I love healthy food. My husband always order for me, he knows what I like. That day on 22nd of October ,he ordered this burger (it was with lentils, now I don't remember the name) it was so delicious, so crunchy and fresh. I loved it. With the fries amazing. Also I want to say I don't eat normally mayo or ketchup I don't like. But here in this place all is vegan . When I tried the vegan mayo and ketchup it was delicious I was doubting first which sauce are those but in the end I asked and I was so happy because I ate it all and of course it was healthy 😅 . So i am so happy my husband found for me one healthy place to go and enjoy the selection of healthy burgers. I WILL BE BACK SOON. THANK YOU FOR THE CHEFS TO COOK DELICIOUS FOOD. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. 😊

Really nice vegetarian experience at FLIP. Amazing hand-made burger by using organic ingredients rather than processed food. Will re-visit definitely

Spotted this place on someone's Instagram and had to try it. Ordered the vegan burger, fries and a vegan ice cream. All delicious.

Absolutely amazing vegan food! First I got the millet and sweet potato burger, absolutely massive and soo tasty! Then I got the vegan soft serve with passion fruit syrup and wow I’m shocked that it’s vegan. It was so creamy and delicious just like a regular dairy ice cream. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Really recommend this spot it’s fantastic and worth every penny.

I've not been able to have this type of ice cream in many years since I'm allergic to dairy. This has made my day 😍 it was amazing and even my husband who's loyal to dairy thought it was delicious

Delicious and quick vegetarian and vegan food at St Georges Arcade. They have burgers with vegetarian patties and there is an option to go bun-less. They can also make their dishes vegan if you request it. Delicious Cajun-type fries, big space for seating, and kind staff. There is no bathroom inside. They also deliver on Deliveroo!

Had Black bean burger with Vegan cheese. The Flip fries were lovely. Only downside was there was no option to add extra toppings like avocado or mushrooms - hopefully that could be an option in the future. Lovely otherwise.

I still applaude companies like Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods for driving vegan nutrition into the mainstream.
But it still are small personal endeavors like FLIP that prove that vegan nutrition does not stop at imitating old protein sources.
It starts with inventing literally beyond them.
All respect to that feat!

I decided to try this new vegetarian burger place for lunch today. Disappointingly, it's not entirely vegan. One of their four burgers has feta cheese, and dairy cheese is an optional extra on all the burgers. So is vegan cheese at a higher price!
The prices are a little steep for what is a fairly no-frills operation, but they're not outrageous for the city centre.
The food looked pretty good (See photo). Those are not sweet potato fries, nor are they coated in paprika. They're just seriously overcooked. That seems to be the house style and may appeal to some people, but I prefer mine golden and crispy. They were not at all burnt and tasted okay; just not as nice as regular fries.
I chose the "improver," a red lentil and brown rice burger. My first attempt at tackling it did not go well. The innards slid out as I tried to take a bite, and I had to reassemble it. I left out the abundance of cucumber pieces as I don't care for cucumber, and had not expected to find any in my burger. I held on more firmly the second time and managed to get a reasonable mouthful. The bun used was unusually thick, so a lot of what I ate was bread. The patty itself was bland and lukewarm. The middle was barely above room temperature. It wasn't unpleasant and I ate everything (except the cucumber) but I was generally unimpressed.
This is a brand new establishment and some of the above may be teething troubles. Getting the serving temperature right is important but easy to get wrong. And perhaps the recipes will be tweaked based on feedback but, overall, I was very disappointed with Flip.
The meal I had would have delighted me had I found it on the menu of a country pub five years ago, but for a Dublin City centre establishment in 2020, it's just not good enough. There are at least five better vegan burgers to be had within 300 m of Flip.
