⭐️Best dim sum for a 2pm late lunch in Dublin City centre!⭐️
-dim sum: hot, fresh, huge variety including some old school ones like ginger, pork knuckle and egg in dark vinegar 豬腳薑,❤️chives dumplings 韮菜餃、蝦餃and shrimp dumplings are with very fresh fillings(my favourite)❤️, wonton soup is a surprise as the soup is a REAL GOOD SOUP but not those watery transparent soup cube and wantons are fresh and juicy👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
-real good fried rice with wok aroma
-CRISPY Cantonese barbecue pork belly and duck 😋😋😋
-stirred fried four season beans are also recommended as it was spicy and flavourful fried , excellent to go with rice
-tried once garlic steamed huge scallops with vermicelli another time and it was extremely tasty and fresh!
Authentic Chinese/ Cantonese Dim Sum!
Friendly service.
All in all highly recommended.
Dim sum might not be served in the later time in the evening you better call and ask if you are aiming for dim sum!

(4.5 stars) Very pleased with the food and place. One of only three restaurants in Dublin that I have visited twice during my 2-week stay in Dublin and planned to return one more time for a few more dishes before I leave Ireland. Only have one photo to share because I finished the other dishes before I remembered to take pictures. Just added another photo from the last visit.
In summary, the dim sum dishes were great. The combination fried rice was okay, the rice was too wet or/and oily.

Really enjoyed our family dinner here! The chicken and sweetcorn soup was amazing! Not too expensive either compared to other restaurants. Staff are lovely as well and great atmosphere. Food was very tasty. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! :)
D.
Fantastic food and it's real Chinese food, not that so called Chinese food you get in most places in Ireland. Takes me back to my days in Singapore Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
I. G.
Absolutely delicious meal, I would highly recommend this place. Every that came out was amazing will definitely come back for more.
S. Y.
The food laste so good but the beef chow main tastes a little burnt.
The service is okay e.g a lady just took away my cups, plates, and chopsticks without asking me & they tell us to move to a different table (in the middle of eating)
P. L.
Really authentic Cantonese cuisine with lovely dim sum and lots of choices. They do take the COVID cert seriously. So make sure you bring it with you and be ready to present it.

Good food good service! Delicious dim sum in Dublin
G. J.
Great lunch before Christmas, will be back again, use yo frequent this place 40 years ago when living in Dublin, under a new name but still great food.
K. H.
Really nice food, the service seemed a little stretched but it was busy with Christmas.we ordered as a group (3 people) having one of those tables wheels would have been great as we mixed our mains.
A. O.
Ask for the dim sum menu. Brilliant food

By far, the best Chinese restaurant in the whole country that serves real "Chinese" food. Do not expect to find Steak and Chips or a spice bag here. As I said, they sell the real deal. I'm delighted to find this place since we only need to drive 2 hours to satisfy our Asian food cravings instead of flying to Hong Kong. 🤣

In the past few years I’ve been here many times and the food has always been 5 stars. But for the service, I’d give one star. The most recent time I went there, the service was absolutely horrible. Their service has never been great but it was alright, but a few days ago when we were there, a young staff asked me to write down the numbers of the dishes I wanna order on a piece of paper, I guess it’s cuz they’re busy but they didn’t do this to all the other tables. I’m assuming they asked me to do this cuz I’m Chinese but still it doesn’t make any sense to me. And then we had to ask two times for the bills, they bring the wrong bill, changed to the correct bill and the staff (also the young guy) was so rude, he asked me to tap and I said that my card cannot tap, and then he reacted very impatiently. The most ridiculous part is that they charge service fees, like how could you charge service fees when there’s no service at all? I’d still go there for the food cuz the food is honestly really nice but if this kind of situation happens again I genuinely don’t know whether I’d still bother going ever again.

Very good location and delicious dim sum!! Nice staff and environment. Would highly recommend if you prefer a light taste of food!
M.
My wife and I had lunch today
The food was amazing
The dim sum was fantastic
The service was excellent
The next time we are in Dublin we will be bringing the entire family
Thank you
Can’t wait to return
Highly recommend your restaurant

