Had a great meal here. Panipuri to start (crunchy, fresh), and lamb chettinad with garlic naan. The lamb was nicely spiced -- hot but not too crazy. Service was a little slow but it was a busy night. We had a great table on 1st floor by the window, good spot to watch the world go by on Baggot St.

One of the best Indians in Dublin, I order take out from here ( probably far too often 🐷) and the standard is always superb, my favourite dish is the Andhra chicken and their onion bhaji is the best ever

I came here the first time for a quick takeaway when I was at the bar next door for the songwriting circle’s event.
Service:
The staff had like 10 takeaway paper bags waiting for them to put in the food from the kitchen, and yet they were still extremely friendly and attentive to my inquiries. Lovely!
Food:
I had the chicken chettinad + plain naan for the first visit, just to play it safe in case their naan went wrong. Omg the naan, even as a takeaway, was incredible! Thick, firm, chewy, and flavorful. The curry was good too.
I came back today all the way from Drumcondra, just to have their curry and naan. Tried their Keralan Coconut Curry + Garlic & Coriander Naan this time - absolutely amazing! I liked Keralan Coconut Curry better than chicken chettinad, and loved the naan from both times!
Space: There are 4 tables for four on the ground level. The pics attached are from the 1st floor, which offer a few tables for two (or one). I went there the 2nd time when it was almost 9pm, and it was fairly quiet.

Authentic spicy biryani with the juiciest lamb. Awesome ambience.

Despite the name, not a lot of south indian dishes on the menu. Food was still delicious, and the staff were very nice. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant serves Indian food. We tried the prawn beriyani, dhal and naan. Food is good. The dining area is a bit small located on the first floor. Can be very noisy.

This place is one of the best indian restaurant I’ve been in!
The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful.
We loved the food, it was tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. I loved the Naan bread and the prawns.
We sat upstairs near the window, it felt like someone’s house. It’s nicely decoreted and cosy and you really feel like you are in someone’s kitchen!
I higly recommended it.

We really enjoyed our meal. The starter was sensational: Bhel Puri, if you want to know. Friendly staff the only small thing we found was the lighting upstairs was kind of harsh. A simple matter to fix. Thanks for a lovely evening meal.

Really good food for every taste. Vegan, vegetarian and of course meat eater will find a delicious dinner! Highly recommended

Great place to have Indian food ! Prices are reasonable, food is excellent, very tasty.

Cravings some KK biryani and lamb Rogan Josh. #open night deliveries @kerala kitchen Best Indian in town!
B. B.
Kerala Kitchen really delivered a fabulous dining experience on our first night in Dublin! The atmosphere had hipster vibes while being cozy and quaint. The decor was perfectly simple!
We started with the Gunpowder Aloo Chaat, which was a fantastic kickstart for our palate. It had an amazing blend of heat and flavor to really make us excited for the main course!
Mains were the Lamb Chettinad and Chicken Saag. The lamb was a perfect combination of heat, spice and fall apart, melt in your mouth lamb. The Chicken Saag delivers very nice flavor, leaving me craving more naan to mop up the leftover spinach curry!
Again, a perfect meal! We recommend this great dining experience for anyone who loves good food in a unique setting.

Sadly disappointed by our lunch after reading all the good reviews here - we ordered the lamb and “chicken tikka” naan wraps and we were really underwhelmed. Just salad in naan bread with an overly sweet sauce. Meats had very little flavor or depth. The curry dishes other customers had looked a lot better.

A lot of hype and it's good as well, a small place where you can go and have a nice time with your loved ones. The place is really small and the lighting can be worked on as well. All in all, a nice place with good food.
A. K.
Had a wonderful evening with my parents at Kerala kitchen, the staff is really friendly and accommodating in terms of dietary requirements.Kulfi and Bhatti tikka are must try !

Good Indian food.
The main downside is that the portions are not so big for the price, especially because you have to pay additionally for any rice/naan side on top of your main dish (curry, tandoori...).
Service was OK but could be a bit more friendly as well.
S. L.
Good, but once in a while, they severely screw up (substitute cook?) the food. Once the bhajis were literally raw, it was disgusting and ended up in the bin. I am already a bit disappointed that part of the food is not fresh and just warmed up, but uncooked food is unacceptable. If you can't meet the number of orders, refuse the overload.
D. H.
The chicken biryani was delicious and the service was amazing, virendra was very kind. My go to Indian restaurant always. Would recommend the Bhatti tikka as it's superb.
J. C.
I was so impressed by how lovely the food was here. My wife and I shared a number of small plates and the staff was accommodating of our toddler and his aversion to spice. Would highly recommend.

