ever had. Same for their fish n chips. Overall, really good food in a cute space. My meal order did get lost, but they were very nice about it and I wasn’t in a rush, so no worries.
Really enjoyed my fish and chips from Catch22....everything tasted fresh and the tartare sauce was amazing!
Fish was very good. I had the sea trout and my wife had the hake. Both cooked well and quite delicious. They were short-handed so the wait to take our order was quite long but everything else was good. Reasonable prices. Would go again.
The place is very crowded, but the taste outshines everything. Loved the service and the speciality on the waiter's advice
Delicious fish and great cocktails! The outdoor seating is super cute and the indoor bar has some great atmosphere. We got the smoked haddock salad and the sea bass entree and were blown away by how tasty both were. We also got complimentary chips for the table. The spring spritz cocktail was super refreshing, I would get it again!
Great affordable seafood restaurant. We were lucky to get a table without reservation. The food was great. Our favourite was the baked trout and the shellfish pot.
Big seafood selection and beers on tap. This places serves food throughout the day which is nice for those busy shopping looking for a good late lunch spot. I tried the Hake which was really well done and prepared. Cozy interior and friendly staff made an enjoyable experience
Food was good, not great. We had Fish & Chips, but the batter really wasn't crispy, actually a bit soggy, but did taste good. Service was really good though.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE restaurant! Came here on our first meal in Ireland and enjoyed the most delicious mussels I've ever had! Get extra break because the cream sauce is incredible!! We enjoyed the trout and risotto special and the fish pie! You CAN'T go wrong here! I'm from Texas and we will be back before we leave for the mussels!!
Really good atmosphere, friendly staff and cozy decor. I'd highly recommend it, we went back twice within our weekend visit in Dublin. Tasty and affordable menu, we got the mussel pot and fish burgers along with some calamari. It was a lovely meal and would definitely return.
Been there multiple times, but first time since restaurants reopened after lockdown, and must say, staff were nice, just kept forgetting our drinks, food, even the bill. Food as always, amazing!
Tasty food, nice service and amazing experience. I highly recommend Herb Crusted Hake. If you love fish, you must stop by to this place! It serves it's name well, inevitable place to try out.
Very very good food, excellent beers and impressive service. This may sound as if the check will be bulky but it's not.
Stopped by for late lunch today. Very fresh, simple and delicious food. The servers were super friendly too. I'd recommend it and come back here too. Excellent music selection ;)
Catch 22 has a new location, but the same great food. My personal favourite is the fish pie. The best of fresh fish in a creamy sauce, with a golden roasted topping of mash. Delicious!
The price is very reasonable and the service is prompt. They serve a range of craft beers if that's your thing.
Well worth a visit if you're looking to taste the best of fresh Irish fish.
Very nice place! The seafood was very good and the service was ok, they were very busy, so we didn't see to much of them. December though, so I will not hold that against them.
Best food we had in Ireland! Amazing staff. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant!!
Perfekt service. Really really perfect, above all expectations. Tasters when unsure what to get, reseating to outdoor as soon something became available. Great food, great plating, excellent drink selection. Minor nitpick: The chef shouldn't use flour to bind the sauce for the mussels and cream. Never seen that before and it imparts a bit of graininess to the optic of the sauce. Not noticeable on the palate though.
We had a great time there. Food was nice and staff was lovely specially Eric & Adam ( I think those were their names🤣)
Nice spot for good choice of fresh seafood. Small but bright. Great service. Good size portions. If going with a group ask for a sit down place.
A quirky place with fantastic service. We originally went there for fish, but ordered a great salad and potatoes along with fish pie. Everything was delicious and the salad simply perfect.
They have new menu which does not include any crab claws dish.... Shame, they were really delicious. But all in all food was good..... But little expensive.
Delicious chowder at a good price. Even received some complimentary deep fried sardines. Service was very friendly.
My wife and I came and ate here while on vacation a couple of weeks ago. We really loved it. The flavors were really excellent. I really enjoyed my hake dish and the seafood chowder was very good. We were treated well by everyone there and were able to get in and get seated very quickly.
We liked it all so much that we came back a couple of nights later for dinner as well. Again, we were able to get in quickly even without a reservation. The food on the second night did not disappoint either. Everything that we ate on the menu was full of flavor and unique.
