Quite new indian restaurant in the city centre. So delicious and friendly, but at the weekends often booked out. The different tables are very close to each other.

The food was great and the ambience was quite welcoming. The seats can get too cramped up sometimes but we enjoyed our 2 hour time at the table.
Their naan bread was really fresh and the curries very close aunthentic. They also play some Bollywood songs on the tele (if you like to swing to those tunes).
If you're in a rush to have some good indian food while being in the heart of the city centre, I would recommend this place.

Food is superb, fresh, tasty and authentic dishes. The quality of the ingredients were excellent and portions were generous. They only serve black coffee with milk so no flat whites or lattes! Our group had a lovely evening there. Well worth a visit.

We had the most amazing dinner in Diwali this evening. The staff are so friendly, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great.
Best peshwari naan iv ever had 👌
Looking forward to our next visit.
Thank you for a great night!

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. The food tasted delicious. The only thing I could recommend was if the mint sauce was a bit thicker. Nonetheless, the customer service was excellent and they even included a free beer! 🍺 👍🏽

Excellent food. I give 4 instead of five stars because they could improve on PR. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy good Indian food. They also have Nepalese dishes. I have very little experience with food from Nepal and didn't want to try. The waiter presumed I knew what I wanted and was in a mighty hurry to take the order. No Way could I ask him about a certain dish, his reaction was do you want it? Conversation with him amounts to such one word answers. Yes or no. So I postponed the idea of trying something new until I am lucky enough to be greeted by a more customer friendly person.

Big fan of Indian food. Diwali is a delightful little restaurant right in the heart of Dublin. The food is good and the service is faultless. The only downside is the lack of decor and atmosphere, but then - that's not everything. Definitely somewhere I would try again.

My very first weekend in Dublin. Had heard a lot about the atmosphere at "Temple Bar" so had to visit just to check it out. Must admit it is not something I'd want to hang out at but having said that it will be an ideal place for any youngster who wants a good night out....but watch out for the crowd of people over flowing into the street.
Had heard of good reviews about the restaurant but was not expecting the queue of people waiting patiently outside wanting to have a good meal. Was just in time to get into the queue before they stopped allowing more to join.
I have to admit it was one of the best Indian/Napalese restaurant outside London that I had visited. The food was exceptional, the service was good but could have been better however I guess the restaurant was exceptionally busy .....all in all a very good restaurant.

We had a lovely family graduation dinner celebration on 11/10/21. Great food and service. My son was presented with a gorgeous chocolate cake from the management. Lovely touch. We will be back again.Very enjoyable. Thank you.

Booked following all the great reviews. Food generally good however poor decor, service and atmosphere a real letdown. MTV India playing on the TV not making it a very authentic experience. No irish coffee/lattes etc available as the coffee machine was broken. Complimentary sambuca/baileys a nice touch to end the meal. Overall felt a little underwhelmed.

Best Indian restaurant that I know and as a flight attendant and India lover, I get around a lot. Always dine there when in Dublin.
Also excellent and very friendly service.
You must try the Momos!

The restaurant was quite packed on Diwali as we went there on that day. They served delicious food but in the main course, the Naan was not cooked properly (might be because of rush). However, they immediately replaced them with a well cooked and with full butter.
Overall great experience!

Great restaurant. Gorgeous food for very reasonable prices. The amount of people they manage to serve in a relatively small place is absolutely amazing. Very efficient staff. We walked in with 4 on a Saturday night, the place was stacked. However we were seated within 5 minutes, our order was taken immediately (with some help of the server) and after immediate papadums our starters arrived within 10 minutes. Enjoyed this restaurant very much.

Delicious food! We've ordered lunch through Deliveroo. I had marinated tandoori chicken with vegetables (chicken shashlik) and stuffed paratha. Everything was really tasty! My husband is a huge fan of lamb Balti with garlic nan, so that's what he had. I got to try a bit of his dish and it was so good. It tasted like the spices were freshly ground, it had so much flavour and the lamb was beautify tender. His dish was so good that I forgot to take picture before it was all gone. With our order the restaurant added a complimentary popadums with pickled onion and a can of coke. I also want to add that the delivery guy was really fast, we ordered and got it delivered in less than 30min to D12.

Good food, we were missing some spice & flavor

This is a grand little restaurant. Called in for lunch last week with 2 others. Two couse lunch with a choice of 5 starters and 5 main courses. Food was really good. Very tasty and well presented. Himalayan lamb was gorgeous. And get this, it was €11.99. Unbelievable. We had a few Katmandu beers which were also lovely. Great place for lunch.

