I had been waiting for so long to visit Cosmos and it did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The choice of foods is great. Sushi was delicious and fresh. The Teppanyaki cooked in front of you was one of the highlights . Great value for money and I will be back as soon as possible. Highly recommend

Superb variety of dishes, ranging from Indian, Chinese, Western and even freshly made Teppanyaki. Definitely reasonable spread for the value. The interior too is clean and attractive. Families, couples and groups of friends can enjoy their time. Best to have a reservation prior to coming.

The best buffet place i could find in Lucan, recommend to come over the weekend because more food will be served (of course price will be a bit more expensive), overall it's totally worth it if you want to try different food. This place Is just one of a kind no matter what ur preference they have it and everytime its amazing 10 out of 10 experience the staff are amazing 2 they make it more memorable and are always so kind they ask when u sit down are u here tonight for anything special so I told them it was the 2 boys birthdays honestly not excpecting anything as it was a last minute booking but they made it very special they brought out a cake an sang happy birthday to the boys a night to remember I'm so greatfull considering the place was full enough thank yous so much we absolutely loved it an for the price u can not go wrong ill be stuffed for a week then I shall be back again 😂 so worth it 😊

This is exactly located in the Liffey valley shopping centre with plenty of free car parking space. You can book a table before dine in. There is no delivery and take away. I never imagined that there's a place as beautiful as this one. We actually came to celebrate our friends birthday and we were given the best treatment we could have thought of. I had the opportunity to take some nice pictures from the area view, to the waiting room. The place has over 150 different kind of food buffet (starter to dessert) you can choose from any. It's a nice place especially when you are looking for a group get together arrangement and I will recommend it to everyone who loves good food to have a try.

Self service all you can eat buffet with an array of Indian, Chinese, Sushi, Carvery, Kids foods and a nice dessert bar. Kids absolutely love it. Food is actually very good quality for buffet. Its a great spot for large groups. Ive been a few times with the family and there is always a long wait to be seated once you get seated they are slow with the drinks. Thats why they lost a star. Other than that no complaints.

NO GREAT OPTIONS FOR VEGETARIANS! Went for lunch with friend (who eats non-veg food). Really not happy about the menu. The Indian food veggie curry is bland, the rice was good, mushroom and the lamb was also good. As a vegetarian I did not have amazing options, every noodle had egg and only 3-4 dish (including chips and has brown) were there for me. Pizza and Pasta were VERY COLD!! Most food was lacking flavour. No chocolate fountain as seen in other pics, limited dessert. Not what I wanted for what I paid. It was a good one time thing but I don't think I will be going again. However, the staff and covid restrictions are in place. I was happy to see that.

This is a really nice buffet which has a variety of different foods from all around the world, you can find Italian, Japanese, Indian and many more. The food ranges from savoury dishes to dessert, there's even an ice cream machine! The seating arrangement can be a little tight based on the time you go and day of the week but generally speaking during the week days it's fine. Ps also you get a student discount if you provide a student card. Overall this place is good and I'd highly recommend it.

Been to many a Buffett (I'm a fat fecker!) And the experience has always been: so so... Cosmo is however: yum yum! 😅 All the food has been cooked with a level of love not seen in any other Buffett. Each of the food items alone are of high restaurant quality, the serving staff are warm friendly and attentive, the decor of the venue is also really classy. I recommend really giving it a visit the next time your stomach is empty and can't decide what to eat. 😎

Absolutely my favourite restaurant ever! The food is to die for. You can get as much as you want and all for a really low entry price. The coca cola is free refills aswell. Its not just Chinese food either is continental food from everywhere mmm can't wait to go again!

Overall, an enjoyable experience. The waiting staff were efficient and friendly. We liked the atmosphere of the place and I would say Cosmo is one of the better places for buffet food in the Greater Dublin area. We went during lunch time and they had sections for Chinese, Indian, Teppanyaki, Ramen, Sushi, Western and Desserts. There's a lot to choose from in the Chinese section, with the stir fried mushrooms and the salt and pepper wings as my favourites. They had a decent desserts section too. I'd definitely go back here.

this is an overall great buffet, the allergens is what I have an issue with… I am highly allergic to shellfish and ordered some chicken tepanyaki, he cooks it then while mine is cooking takes the next persons order, the other gets prawns, I saw him use the same tools, oil and then he like cooked them together, I didn’t eat it and was quite disappointed, didn’t even wash the grill after! The chips are a whole other story.. cold, chewy and just plain old disgusting! Were not of high quality.. Sweet and sour chicken, unreal, best one around and the froyo is to die for.. Staff was super freindly! Just improve on the allergens and I will definitely come back again!