I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great seafood dinner in Dublin!
Everything is extremely fresh and flavorful. We had oysters, shrimp, and mussels. Loved it all!
The Tuna Fish, Hake and Mackrel were amazing!!! I recommend this restaurant!!!
The staff is very nice specially Luka!
Also Patricia was very friendly!!
Really good food, fish and seafood are fresh and you can notice it in the flavour of the dishes. Great service and I’m going back for sure
Good food and excellent service. Will certainly recommend.
Very nice fish and chips. And very nice fish pie. It is normally very busy around lunch time. Great atmosphere.
We ordered breaded calamari & also Scampi box. It was really nice! The chips were OK... I wish there was two lemon slices instead of 1. Also the batter mix for calamari was too salty & think it was so difficult to taste the calamari & thats why I'm giving 4 star.. the scampi was definitely a 5 star but the calamari was lacking & id give it a 3 star.. so 4 in total :)
Food was very good menu slightly small
Food was outstanding, staff was friendly. Glad to have stumbled upon this place after checking out the museum. Would absolutely return next time I'm in Dublin.
Loved the place and the food! Very good meals for reasonable prices. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff.
General : Good overall, I would eat there again.
Food : delicious. Most of their main dishes are tasty and cooked perfectly. Our table got the dishes about 25 min after ordering.
Staff : Very very friendly and patient staff
Price : Not cheap. Is it worth what you get ? I think it is. It isn't unreasonably expensive but it is not cheap.
Other: Clean, cozy, comfortable.
Enjoy
Simply wonderful.
Fresh seafood, delicious chowder, and real fish fish & chip.
The restaurant was busy on a Thursday night, and they cautioned us that receiving our orders could take a while. Drinks came out promptly and food was delivered faster than expected. The Asian-style prawns with lemongrass were very flavorful and the sauce was worth scooping up with bread. We also shared the seafood bowl, which was a huge meal for one but great shared. The servers were friendly and had a good attitude although they were really busy. Overall a very good experience.
Good food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Recommended.
The food was top notch, loved it. The decor and added Christmas decorations were lovely and tasteful. However the lack of waiting staff made waiting a new sport. 45 minutes waiting on a starter, is a little crazy. Not so long a wait on the main course thankfully. Our server was run off his feet, clearing, serving, taking orders of drinks and food, ringing in the bills. He kept smiling and was so helpful. I never got his name, but the lad deserves a raise. I did notice some girls working the bar area downstairs. A couple of times they ventured upstairs with food and drinks ,I am presuming they were busy downstairs as they didn't rush to help our guy working upstairs. It was a shame about the waiting time, it put a little bit of a stain on the day. We had heard about this place from friends and as my daughter loves seafood and it was her birthday, my partner and I wanted to treat her. I would eat here again and I really hope they get more staff. I also hope they don't lose the young man that worked upstairs the night of the 27/12/18, good staff are hard to find.
Very friendly staff and fresh delicious food. They have a pretty decent selection of craft beer
This restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants in Dublin. The best mussel pot and golden scampi in town!
This was the best fish and chips of our Ireland trip! My youngest also enjoyed her bangers and mash. The seafood theme with chalkboard walls was spot on without being too over the top. The wait staff were quick and friendly even on St. Patrick's day when the place was overflowing. The seating can be a little cozy, but wasn't too close.
Great dishes! Friendly stuff. Very recommended.
We were visiting Dublin for a few nights and a friend brought us to this restaurant. Food all seemed fresh and lots of great options. The chef was able to comply a few gluten free requests as well. We made reservations for a Saturday night but it looked as if you walk in and still get a table.
Nice one, very quick service, nice staff.. had drinks, after-work escape, terrace, inside, upper floor, u name it they have it. All the best! :)
Nice food, good beers and good selection of beers. Food prices are reasonable given the quality of them. The beer prices are within the range of similar pubs in the area, but they are all still too high either way. You can expect to pay between €6-€6.50 per pint here. Atmosphere is good though and they do have outside heaters for sitting outside. Staff were very friendly too.
Catch 22 deserves more reviews on google! Great spot with great food and people.
Food: 4/5
My girlfriend and I came in looking for fish and chips but ended up ordering something entirely different. I went with the Atlantic halibut while the lady had an order of the chowder and calamari (technically two appetizers).