Diwali is Best Indian Restaurant by far in Dublin with the most delicious food and drinks and the staff is very kind and loyal to all customers the management is very good from my perspective and the best was how the staff treated me and my family with a shot of Sambuca and baileys at the end and I recommend going here one of the best nights I've ever had. Thank you Diwali for the special night
M. B.
Great food and customer service.
Had a fantastic dinner with the Himalayan lamb being my favorite dish among those I tried.
Staff was ready to comply with all our asks and prepared the best Mango Lassi I have ever had .
J. S.
Loved the food. Great location. Staff was friendly. It gets pretty crowded quickly.
They half a half plate option for curries. That was great as we could try a few of them in moderate quantities.
They gave us complementary wine when they saw we enjoyed our one glass we initially ordered. Definitely recommend.
M. M.
Good food. Great service. Generous portion. Cozy ambience. Taste was average... prices are reasonable. Music could be better....

Good quality food, quite pricey, very loud and not the biggest portion sizes. The food is good not as genuine Indian as I thought but is worth checking out.

Incredibly nice staff and wonderful food. Would highly recommend the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken. Pilau rice was amazing! And we got some kind of starter that was chicken in a cheese sauce. All the staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of and are happy with your food. Also have a good selection of drinks for an Indian. Best Indian/Nepalese in the city centre! Will definitely come back. Thank you so much 🙏
N. N.
If you are looking for good indian food then you may want to look somewhere else.
you can expect average quality food at high price.
We order the most spicy dish in there menu and it was just typical dish that you find in any indian restaurant.
As for as ambiance, it's not that great.
Overall I can say it's bit over priced for the quality of food they provide.
R. D.
Absolutely love this place!. They treat you like family from the moment you walk in the restaurant. Beautiful food, everything is delicious. Highly recommend you go!!
A. K.
Delicious food but on take out order only gave me one drink. Should have been two drinks.
s. b.
Good restaurant for Indian food, albeit being a bit on the pricier side. We had peshawari naan, raita, dal tarka, garlic naan, paneer curry and all of them were good. They play good peppy bollywood music in the background.
S. C.
Delicious meal for both of us, but one of the items which was advertised as 'three chili' hot was not very spicy at all. Other than that you can't fault the food at all.
The staff were super friendly and the service was very quick. The place is very beautiful and the atmosphere is great.
A great spot for young or old diners.
J. S.
Service here is a little bit odd and I'd imagine can be a little off-putting but the food is terrific and ultimately not a bad value. I'd return again.
M. M.
Diwali is a very busy Indian resturant.
Food is good ,atmosphere is good , staff will rush you , so be prepared.
A. A.
Best food with family like environment, had so much fun 🎈❤️. Thank you soo much for making our day ❤️❤️
E. E.
Excellent value lunch Monday to Wednesday, €9.90 for two courses. The food was really tasty also.
N. G.
Great food and good value for money! Friendly staff. We were stuffed and couldn't finish everything!
E. N.
Pilau rice is very good. The prices are too high though. 18€ for a main dish with no rice or naan included. It was more affordable before! Food is great but considering the restaurant is not fancy at all, they should lower the prices.
b. g.
We decided to go for an Indian takeaway as our Valentine's meal and chose Diwali to order from. The food was amazing!Everything was so fresh and piping hot when it arrived. Nice big portions too. But they went over and beyond and threw in complimentary soft drinks and a rice pudding to share and wrote happy Valentine's day on the rice pudding. Thanks so much Diwali...will definitely be ordering here again ❤
J. B.
Ordered two Chicken Tikka Masalas off Deliveroo and would highly recommend. You get major value for money and great customer service. The portions are big and the food is gorgeous. They threw in extra popadams, dips and a Canadian beer! Pleasantly surprised. Thank you!!
K. K.
One of our favourite Indian/ Nepalese restaurants. Simple but delicious dishes and the hosts are always friendly and generous! My only criticism is the decor in the restaurant is a bit dated and when it's busy(pre-covid) tables are very close together but we continue to return as we love the food!
A. M.
Ordered from deliveroo. The Bombay aloo is delicious, arrived on time, they threw in a few freebies too.
L. D.
Absolutely amazing food and amazing staff 👌. The food was nothing short of spectacular and the service was so quick too. Such a cosy little restaurant and very welcoming. When we requested the bill we received a complimentary drink, a voucher for our next visit and also a little Christmas card ☺️. The staff went above and beyond for their customers and the food was just unbelievable. Such a great place, one of my new fave spots in Dublin 👌.
C. B.
Great quality food nice staff and great place to eat in city ...starters were to die for ...
C. F.
Had a gorgeous meal here with the family. Would recommend to friends.
J. L.
Lovely atmosphere, as much seating as possible in the space yet doesn't feel like you're crowded with other tables. Great quality food and good variety
D. O.
Full 5 stars - got a delivery and it was an excellent standard . Well done .
R. S.
Food was excellent and the service was amazing. Will be back again!
S. G.
I have ordered many times, pretty good Nepalese and Indian food. Non-veg items are better compared to the veg ones. Overall good service.
D. R.
Ordered online through Deliveroo. The food was beautiful, really tasty, great value & the delivery was really quick. Both main courses were delicious. Also the egg fried rice is one of the best I've tasted. We really appreciated the complimentary drink, poppadoms and dips too. We will definitely be ordering again!
A. D.
sweet spot. offered free drinks twice happy out

