Very average and ordinary food like most buffets, nothing worth remembering other than that the place was over crowded when we last visited pre-covid.

A chinese All You Can Eat Buffee. Is a very good place situated in Dublin City Centre. A great selection of foods and deserts, especially on desserts is worth having Icecream and cake and some delicious puddings. Everything is prepared fresh and food just sells big time. They are quite busy and if you want to have a good variety of choices then is one of the places to go and enjoy a meal and a pint. Before you are seated you have to pay for food. You can pay cash or by debit/credit card but it should be a minimum of 10€ in order to process a payment by card. It is displayed at the cashiwr register.

At Jimmy's you will always find freshly prepared food. The buffet is always refilled with hot food. The variety is satisfying and the prices are affordable. The only downside is that the place gets quite crowded sometimes and staff is insufficient. I totally recommend this place for a feast with friends!

Jimmy Chungs is Closed. All furniture kept for Aution.
At Dublin city centre.
Best place for all you can eat.
Asian food at most.
Friendly staff, awesome food, quality serving, affordably price.

We had a very good experience here and many choices on offer from starters, main and dessert for €12.90... drinks extra. Very busy place and you may feel a bit under pressure while dining, as plates are very quickly taken from your table as you finish your meal.
A. B.
All you can eat buffet. Small place in the heart of Dublin. Good variety of food and desserts.

Chinese trademark: The buffet. Lots of options, excluding fish and crawfish.(or I might have visited them in such a day: FRI). Drinks are extra. Icecream is only 1 option, plain. Deserts are excellent with few cake options. I am giving them 4 stars only because, they didn't have Egg drop soup, which is Original Chinese soup dish.

Great deal for students 👍👌 food is quite fresh and delicious. Employees are thorough about cleanliness at the buffet stations and tables.

Place is packed. We booked a table before, so it was handy. Good food. Good vibes

Fried stuff was good and the sauces too, the stir-fry wasn't this well prepared and maybe the noodles were quite heavy food. I've been to better buffets in Spain. They have to lower the drinks a bit too. The staff was very respectful and the atmosphere was pleasant. Thank you for the good meal ! 😊

Decent Asian cuisine buffet.. I went to this place couple of times with my family, every time food was fresh and good. Freshness is expected as this place is very busy. Probably not good for an romantic dinner, but good for sure if you are hungry and fancy to try new flavors. Only thing I didn't like was bit worn (scratched) plates and place could be little bit more clean. Don't get me wrong, still acceptable level, however far from proper restaurant level. Pros are variety of: Asian flavors, selection of fruits and vegetables, ice creams and desserts. All this in reasonable price. Every time I went to this place my bill never go above 50 quid in total. Two adults and three kids , no fancy drinks just a jug of water.

Lovely casual atmosphere. I love being able to eat a bit of everything instead of having to commit to one dish. The desserts are all lovely, especially the apple crumble. During dinner time, sushi is also served so don't miss it if you're there!
I. M. C.
A lot of foods to choose from: appetizers, main meals spicy or mild, some vegetarian options as well, deserts were fried banana, cheesecake, tiny sweet puddings and fruit salad. The salmon dish that I had was really good. All food fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and available. I'll definitely go again. The place was clean.
A. K.
Always fun to go to, great menu options, fun on weekends. Lots of fun at Christmas and other major holidays.
+ Sushi, veggie options, BBQ wings, desserts (banana fritters!)
- No idea if dishes are gluten-free and staff don't seem to care much.