The halibut was so delicious, flavored with butter and lemon. The portion was very generous (three fillets) and came with a side of fries which were crispy. Definitely our favorite!
As for the other two dishes.. Chowder wasn't as thick as I'm used to but had a variety of seafood in it and was good. Calamari was not the best, especially when it got cold. My girlfriend liked it a lot but she's a sucker for anything calamari related. I would suggest that you simply order something else.
Service: 5/5
The waiters and waitresses would not stop filling up my glass of water. I would say I had about 10 refills! Whenever they saw that my cup was half full, they would refill it. Now don't get me wrong -- I'm not complaining. The staff is really attentive.
Great location , fab sunny terrace and good food
Really loved the food here. We had crusted hake, a traditional smoked fish (friend) burger, and an excellent craft red ale. Sitting outside puts you right in the heart of the energy around Grafton St but plenty of tables available inside.
Amazing staff, amazing location and most importantly, amazing food! I would highly recommend this place for lunch or evening dinner. It is also extremely reasonably priced and is very child friendly. I especially love the fact that all lunch sandwich options come with a small bowl of sea food chowder! I will definitely be back here.
From the moment we entered we knew it was great. The waitress was super friendly, the complimentary and tasty tiny fried fish came quickly.
The special dish and the pesto hake fish were precise and the fries and salad were lovely.
Highly recommended!
Good seafood restaurant with other choices too. My brother dined with me and found the staff to be very tuned in to the whole gluten free side of things and was delighted to be able to have fish and chips, a rare treat for a coeliac. I found the chowder very tasty but wouldn't have said no to one more slice of smoked salmon on my open sandwich, which was delicious but a bit paltry at one slice
Good service, good drinks, free WiFi. Would happily go again. Decent music as well. It was St. Patrick's Day and we got a spot easily but at the same time it was lively. Loved it. Check out their beer selection!
Very nice casual seafood place. They say they don't take reservations but when we arrived said they were full. However they took our number and called us back within 15 minutes or so. The food is really nice, there's a complementary starter of whitebait which is a nice appetiser. The main course of herb crusted Hake was amazing, a huge portion and cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries were also yum and again a big portion, I left stuffed. Service was good too.
Best value for money fish restaurant in Dublin so far. Nice ambience, very friendly service. Some great fish dishes and free complimentary little sardine like anchovies like but slightly different grilled little fishies with a nice dip. Not the most exclusive selection of fish dishes, but what's served is very well prepared. Highly recommended for some casual dining
I've been twice and each time the seafood was wonderful, whether a haddock and avocado salad or just sweet potato fries, the food was lovely.
The staff were really friendly and chatty and I felt very warm and valued afterwards.
Inexpensive I will return again and again.
Absolutely fantastic food, I have been a few times now and have yet to receive anything but first class service. A grand soft day IPA is a great choice for any meal from the carrig brewery out west. The location is ideal but yet out of the way enough for some privacy and cosy atmosphere.
Catch 22 has a new location, but the same great food. My personal favourite is the fish pie. The best of fresh fish in a creamy sauce, with a golden roasted topping of mash. Delicious!
Very enjoyable evening meal on our final night in Dublin. The starters of fish cakes & calimari were fantastic! Mains of the hand battered fish & chips and the steamed shellfish went down well! The handbattered fish was a little too watery inside the batter for my liking but still very tasty. The male waiter who served us for the evening was so helpful not just with us but noticing other customers needs and doing his best to clear tables quickly and take orders. He mentioned it was his first day and thoroughly deserved a tip, just wish we could have justified leaving more for him.
From Oysters to seafood chowder and everything in between the food was excellent. Fresh and delicious the staff is also super awesome. A nice heated patio. A great place for a meal and a few pints.
It seems Catch22 has been maintaining Non-standard hours of operation which aren't documented anywhere. However their full menu can be ordered from the attached and affiliated Bar Rua. Unfortunately the service at Bar Rua was lack luster, we were the only table in the dining room and we found ourselves waiting a lot to even see staff during our entire experience. I don't know if this is representative of Catch 22's service, but having your brand carried out by another establishment and their lack luster service does lead to a bit of brand dilution. Food was solid though.
Fantastic seafood, great staff. Lovely restaurant.
