The best brunches in the town! If you wanna have lovely service experience combinated with tasty food just come on in! I highly recommend this place🤩
M. W.
Buzzy spot with top notch cocktails. Their Bloody Mary is next level. Can be tricky to get atmosphere, cocktails as well as good grub but Dillinger’s has all 3. Looking forward to getting back indoors for the real experience

Absolutely love this spot. If you're looking for a modern restaurant with Lovely food and great service this is your spot. Great for brunch
K. M.
It was mixed feelings. I went on Friday at5.30pm.
Nachos at €9 for a starter were great. And burger or main course was really nice at €17
Glass of 250ml wine was €11 which was pricey and cocktails were €12 which again was very pricey.
Service was excellent.
I would go back but not to have any drinks. That sums it up.
D. M.
This rating really is more of a 3.8. The service was super friendly, and super quick and the food definitely hit the spot. The seating was a bit cramped, I felt like I was in a Ryanair seat. I felt the cocktails were well made but a tiny bit overpriced for the ambiance (i.e. they shouldn't go over €10 unless it's something truly special). Overall, as far as brunch goes in Dublin this is one of the better spots... they're not as cookie cutter as some of the other places in town.
M. T.
Went for brunch recently and was pleasantly surprised. Nice menu, good quality food and drinks combined with a buzzy atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Lovely place for brunch in Ranelagh. We were lucky to get a table walking in on Sunday afternoon, so I'd recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment!
Nice mix of sweet and savory dishes on the menu with decent portion sizes.
The smashed avocado was quite sour along with the hollandaise, but still pretty tasty - a side of smoked salmon would be a great add-on. The chicken and waffles is great if you're craving the sweet/salty combo - but a bit too crispy for my liking.
Would love to return to try something new (the table beside us for the shakshuka which smelled amazing!).

What a place for food and cocktails! Ate here on Friday night and it was fantastic from start to finish! When we arrived we were recommend a really nice cocktail that got us off to a kick! The service was really on point and everyone that came near our table seemed really nice! The food was deadly too! Scallops and prawns to start with Rosotto and Steak as mains topped off with a Créme Brúlée to finish it all off!! I hear its really good for brunch too so will have to be back very soon!!
I. M.
Smashed avocados with smoked salmon was nice, but it would do much much better with english muffin instead of sourdough, which was very dry, overtoasted and hard. My friends enjoyed their pulled pork poached egg special brunch dish. Thank you
D. K.
Decided to get brunch for chicken and waffles after having it in the US a few times. The waffle is a bit spongy, could be a bit crispier, bit still nice. A good portion of chicken but €15 is a bit steep for the size of the portion. Definitely recommend getting the deluxe for €5 more to get eggs, sausage and bacon. The nachos are the best I've ever had. Hands down worth the visit alone. It's a cosy spot, somewhat small but was fairly busy. Will definitely visit again. Cappuccino was made properly and staff were quick and friendly.
D. H.
Amazing food and cocktails. I would recommend going through the menu item by item. As for cocktails, you'll have to start your Sunday brunch with a classic whiskey sour!
The ambiente and service was quite friendly, though it felt rushed at times because the place is always packed. That is also the reason I had to take a star off, the experience was great but we waited 40 minutes for a table.
D. J.
Quality food in huge portions. Very pleased to find fish tacos done properly. A "small" portion comes with three which was more than enough for a meal. The nachos are massive and great to share with friends. Everything here is pretty indulgent so if its big, cheesy american/mexican food you're after - this is your spot.
K. M.
Very nice place in the hear of Ranelagh. It borders between a restaurant and a pub which I like and has a very funky atmosphere. I ordered the tacos, which were very good, and the chicken wings, which were very disappointing. My partner got a burger which was excellent. Overall, despite the wings, the meal was very pleasant. I will definitely go back again to try some other positions from the menu!
k.
