Had a steak wrap with extra cheese and tenders. The wrap was including to my surprise crunchy tasty peppers and the steak juice was soaking in the tortilla bread. It was a real treat!

Kebab kiddies checking in for quickie here Was expecting a lot of embassy workers in here due to the name, sadly just a lot of questionable characters wearing matching tracksuits, false advertising :/ Kebab itself was a mixed package as we're the efforts of John on the till tonight :( the meat held it's own and can't complain, chewy, flavorsome and hard to swallow, kind of reminded me of something. To compliment the large meat on offer, they kindly added some lovely sauce that just hit the back of your throat in exactly the right way. The veg itself was a nice added touch aswell, crispy and clean, which might help stave off the state my hole will be in the morning. In conclusion, solid kebab but watch out for John's antics if you know what I mean

I had a very tasty chicken wrap with bacon and baked onion rings as sidedish at a very late hour when all other kitchens around were already closed. The crew has been very friendly to me although it's been nearly closing time there, too.

Fantastic chipper. Been going here for more than 30 years and this guy really runs a great show and always developing his business with new ideas, completely modern premises and menu. Staff are there for years which reflects well on the owner. A varied menu even with a great mixed salad and you can even have a beer! Well done!

Good staff, good enough burgers, but the chips... Avoid ordering delivery from their website, takes way longer and is less reliable then deliveryaroo. They immerse the chips in your topping of choice, were the individual fry swims in a small lake of taco beef, or garlic cheese.

The best kebab place in Dublin 4 *period* . I have tried the kebabs, fish & chips, ice creams - dined in & take aways.. Right opposite the American embassy you're not gonna have a space to park but worth for a stroll. Definitely recommend for all, they have a kid's deal too.

Decent food, exactly what you would expect from this type of chip shop and with a nice area to sit down. The majority of the staff are excellent with some grumpy exceptions. It would have gotten a 4 star review but for the fact that when the seated area is in any way busy the standard of the food really drops. This generally happens sound match days, so most customers are on the merry side and don't care but it is a pity in my opinion.

I ordered a snack box online to takeaway in order to try save myself a few previous minutes on my lunch break. The process was easy enough and you need to enter your mobile number and you get sent a code which you enter on the website to confirm the order. You get charged 50c for the pleasure of ordering online, whereas my local takeaway gives you a 10% discount for ordering online (they also have a nifty Android app). The snack box itself was nice enough, not enough white meat for my liking but I could have paid more for a breast of chicken. A nice touch is that they have me some serviettes in the bag and the staff were pleasant.

I ordered the burger & chips, my dinner companion ordered the chicken goujons & chips, and an Oreo milkshake. Their salads, believe it or not, are magnificent. Stuffed with veggies and coleslaw. Service was attentive, portions huge, comfy seats. The quality of the food is OK, not great but in light of the fact it's the only sit-down chipper in Ballsbridge that's open late, it's more than enough to compensate for its occasional slight blandness. This is more like an American style diner than a restaurant. Personally I like the no-frills decor - you can easily imagine security guards, builders and elderly local men congregating here in groups over a fish and chip platter or a burger. It's a refreshing antidote to the stuffy arrogance in some of the nearby D4 eateries and hotels. The coffee is actually better and they do serve dessert so if you're tired of overpriced Starbucks-like cafés, this may be ideal. They have clean and comfy loos. They also deliver on Just Eat but wouldn't bother with that as their food is best eaten fresh out of the grill.

Unfortunately and disappointingly my doner kebab smelled like bin juice and tasted worse :( The chips were ok and my vegetarian companion was not offended by the onion rings. Again though, the lady that served us was excellent and very apologetic about the binny kebab, immediately taking it off the bill and offering something else FOC from the menu. Grand as chippers go. Service could have been faster. They were taking too many delivery orders to keep up at one point and had to leave the phone off the hook - which is good but the queue was already out the door at that stage. Food was nice to be fair.

With a shadow of a doubt it's the best chipper in Dublin 4, if not south Dublin. I'm a regular customer and the food has never once disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the staff are extremely friendlyanf most importantly exptrremly generous with the chips. I haven't tried the diner area yet but I look forward to it in the near future. I would recommend everyone to go.

It's a fast food place so don't expect the food to be healthy. But the fried chicken, fries and milkshakes are good and the booth are nice if you want to sit there with children. The staff was always nice and there is no waiting for the food.

A favourite traditional fish and chips place, sit down on the right in the newly decorated interior or take away through the door on the left hand side. Always friendly staff. A pot of tea with chicken curry and chips is a good, filling choice. The portion of omelette and chips was on the small side though for the price.

Disappointing this evening, shame! Ordinarily Embassy grill is delicious we moved into the area 3 months ago and have visited several times. Tonight though the fresh cod was particularly poor. It was dry and the batter too thick and undercooked. Hopefully this is a one off and not due to any changes that have been made! We will see