This place is a good place for a big lunch with your friends if you're going out at night and want to have a big filling meal beforehand. Starters and main courses are really good and usually really fresh especially at peak times. Desserts are a bit of a let down. The cakes are disappointing because they taste like whatever they were stored in the fridge with. The apple crumble has almost no sugar but it does go well with the soft serve ice cream. The soft serve ice cream is a welcome treat but you can't get it for yourself. You have to wait for a member of staff to walk by and notice you're waiting for ice cream. A few years ago you could serve yourself. It's a bit like going to a petrol station after 10 pm and having to speak to someone through a hatch and explain what your late night junk food of choice is!!
N. C.
Top class Chinese buffet. Very Clean. Great choice of dishes. Great selection of deserts and starters. There is a strong possibility that you will overeat here.
I would have given it 5 stars but I found that the chicken curry on this occasion was a little watery. It was still tasty.
I would definitely visit again.
M. B.
It was €11.90 for me and my friends to get in. We were absolutely amazed by the variety of food that was on offer. The restaurant was busy yet the atmosphere still seemed calm and relaxed. The waiters were always on the ball and were very polite and friendly.

We've been here a few times over the years, when visiting Dublin. It is a very busy 'all you can eat' self serve, Asian restaurant.
There is no onsite parking and getting somewhere close to safely leave the car is a nightmare.
Service is done with military precision. Buffet tables promptly refilled and clearing away at the end of the night is done with lightening speed!!
The only human interaction you get from the staff is a fast table allocation, drinks order and an equally speedy bill settlement.
Expect no personal service here, it's all about the 'all you can eat' food spread over the buffet tables. You are left to discover them alone.
That said, the food is varied and nice. The salads, sushi and desserts are my dishes. The fried starters, like spring rolls and sloppy curried mains I avoid.
Not a bad place to eat. It's usually very busy and can get very noisy when the crowds pack in.
S. M.
Jimmy Chung's is somewhere I've been going for years. Lovely surroundings, nice toilets, amazing, attentive staff who are always ready to clear away your table right away and I love the prawns, mussels and squid. I'm taking a star off because sometimes the food can be below its usual standard (I think it depends on the chef) but I haven't been in a while and today it was pretty good. The deserts are limited (don't get the cake slices as they are very dry - go for the puddings or cheesecake). If you're looking for a buffet with good desserts you're better off going to Global or Cosmo. Also make sure to go after 5, as the good food is served from 5 onwards (the food they serve earlier than 5 isn't that great).
T.
"All you can eat" buffet style Chinese restaurant on Eden Quay, close to O'Connell bridge. Plenty of food options, great if you like a lot of choice. The big problem is everything seems to taste the same, no real flavour, everything a bit bland, as if everything cooked in the same sauce. A range of desserts also available, but the quality is poor. Staff are professional and friendly. Lunch costs around €13.
r. d.
If you are extremely hungry for weeks that is place for you. Great as usual. Wide choice of different dishes for all tastes. But missing Mongolian lamb. It was a hit! Sushi were very basic. But what do you want, guys for unlimited dinner for 14.90? And my advice to the beginners just be careful and stop when you feel that you are full.
C.
First of all the food here is amazing. Would definitely recommend the spicy shredded chicken. I came here yesterday at a bit of an awkward time as it was just 30 mins before dinner time started which was fine, the waitress explained all of this. Two customers didn't understand and claimed the waitress was "rushing" them so they treated her like dirt. It was shocking to see the rudeness of people when the woman was just doing her job. Wish I caught her name because she handled it incredibly and kept a smile on her face. I'd travel back to Dublin just for this restaurant.
M. D.
Great food on a budget, the food is hot, plentiful and there is a good variety.
We were sat near the chiller with the jellies etc in it, surprised at how many people picked up one of the dishes, poked the contents and then put it back in the chiller. We did not try the chilled items.
J. Q.
Great variety of dishes, all tasty & hot.Drinks are not included in the set price.Deserts didn't look too appealing but the ice cream (which you ask a staff member to squeeze out on a cone) was lovely & has the coldest brain freeze you'll ever experience.
D. G.
The food is delicious, and had me going back for seconds, and thirds, and fourths, and dessert. The look isn't exactly fine dining but you can't expect that for a buffet. Have to waddle out of this place.
Bit expensive for 17 euro.
A. B.
Its best for cheap but a lot of food worthit
M. B.
Amazing is the best word I can use. Went here to meet with a group of around 11 friends. Our group was happily accommodated and we were given a large table located on the second floor. The choice of food is quite vast, ranging from rice to noodles, and spicy to sweet. The price is also very good for what you get, €12.90 per person for all you can eat. The location is right in the center of Dublin making it a perfect place to start a day out with friends. Desert is also available and ice cream can be requested. Water is served with the table however you can approach the bar and ask for a drink from the fridge or some alcohol if you'd like.