Really authentic Chinese food here. Absolutely delicious. The crispiest pork belly and duck I've had in Ireland and the char su pork was amazing too.
A. R.
I won their 50euro voucher from insta, but even without that, their food was still affordable. I love dim sum and I have yet to find an authentic place to get it in dublin until I got here. There were a variety of choices to choose from such as my personal favourites, har gow, jiao zi, turnip cake, friend wonton, siumai and egg tarts. Can't wait to go back!
W. O.
This is one of our go to restaurants and one of the best Chinese restaurants in Dublin. Excellent dim sum menu as well as a great full dinner menu as well. Highly recommended.
V. Y.
Came in for dinner. Authentic Chinese cuisine in the heart of Dublin. First time trying and I'll definitely come back for more. I will love to give their dim sum a try next. We got their roast platter which they served with my favourite plum sauce. No roast duck is complete without plum sauce! :)
D. J.
This is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in Dublin (I have been to a few places now). The service treated everyone I noticed, as well as myself, pretty well. I recommend Ka Shing 👍🏾
S. O.
Was expecting to be a bit dissapointed because of the 4.1 stars but I was very pleasantly surprised! Delicious dim sum, good vegetarian options and the Pak choy and Cheung fun were especially delicious.
B. M.
Excellent Chinese food, from dim sum, classic Chinese dishes plus the europeanized Chinese favorites like chicken curry .. so something for everyone.. friendly , clean .. loses 1 start for “smell” near stairs & the 10%service change.. I would rather tip waiter/ waitress directly
R. P. D.
Really nice restaurant, nice staff, brilliant meals! Food piping hit and perfectly timed inbetween courses. Would highly recommended.
F. C.
Traveling in Scotland and Ireland for a week from Hong Kong, truly missed the home food. The food quality here is at the similar level as back home so I would say it’s authentic. People are friendly and service is efficient.
L. S.
Atmosphere was nice, clean and tidy. But the food is not wow as I expected.
A. M. (.
Excellent and authentic Cantonese food. I might be biased because I currently live in Cleveland, where the Chinese restaurants are practically hate crimes, but the hefen in particular really reminded me of HK/Guangdong.
Service was quick and efficient, though the restaurant wasn't at full capacity so I can't say if that's always the case. It was friendly too, I think? I didn't really pay much attention because it's a Chinese restaurant, not a TGI Fridays.
G. R.
Great food, very tasty and authentic, good value also
J. W.
Top notch dim sum!
C. W.
Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Dublin. Can't wait to visit again.
Y. T.
Very good authentic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. I'm from Hong Kong so I know
S. J.
Of the places I've been in Dublin, would say this is rated high on my list of Asian foods. Most of the Asian restaurants around are quite fusion for the European taste but this place is more to its roots. It is a little pricey for what it is but if you catch the early bird deal, its pretty good!
B. M.
Love this restaurant service is great Marcus the waiter is excellent the food is wonderful thoroughly enjoyed our evening
E. C.
Had a great experience here this week! Food is really good and the staff are very friendly which is very important. We had a 3 month old baby with us and a buggy and they were SO accommodating! They also have good covid precautions in place and even took our temperature beforehand. Couldn’t fault one thing about the place.
E. R.
I had an amazing meal here- seafood soup and the Shanghai style steamed dumplings. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Great service, too!
M. M.
Very tasty Dim Sum. Will be back for more. Michael McKeon
D. M.
I ordered and paid for 5 dim sum items for take away but only got 4. Quite disappointed but the items I gotten were okay.
D. C.
Very happy with menu choice. Very tasty.
Shrimp dim sum. Nice size and served very hot. Hot and sour soup delicious.
Stir fried shrimp with XO sauce nice little spicy kick to it. Very authentic. Busy spot. Will be back again for sure.
J. L.
Proper Chinese dim sum
F. B.
Great dim sums that taste great and are reasonably priced. Will be back for more.
l. M.
Amazing Chinese food plus dim sum to die for. We are on holiday in Dublin and this is our second meal here. Right off grafton so great location. servers are attentive and quick to bring out the amazing food. Also clean clean place. I especially recommend the veggie dim sum and the sesame balls. Plus the beef lo mein. Also the tofu curry. And basically any of the dim sum. We tried 6 different dumplings and they were all really good.
L. B.
Good food, great value for money.
S. B.
