A good place for quality Vegetarian and Vegan food. Quite a few nice options to choose from. Adequate portion quantity even if we opt for a small plate. Staffs are courteous and the place is neatly maintained.
A. A. K.
OMG! Food super tasty and vegan! They also have vegetarian options. Ate a large platter with rice, tofu, veggies and potato casserole. Only 11.95 eu. They also offer tea, coffee and cakes. If you are vegan, don't miss it.
There are a few tables to seat outside, bathroom super clean.

A must go in Dublin.
Peaceful atmosphere.
I visited the temple upstairs.
So, you get food and food for soul as well.
Beautiful!!!
B.
This is part of iskcon temple in Dublin city center. Here you can get the vaishno food (without onion and garlic) at good price. Chanting in this temple makes you feel calm and happy. The devotee of Krishna will surely feel happiness over there
G. K.
Absolutely unreal. The food was delicious and the portions were extremely generous. An oasis of calm amidst the madness of central Dublin.
G. G.
Govinda's offers a lot of great choices for vegetarians and vegans at an affordable price. The servings are big, even if you opt for the size small plate, and you can pick and mix dishes into one whole serving. Highly recommend their samosas!
L.
Really lucky that we found this! There's a good choice of vegetarian, many of them vegan, dishes, a lot of them with an Indian touch. The portions were really big for a good prize in comparison to other restaurants. You could also combine several dishes as you liked. The food was tasty and the vegan brownie was also delicious! Definitely recommend this small restaurant!
P.
Nice clean premises, tasty, healthy meals and pleasant staff.
I. K.
Delicious and tasty. Vegan and vegetarian. Even the small portion is a large one and cost only 6.5 euro. Medium plate portion is humongous, can feed 2 persons and cost only 9 euro. Highly recommended this place. I eat there regularly and they always surprise me with the mixture of spices and really good food taste.

It can be surprisingly hard to get good vegetarian food in Dublin. One night I was walked about for 30 minutes trying to find something other than the usual bland vegetarian option and I found Govindas.
I've seen Govindas restaurants in London and this is very similar. The food here is great, the portions generous and all very reasonably priced. There's three size options S, M or L. Even the small was just about as much as I can manage. That's for €7.50!
The service is really friendly as well.
One thing to keep on mind is that they sometimes run out of food. One night I didn't come till about 7pm and left disappointed because there wasn't enough to make up a plate.
S. B.
Small plate is actually huge! Really good food. ❤️
R. E.
A huge portion of delicious vegetarian food for 8.95! The paneer was particularly good. I'll definitely be back next time I need a good feed.
V.
Incredible place! Everything so tasty! And the amount of food in the small plate is enough. Good value for place. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians 💕
L. W.
Ready to eat vegetarian vegan Indian food. Small portion was plenty and everything was delicious
x. m.
Been coming for years. Delicious vegan and vegetarian food , the paneer is to die for and I have eaten it in many countries . Very well priced , large portions. Relaxed ambience off a busy Dublin street .
A. H.
Govindas offer delicious vegetarian and vegan food for quality prices. They always fill the plate so u wont leave hungry. The staff sing and chant hari chrishna. Its a lovely place to eat ...and u can sit outside and have a smoke.
H. S.
If you want to try out vegterian Indian food (without much spicy added) then Govinda's is the must vist Restaurant in Dublin...
Waiting time around 5-10 min. Ambiance is very nice, with krishna chanting in the back ground... Place is very peaceful, friendly staff, good, hot and healthy food. Order small meal, but its more than enough for one person, served with white rice, panner masala or tofu, mix Vegetables fry, white kidney bean masala, chesse Mangobean ( not sure about the name). Overall very nice food.
M. B.
If you are in the city center, this is the place to go for vegan/vegetarian food.
Warm, quality food. The inside is warm and comfortable. Enough space to spread out for Covid safety as well. Affordable.
G. C.
Simply wonderful. A tasty selection of a variety of vegetarian/vegan dishes over a plate for a fair price. The staff was super nice and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. I would love to repeat the experience!