My new favorite restaurant in Dublin. My bf got the T-bone special and I got the pork chop. Both were mouth wateringly delicious. Portions were perfectly sized and everything from the mash to the may was lovely. Couldn't recommend this place more

Came here on a Saturday evening - took 30 mins to get a table... Recommend to book a table in advance to avoid long waits (especially when arriving with 3 or more people). Had the prawns for a starter - very delicious! Main dish was a ribeye steak grilled to perfection! Sides could be a little more innovative. Besides that a really cool place to have a US diner style dinner with a lively ambience. Staff is very friendly and happy to help you make a good food/drink decision.
P. R.
Nice spot for a bit of brunch at the weekend. Interesting menu from breakfast items crossing over to lunch so ideal for a late brunch. Staff are friendly and attentive.
K. A.
Thought I won't ever get a good chicken and waffle place in Dublin. Oh boy I was wrong - this place do a really good job for the chicken and waffle. It's flavorful, with interesting twist of the bourbon maple sauce, although, the bourbon was quite strong. As for the waffle, it's savory but I'd like to have a different waffle shape (bigger, deeper columns). Another nice thing to have is to add more options for our vegan / vegetarian friends :)
C. O.
Top notch spot in Ranelagh. American diner style with a diverse menu covering standard fry to Pancakes with a few really good veggie options. Great for brunch. I recommend the super nachos and a Bloody Mary with a big appetite. Doesn't take reservations but the wait usually isn't too bad. Staff are friendly. Definitely my most visited local spot.
A. Z.
Classic brunch designation in Ranelagh. Would like to see more pescetarian / vegetarian dishes on their menu for grass eaters🌿
R. M.
Very cool retro-American style brunch spot. Service is good, and it has both the best Bloody Marys and Chicken & Waffles that I've had in Dublin
C. C.
Whopper surf and turf nachos. Maintaining an exceptional standard in challenging times. Fair play!
S. C.
Dillingers is always great, the service is great, really good food and the cocktails are fab’
S. W.
HOW IVE ONLY TRIED THIS NOW I DO NOT KNOW.
This was the nicest thing I have ever eaten.
We are big time foodies and eat out at least twice a week. We’ve eaten in plenty of places but this was honestly unbelievably tasty.
If I could move in with the chef I would 🤷🏻♀️
20/10 get the beef cheeks!!!!
R. C.
The food was ok pricing I guess was fine. Music was to loud for conversation felt like a club and as their was a few of us they put on a large enough service charge. Over all was fine but not fantastic value for money
S. V.
Very nice brunch spot. Always quiet full - which is what you expect from a 'top brunch spot' in Dublin.
Excellent quality food and great value too.
The Shakshouka in particular was de-licious!
Highly recommend!
C. B.
Amazing as always. Staff brilliant. Food incredible. Surrounds beautiful. Love it!
D. M.
Good portions of food. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and I had the avocado and eggs with poached eggs. The service was prompt. Would recommend.
M. o.
Staff were great, particularly regarding covid requirements. Decent service. Food slightly overdone...as in way too crispy.
L. P.
amazing food, very kind and well organized service, friendly atmosphere. Definitely a perfect spot for week end brunch!
C. S.
Nice place for breakfast. Cocktails were good and food was fantastic.
K. B.
Great lively spot for a casual dinner and great cocktails.
b. h. n. c.
Great Covid dining experience! Screens between tables but the old dilingers buzz is palpable. Lovely margaritas and tacos. Great service. 'Just a pity the vegetarian starter and main are both mushrooms on bread, delicious though they may be.
P. M.
Great place for brunch...nice modern take on the mixed grill
A. M.
Oh yeah. God bless America. Not exactly cheap, but portions are big and totally worth it.
F.
Delicious food, helpful friendly staff and great offers each day of the week.
D. O.
Lovely brunch and amazing cocktails.
J. F.
Well set out with screens between tables. Service excellent
O. B.
The most delicious food we've had in a long long time. The fish of the day, hake, was incredible. My boyfriend had the chicken and loved it. The flavours and seasoning were out of this world. Hats off to the chef!