Amazing Chicken Momos
Great Staff & Service
Must visit, Highly recommended

Favourite nepalí restaurant in town.
Food is fab!
F.
A place you would bring the wife, that you still actually like as opposed to new girlfriend that you're trying hard to impress!
A bit too crowded for my liking, tables far, far, far too close together. But the food is utterly, authentically delicious. The staff are attentive and the wine list is good. Other than the tables being too close together (it's impossible to have a conversation without involuntarily hearing or listening in on what's being spoken about at the table next to you). On this occasion, I didn't mind the crowded, busy restaurant. I normally prefer more intimate settings! Good though. Very, very good, flavourful food.
A. O.
Lovely lunch here, staff very friendly
I. M.
Delicious food and the staff are so lovely and friendly!!

We ordered food through Deliveroo, food was amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Dublin.
Thank you Diwali for fantastic dinner.
G. F.
Amazing Indian and Nepalese place, tried to book a table online but never got a confirmation email. Decided to go anyway it was Friday night and really busy so we had to stand a little while. The amazing floor manager came over and gave us a complimentary beer and glass of wine.
Got seated and ordered starters and mains. The food was amazing. The tastiest Indian I've ever had in Dublin. Service was excellent. Staff answered any questions we had and made recommendations.
Definitely will make it back again. The floor manager looks like a throwback to the 90s in the best possible way. An absolute gentleman. See you all again soon 😊
m. B.
Costly...but good..
They took really long time to serve one lemon as a side ..
Finally got onion instead of lemon 😂
S. W.
Three times we had to ask the staff to bring us water. It didn't come until our mains were being served so we had none with our starter. The restaurant is very crammed and warm. I adore Indian food but this was all just okay. The korma wasn't as tasty as I've had elsewhere. The restaurant does have nice decor though and a nice atmosphere.
K. K.
I thought the food was very good, service was friendly, and the restaurant was comfortable.

Nice place for quick lunch. Budget and easy lunch.
C. B.
Absolutely amazing food and the service was so quick and nice. Would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice indian meal, the korma was 👌👌👌 complimentary drink was a really appreciated gesture, will be back again soon, Thanks 😊

Absolutely fantastic! Amazing service, super delicious food. Did not have the time to try their desserts, but their food is absolutely delicious. The portions are also very generous. Now, I did order Himalaya Duck, got Himalaya Lamb and on the receipt it said Himalaya Duck, but I did not complain about it as the lamb was delicious! Staff should be a bit more attentive in the future though. Notwithstanding, we are definitely going to go back.
P.
Great taste and value!! Beautiful dishes very tasty and nicely seasoned. I ordered lamb Biryani with Goc naan, which I think were the best I had in Dublin. My favourite so far is Diwali meat platter, worth to try.
M. S.
I went here Saturday night after a few drinks in The Long Hall just up the road. The food in here was amazing, we didn't have a booking but managed to get a seat even though it was quite busy. All the food was delicious and came out very quickly, 660ml bottles of Cobra as well which are equally delicious! I'll definitely be going again, best meal I've had in ages.
T. S.
Really good food. Asked for and got authentic level spice, hard to find places in Dublin that accomodate this request... they don't seem to believe you when you are ask for spicy. :-) Quick service. Limited wine and beer list. Ambiance OK, but very tight quarters. Defiantly will go again.
M. G.
Delicious! Super nice staff. Lovely atmosphere. Each dish was better than the next. We travel around the world and this was one of the best Indian/Nepalese places we have been to. Highly recommended. I wish I lived here because I would return!!!
K.
Great food, decent prices, butter nan was amazing. Cant complain
j. K.
I had ordered veg biryani! And it was awesome! One of the Best biryani so far. All veggies with amazing quantity and everything was so perfect👌👌
P. M.
Excellent food. Really tasty we had chicken Tika masla and chicken curry. I found the TV playing the food channel a bit off putting. I will go again but not facing the TV. Service was not great attentive but amateur, but I can forgive this because the food was so good. We will be back.