Food was ok with reasonable price. I am from Kerala which makes me to try this restaurant.
I have been into multiple countries across 3 different continents and tried different food.
This is the first restaurant in my life who served food without plates and cutleries.
The nan bread served in a paper envelop and we supposed to eat from it.
We waited for long time and ended up asking to get a spoon and a plate to have the curry.
So if anyone wanted to visit this place, learn to eat from the bare table or bring your own plates and cutleries.
This is not a Kerala tradition, as we don't eat from paper envelop.
To the restaurant:- , please tell people If you do only take away and don't want them to eat in.
D. M. A.
Enjoyed the ANDHRA CHICKEN with rice and poppadums, and a side order of masala kissed fries in a casual setting. Food served in compostable takeaway containers, but pleasant seating areas available to use on premise. Total cost 15.50euro and well worth it, as it was filling and delicious. Service was good too.
J. B.
I love this place, nice simple menu, good prices and really fresh. The food is amazing, some of the best curries I've ever had. Staff are also really lovely!

Kerala Kitchen is one of better place to have Indian food in Dublin. This place is run by Lewis Cummings who is from Britain and travelled to Kerala, India and got inspired by the aromatic south Indian food then moved to Dublin, Ireland with his wife and started Kerala Kitchen. The food served here is very authentic, be it aloo chat which is served with sweet curd and chatni podi or Kerala Coconut curry. The staff is friendly and service is quick here.
S. Ó. C.
Lamb was nice, big tender chunks of meat. The Samosas were also delicious. Now we are onto the bad.. the chips were terrible, they were cold and some what reheated.. defo not fresh. The biryani was also a let down, its just rice! No vegetables or spice... just rice. The sauce that came with it wasn't great either.
A. C.
If you're looking to eat some authentic North Indian food, Kerala kitchen is your hub! The must tries here are, Kadhai Paneer if you're a vegetarian and if you like your meat, definitely try the Lamb pepper fry and the Ambur Chicken Biryani to top it all.
S. F.
The food is absolutely amazing!!! One of the best Indian restaurant in dublin... loved it!!!
D. D.
I just collected 'Saag Chicken' and I have to say after a very long time I have had such brilliantly cooked and flavoured Chicken. I genuinely loved it. The kebabs are also amazing. I had ordered 'Bhatti Tikka'. The mint sauce does great justice to the dish though it was a little less for me :P Chicken Tikka was little burnt but that's what gives it the real tandoori and smoky flavour.
Previously I have also ordered Samosas which are also amazing.
N. H.
Awesome experience, had dal makhani, biryani and tasted most of the chats with my buddies. Taste was fantastic. Great service and staff were very friendly

Great food! Staff are really nice and helpful

I was expecting Kerala food, but they have only North Indian food in the menu.
Cost of the total items in the picture : 18.5 Euro

Excellent Indian. Non greasy flavourful dishes. Vegan friendly
K. R.
Great little spot, slightly off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit. Very different and delicious menu, at reasonable prices!
M. T.
Kerala is my go to for good quality amazing authentic food. Kept me going at all the music festivals iv been at always served with a smile and great value. So tasty. Also as a treat my husband picks up my fave take away. Wow even in this pandemic their spices & smiles keep serving us. Thank you Kerala
R. R.
Great authentic Indian food. You can truly feel the love for the cuisine and attention to detail. Staff are lovely too. Try the onion bhaji.
e. b.
I love Indian food and I love Kerala Kitchen! This is a very nice building, tastefully decorated. The staff are all very attentive and have excellent customer service. The food is gorgeous, I love it at every visit. I highly recommend the Dal or the Biriyani ( my staples!). They’re busy at the usual times. It can be a little loud, if you’re sensitive to this. They have two long tables as well as doubles upstairs, so you may share at busy periods. There’s ground level seating too, which is lovely. Highly recommend.

Best lamb briyani I have ever had!

I Recently visited the newly opened kerala kitchen in stoney batter Dublin and one can't help but feel the charm and authenticity of a lil piece of India in Dublin. From the aromas to the interior this restaurant really looks and feels the part. When it comes to the most important part - the food is really really tasty and great value for money. Great variety on the menu too. I usually went to the Baggot street but recently moved close to stoney batter and so I'm delighted. It's now my go to place to eat if I fancy a treat!!!!
T. O. B.
I loved my first experience at Kerala Kitchen. The place has a lovely feel to it, beautifully decorated with an authentic India vibe. The food was so good, one of the best Indian food I have tasted. The staff are friendly and helpful. Arun the manager came to our table and was so nice, he explained the dishes and their approach to the menu. We will definitely coming back soon. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for an authentic Indian food.
S. S.
Sush a nice spot for Indian yummy food! Will definitely be back