Ordered mussels in cream sauce, which was as it should be followed by crusted hake, which was super and served with a top notch salad verde. I'm not a real salad lover, but this one was something else. Service was pleasant and professional.
I don't know how we have missed this place for so long but this was a super meal!! the place was very full and we were fortunate to get a table straight away service was excellent and the food itself was superb.
It is a lovely place to visit for drinks and excellent seafood
To be honest, I would rate the restaurant 4- if we did not go to the better see food restaurant the day before. The crew was friendly but helpless - all ingredients we asked to exclude due to allergy were in our food. Table was dirty. Bread was of poor quality. Food did not look tasty - as it was overcooked (all comparing to the restaurant we went before (no names to avoid hidden advertising)).
This place is 'simply' great. It's an informal seafood place, very easy going vibe and the fish is prepared simple, but just very good and fairly priced as well, ~13-14€ for a main.
Took the crab claws as a starter, quite big and good chili garlic oil dressing.
Mackerel good, and the shellfish pot delicious.
Absolutely loved our meal here. Great value for money, huge portions and most importantly the food tastes great! Service is quick and efficient and all servers were friendly. Cup of mackerel while waiting for meals was a lovely touch.
Herb crusted hake was delicious. Friendly staff. Nice music in the background. I gave 4 and not 5 because the atmosphere there is missing and we sat outside and our table was on a slope.
Excellent. Went there three times during my visit to Dublin, each time better than the last. The prices are reasonable, menu great and the service fantastic. I could not recommend this place any more.
Try the chowder, it's extremely good.
Very good Ciabatta‘s and a good Service! Cozy music. Nice to sit outside.
This is a really nice place for some casual fish and chips in a more upmarket environment.
The menu is simple and straight forward, the food however is beautiful.
Will be going back here again many times I think in the future
The shellfish pot is great. So many mussels in a delicious broth with just the right amount of kick. Oysters are thicker than the fog off the coast!
Good food at a reasonable price, serving staff friendly and helpful. Big downside is the waiting for main courses. In my case 25 minutes after finishing starter course. Would be 4 stars if they got their act together.
over priced, but waiters are very nice abd nice place. I found the fish to be too spicy /hot killing the taste of the food that was supposed to be fresh. A kind of dish I'm supposed to have at an Indian restaurant, this was disappointing to me and my friend, we barely eat it all.
Would totally recommend Catch 22 for great fish & chips! Always cooked to perfection & generous portion sizes. staff are always very pleasant & I keep going back time & time again.
Nice food, a bit weird they had two menu's, one with prices and one without. We enjoyed our dinner there!
Center city great seafood. Really loved the chowder, great service, affordable prices even though in the center. Would recommend the place for every one in Dublin! Don't think twice, just go for it!
Nice cozy restaurant for seafood ! Fresh and delicious!
Great traditional food selection!
They don't take reservations, so you might have to wait a while for a table (fortunately there's a lovely wine bar downstairs). The menu is fairly simple but the food is very well done.
Loved everything about it, food to die for❤️❤️❤️
Loved it. Cosy, calm atmosphere. Delicious Daily Special and very friendly service. Great to just go one step down for a drink & live music afterwars in the Bar Rua.
Not my first time. Fish and mussels are a must have. Great attitude. Don't miss the chowder. I'm returning again when downtown Dublin.
I do not like fish and usally would not gone there but damn that Fish Burger got me and it was not much expensive. There is only one complaint the unusual paying system was a bit confusing. But all in all great restaurant.
Nice seafood, great seating outdoors, super nice staff, and an above average beer selection.
I spent an hour trying to get here and it was worth it!
Cannot praise this place enough, the food is excellent for the price and the staff attentive without being overbearing. They do not take reservations, so may be a wait for seats - fortunately there is a good wine bar next door.
Great food! (Calamari and sweet potato fries). Mussels were also a huge hit. Atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.
Nice place. Lovely staff. For me seating outside is part of the restaurant and should not be part of a smoking area. No smoking where food is served. Food itself was nice. Little bit expensive. Sorry not a place for me.
The fish pie was good and the serving of mussels was very generous. While I have no major complaints, it didn't wow me.
Service, Food Quality, Experience --- it's all there. If you love seafood don't miss trying this place out!
Side note: Amazing branding. I'm in marketing and I was taking notes.
Great food, huge portions, nice unique craft beer and wonderful service. And the prices are more than decent. Can't recommend more!