Went last night. The food was nice...but we had no cutlery when the starters were served. So we waited. I had mentioned to my friend as our starters arrived the surprising lack of poppadoms/chutneys was disappointing and very odd.
Then poppadoms and chutneys arrived shortly after our missing cutlery and when we had just started our starter. The starter was lamb and quite spicey. It had no pepper sign behind the description but my main had 3 and I was slightly concerned as to what was to come. I didn't need to be as the main was nice but bland. Not nearly as spicey as the starter. So not sure I actually got what I ordered as I hadn't had the dish before to be honesr. We were handed the bill without asking, no dessert menu offered or coffees.
The food was nice.....but the experience wasn't great to be honest. I asked what time they closed and the waiter said 11 but people started to come at 11 and they are open til 2. Very odd again. Would I go again or recommend it? Not sure.
R. D.
I went there for a dinner with my family.
The restaurant was full, but the business owner welcomed us at the entrance and gave us free drinks to make sure we will stay and wait. He also provided a 10% discount.
So we stayed and waited around 30-40 minutes to be sited. A long wait, but we really appreciated the welcome.
The restaurant was small and there was a big, noisy group. Food is very good and authentic. For dessert we ordered some ice-cream and we had a free ice-cream for our nephew. I think they are really professional and know how to treat costumers. I will definitely go back! :)
F. b.
The food there, omg!! So so good. The staff is super nice as well. You're definitely not hungry when you get out, either. If you eat spicy a bit, the three pepper meals are for you, but if you don't want spicy meals there's a big selection for you as well.
W. J.
I couldn't wait to leave the restaurant to write the review. A platter for two kids size. Mango lassy without ice coming with ice and waiter asking to get back the cup to take out the ice( not great to say to customer ) . 1 glass for water for 6 peoples. Am waiting now for 25 minutes to get the food. Will add reviews if required.
Updating : then the food come and it was really nice food . The taste was very good. Bumpingbthis feon 2 to 4 starts
R. P.
Went there last night with my sister. I did not expect it to be packed and therefore did not have a reservation. However, I believe the manager (Ganesh) stated it would be about a 5-10 minutes wait, which I thought was not realistic, but nope he was right. Within 10 minutes we were sitting down. While we were waiting, the staff was still very attentive to us, offering us beverages as we waited and updating is on our table wait. The food was fantastic, but I think the service from the staff blew me away. No one was rushing us to eat faster, in fact they even said to take our time to eat and to eat peacefully! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. It's small, but they make great use of their space and definitely recommend a reservation to make it easier, but they will accommodate if they can.
C. H.
Went there for my birthday and had a beautiful meal. It was extremely busy and we had to ask for napkins and our drinks order but apart from that I would highly recommend it. Very high standard of food and I’m looking forward to going back again.
S. O.
Not bad but could be better.
Tables very close together and very cramped. Mixed platter OK but not great. Prawns didn't seem to be marinated and very small but lamb keema kebab delicious. Went for the garlic chilli massala which was very nice. The lamb in the curry was great quality. Naan bread was one of the nicest I've had on the country.
Would avoid the grilled meat dishes and stick to the curries and probably go when quieter due to it being so cramped.
€55 for two drinks, two mains and one bread (no rice) so not cheap.
A. G.
I have long been a customer here and love it. We get treated like royalty. Got a takeaway during lockdown and it was equally delicious. The best takeaway I've ever had. Repeating the experience next weekend. Thanks everyone
P. G.
Quality of the curry was very bad, paneer must have been very old(and rubbery) Nan was very good.
B. J.
Delicious Nepali food. Great lunch and early bird specials. But most of all, great friendly service. I was here again recently (December 2017) on a busy Christmas Sunday. The place was mobbed with people, and we hadn't made a reservation. Yet the manager and staff remained incredibly calm, and managed to provide us with excellent service. I had the sheek kebab starter, followed by the Himalayan Lamb main course, both of which were delicious. Washed down with some excellent Spanish wine at a very reasonable price. And as if that wasn't enough, we finished our meal with some flaming sambucas, compliments of the house.
Can't wait to go back here again.
P. M.
The food was very good although I could have done with more meat with the main course. I had chicken pokora to start and lamb curry for main course, both tasty. Service is attentive but amateur.