C. H.
Ate here today for first time, my (omni) husband and I (vegan) both loved it. I had the small plate and my husband had medium and it was an epic feast. The staff were v friendly and helpful, food very well priced for the portion sizes. We will happily go back here again.
R. C. M.
Great vegetarian and vegan food. You can choose any combination of the daily offers and the price is fixed. Bear in mind that the small plate which costs around 6 euros is really well served!
E. B.
Lovely food, relaxing music and a vegetarian menu that can't be beat. Eating here physically makes you feel better. Go for a small plate. You won't leave hungry. The place feeds the homeless with their leftovers. Well worth a visit
I. H.
Always friendly, always plenty. Vegan and vegetarian options, this is the "small plate". Full of tofu, potatoes, brown rice, and many delicious vegetables. The best experience for "comfort food" in my opinion. Very highly recommended!
S. S.
Very very reasonable prices for simple but tasty vegetarian and vegan food. Pictured is the small portion (6.50€ I believe) but it was already too much for just me! The place itself is quite plain, but who cares when the food is good.
U. H.
Have been going there for many years now. Delicious vegetarian food , fresh and very tasty.
Reasonably priced. Many options to choose from.
N. J.
Food is delicious, very big portions even on small plate and good choice of vegan and vegetarian. It is not 5 star restaurant but staff is friendly and you are getting very positive atmosphere in there.
G. T.
Amazing tasty Vegetarian / Vegan food. Value for money. Must visit once. Heart of the city centre , so idle location & easy to find.
G. U.
Good to see so many vegetarian takes on meat dishes ( e.g. Vegetarian lasagne with beans and egg plants instead of mince). Nice comfort food. Taste wise, not as impressive as e.g. Welsh / London Indian restaurants.
S. G.
Lovely, unique and humble restaurant. High quality, fresh and flavourful food with affordable prices. The gentleman was very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Their samosa was the nicest I’ve ever eaten. Also looks like it will be very comfortable, clean and cozy when indoor dining is on the cards.
Need more authentic and independent places like this in Dublin.
j. a.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years, I ussher to be as broke as a student live gets and thanks to this guys I had dinner more than a few times thanks to their cheap prices before closing, their food is unreal, the ambient is exelent and they re decorated to have a more modern vibe without losing their minimalistic and beautiful simple aesthetics
S. G.
Best place to have Vegetarian and Vegan food in Dublin.
You can have Indian taste in Dublin.
J. F.
Absolutely magnificent food. All Vegetarian or Vegan. Great value with a small plate for around 8 EU and large for 11 EU. Hare Krishna
N. W.
Best value resturant in Dublin by Far.
Beautiful vegan and vegetarian food, lovely staff and it's no surprise the boss is the God of Love 💚 really really impressed .
Hare Krishna 💚🙏💛
S. B.
Govinda's is a restaurant service run by ISKCON where you get pure Vegetarian and Vegan dishes, very tasty and pure food. With Lord Krishna's blessings it is always great experience buying food from here. Hare Krsna.
D. D.
Delicious, tasty and full of flavour. I have been eating here for many years , and always leave satisfied, small plate gos a long way.
A. B.
Govinda is not just a restaurant, it's a whole experience. Plenty of awesome veggie and vegan options 🐮🙏✨
a. d.
Hare krisha bhajan music in the background gives you the devine ambience. Loved the vegetarian lasagne.
F. F.
the most affordable and nicest vegan food available ! super welcoming and comfortable ambiance. and super central in the city . I always recommend it and bring my friends.
s.
Very delicious and affordable vegan food! Nice and knowledgeable staff.
S. T.
Reasonable price, at home restaurant and brilliant dish. Quite an amount of food will be served, all so tasty. Salad could be served separately...
R. R. K.
Best vegetarian restaurant in Dublin. Nice atmosphere, food is delicious, and not expensive.
R. B.
I really like this kind of casual restaurants. The food is well prepared and it is tasty. I will comeback soon.