Such a great place for real Chinese Food & Dim Sum! I've now been twice, and both times staff were lovely, easy & fast service, the place is well designed & decorated to give an elegant, cosy and peaceful atmosphere, and the food is the best Chinese I've had in Dublin. This is a truly great find in Dublin. My favourite dish is their BBQ Baked Pork Buns 😍🤤🤤. I had them my first time, dream of them and came back to specifically get them again. I highly recommend to anyone going as a group, with friends, as a couple or even solo. My friend from the Philippines first showed me this spot where we went after a long work day, and I brought my boyfriend with me 2nd time for a cute date. It's a truly great place for a meal out, and very reasonable prices to enjoy guilt free. ☺️☺️
G. G.
Authentic Dim Sum!! The waiter was amazing and the food was very good:)
P. C.
Great lunch, great taste. Very good!
K. S.
We are regular customers in this restaurant and they never fail to surprise us with the amazing and tasty food. Wednesday was my birthday and I had my meal there the staff were amazing help and very friendly . Special thanks to the chef and the waiters who looked after us that night . Another special thanks to our friend . 100% recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to spoil themselves.
THANK YOU. ! ! !
A. B.
A great restaurant 😀 There are plenty of different dumplings and dishes to choose from, the decoration immerses you from the start into an asian ambience. The waiter and waitresses are charming. Very good quality/price ratio.
V. O.
Most delicious Chinese food ever. You know when you find something new and you crave it? This is that place. If you are looking for a new Chinese then give it a go. It's very reasonably priced. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. It's just off Grafton Street so very central for food before a night out, a great date night grub. I'll be back soon!
L. F.
Lovely food and friendly staff
G. C.
This place is extremely average in everything, food, decor, service. I understand it has been in Dublin for a very long time but it feels like nothing has changed in the many years and I feel the world has moved on from the greasy Chinese food that this place serves. It isn’t spectacular and the only reason to go again would be through a lack of choice in the city centre right in the shopping heartlands. Go if you must but know it’s essentially glorified Chinese takeaway food with prices to match the glory.
s. r.
Top class food and great service as usual
B. S. K.
The food here tasted like the ones I have eaten in Singapore and Hong Kong which I was pleasantly surprised. The service from the waiters are also very good and fast. I guess after spending 2 weeks in Europe it was nice to converse in mandarin again. We order seafood hor fun, roasted pork and dim sum. All of them were order. Total meal cost for 4 was about £54 which is considered cheap in Europe. I will definitely come here again if I visit Dublin again.
M. T. P.
Food was ok. Service was really friendly.
D. H. N.
After a long day of sight seeing, my wife was craving some Chinese food with rice! We were hoping for some chinese BBQ from the pictures, but they were sold out for the day. Looks like they have a busy crowd for lunch for their dim sum. Dinner is still packed but we were able to get seated immediately. We ordered their special salt prawns, the spicy fried chicken and a stir fried choy. Of the dishes came out quickly and perfectly seasoned. I am still shocked that no matter where I travel in the world there is decent Chinese food to be had.
M. F.
Good food and very well priced. Large portions, so beware. Their steamed buns contain a lot of bun but not much filling. Hilariously over-the-top decorations, however a waiter didn't wash his hands after using the urinal.
D. K.
ta
Tasty seasonings and REALLY fresh ingedients - and a waitress with enough gumption to tell us when we ordered a bad combination, and suggest something else. Also, fast service, but no sense of being rushed. They let us linger, but when we asked for the check, it came right away. Not pricy, either. A fine experience.
W. P.
Delious Food, Friendly, bright and cleaned
d. r.
The best dim sum in town for sure and fantastic service
L. G.
A new chef has brought some serious quality to the dim sum. Subtle fresh flavours carefully brought out by careful steaming. A little bit of Hong-Kong transplanted onto unfamiliar soil. The rest of the menu maintains its usual standards.
G. D.
Food is good, but horrible service. Entitled manager likes to talk loudly on the phone destroying the whole atmosphere. The staff there doesn't look like they want to be there.
Only 3 stars because of the food and décor.
D. L.
Looking from the outside you might just take this place as another dingy Chinese restaurant in town. That's certainly not the case though - this one is slightly fancier and more expensive.
The food is your standard westernised Chinese fare, though markedly pricier than the usual. The food does seem of higher quality however so it's not a huge issue. The interior is what sells it. This place looks like an upscale restaurant pulled straight out of Hong Kong.
If you're looking for a decent Chinese place on the south side after a long day of shopping then this is probably your best bet.
P. S.