s. z.
Good for local people who want to try Indian, Nepali dishes. However these are customised to fit the taste. very limited seating space makes it packed, don't get surprised if you feel pushy to finish your food to give space to others. Overall a one time visit place
D. K.
My wife's favourite restaurant! A bit tight on space and it kinda feels like you've called down to your neighbours house for Sunday dinner with the auld carpeted floor. Still the food is tasty and the staff are relatively helpful too.
D. B.
Lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff
S. D.
Delicious food, and amazing value for money. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin because of the friendly service, welcoming staff and I always know coming here that I will have a great dinner
J. B.
Nice complimentary beer. Awkwardness of having to order rice separate which was a burden when it arrived without. Still delicious curry
J. W.
We walked in after a really long day of travel and they were happy to serve us evenb though it was less than an hour before closing time. I was really impressed with the quality of the food. Food was quick to come out and the service excellent.
S. D.
Had a very enjoyable experience in this Resturant, service was prompt and polite, the food was very good and extremely tasty one of the best Indian meals I have had in a while in Dublin ! The free round of drinks provide by the very charismatic owner were greatly appreciated and enjoyed !!! Now for the best bit we ate at 5pm on a Saturday so we’re able to take advantage of the early bird special “A starter , main course & side “ €19.99 !!! Unbelievable value ! The only down side would be that the restaurant could be with modernising and some attention to detail regarding cleanliness but overall very good !!!
S. S.
Pleasantly surprised by the courteous service and delicious authentic food!
R. B. H.
One of the best Resturant in the Dublin, good environment, food is very delicious and tasty. Staffs are very friendly.
M. A. K.
Their vegetarian starter platter was very ethnic it reminded me of actual south asian food ! We also the mixed sizzlers 🤤 the kababs are so delicious with lots of spices and favours🤤 the owner couple is very friendly and they checked on us twice if everything was ok or not . Also have to mention that I forgot my bag at their restaurant with laptop wallet and other valuables in it . But the next morning when i went there the handed it over to me untouched ! Also offered me Tea ! Loosing the bag could be a huge problem for me ! Thanks to the Owner and all nice people working there ! Will go back there soon 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Indian food was good and nice place
A. P.
I have heard so many good opinions about this place that I had a really high expectations and was kind of a deception when I finally decided to go. Food is good, maybe the lunch portions are smaller than the dinner menu but still nice and tasty. The location is great but the staff was not very nice... I might try again or I might do not...
C. H.
My go to Indian Restaurant in Dublin. Could not count how many times I have been here as it has been so many. This food and service is excellent and they have good early bird offers Monday to Sunday. My only advice/warning its not that comfortable after 7 and service can get sloppy as it gets so busy.
C. K.
Amazing food, fabulous atmosphere, great staff. They are great value for money. I go here a lot. It's my favourite Indian restaurant in Dublin
D. M.
Very nice ambiance. Tasty food. We visited Dublin for a week an wanted to eat Indian food. Found this restaurant online. I recommend all visitors to this place. They have good Lunch meals plans on Thursday n Friday for 9.99 Euros. 1 starter 1 main with rice or Naan. In total .. m soo full right now!! :)
Y. S.
I have been here a couple of times, and in all occasions the food and hospitality was great. The Nepali and Indian dishes are authentic. The place is quite small and space between tables are very narrow but all of this are taken care with great hospitality and good food. It was a pleasure to find authentic nepali food joint in mid of dublin.
E. M.
A wide variety of delicious food at a very reasonable price. Despite having a booking had to wait a bit for a table but were given a drink on the house, excellent service
B.
We already went twice to this restaurant and we had pleasent surprises both the times. Being an Indian, I was able to appreciate the Nepali cuisine blend with Indian Spices. The Himalayan Sabji and Cheese naan was my favourite and one should try that. For people who love spiciness, you should go with Vindhaloo. Being a Vegetarian I am able to comment only on Vegetarian items but was able to get comments from my friends and the reactions were positive too. You should visit this place once when you are in Dublin.
S. R.
Had Lunch.... Chicken tandoori is excellent and enjoyed the lentil soup too. Staff were very friendly... They have been in business for 12 years. Everything was nice and fresh.