O. V.
Convenient location - heart of Dublin city center. Great choice of meats, noodles, rice, prawn crackers, chips, sushi was also available on Saturday evening. Different options available for dessert too - cakes, ice cream, jellies . Price is 15.90 on weekend per head, this is excluding drinks. But cocktails and shots are really good. Waiting staff is really quick, empty dirty plates disappeared immediately.
M. G.
Place was jammers on a Thursday evening but staff still got us in quickly (3 of us). Food was fresh, plenty variety. Favourites were ribs, coconut satay chicken, BBQ pork, mushrooms and coconut pudding was VERY nice. Ice cream machine was busy that night. Decent drinks menu too. Great place if you're a fussy eater or have food intolerances... There's something for everyone, from fresh melon slices to Mongolian lamb.
L. G.
Huge variety on the buffet, but everything tasted more or less the same. Nothing stands out. At the end you feel full but your taste buds are still hungry for some real flavour. :(
M. G.
First time here. Amazing selection of starters, mains and desserts. Only complaint was that a colleague wanted to pay seperately and had to pay before we ate. We were then given Bill when we were finished eating and her share was included. Staff very confused and their english was very poor when we tried to explain and showed them her receipt. Otherwise a pleasant evening.
S.
The food here is unreal! Everything is kept fresh and constantly refilled, service is very helpful and efficient, vegetarian and vegan options here, very good price for all you can eat, would highly recommend 😊😊
A. K.
I loved the multiplus different dishes. The staff was lovely, the food very tasty, and the price were affordable, very cheap for all the Chinese food
If you want to eat a lot quantity and quality, eat here. In the heart of Dublin.
T. B.
Nice meal, buffet style so eat as much as you can. Service was good and got there at 5pm so evening food was mostly just put out and it was not too busy. Good value, friendly and helpful staff. Puddings were not the best when we were there, hence only 4 stars.
e. o.
Very nice people and cheap food. Desserts tasted good, but the food itself was very greasy and wasnt to our liking. There were plenty of people that did like it. So it's proba ly just not our cup of tea. Also very easy to get there.
n.
Lovely buffet restaurant in a lovely location in Dublin. Not too expensive and a lot of variety of food. The staff are friendly and it's always been quiet when I go there at lunch time.
D. B.
Food is good, a bit pricy in comparison with other buffet style restaurants, but one of the few offering different options for dessert like cakes and pies instead of only fruit and icecream.
M. G.
All you can eat buffet (as far as I know you pay extra for drinks) with selection of quite good Chinese food. Food while quite good and fresh is not the best in the city, at the same time its not bad at all. Just average. Good way to try multiple chinese dishes without ordering full meals.
C. B.
Great variety of food to choose from. One of the only Chinese buffets I've been to where the food isnt cold and doesn't appear as if it's been retested 100 times. Would highly recommend this place
M. A.
Food was OK and at the right temperature. There were a lot of options but the tastes were very similar, so I didn't feel like that was a positive.
I'd recommend if you can go on lunch time and get the cheapest price.
C. L.
Big selection of starters and mains. Food seems to be always fresh as they have lots of people. Try not to go when is totally empty and the food just dries up under the lights . Over all great value for your money.
Z. A.
حالال Halal chicken are served here which is great. Lots of dishes to choose from. Their sushi is better than the other chinese buffet in O'Connell Street.
G. B. (.
Very friendly staff, but the food left a bit to be desired, as it was a buffet good was left out for quite some time and by the taste and feel of it not been topped up with warmer stuff!
I would visit again as their prices are more than reasonable.
A. D.
Cheap and cheerful restaurant. Not dirty or tacky. A great place (and my favourite place at time of writing) to have lunch if you find yourself hungry in the city centre.
P. R.
Good buffet. Nice food selection. Similar to American Chinese buffet in food style. Lots of seats. Public restroom for customers. No real Chinese soups but food is good. Opens later than traditional Chinese buffet at 1145.
A.
For a cheap all you can eat you should know what to expect, but this place does excel at it. The food always tastes great, fresh and hot. A good selection at a decent price.
J.
It was good! Food was nice and a large selection. My American friend was quite loud and brash, even spilling a drink and the staff was so accomadating with him.
Chicken Maryland was super nice.
M. T. P.
Great American chinese food found in Dublin.
A. S.
The 8th annual trip with my family! As always, the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. A huge variety is available, from starters through to desserts. Prompt service at good prices.
X.