Absolutely loved everything about the restaurant : great location, great premises, very good food, very trendy and to perfect service. A place to watch for all seafood lovers!
Had a huge pot of mussels, lobster claws and other juicy bits of seafood dripping with loveliness. Absolutely recommended!
Great meal and very kid friendly.
Food was quite good, and the place looks clean and inviting. It took awhile to get our order, but the staff handled it well.
A treasure in the heart of Dublin. Fresh seafood. Sandra has a fantastic friendly efficient team. 6 stars if I could give them.
Very good
Top food. Mussle pot and golden scrimps.
Food and service were excellent. I would recommend it any day of the week.
Amazing smell of fresh fish. Had a few pints there. Very nice, totally go back again evenin can.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great. Good place for lunch. Close to both Grafton Street and Georges Street
Great seafood, nice casual setting, if a little expensive, although portions are generous so you do get what you pay for
Fresh and delicious seafood, super friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, clean and very reasonable prices. Ticks all the right boxes. Would recommend!
Good seafood attached to a pub with a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic spot for an easy meal and a few nice drinks.
Let me just start by saying this place deserves six stars. It is seldom I am so impressed! What a amazing place! I wish I lived here and if I did you would know where to find me.
Wonderful food off a menu for seafood lovers in a relaxed environment with lovely staff.
Food was decent, though waited 20 minutes for the bill, the waitress thoroughly ignoring us.
Delicious Seafood and a very friendly accommodating staff expertly handled a boutrous group of 16 people.
I hd a good experience the seafood chowder was very yummy, and the fish was very fresh as well
Nice place, good food
Th chowder was the best I've tried in Dublin.
I don't understand people who are expecting Vegan options in the seafood restaurant
Staff are great and the food is very good if not the healthiest. Highly recommend the calamari starter.
Lovely little restaurant with great service and even greater fish dishes. Totally worth a visit!
Awesome Seafood. Their specialty are mussels, but they have a limited amount of them. So be early to get some.
Excellent seafood, excellent service. Lovely atmosphere.
Well recommended for a meal in Dublin.
Great seafood. Combining restaurant with bar is a bit offputting, and more restaurant staff needed! I'll be back for the food.
Great lunch deal pricing. Fish pie and sweet potato fries highly recommended!
Great food. My favourite seafood restaurant in Dublin city.
Food was lovely and very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful
Good drinks, cute outside sitting area, mediocre food. We tried calamaris and they were dry and chewy
Very nice atmosphere but very heavy dishes... almost everything that is not a salad it's fried.
Best fish in town salads delightful yummy fries and burgers.
Love it the food is so reasonable and delicious...the staff are so nice and its a really cosy spot!
Beautiful hidden gem with terrific seafood. Friendly staff and great tunes.
Being here for the seafood chowder, which was good! Very kind personnel and affordable prices!
The creamy fish chowder here was wonderful as were the mussels. Friendly service.
Food nice - a little overpriced - lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great sea food, great staff, smooth tasting coffee, put it on your list!
Ripper meal. Had the chowder and chicken sandwich. Easy and fast. Good spot. Cute outside
Nice atmosphere. Food was lovely. Staff very friendly.
The food was great atmosphere and staff also top notch well be back soon
Fish was good but wouldn't have the calamari again - way too well done.
Great fish and chips at reasonable (proper restaurant) prices. And free whitebait!
amazing fresh seafood absolutely exceeded are expectations can't wait to come back
Lovely relaxed pub with food. Friendly staff. Perfect friday night.
Lovely ambiance, good food, great service. What more can you ask for?
Pretty good seafood selection here. Good service and portions.
Loved the place! Beautiful food and the nicest staff!
Really good fish and seafood. Great service too.
Delicious fish dishes, friendly staff, not too expensive
Good food, although I waiting long periods of time to be served.
Very good food for a low price. 10 euro for all meals like for example fish and chips
Friendly, fast and efficient service, good value for money. Good feel to the place.
Food is good, staff are nice. But the ambiance isn’t the best.
Great tasting food and friendly, helpful staff
Great food, service and beer! Will be back!
Nice atmosphere in this Restaurant, the Fish and chips worth a try
Lovely staff nice and relaxing environment and yummy food :)
Absolutely gorgeous food with great staff.