S. J.
Lovely vegan food and new fresh looking restaurant.
M.
Food is decent but one of the men that works there is rude and unpleasant.
E. C.
Amazing value, super positive vibes, healthy Sattvic food
s. s.
If your vegetarian and looking for a place to eat don't look any further. This place is fantastic. Must go .
A. C.
I’m neither vegan nor vegetarian, but love eating here. I always ask for a ‘bit of everything’. My kids adore it too. We eat much less meat at home as a direct result of how tasty the food is here. We go veggie maybe three times a week because we now know it’s easy to cook gorgeous dinners with no harm to our animal friends. Vegans and Vegetarians will already love this place. But for foodies who don’t know it, please...try it. It’s fabulous food, great value, and may swing you to go veggie a few nights a week too. Highly recommended. Wonderful staff. No frills. Pure honest grub. 👍🏻
M. Y.
Amazing food. Massive portions value for money! Wounderful vegan options x
H.
great vegan food, nice casual atmosphere 😊
L. A.
Such a peaceful place, it is my go-to place to eat in town. I love that it has both vegan and vegetarian meals and desserts. I think the portion sizes are great for their price and the staff are extremely optimistic and polite! Food is so delicious. I love it.
O. P.
It is definitely a good place to go for vegan food. The food is good but not fantastic (it is food you can make at home) and the portion are generous.
E. K. (.
Absolutely delicious, healthy, cheap and vegetarian/vegan dishes. Highly recommended 👌👍👏
L. K.
Govindas is amazing, healthy, ethical food and such good value, I always leave stuffed and content. I recommend this place to everyone I meet.
K. B.
Best place for a hearty vegetarian/vegan food for a good price.
I. R.
Very nice food and price! We ate 3 people with the big sice, and the tasty was fantastic.
D. R. M.
One of its kind restaurant in Ireland.... Joy for strict vegetarians
J. B.
Wonderful, low-key food. Recently renovated (2020) and feels a lot nicer.
y.
Fabulous taste! Great portions. Great healthy choices. I always get my lunch there if I'm around the area. They also do good size boxes for take away. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
C. F.
Very tasty little place. I love the fact that it’s grab and go if you want which is nice on a lunch hour. Good selection of vegan options and desserts as well. I had a veggie curry, potatoes and Dahl over some rice. Will definitely be going again! Love the rustic old school feel inside.
V. N.
This is not the usual restaurant style serving. This is a typical restaurant where u find serving is like filling the plate in a buffet. Awesome veggie dishes. Medium special plate can't be finished off by a single person. Good and tasty food. The cheapest and best option to have a sumptuous dinner. Enjoy the visit
L. L.
My favourite place for vegeterian meal in Dublin!
L.
Great spot for cheap veggie eats! Go in ask for your size and portions and they fill up the container or plate.
I had one of the potato dishes with a tomato paneer cheese dish and rice. Both were very filling and good.
Nice spot to stop in when you are by yourself or with friends before you go to the Academy.
Friendly staff that help you pick what’s good.
B.
One of my favorite places to eat in Dublin, and I'm not even vegetarian or vegan. Everything here is delicious, filling, healthy, and cheap; a combination thats very hard to find in Dublin!
K. A. M.
This is a great place for a quick bite to eat. They have great price options depending on how hungry and the food is always tasty. It's great if you are dining alone as its cost and friendly but always good with friends if you want to sit and chat. Its all veggie or vegan but it will definitely appeal to all. Its mostly curry type foods with rice and beans. Dish of the day is often a scrumptious pasta or potato bake.
D. H.
Very nice lunch place. If your looking for vegetarian all you can eat you get it almost there. They don't have all you can eat buffet but three different sizes of portions. And one thing is for sure, the first and smallest size of those portions is a big one for the average vegetarian.
Very good value for little money.
G. M.
This is the best vegetarian restaurant in town. Their food is supper tasty and wholesome. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm and you always feel good afterwards
M. S.
Tasty, cheap, hearty and healthy vegan food. They charge you based on plate size and they fill it up. I recommend you don't mix too many different foods in one plate (same recommendation if eating at home) for easier digestion.