R. D. L.
I went to Dillingers for brunch with my Friends on a Sunday afternoon. The place was full and really loud. It was hard to talk. The food was lovely, but my portion was small for the price paid (16euros for scrambled eggs with cured salmon and 2 asparagus tips, on a single slice of bread). When i asked for extra bread i was charged 3euros just for two small slices!
The service was really good though. Our waiter was very polite and helpful.
H. B.
We went to Dillinger's for brunch. The food and drinks were excellent (especially the prosecco that comes with three different fruit juices to mix and match). The staff were very attentive and friendly. At the end of the meal we were accidentally overcharged but the waiter noticed and corrected it immediately, which we were grateful for. The only negative was that the music was quite loud and at times it felt like we needed to shout, but this is a small thing in an overall positive experience.
R. A. Y.
Great breakfast place! Definitely worth the wait!
J. B.
Best brunch in town, American style indulgence just when you need it
E. J.
I've eaten here a few times in the past few weeks, so good! Food was spot on everytime & the service is great, they have such a good team. They are a good laugh & very efficient. Covid-19 adaptations are brilliant too. I will be back
S. K.
Love this place. The food is always so tasty and the servings are just the right size – the excellent service is a huge plus too. As an added bonus, their brunch menu has 4 great options for vegetarians, and they're more than happy to accommodate for coeliacs. In terms of drinks, the beer menu is good and they make unreal cocktails.
J. K.
Great customer service. Food was interesting...not your usual brunch
S.
Food was really good! Staff are very friendly and efficient AND the portions are huge! We turned up without any reservation but they managed to accommodate us on a very busy night with no fuss. Music was good and the atmosphere was lovely. Food selection ranges from wings to ribs to burgers etc. Everything you’d expect to find in an American themed restaurant.
D. T.
Very nice environment and friendly staff. Very busy so expect a wait. Food was fantastic
N. B.
Great casual American style food, from nachos to burgers and more. All high quality with great taste. Decor, atmosphere, music and staff are all great. Good selection of wives, beers and cocktails. Can be a little pricey but overall it's worth it.
P. H.
There is a lot of hype about this place and after visiting it I can see why. Went for Sunday brunch here with a group of friends and we were well feed. There is a great selection of food for everyone, I got the chicken and waffles, they were fab. I wasn't the only one who enjoyed their meal it was clean plates all round washed down by mimosas. Not the worst way to spend a Sunday morning/afternoon!!!
M. M.
Best brunch in Dublin. Hands down. Stunning food.
C. L.
The music is loud but you can still hear your own conversation. Food is nice, my friend especially enjoyed the spicy beans. Definitely would recommend it, not the last time I will eat here!
F. S.
Pretty solid brunch. Been coming here for years and it's always been tasty and consistent. The food is a bit of americana classics, some tex mex. I always go for brunch but seem to have some good stakehouse classics for dinner too. Their cocktails are solid as well. It's a great all rounder and the service is pretty solid too,not a lot of faff, efficient and courteous.
S. B.
The food was so delish and fresh. Everyone was happy with their meal.
Great socially distanced but still an atmosphere
T. T.
Lovely food. Had steak that was cooked medium rare and actually was medium rare. Staff were very nice. Dessert was delicious. Very cosy atmosphere, good drinks selection. Interior is dark, but not in a way where you can't see your food or who you are there with, unlike some places. Recommended.
T. S.
Great breakfast and tasty beers!
S. F.
Love this place! Have been coming for their Nacho Tuesday for years. It's great that they do a veggie option nachos aswel. Amazing brunch spot also, brill cocktails, great service and overall one of my favourite places in Ranelagh to eat.
A. M.
Food was amazing, staff lovely; looking forward to eating indoors 😀
C. Ó. S.
Amazing food and cocktails. The 10 euro nachos on Tuesdays are not to be missed, huge plate of food. Staff are lovely and place is nice and clean. Cool aesthetic in there as well. Highly recommended.