Large selection of food. Very good quality ! This will be my new place fo eat in Dublin from now on. Price is excellent for what you get. I highly recomend it over any other open buffet food arround Dublin.
M.
My favourite Chinese buffet ever. All you can eat and the food is delish. Staff are efficient and friendly. We travel into town ocassionaly solely to visit but wish we could go more!
v. s.
Good and friendly service. Food to choose from the buffet is well presented and reasonably tasteful.
The price is what is the most attractive.
J. A.
Location: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Variety of food: 5/5+
Facilities: 5/5
Atmosphere: 4/5 (Can be a bit noisy and crowded during the busy hours)
Value for money: 5/5
Overall: Jimmy Chung's is definitely the best Chinese buffet I have ever been to. They have a great variety of foods and even deserts, and all food is of good quality.
D. S.
Great food at dinner time, theres sushi and more dishes but nevertheless the food at lunch was equally delicious, i went there twice within three days as i wanted to take my friends and will most likely be going again. Wish there were more sushi though but ill just go at dinner time for that.
A. R.
An excellent Asian cuisine is presented in the facility here in jimmy chungs Dublin. If I was the founder of this building I would be extremely proud in my hard work and leisure . I really enjoyed it with my family and we chose to proceed in another exceptional visit for my fathers birthday and it really kept up to standards . It is extremely sanitary and clean and the food is presentated finely . Overall this is a really good place to go and I would recommend 110%
Yours sencerly satisfied consumer 👍🏻
D. R.
High quality food without filling you up too much or without the Grease. Not many choices but I went at lunch time. They even offer student discounts!
C. K.
Pretty good buffet, definitely better than the other all you can eat places in town, also they have an ice cream machine so what's not to like. The rise in quality does mean that's it's more expensive though
L. M.
Enjoyable food, all you can eat. Food kept hot and of a good quality. Good place for big groups looking to keep costs down on group dinners.
S. B.
I really like the buffeu. Its really delicious and there is a huge variety of food. It's all-you-can-eat and you have to pay extra for drinks, but you get tap water for free.
N. M.
Love the food here. The choice is huge and the service helpful and efficient. Very good price for evening meal
J. T.
Excellent price. Great food, and eat as much as you can. Eaten in Dublin, Edinburgh and Edinburgh south bridge. Can't complain about any of them. Loved it.
A. W.
Excellent food, but what was a let down last time I was there was the men's toilet. Disgustin, broke toilet lid and caked with faeces and really smelly and goo and built up hairs around the toilet sinks tills and floors really really dirt and also back of doors crafitied and need a paint. Some needs to spend three hours in there with a steamer and a body suit.
M.
Only go if you are starving
The self service is a good concept but the whole environment felt dirty and grimy and sometimes unclean and dirty.
Popular with "locals" in their full Adidas track suits and Nike air Max's
Not the fanciest but if you don't mind grease and grime and THE HEAT then you should be fine.
As I said, only go if you are absolutely starving and have eaten very little that day, you will appreciate it more and get better value for money
J. K.
Not really sure why I didn't go for a 5 star. This is the best place I know in town to feel like you're eating out, without feeling like you're in Mickey D's, Big (shabby fries) King or Eddie Ripoffs (Not counting the Santry Eddies 😉 great job out there).. Food in Jimmy (for a Buffett) is scrumptious and fresh deserts great and the staff very efficient.. so for a few €s more than a Big Meal, and a proper buzz around food, ample seating, couples shopping not wanting to cook when they get home, just nibbles, or maybe Saturday family treat but not breaking the bank, deffo recommend, kids spend half their time staring at the cakes 😊 gas..
C. B.
Love this place! Amazing staff and delicious food for the price. Book a table in advance as this little gem is a popular spot :D
S. T.
Great range of food cooked to a high standard with a very spacious dining area. Nice place to bring the family and friends to try out all their different types of food
M. B.
There are many dishes to choose from. Friendly staff and price, good location. Very popular place so it's better to go for lunch time.
R. B.
All you can eat. Great fresh food and good choice. Efficient and polite service. Can get crowded at times. Popular with students.
A. T. (.
In my opinion is the best Chinese Buffet in Dublin. Great food, the place is very clean and nice and the price is excellent. There is a good variety of food and also deserts.
M. R.
Food was lovely keep on top of it with filling up trays of food keep the place clean at all times staff did have much English but it was ok but happy with it,and my kids said they would not give it 5 stars they would give it 6 stars they loved it 👍
M. O.
Great choice of white meat (which I like), very tasty and cooked well, staff so kind (rising from 4 to 5 * cause of them). The only thing I was missing is the salt on the table, everything else was very good :b
j. k.
Food was delicious, staff are friend and the prices are very good for the quality you get 👍
K. M.
Fantastic place really love all u can eat and the atmosphere was great. Well recommended