L. A.
Highly recommend! It's definitely my favourite place to eat when I'm in town, no need for any reservations, just come, pick out your food (good portion for a very good price!) Maybe a salad or cake on the side, and enjoy right away. The place is beautiful too, so that's always a plus! :)
K. L.
Cheap, delicious, huge portions, in the middle of the city... seems too good to be true! But it is true! I was filled with a variety of delicious hot vegetarian food all for only 6.5 euros. It was considered a small plate and my large appetite was completely satisfied. I will be coming back next time I'm in Dublin for sure!
A. D.
By far the best "feels-like-home" Indian food on the north side of the river. Not only that, but a lot of their menu is vegan-friendly. I had two vegan curries, brown rice and dal on a "small" plate which could easily feed 2 people for €6.50.
The food tastes great and is super filling for a really affordable price.
Pros:
- Delicious food
- Always 2+ vegan options
- Super affordable
- Takeaway option
Cons:
- N/A
We are *definitely* coming back!
G. R.
Authentic Indian food.
Nice panneer
s. k.
Nice serene calm warm and welcoming staff's in the restaurant. If one wants to have vegan food strictly. Then no doubt this is the ideal place with restaurant at the bottom and Indian temple of worship Iskcon on top most floor.
S. O.
Great place to grab a reasonably priced veggie or vegan Indian dish. We eat here frequently as it suits our dietary requirements, but that's not to say its not tasty. Portion sizes are decent as well, so expect to be well fed.
E. C.
It's an extremely lovely restaurant to get vegetarian food. I was there with a friend that recommended me the place and I don't regret it at all. I had a small plate with many items but my favorite of them all was the tofu. The plate had so much food I couldn't finish it and it was very inexpensive as well.
K. J.
The only pure vegetarian food option in Dublin.
A. M. W.
Amazing food for vegans and vegetarians! Nice and cosy place, perfect for lunch . Lovely staff. Good prices. I would recommend to everyone!
R. M.
Their assorted buffet of vegetarian food is reliably delicious. Real comfort food. Generous portions, even with the "small" plate. I love the paneer cheese and white rice. Highly recommended.
K. S.
Fantastic vegetarian and vegan canteen style restaurant. The scalloped potatoe bake and paneer cheese in tomato are all dishes to die for. I had a tomato and butter bean dish today, it was beautifully spiced. The food is also very reasonably priced.
A. W.
Great food, staff and vibe! Traditional food of the temples. Haribol
S. M.
World's most delicious vegetarian food
T. W.
Really tasty vegetarian food and very cheap too. The portions are huge, we were hungry and even the small was almost too much. I went to order a side salad and pay for this separately, to be told it was fine as I’d ordered the mains I didn’t need to pay - bargain! Would definitely come back.
L. K.
It's a lovely canteen style place with very reasonable prices.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to eat anything, but cake, here, because every dish had mustard seeds in it. But those who did ate, prised it. Portions are very generous.
I had a blueberry vegan cheesecake and it made up for dinner.
It's not a fancy place for date or something. It's a centrally located budget place for hungry vegetarian.
S. S.
I would have given it 5 in the past. I'm not sure I like the revamped inside. Definitely not as cosy or atmospheric. Looks a bit hipster now. Also the servings are way smaller now which is a big let down. Still obviously very nice vegetarian food and staff. But the overall experience has definitely gone down since they reopened.
V. L. B.
The food was fresh, very good and the desert was perfect! It is worth going there for an apple pie!
A. M.
Great value vegetarian food. Delicious, varied with fresh seasonal veg. A small plate for Euro 6.50 fills me for the entire day. Not spicy but well seasoned Indian/Bangladeshi food. Very quick service too!
M. G.
Very cheap and good Indian fusion and vegetarian restaurant. You can choose between a small, medium or big plate. The portions are very generous so the smallest plate was the biggest I could take. The restaurant is located on a perpendicular street to O’Connell street.