Fairly cheap for lunch, all you can eat too. Drinks are charged separately, but you do get free refills. Dinner time is almost double the cost but the food is the nearly the same early or late, with the late menu having a few more choices (dim sums and the hot plate area where they cook up meat or seafood for you is only available at dinner time). They have a wide range of Chinese take-away types of food, they also offer a bit of Indian food, and Japanese food with a few small selection of sushi rolls to choose from (mainly vegetarian, if you're looking for raw fish sushi, you'll be disappointed). They have a hot plate area that does steaks and the likes. On offer also is pizza and European snacks like sausage rolls. They offer a good selection of cakes for dessert, none of which is made by the restaurant, they are all bought frozen from the likes of Musgraves. Well worth a visit, might not go a lot but definitely for the odd dinner or lunch gathering. Not great food but price is cheap enough for lunch and a good choice if everyone wants something different.

Great 'upmarket' all you can eat buffet restaurant. Range of foods is excellent, also good for coeliacs. Big range of aisan/indian dishes, curries etc, also have a sushi bar, pizza, salad bar, kids stuff- sausages nuggets etc, also teppanyaki - chef cooks meats to order (chicken & prawns on offer the day we visited). This place was built up for me as the best buffet in Ireland. With its large impressive premises and its really long advanced booking list. The staff were fantastic and the restaurant looked great but the food was no where near the standard of your basic local Chinese. There also wasn't much choice. Just to clear up how ""diverse"" the buffet is here. They have a Chinese section, that was their main buffet. They had two mild chicken Indian dishes. Sushi that was a let down. Basic burgers with no toppings. Roast potatoes and boiled meat. Lasagna (I don't know how someone could have Lasagna after having Chinese). Pasta that was un eatable. Then there was a pizza shelf that was right beside where they clean all the dishes, as you can see in the picture of someone else's review. The desert section was the biggest let down. Just basic ordinary ice cream with different cakes. Nothing on the sweets and chocolate fountain that global offer. There was a strict one way system in place that to me made a lot of sense regardless of the pandemic but absolutely no one followed or enforced the rules. There were a load of kids running around touching and leaning over all the food. This place is a poor imitation of Global Dundrum

I really hope I’ve spelled his name correctly but senad is an outstanding man, the best customer service I’ve ever received. I’ve a peanut allergy and he organised the chef to walk me through the dishes and he could not have been more helpful. I think he was the manager and if not he definitely should be. I didn’t love the food choices on this occasion but senad definitely made up for it. He’s a credit to your business I would make sure you keep a hold of him. We’re not complainers we just got on with the food that was there, we will try again next time hopefully there is more choices. ':

First off the food was not great. In particular the naan bread. Dry, crispy and hard. Not what it should be like. There are plenty of staff floating around... Too many I would say.. But a suggestion would be to maybe put someone on the tandoor to make the bread fresh to order. The Covid restrictions were rigorously enforced but it was very unnerving and a little intimidating to have staff following us around as we got our food. Our waiter Snow was amazing and very professional. He is a credit to your establishment and although we did not enjoy the food... The 3 stars are for him alone!

Came here on the 28th with a group of people and they were able to accomodate us quite well. You have to have a reservation booked days early to go here especially if youre a large group as they rarely accomodate walk-ins as it is mostly packed. Food selection is large and ranges from chinese, indian, japanese, korean, and maybe european too, so come with an empty stomach. Drinks does not come with the food and must be ordered, though tap water is free. Nice staff as well. The mint at the cashier is also a good addition!

Has a good seating capacity...