Very bland indian food. I've lived in India for 3 months and regularly enjoy Indian cuisine. Never had a curry that lacked so much flavor and spice. Naan lacked char, texture and nigellaseed flavour. Pilao rice subpar. If you enjoy authentic Indian this is not the place for you. If you like the westernised version with no spicynessI guess this might fit u.
N. B.
We went to this place without any specific recommendation. Although we had arrived late, the personnel was very kind and let us have dinner. Very good food and drink (combra beer). We also liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I recommend it.
I. M.
Overall a good impression. Nothing special.our waiter has the attitude of the one that is bore of the customers and to work in the restaurant.it is a shame because the rest of the team have been kind. Food portion were big and of a good quality
J. L.
Food amazing as usual, staff excellent.
Very accommodating to any dietary needs.
M. K.
Yummy India food...great place
d. w.
Solid Indian restaurant, plenty of locals and visitors enjoy this reliable local. Seeing the same locals again and again is testament to the quality of the food. The restaurant has a good early bird at around €20 for a starter and main.
D. D.
Nice interior. Food was rather mild. Ordered chicken Tikka masala with medium heat/spice. -- it arrived super sweat with a slice of jalopenia on top. Very disappointing. Other dinners in my party liked their spicy dishes. Naan was good. Limited beer selection
d. d.
Really good food on our first but not last visit. Very busy. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.looking forward to next visit. Would recommend.
g. c.
what can I say. was in this restaurant twice in a week and must say I loved it. the quality, service and price in this place make it a must for those seeking a curry. they also throw a free shot at the end of the meal which makes an all round great eatery
A. a. M. A. V.
Ordered Online through Just Eat. Prawn coconut caril and it was amazing, however only it came half portion. 5 small prawns a bit overpriced.
Please next time send the whole portion.
J. L. (.
Totally bonkers. Cramped, badly lit, oddly exhilarating atmosphere, terrible pounding music, amazing food when it eventually arrives. A confusing night out. Mostly good though. I vote yes but hang on to your braces.
A. H.
Amazing authentic food and even better staff!! Couldn’t recommend enough we come here at least once a month, the food gets better every time if that’s even possible!!
A. M.
Food is really good. Pricey enough. Staff not friendly at all .
N. P.
This is by far the best food I have eaten in Dublin! The flavours are amazing!! Pleaee don't change
b. d.
Location and ambience is nice.Staff are prompt. The lunch deal of a started and main with rice or naam @ just under 10 euros is pretty reasonable. However food taste could have been better.Chicket tikka was a bit too sweet .
A. K.
Diwali is a really cosy place with a thick carpet, that your feet sink into comfortable, its a lovely experience, warm and friendly. with a range of food and wine. The Staff were really friendly and non intrusive.
d. e.
Tasty food, but busy restaurant, felt rushed for the whole meal, rice portion for 2 was a tad small, but overall was nice place for a quick dinner in town.
B. M.
Hey there. I'm sitting in Diwali right now. Yes that's me in the yellow Elton John t-shirt. I've asked three times for them to play 'im still standing but I think they think I'm asking for something on the menu with capers'.
My experience in Diwali is fantastic. I thought I was looking on georges street for a venue to play travel scramble...low and behold Diwali was where I landed with my bag of letters. The table is the perfect size for a 1 hour scrabble session..but any longer and the smell of ethnic food can put you off your spelling.
100% recommend for the bathroom facilities although the shower facilities are a little cramped.
J. T.
Too pricey but standard of food is not up-to that price. The food is not too bad nor too good. Customer service isnt up-to mark, no Greetings no thank you absolutely nothing .
S. B.
Lovely food, varied menu, not exorbitantly expensive and really nice atmosphere. This is real Indian cuisine, so stop here for an authentic taste of India!
R. M.
Unreal Indian food. Great staff and lovely atmosphere despite being a little tight for space. Great value for money!
R. A.
Staff is very nice and kind. Food tastes very good but it's quite heavy to digest (even the vegetarian dishes). Small place, if crowded it's really noisy
M. s.
Second time ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo , great food both times , quick order timing and also got a complimentary drink .
M. P.

Place overcrowded, waiter didn't even bother asking us about the food and we felt like being rushed to finish our meal. Not a relaxing place to have a meal.

A. K.
Excellent food & staff always friendly. Can get very busy at peak times so staying a long time may not be an option

Love the food and quick attentive service here. Only negative is that is so tightly packed inside it makes the experience a rushed and noisey dinner which is a shame.
F. s.
An excellent choice, Nepalese twists on your favourite curry and their own cuisine excels. Highly recommended but don't expect this in Kathmandu...
T. Z.