C. N.
The guy we had as a waitor was brilliant, great craic. Our cocktails tasted a bit off so we asked for some 7up in it and one of the cocktail makers was rude and made us feel uncomfortable about having an issue. Food was good. Wine was 32 euro bit steep. Overall, fine.
I. V.
Dillinger's serves extremely tasty food. If you are looking for a juicy burger, some sweet ribs or just a place to have brunch, you won't regret your time there.
The only thing that keeps me from rating this with 5 stars, is the fact that the prices are quite high compared to similar places around the area.
M. H.
Great atmosphere. Super accommodating staff. Excellent beer selection! Nice home made lemonade🍋 The pulled pork was a bit too wet for my preference.
T. R.
Pleasant eatery with some good ol' American dishes on the menu. Great ribs and nice selection of craft beers. Very friendly and attentive staff as well. Unfortunately a bit on the expensive side...
O. C.
Brilliant and helpful staff. Definitely one of the nicest places to get chicken wings. We wanted to share a burger and chicken wings cause the portions are huge and they split the burger for us and gave us an extra portion of fries all for under €30!
J. K.
Order the pork carnitas, the meat was great, egg was poached perfectly and the hollandaise was great. My rating is only three stars because of the crazy unnatural green gauacmole that I am not certain was actually made out of avocado's and the fact they put cucumber in their Pico de Gallo, where it definitely doesn't belong.
M. D.
The food was ok, but the seating is incredibly cramped, I almost felt I was imposing on the tables beside us. I ordered a special, surf and turf steak, which, while tasty I found underwhelming for the 35 euro price tag. We also ordered the nachos which were delicious.
L. M.
Great menu, good value early bird. Highly recommend and would eat anything here, it's all delicious.
Mid week offers are unbeatable and the cocktails are fab too!
S. H.
Great food...great portions...great music
L.
We went for DINNER. Enjoyed it very much. Sinday night was quiet and not packed . The dishes are very similar to their sisters - Butcher grill and the 777 (and the prices are also similar). We enjoyed it very much. We shared "special" of deep fried battered fish , Blackened fish taco (lots of spices) corn on the cob, tacos and chilli (the meat was smoky and nice) and the raw tuna tacos that are always fab. Will be back.
J. M.
Huge portions, after eating brunch at 11am I wasn't hungry until dinner. The staff is nice and helpful. The only drawback is that they don't have high chairs for children or a kids menu.
S.
Really good food, relaxed atmosphere, homemade ginger beer (delicious and but too sweet), great service. Was driving so couldn't try the cocktails but they looked amazing. Great attention to detail. Fantastic place, well definitely go back (soon)
L. R.
Such good food, queue out the door! If you aren't a big eater, go with someone that you can share with. Wish I did that, could have not wasted food as it was far to big of a portion for me (but not for others I was with ;) )
M. S.
Second time at Dillinger's, first time for brunch. Prices are fair, portions are decent, service is good, but outside area (they recently added small tables on the sideway) is a desaster. Cigerets butts scattered all over the street, pretty dirty overall and lack of atmosphere - I guess only convenient for smokers. Would recommend to sit inside!
E. C.
Go here for brunch, you will love it! I've never been for dinner, but the American dishes with a Mexican twist are the stuff of greedy dreams. The huevos rancheros is like a party in your mouth. People queue for a very good reason!
H. K.
Great food and service. Delicious and high quality. Very nice atmosphere, decor and music. Great cocktails and selection of beers and wines. A bit pricey but still highly recommended.
C. O.
Had the chicken and waffles, very tasty meal, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Only gripe is it's a little on the pricey side for lunch and brunch, but not ridiculously so.. especially given it's in the middle of Ranelagh.
C. K.
Nachos here are unreal. Waaaay too much for one but great the next day for lunch. The staff here are always so friendly and in great form. Margarita's are one of the best I've tasted.