Nice place, good atmosphere, food is OK, however for that price you would expect something really good. Same food ordered by Chinese on other tables were bigger, and in general 60 eur for a sup, meal and glass of beer is a price for which you expect really good food in restaurants in Dublin. 10% serving fee still applies to whatever you order, i.e. the prices in menu are 10% less that what you actually pay (in fact there are still some places where additional service fee applies to tables with 6-8 or more people, but I haven't seen any restaurant to charge additional service fee for table of 1-2 people for last 20 years.
From other hand, the place is quiet and not crowded, that's what you pay for. Quality of food is more or less like in Chinese buffets on other side of the river for 7-9 eur per person, so don't expect too much.
T. L.
Lovely dim sum at reasonable prices.
P. S.
Very nice and yum yum good food,
A. H.
My favourite restaurant so family friendly and nothing is a problem. The food is amazing would highly recommend this restaurant
Y. H. W.
Nice Hong Kong restaurant with Cantonese speaking staff that are also fluent in English and Mandarin. The owner is very friendly and the food is good. However, prices are not the most affordable around but it is still decent.
V. S.
Good food, but customer service not good (after the food comes they never came back to our table, so we gave up on ordering dessert), we also did a booking and when we arrived they couldn't find our booking.. very disappointed with service, but food is good
D.
Dumplings are excellent. Green beans are just right (good). Food came quiet fast (typical for Chinese restaurants). We were fully satisfied ;)
E. R.
Lovely food, great service and the staff are great too! Especially the server with the black mask talking to us. :)
A. P.
I have never had so much fun talking to our waiter Marcus. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to have a good time
D. J.
Surprisingly good. I had really good dim sum, as I might expect to find in Hong Kong or in New York. The glutinous rice, the siu mai, and the Singapore mai fun were all standouts. The service is exactly what you'd expect, I.e., nonexistent, but, well, par for the course.
E. M.
Very enjoyable, very friendly and attentive staff and top quality food
M. B.
For fabulous staff, great atmosphere and just overall dammed fine food. Would have no hesitation in recommending Ka Shing to anyone. Take a bow all involved.
K. E.
Great place for dim sum. One of the best place in Dublin for Dim Sum. European Chinese menu also available
K. H.
Best dim sum in the house! Also props to the chef. Nice area to eat in and good service too.
M. K.
Authentic chinese food that was delicious. I went with my kids and ordered roast duck and it was the nicest duck I have ever tasted.
T. T.
The best Chinese restaurant in Dublin for authentic Chinese food. The Dim Sum is fantastic as is the rest of the menu I highly recommend for family and friends. Enjoy!
S. R.
Tried a few Chinese restaurants in Dublin, and this one serves the best! They have a wide variety of dishes. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for..
g. c.
Great central location, very comfortable dining tables and chairs, menu slightly highly priced
Very disappointed by the wine glasses..6.50 for the smallest glass I have seen..wine is not a Port or a Sherry, there are standard measures that should be observed
K. S.
Slightly hidden away like a true hidden gem! Service was prompt and polite, food was delicious an all round great experience. Will 100% be recommending this place to anyone and everyone.
C. C.
Wonderful evening spent in the Ka Shiny Restaurant in Wicklow Street off Grafton Street in Dublin's fair city. We partook of a truly splendid meal so genuinely Chinese - succulent and tasty beyond compare. A big thank you to my former student Bonny Cheung and his sweet daughter Adeline who came all the way from Hong Kong to see how the old headmaster was doing. This is a restaurant beyond compare. Conall Cannon
D. L.
Great dim sum - best I’ve had in Dublin so far. No cheung fen in the evening, but then one should probably not go for dim sum in the evening anyways...
T. K.
Had a beautiful meal here Sat night. Food was delicious. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Very good Cantonese restaurant. Perhaps the best place for dim sum in Dublin. A bit overpriced and better to make reservation.
L. P.
Food was adequate, not the best Dim Sum I've had. Service very slow. Wasn't very busy for a Saturday lunch time.
M. F.
I went once and came back...I like the dumplings, etc. I won't be enumerating the food I ate there :) The place is cozy and the interior is also great...there is even a big family or party table up in the loft.

(Translated) After shopping in brown thomas, my sister wanted to eat chicken feet in black bean sauce, so she found this Chinese restaurant, which is very close to the mall, about 100 meters, the facade is not big, be careful not to miss it; the proprietress personally ordered for us and introduced the Irish prawns , Satay beef vermicelli pot (I want to eat vermicelli), and planned the amount of dishes for the three of us, basically all of them were eaten, not much waste. The prawns came on a big plate. The scallion sauce as a dipping sauce was excellent. With the delicious prawns, the tongue was swallowed in the stomach. The dishes and dim sum are all in place. I traveled for more than 20 days and had such delicious dishes. I was so touched...