R. F.
Standard Chinese buffet, food was nice but nothing special. Price is reasonable and it's a good place to pig out if your in the mood.
P. C.
€15 all you can eat. Food not the best quality and some of it was a bit cold. Reckon it'd been sat there a long time. Nice was nice, particularly the desserts and will probably go back
A. B. (.
Very nice food, would really recommend, eat as much as you want, lovely staff also.
D. M.
Does what it says on the tin, all you can eat. Nice staff and food is good but nothing special. It does the job for a reasonable price.
M. M.
Lots of choice but food was a bit dry and the beef green pepper blackbean was very bland... Very watery but overall! My kids loved it..
k.
Food are delicious! You have a buffet and you can eat whatever you what.. amazing dessert! Highly recommend this place!
J. M. K.
One of the best buffet in Dublin.
E. A.
It's a big boufett with affordable prices in comparison to the prices in Dublin which are a bit high. Other than that the food was not so special.
E. M.
I love Jimmy Chung's. You know when you're looking through the Chinese takeaway menu and you can't decide what you want?? Well at Jimmy Chung's you dont have to, with it's All You Can Eat Buffet!! From chicken balls to curry to sticky ribs to much much more, yummy!! The ice-cream is amazing it is just plain vanilla but it comes out of a Mr Whippy type machine, a real surprise. The price is so reasonable and it is great place to eat with the family, out shopping or as soakage before patronising any number of bars and nightclubs in town. I love Jimmy Chung's and I think you might too.
C. M.
Food, as always, very good; the service a little disappointing, not one, but 2 of the waitresses didn't speak English, nor they understood us, but I give them credit for the smile. The young supervisor wasn't helpful, customer satisfaction didn't seem a priority to him.
F. C.
There's a lot of choice and plenty to go around, service is fast and the all you can eat option is well priced. If you like Chinese food you can't really go wrong
K. J.
Absolutely perfect place. Eat as much as you want. Self-service . Tasty food in huge selection.
F.
Tasty and filling. Very reasonable price, good spot for all you can eat. Not forgetting -- friendly staffs 😄😆
M. D.
Best Chinese buffet I have eaten in ages. Choice of 16 starters, 32 mains and 9? deserts €16.95 for dinner.
K. C.
Great quality food at a good price. Food is always hot & fresh
T. L.
All you can eat student price €10
Food quality not excellent also because we went there late and food was already a bit cold.
Good for price, not for quality
H. R.
Never have been dissappointed yet with the food at Jimmy Chung's in Dublin. Good variety of meals and deserts. Have come back more than once already!
J. T.
Exactly what you would expect of an asian-style buffet eatery. Reasonably priced dinner for approx 15€. Not a huge amount of selection and variety, though.
D. N.
Great restaurant. Good service and amazing food for a good price. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
P. T.
Without the doubt the best Chinese buffet in Dublin. Best selection and everything is fresh. Sometimes very crowdy but the only shows it's popular.
I. H.
Decent enough food for a good price. If you're a big eater, this is a good place to go to at the heart of Dublin
J. B.
Good selection of food if you like mild or spicy Asian food ,unfortunately very limited options for vegetarians , good value for money
U. D.
Great selection of tasty food. Good value
Buffet menu. Nice staff.
W. 8.
My favorite place to eat when in city center, reasonable price and you won't leave hungry for sure. A lot of different kind of food for everyone.
J. C.
I Always call in to Jimmy chungs when I am in Dublin. more than enough Options for vegetarians and meat eaters. Come Early..and take your time. A Reseveration is recommended.
S. M.
Really nice buffet and food is always fresh, place is busy so they constantly change dishes, have really nice cocktails but these do not come as part of the meal price, 16 isn't too bad but they're are other buffet establishments around the city centre for 10 euro if the 16 is too steep but Jimmy's would be the best quality
g. s.
Lots of food. All you can eat. As expected, None of it really good. It's for when you're extremely hungry and lost your sense of taste. Nice toilettes.
J. V.
Nice options in the buffet, costly if you don't eat much. Very large. Loud. Apple cobbler very good.
M. W.
Food is good for the price. Fare selection. Great for a cheap dinner with friends before hitting the nightlife
k. c.
Very good all u can eat not over expensive food ok to good would do it again.
b.
Great food and great price. Just make sure you go there before 5pm as the price of the food go's up per person
p.
Literally the single nicest food providing location in Dublin can not wait to go back, a little on the pricey side but otherwise incredible
E. J.
Best All you can eat! Everything so tasty - worth going to city centre just for this place :D
M. G.