L. F.
Amazing food always very consistent. Great value for the generous portions you are given, every time I visit Dublin I come to Govinda's. I would suggest trying a bit of everything they have to offer as it is all super tasty !
E. v. B.
Great food for a good price.
J. C.
Yeah I go here once a week. I'm a big guy and the small plate is loads @ €6.50. The Mata Paneer is fairly outstanding, and they normally have a great tray bake too. This place makes me very happy. And the staff are sound 😀😀😀
J. C.
Govinda's was a friends recommendation and what a nice place to go!
The price is very good, the food is tasty (the small portion -around 6 euros - the one I always get - is VERY generous and you can choose a bit of everything) and I love their Lassi (iogurt drink) too!
Everything is vegetarian ,but even meat eaters enjoy the food.
The food is not spicy.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very casual and relaxed with calm music. A nice place to have a bite alone or with friends.
L. J.
I have been meeting friends in Govindas since I was at college and have always loved it. It is a bit like an exotic canteen but the food which is traditional Indian is all completely vegan. This place was where I learnt I loved tofu. At college we ate there because we were broke, now I go just because I love it.
E. C.
To the girl I kept making eye contact with while we ate our food (29/10/18 around 2pm), you seemed like a lovely human being and I'd love to get in contact with you. The restaurant itself is glorious, great food, great price, massive portions! Would recommend!
R. A.
As usual, tasty vegetarian and vegan food, a small plate should fill you and very budget set up. I visit Govindas every now and then. It's basically a place for a quick lunch.
G. F.
Super, super tasty vegetarian food.
Casual place, great for lunch.
I often share a medium plate (€10 if I recall correctly) with 1 friend, or a large plate with 2 (€15).
J. C.
I am traveling from Canada just passing through Ireland for a few days and when I arrived I asked my hostel for a vegan recommendation and they told me about this place. I was glade they told me about it because the food here was amazing! With so much variety of items to choose from stacking up your plate with such an affordable amount knowing that you will be full for the rest of the day. The man who served me was named Alak who was very kind to me and shared a few stories of his years of traveling and the journey that took him to where he was and where he is today. It's wonderful to know that there is always a place I can come to and eat good VEGAN food when ever visiting Dublin and best of all to be able to chat with my new friend Alak.
G. P.
Great vegetarian food and inspiring people!
V. J.
This is a traditional Hare Krishna food place.
Very good value for a delicious & hearty vegetarian meal. Ask for a bit of everything, the portions are generous. I sometimes find the small plate too big.
J. P.
Vegan and vegetarian spot - amazing place which serves us since long ever since we have been landing in Dublin
E. E.
Lots of tasty food, consistently good..
A. B.
The place has been freshly done up and the food today was the best I've had there. Fantastic value veggie meal. 5 stars
A. B.
Really nice food and even nicer staff. Affordable, clean relaxed space and a good place to bring your veggie and vegan friends.
s. f.
Nothing is greater in life than getting Krsna prasad. .
M. C.
Love this place. I missed it so much and now I can enjoy it again!!! Food is yummy, best options for vegans, vegetarians and non vegetarians as well :)
H. S.
Lovely food, very affordable.
p. n.
Vegan delicious food, and abundance of it, and what a joy to eat among other like-minded people who put an animal's well-being above humans' self centred whims, doing one's part to reduce the catastrophic levels of abuse and suffering imposed on innocent animals in their billions, their blood spilling for burgers. Terrific value in addition to all that means it is a no-brainer, go, eat, enjoy!
A. H.
A complete vegitarian and vegan or plant based cuisine non spicy restaurant. With soothing classical music, nice environment. Moderate price for small (€7.95)and large meals(€10).
G. B.
I hadn't been in years but so happy to rediscover this gem in the city centre. Fab veggie food, great value, big portions, lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Dublin.
M. N. É.
My lunchtime small plate was delicious and is very good value
A. K.
The place has such a positive vibe. The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing! Their self made cheese is just delicious. Very cheap for such big portions. Totally recommended.
a. l.