Great seafood restaurant. Try the seafood chorizo stew. Best thing on the menus.
Food was lovely and the staff but not very comfortable seating. It's more like a cafe than a restaurant.
Didn't have sea food but it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time
Quality is not as good as it used to be. Quite disappointed as it used to be so good before.
Delicious food, especially irish pie and crab claws!
Good fish restaurant in the city centre.....and the Guinness was good as well!
Delicious food, especially crab claw and irish pie.
Very small restaurant. Very simple style, the food was good and the price is reasonable.
Good food and wine!
Service was a little slow but the food is good.
Great food and good beer, excellent service
Amazing value lunch menu and always great quality
The best food in the city center! Never disappoints!!!
Lovely place but it's a bit to dark need a bit more light
Shellfish pot is delicious here! Would definitely recommend.
Modern decor excellent sea food great craft beers .
Food is good but seating arrangements are not the best
Great fishfood, good beers! Try the fish burger!
Fantastic value lunch for 10 euro and good food.
A really good option if you are too tired of the traditional Irish food.
Beautiful eatery at the centre of Dublin. Nice Seafoods
Awesome place. Amazing food and good atmosphere.
Bustling lively seafood spot. Nice vibe feels like a chain which of course it is!
Delicious food, great service and lovely wine
It used to be a good place to eat in Dublin but the last time was a disappointment

Good quality of food and very good attention from the waiters (especially an Argentinian guy). Reasonable price. To say something negative, a lot of noise since there were a lot of people.
Great bar. Delicious soup :) and beer
If you're expecting a typical Irish place, you're there.
Excellent beers, spacious venue.
We enjoyed some tasty local dishes from fish and chips to fish soup at an acceptable price.
A wonderful place if you like to eat seafood. The restaurant is on the top floor, because the bar and its accessories downstairs, so go upstairs is better for families.. The food was delicious, impressive, and wonderful, and it did not have the well-known smell of fish, but it was very delicious. I strongly recommend it.. and they have a menu for young children.
First stay in Dublin and a stop at catch 22. Good surprise. We had a smoked fish burger, a trout cassoulet, a herb-crusted cod, and a chicken burger. Everything was very good and the service too. Thanks to the team. 2 couples of friends.
We had dinner at catch-22 and were pleasantly surprised. The place is really small and they have an almost entirely fish menu. We got the Fish Pot and the Catch22 fish. Both very good! The first is a small saucepan full of mussels, clams, prawns, prawns and crab claws in a slightly spicy sauce. The second course is fresh and smoked fish in a toritino of puree gratinated with cheese. Absolutely recommended for fish lovers. Friendly staff attentive to your needs.
excellent chunky chowder. the dishes are in the €22-35 range, but they are worth it.
Why don't Dublin pubs have menus everywhere? The fish and chips and the chef's pie of the day menu here were excellent.
Great option to eat at a good price and with very good quality.
It is essential to try their mussels, as well as the fish cake or squid.
Very well attended, it is better to book because we saw that the place is very popular.
The desserts are also delicious although they are fair in variety.
Fish restaurant and bar in the Dublin gastro district. You will not only find tourists there but also Irish people. The fish and seafood are fresh, the service is friendly and fast, and the prices are reasonably low. It tasted good, again at any time.
Fast, courteous, satisfied with what we ate

It is a very nice place, good warm-price ratio. Everything was very good, especially the chowder soup. They treated us great and it is a central location with affordable prices. Advisable.
We had been looking for a place in the center where we could eat good fish at affordable prices for a long time! The place is small but welcoming, the staff is very kind and the fish is fresh! Must try!
Delicious fish dishes! The drinks menu is also very good. I highly recommend this address.
Excellent oysters, grumpy waitresses!!! The special dish was very much to be desired...
Very good shellfish dishes in a pub atmosphere with live music. A very pleasant moment
Excellent fresh fish dishes, a nice modern and clean place. Excellent service, ok prices.
The food is of good quality, the service attitude is good, and the environment and place are comfortable
Nothing special. We decided to stop at this place based on no reviews. Fairly high prices for average quality.
Very nice location. Excellent food, especially fish!
Great food, very good service...You feel comfortable...
Very good. Fresh products. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Brilliant photo decoration!
Mainly fish cuisine. A little too messy to our taste.