It was my first time in this place today. It was packed. I was surprised at how busy it was. All of the food was lovely. Plenty to choose from and they somehow managed to keep fresh food to replenish the food on show. There was a little confusion at the end. They come around and take a head count so they know how many people to charge for. My wife came to pick me up and they were counting her. It was explained & everyone was happy. I had someone recommend this place and so was eager to try it, it was a buffet and you could go up and get much food as you like as many times as you like. Although there was a wide variety of food, I was disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the meat which was either over cooked or very fatty. The young boy who served our table was almost robotic in his manner and his speech, too busy looking around the place and not making eye contact whilst trying to explain the choice of food available. I will not be returning, however, having said that my friend loved it and would go again. Maybe it's down to personal taste as it was packed and people appeared to be enjoying the experience

JUST WOW!! We came late, about an hour to go and there was still fresh food flowing. prawns, which seems to be rationed especially in buffets. Quality of food is also amazing, they have some in-house sauce made by talented chefs. a lot of variety, dessert and fruit section also amazing. The decor is splendid as it sets a great ambience for a relaxed meal with your family, friends or partner. One of the most pleasant dining experiences I've ever had. The staff were extremely friendly, the selection of food was amazing. The value for money was really good. We are here for a good time not a long, try everything and don't tell the gym instructor you were there!

This place is so good. Bit expensive but worth it. You can get Chinese Indian Japanese and Italian all you can eat dishes here. Everything in the menu is fresh and hot. Going with a bunch of people can make the occasion better. Seats and ambience is very good. The staffs are friendly too. If you want booze you have to pay extra for that. All food including starters main and desserts are included in the price. There is time limit of 2 hours to enjoy your food and it will be better if you can pre book and show up coz its very busy there and you may not get a seat.

Loving it! What a fabulous restaurant! All sorts of delicious food from around the world to please even the tiniest taste buds there is ! Lovely sitings on a modern design, very clean, welcoming and with a cool view. My favourite thing about it was the chocolate fountain! Make sure you reserve a table online , 2 days before going so you have a happy experience with no waiting time 😉. I truly recommend this place! It's so yummy and fab!

I haven't really had a bad experience, but it's quite overrated, to be honest. To say the good first, the place is beautiful! Decor is exquisite and staff is also very good, and that's actually what makes the food so disappointing, by contrast. Been here twice at different times, several months apart, and the food quality was just not up to what the setting and price make you expect. Chinese was the best, everything else was uninteresting, some of it being flavourless and even dry. You will get full, nothing actually tastes bad, and it's a superb experience otherwise, but just not near what it could and should be.

I've been to this place 4 times in the past few months and I can only say praises. Good and wide variety of food options that can't be rivaled anywhere in the country. Reasonable prices. Exciting presentation and great staffs! The drinks menu can use a bit of wiping down, I observed that it's full of hardened food stuffs like chocolate ganache and sauces of different types. It will just take an extra minute after closing but it will sure make a great impact. I can't wait to visit again and see if the drinks menu is being wiped clean next time. Cosmo is a great spot for varied foods, serving all-you-can-eat Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Carvery, Salad and Desert selections. Maximum seating time is 1hr45mins although I don't think they are strict on this. It's decent value at €10 for lunch and €20 for evening meals. Clientele is usually families or work groups and at peak hours it can feel hectic and be difficult to get around the food serving areas as it is self-service. But the staff are very helpful and friendly and the decor is beautiful. It can be hit or miss whether the food is cold or not occasionally. It's beneficial to watch for when the chefs are plating up new dishes. Highlights are sushi and the hot chocolate fountain. Something to note is that they don't split bills for more than six people.

I was here during vacation, but what a disappointment. When I entered the restaurant, there was no order anywhere (people walking in the entrance, etc). The food was decent enough, but the free soda was wrongly placed (the orange soda was 7-up. The buffet was placed to close to the tables, so there was almost no place to walk past people on your way back to the table. All with all, one time is enough.

We went to the Liffey Valley Cosmo for lunch on Sunday without booking so we had to wait for about 30 minutes to get a table, as it was our first time there we didn't mind. First thing I noticed - the place was very busy and it seems like the staff didn't have time to keep the place clean, food bits were everywhere on the floor. There buffet has alot of food to fill you up but overall it's not a culinary experience - most dishes were either flavourless or oversalted to my taste. The sushi is very basic and it was a bit dry, but the freshly grilled seafood was delicious. Some stations were not re-supplied in time so you had to comeback if you wanted something popular (like salami pizza, fried rice or naan bread) and the plates could be cleaner. Good variety of desserts but all you can taste in them is sugar. I would not go back for all the reasons above but I have to mention that the kids enjoyed it. The bill for 2 adults and 2 kids came up to 73 euro.