Go to vegetarian/vegan spot. Food is always delicious, service with a smile and at a very reasonable price too considering the size of the portions!
I love govindas❤️❤️❤️❤️
C. F.
Delicious hearty wholesome food served up in seconds. Great prices. Huge portions. A lot of the dishes are vegan too. Govinda's ticks all the boxes!
K. A.
Best vege place in Ireland, super sizes, prices are very low, best staff, and if u try their cakes, u will like to marry their chef:-)
M. K.
I have to say I change my 4 star for 5,cause its totally worth it. Place is look much better and nicer after refurbished and food is really tasty. Never disapointet.
A. K.
Good hearty meals at low price. Good quality and portion size. There are always lots of people eating there so sometimes you might have to wait for a table to sit down if you are not alone.
A. C.
Portions were alot smaller than before when you got everything on a plate. Now it's a thin metal dish. Was hungry after lunch which was disappointing as used love going there for lunch.
M. D.
Nice vegetarian food but not spicy enough for us. Prices very good. It's located just off o Connell St.
V. D.
My favourite place to eat in Dublin. When you feel like stocking up on flavour and veggies PLUS super cheap and huge portions... head to Govindas. It's kind of a mind and body experience!
J. M. M.
Incredible nice and cheap food! You get loads of nice veggies, tofu and rice and they make sure you won't go home hungry. A lovely place which I highly recommend! :)
S. K.
Im not even a vegan but I love this place, the small plate is such good value for money and the food is amazing.
O. V.
Love this place. Some people find it a bit dark and uncozy but I love it.Vegan and vegetarian dishes. No meat.ground and first floor for seatings.you can order for take away or seat in.Both options. 6.50 for a huge plate of meat free goodies
S. S.
Best food in Dublin. Huge portions and cheap prices . You can get like 4/5 types of food on the same plate if you like a variety. I eat here weekly
B.
This restaurant contains awesome pure vegetarian food of Indian origins without Onion and Garlic. This restaurant is owned by ISKCON and the paintings in the wall are feast for eyes and the Krishna Music is feast for your ears. You will get a good feast for your mouth, eyes, ears and soul. Try the Satvic food once in your lifetime and you will not regret.
T. V. S.
this is and has been my favorite restaurant in Dublin for years! I highly recommend it for a big plate of healthy food for a good price. Love the music too. 😊
a. c.
Used go there every day for lunch. Now portion size is smaller and they changed plates . Got small metal dish with three options for 8 euro for lunch and was still hungry after.
R. N.
Always good vegetarian food
V. P.
Excellent atmosphere with soothing music. The food is very good with large portions at a relatively cheap price. A very good place for vegans and vegetarians.
G. K.
You can find more variety of items in abbey street's Govindas than any other govindas. But I'm sorry to say this, the food is not that great when compared to aungier street's govinda's. The govinda's at aungier street is filled with godly environment. The staff are friendly though.
S. B. L.
All vegetarian, lots of vegan options. Really good value and great portion sizes. Good for a casual dinner or lunch. Staff really friendly.
B. P.
This place was a bit of a hidden gem, vegetarian but fantastic food all round and the staff are friendly too. I highly recommend giving it a go if you’re in the area!
S. P.
Great vegetarian food at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and the place is cozy. I would definitely recommend this place for a lunch break if you're near O'Connell Street.
B. K.
Simple, tasty, vegan and vegetarian food for folks on a budget. Don't expect spicy flavours! The small plate is great value.
A. C.
I regularly go here for lunch and I cannot fault it - delicious, tasty food, really generous portions and a lovely calm atmosphere. Go for a feed - you won't be disappointed!
A.
Nice Govinda's vegan / veggie fare. Big portions, very good value. Comfortable for solo dining.
m. m.