R. B.
Nice if you like the Diner thing. Food is good. Staff are nice. We arrived as a group booked in for 7. They asked another group to leave to accommodate us and in turn we were asked to leave at 9. Not the best
R. P.
We went for dinner and can really recommend the mixed tacos, surprisingly the ones we liked most were the sweet potato tacos. An explosion of taste and true soulfood! We had room for dessert and went for a chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice-cream and cherries = the dream. Everything is very reasonable priced and we recommend to take mixed starters/sides instead of the mains to get a full range of taste. I myself went for brunch once and had a mexicanised version of poached eggs and avocado with a hash brown and jalapeno Hollandaise, so simple, yet so good.
E. O.
Nice place. Amazing food. Service good. Fantastic music and atmosphere. Disappointed with the toilets. Cien (Lidl brand) hand soap was a major let down for a place charging €10 per cocktail and up to €15 for a brunch plate. Aside from this it was perfect.
J. C.
Smaller than I thought It would be.
Chicken and waffles was fantastic but the sauce was horrible.
If they loose the what I can assume was a bourbon based sauce I'd happily return.
T. F.
One of the best dinner’s in Ranelagh. Got a big variety on the menu for a great Saturday/ sunday brunch. Had the chiken and waffles and some pancakes which were really good
N.
Cool casual setting but really nice food. Portions are big too . Their dinner menu is better than brunch
R. O.
We had a great brunch in Dillingers. Very tasty food and very good service.
T. R.
If there's one thing you should get when you go to Dillingers it's their Nachos. Best in Dublin by a long shot. The portion is huge, so it's a good idea to share (it's nice to share as well!). It's got a cool vibe and the staff are great. They also do great drinks and cocktails on top of the food (which other than the Nacho's is great as well!)
E. C.
Great American style gourmet food and fab cocktails. Friendly staff and trendy decor. Best brunch in the area. #Brunchtastic forever! :-)
M. T. F.
Great food and service, it never fails! Great wine list and cocktails. I've been here lots of times and always love going!
N. M.
Unreal food. The only issue is the price. 1.50 for Mayo, no thank you!! And 6.50 for a can of Sierra Nevada. Lol. But it makes up for it with fantastic food. Been there for brunch and dinner.
M. “. M.
I was surprised at the American beer selection and the lack of local beers. So if you're looking for a Guinness this is not the place. If you are looking for a great steak and restaurant that knows what rare means like, this is your place. The Dillinger Desert is a must have.
C. O.
Nicest Steak I've ever had. All the food was beautiful. Great service.
S. K.
Fantastic food, staff were friendly. They have cocktail nights and other promotion nights. We had brunch and it was amazing
D. D.
Very nice food and staff.
A. D. P.
Lovely food and service. Nice olace for couples and small companies 4-6 people. Staff is really friendly.
J. B.
Amazing chicken & waffles. Big portion. Great social distancing scheme. Lovely staff!
K. K.
This place is absolutely incredible. The fried chicken waffles are a must have, the staff is incredibly friendly! I go here very often, please try it out!!
N. C.
Elegant dining even during these restrictions. The rib eye steak was amazing....medium rare
A. M.
Amazing staff, excellent food! Very accommodating! Fav place in Dublin. Ordered the surf and turf nachos and omg DEVINE 10/10
E. W.
Really good as always, 2 courses for e22. Wings and Nachos, quality. Great service and big portions.
S.
I have to say about the staff. They were great, don't listen to anyone saying the staff were slow, I literally had my breakfast in record time and it was very good. They listened to the criticism and adapted it seems.
v. a.
Had brunch in Dillinger's - really nice food, lots of choices, pleasant and quick service. Just space wise is a bit cramped and a bit loud for my liking.
F. K.
My Food was amazing. Every dish that came out to other diners made me have food envy. Staff were friendly and efficient.