We went here before the Christmas, as a large-ish party of 8 with three kids. They seated us without reservation (Christmas period remember) in about twenty minutes. The selection was far wider than the menu had led me to believe. I got to be eccentric in my choices. I had a mixture of Asian starters, Indian, Chinese, Korean. I had sushi for my main course. And the dessert selection was so large and appealing, I have to admit I went more than once. Soft drinks were free, but beer and wine are not included in the cover price. At one point one of the two soft drink machines broke and dispensed nothing but fizzy water but it was fixed within 15 minutes. The second machine continued to work all this time. We all really enjoyed ourselves, ate our fill, indulged our sweet tooth and we will go back again.

The Cosmo in Liffey Park Dublin. Well...I visited this Restaurant two times to create a opinion. Service: I arrived without a Reservation ( on a Weekend definitely not recommended!!! ) and got the same Table twice. The Staff is friendly and attended. Ambiente: Well... a typical Restaurant. I missed a little the feeling or a direction for this Restaurant. The Food: The typical Asian Food ( Of course European Touch, nothing authentic ) was partly cold in its containers. As I see, it depends also on the amount of Guests. The Food taste himself is good, but especially the Chicken-dishes had a feeling like chewing gum. The Selection of the Food is really big, so everybody will find something. For Dessertlovers, there is a really good selection of sweets. Pricing: 20€ per Person seems for Dublin normal. Result: 3 Stars because of Food Temperature and partly also the Quality.

So the only thing I would recommend Cosmos for is the food (which is your regular buffet food that you can get elsewhere) and the good photo opportunities. That's why they get three stars. The last two were for the customer service which was appalling. Firstly, they did not give us our correct change (they were off by 10 euro) and when we called them to get answers at first they were helpful and cooperative but later they started acting suspiciously and it became very clear that they had no intention of giving us our money back. All I will say is, if you go to Cosmos, make sure to count your change before you leave and don't count on their customer service to help you out! Jimmy Chung's is a much better alternative. Update: after seeing this review four months ago, the manager called, explained that the girl we paid at the till made a mistake and he thought we had been sorted as he was not there when we called. He offered to give us a free meal, which we never made use of but I've added another star as they did eventually try and fix it and it might have been a miscommunication between the manager and employees. Just be careful if you go there.

This was my first visit to Cosmo in Liffey Valley, after been to the Cosmo in Belfast which was fab. I found the Layout of the restaurant confusing and booths are a terrible idea when it comes to a buffet meal as you need to keep getting up to let the other person out. The choice of food was OK, although I found there was more choice on Belfast's lunch menu than the dinner menu here in Dublin. The food was only lukewarm, so by the time you got it back to your table it was cold. I probably will go back to Belfast's cosmo before trying the Dublin one again.

Ita the betmat readturqnt iv ever been to, you have mixtures of dishes, indian, chinese, Japanese, normal dish like burger, pizza, lasagne. You have a bottom less softdrink its means with just only €3.45 you can self pour sofdrinks as much as you want. The desert are fantastic they have chocolate fountain viarity of cakes and ice cream all it was was about €20 euro per person i loved it. Its has a nice interior designe best.

Contacted Cosmis rwice via email re this. Myself my partner and 2 kids 12 and 14 went to Cosmos 16 May for his 50th birtbday. We managed to sneak a cake in and the girls were excited! Meal was ok alot of stations busy and food needed refrrsjed but ok. The table clearinf and staff attention was appalling! We were unlucky enough to have a guy who was rude and condescending. He was arrogant and uppity. I asked couks he bring cake as we had already witnessed other birthday tables revieve their cake and staff singibg etc etc. After 20 mins he came and handed me the cake in its box!!! Here u go he said! Kids were so dissapointed. We took it home !! I am appalled at this treatmeng we did compkain and the orher staff aplogised but ir ruined the event. I hzve emailed Cosmos twice with no response. Sad but true. Cosmos was rec to us no idea why??

Not the five star it was when it first opened. A plastic jug that you give to kids when you order water was served to a table full of adults. Very cheap and a dirty look. Alot of the food in some hot plates was dried out from being left for too long. Still eatable but not as tasty.