Have always wanted to try a vegetarian lunch so as I was passing Govindas on Abbey Street, in I popped..I was told a while back that Govindas is a traditional Indian restaurant but I think it's a bit rougher than that.To put it mildly it could do with some more lighting and a lick of paint..the food is served like a school dinner system..you queue up with your plate and point to what you want from the hot plate or the cold counter..You can pick a large plate or a small one..In saying that the food is plentiful and tastes really really well..as it was lunchtime the place filled up very quickly which is usually a good sign and they all seemed to be regulars judging by the chat with the people behind the counter..For a restaurant that is just off O'Connell Street the price of lunch was surprisingly cheap..because of this and the variety of food another visit is definitely on the cards
P. F.
I just think the food is great
S. A.
Excellent food and reasonable prices. If you are a vegetarian and are need some real food then this is the place to go. Portions are also very large.
c. a.
Vegan and vegetarian options only. Owned and operated by the hari krisnas. Very big portions and excellent value. I went for the medium sided plate and the food was stocked up.
f.
The one at aungier street had student plates and student discounts.but it's closed now .
The current one at abbey street doesn't have student plates and student discount. The portion size has also decreased and they jacked up the prices a bit. A letdown overall!!
A. G.
On deliveroo they need to add the option of a bowl of dhal with bread.... not everyone wants dhal with rice. Otherwise the food is great and excellent value for money!
C. K.
Always great. Reasonable price and good quality. Moreover they have vegan desert! I really love it.
Highly recommend!
I. B.
Delicious. I love the different flavours mixing and matching. The portions are humongous, a large could feed a family. I’d eat here daily if I could.
c. b.
My favourite place to grab lunch if I'm hungry in town. Can't go wrong with their small plate (it's a massive serving).
G. M. K.
Delicious and nutritious vegetarian food, lovely staff, good value, and with a sound business model; Govindas has become a staple in my diet.
P. A.
If you are visiting Dublin and you are a vegetarian, you must visit this restaurant. There are other options too but this is very good and you get tasty and hygienic food served at very reasonable price.
D. M. O.
As a vegan, I'm not really very fond of this place. Food is very average. Staff are nice but not very customer service trained. Not romantic or very pleasant interior.. Quite Basic.
S. R.
Very healthy, nutritious and flavorful vegetarian/vegan food. Quantity very satisfactory for money. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
S. P.
Great food, full of different flavours, vegan and gluten free options. Good value for money
A. Z.
The food was so delicious. Lovely staff and nice little place to eat when in city centre! 👌👍
o.
Totally awesome vegan and veggie food at a superb bargain price great quality and big portions

Lovely vegetarian food with vegan options available. If you are having soup, try the homemade bread, it's amazing!
R. G.
Cheap and vegetably indian food ! Nothing too spicy and very generous servings, staff helpful and welcoming.
I recommend!
S. N. R.
Fantastic food! So rare to find vegetarian food with flavour! Cheap for portion sizes too!
A. R. X.
I love the food there and the staff there! Good food for your body and soul for cheap. Just lose one star because the toilet is kind of dirty.
I. T.
Fantastic vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Great for lunch, really good value for money and great service. Highly recommended
k. s.
Tasty Indian Veg meal for 6.5 euros is an awesome payback, the taste is good and the varieties you receive within your plate is worth spending
G. f. T.
Good food, decent prices. Healthy as well. Order a plate size and you get options of what to get, no menu per se.
P. S.
Awesome value for the special plate and such great vegetarian food. The paneer is amazing. Such healthy variety.
P. J. D.

Best veggie restaurant in Dublin
i.
Very interesting place and culture.
M. K.
The place is an excellent eatery! It has great location and exceptional value for money. The dishes are very filling but not heavy; the medium size plate was perfect for me. If you expect the 'original' Indian dishes as we know them, like all kids of curries, then this place is different. It's more kinda 'healing through food' rather than being blasted with spices.
a. g.
Great vegetarian food
J. P.
Beautiful food! Came a bit late so there wasnt as much choice but it meant we got a massive tub of food for only €3 each with some bread! Vegan options for my friend were excellent as well, and as a meat eater I loved it! Would recommend definitely.