B. O.
Best burger in Dublin, great whiskey sours. When we go, it's for those. Really good staff
C. T.
Amazing food and service. Nice vibe. Social distancing and covid measures in place. Highly recommended.
B. G.
First visit, really happy with the meal and service. Will be back soon to try the cocktails or the brunch... or both!
B. A.
Great place. Great cocktails. I had the wings to start and ribs for dinner with a whiskey sour. Excellent!
G. S.
Good food, however they have changed a menu a while ago and a huge veggie breakfast which I loved, is gone. They still have veggie options. Recommended.
E.
Great brunch & cocktails. One of the best around
P. D.
Really great food. Quick service. Had the surf and turf Na hos and would definitely recommend.
B. H.
Staff are great, margharitas are from 777 and great deal on the early bird but couldn't avoid the gorgeous venison. Great every time
F. M. G. R.
Deadly spot, really cool menu and great drinks. Service had one tiny slip but they acknowledged and way more than made up for it.
M. A. A. M.
Great food, big portions and nice place. It is a pity that is always quite full for brunch
D. L.
Lobster roll is lovely and seriously good cocktails
A. M.
Great food, huge portions, very nice service, cosy location. Loved it to spend some time there. This place is recommended!
N. D.
Dark environment so excellent if you're hungover. Food was amazing The Bloody Mary's were small overall expensive.
A. M.
Really good food. Great atmosphere and lovely inside. Really nice place to eat.
A. C.
Great restaurant with a small menu in the heart of Ranelagh. At Dillinger's, 70s diner interior meets "American-influenced progressive Irish cuisine." The menu offers a range of classics with a twist, such as burgers with kimchi or hotdogs with oxtail chili. Best-kept secret on the menu: pickled shitake mushrooms.
M. R.
A bit pricey but everything is good. I made a mistake ordering the maim course and a side and they swaped without any resistance when the food was already in our table.
W. O.
Great service and lovely place to eat or just chill at the bar with a coffee. Food was top quality and plentiful
G. W.
Food was delicious. Ingenious layout to meet covid restrictions. Staff were brilliantly
U. K.
Nice and classical brunch, excellent asparagus salat from the new menu and Louisiana chicken need to be upgraded (something is missing different sauce maybe and something green)
K. Y.
Had an amazing time, food was great, 5mins from my plc, simply loved this place, highly recommended if you are going to Raneleagh...
E. M.
Friendly and speedy service, with delicious food at a really good price. Will be coming back here again soon
F. N. D.
€87 euro for a brunch dish for 4 and a drink each. Food was nice but it isn't worth that much.
S. P.
Great steaks. Got to try the Steak Wednesday. Most probably one of the best steaks I've had for years.
V. V.
Good food. Very large quantities, especially the nachos. Very good customer service. I would recommend it.
J. Q.
Went here for cocktails after dinner in Butcher Grill just up the road. Great casual location and drinks were excellent.
A. N.
Love going in here. Not a bad thing on the menu, we have tried it all. AMAZING cocktails here.

J. E.
Stunning place to stop for brunch in Ranelagh. Great food and cocktails.
V. W.
Cool place, with huge portions, but kind of mediocre food. Good value for money though.
E. M.
Thought it was overrated and expensive. The maple syrup that came with the waffles and fried chicken didn't taste nice at all.
F. B.
Excellent brunch menu, delicious food and very patient staff
Y. J.
Very casual place however they served really good quality food. Very impressed! 👍🏻
A. P.
Nice place with good beer selection and food quality. It's a pub, so don't expect to eat light dishes.
D. O. R.
Brilliant cocktails and super creative food, just be prepared to wait for a table as it's a small place.
J. E.
Food is very instagrammable, but kinda just okay/kinda pricey! Staff are v friendly too.

Nice place with very nice staff good atmosphere with good music playing in the background. Value for money

Great brunch menu and friendly charming staff
A. K.
Honestly I don't know why there is such a buzz about this place. The food was pretty mediocre. They serve huge as portions, but that's about it.