Great variety of tasty food for price that won't break the bank 👍 My personal favorite is their pork ribs!
L.
foods are ok but the “mabo tofu” is not mobo
Tofu. Not only it taste different, but also look difference. That just a casual home made tofu.
P. R.
Excellent value for money. Huge choice of buffet including desserts. Great place to bring kids.
M. S.
Good food, great variety, absolutely inexpensive; very convenient location just off O'Connell Street. Definitely recommended.

A. G.
Delicious food always fresh, great customer service, everything is clean, apart from bathrooms it's extremely cold there and dirty
V. M.
Huge choice of delicious food. Liked the service and staff was very friendly.
T.
The food wasn't bad but it wasn't very good either. It was ok, but when my friends and I went there it was very warm and also the ice cream was literally milk.
A. O. (.
Good restaurant. Been here several times. Ordered starters here for my birthday in 2013. Nice!

M. H.
All you can eat buffet , a great selection of food and very tasty. Usually very busy.
A. M.
Currently sitting here, food is nice, people are nice and it's quite cheap! Definitely a place worth going to
D. A.
Good food but the selection of food is small .
P. D.
Typical buffet fair on offer. Very pricey at weekend's. But sadly not much competition in the buffet market
R. R.
Fantastic Chinese food here. Great buffet selection. Food was fresh and cycled quickly.

Food was great and great value too with the buffet. Go in hungry
G. B.
Used to be a big fan of here, the food hasn't changed, it's still decent, but the prices have increased considerably, we were there at 3pm on a Tuesday and our kids were charged €9.80 each, it looks as if they are trying to discourage families.
G. A.
Nice place, very friendly staff, a big variety of food!

Bit mean that we were 5 mins late and they refused us our drinks vouchers. Took the shine off the night.