[Review from 2 years ago i.e. Jan - Oct 2019] Authentic preparation. Well made food. Prices are reasonable (for the complexity of the dishes and quality). Not a cheap quick eat Indian joint but not overpriced for the quality they serve. Takeaway is cheaper. Highly recommended
i. K.
My soul calls this place home. I love their food, their staff, their interior, everything! If you want some really high quality, delicious, fresh Indian food, this is the place to try. My absolute favourite is saag paneer with peshwari naan, absolutely dreamy food. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for creating this beautiful place 🙏
K. K.
Great Indian food, whether you take it home or eat in-house. One of my favourites.
I like the rustic, informal setting upstairs in the lovely, characterful Georgian building too.
A. N.
Great food . Decent ambience. Nice Malli guys running the place. Food was tasty to the tune of us deciding to go back there the next time we are in Dublin. Enjoyed Great food , good wine and kingfisher beer. Reducing 1 star as they wanted us to order food at one go, starters main course etc, and they denied serving them 1 after the other , even after special request in special Malayalam. It was very very strange.
R. K.
Holy Mother of India! Amazing food. Not dumbed down for the non-Kerala palette. Hot, fiery, and explosive. Had the Kerala lamb pepper fry. Loved it going down. Will remember the sweaty skull, and looking forward to the morning after. A must visit for authentic Kerala cuisine. Staff was genuinely nice and helpful.
D. M.
Lovely place, brilliant food and service, great to sit in and to get a takeaway. Highly recommended!
M. P.
If you are looking for an authentic Indian restaurant, this is it! The food has all kinds of spices and flavor any Indian can hope for! If u are a vegetarian u gotta try the dal! It's amazing! And for the non vegetarian the chef special Andra chicken is the best!
I go to this place once every 2 weeks!
L. F.
amazing food. try the saag, it's super fresh and unlike saag elsewhere, not overcooked!
E. C.
Kerala Kitchen is hands down the best Indian food I've had. The ingredients were fresh, the lamb was melt-in-the-mouth, the spread was so colourful, with great variety, and the flavour profile gently glided from cool mint to warm spices, and back.
Highly recommended!
C. K.
One of my favorite local spots. The service is always amazing. They are so friendly and attentive. Food is some of the best Indian food I've had. And the atmosphere is simple but classy (think rustic chic).
M. T.
This place makes some of the tastiest curry I've tried so far. I started eating here about 4 years ago and I still love it, even if I have to walk across the city to get there. Currently, I'm in love with their Home-Style Baingan. The mix of aubergines with onion and tomato goes perfectly with their Peshwari Naan. It's a bit spicy, but not too much. Also, make sure you get some samosas as an appetiser.
To the gentleman who complained a day ago that a staff member was rude with him: Mate, if you know how to write a Google review, surely you also know how to place an order online. Their web site works perfectly, so use it and stop wasting their time on the phone if you can't talk from a quiet place. These people put their lives at risk to come each day to work so they can provide food for us and they've done a stellar job, so cut them some slack.
A. D.
Very good Indian food but I find it overpriced. I would go or order for takeout more often if it was cheaper. Otherwise it is a great addition to the Stoneybatter neighbourhood!
K. G.
I have been coming to this restaurant for the past few months. I like the service here, they handle busy evenings very well and mostly I get my food very quick. The general manager Arun (hope I got the name right) very efficient comes around to every table to check every one is happy. Very good authentic Indian food. You may not want to spice up though because they seem to add more chilli powder into the mix...
N. T.
I’m from Kerala originally so i was excited to try something like home cooked food.
I’m not sure if they have changed their menu over the years but they have mostly North Indian and some fusion options. North Indian food is what you typically get in restaurants so I was excited to get something different.
In summary: The decor is nice and the Indian food is good but it isn’t south indian cuisine. Still on the hunt for a good South Indian place.
M. B.
This has to be the best Indian in Dublin!
The restaurant is very casual and you could end up sitting beside some other people at a long table and that’s probably what makes it so enjoyable, how relaxed it is.
I love the food, I think the cooking is brilliant and I’ve honestly never tasted Indian food like it before.
J. S. C.
Fabulous food! Wonderful staff! I hear that they do Saturday and Sunday brunch! Must go! The restaurant area has a great amount of space in which the design and decor could be greatly improved upon. So much head space; high ceiling which could have a terrific gallery in it...
J. M. H.
Words cannot describe how good this place is. I've travelled to India before, so I can compare, & I have to say, this place makes the best Indian food. I'm from Malaysia, & we have good Indian food as well, but seriously, nothing compares to this place. And I still can't get over the fact that I found the best Indian food in Dublin, of all places!!! Every single dish we had was mouth-wateringly good! Great staff as well... keep up the amazing job, guys!! 👍👍👍👍
A. B.
An okay place but not with authentic Kerala food. Maybe you'd find authentic other Indian food.
M. A.
Great Indian food for group and couples. I really enjoy there sitting near the window, it was really romantic. The food was really taste and fresh. Waiters are really nice and welcoming people.
I won't give it the 5th star, as it is considered expensive compared to other Indian foods.
D. S.
The food was amazing, especially biryani had a really authentic taste. The place is compact, but it is nicely decorated. The only negative feedback is the music did not fit the ambience.
B. C.
Kerala coconut curry chicken, beetroot chicken, garlic naan and veg samosa..... My buddy and I were in heaven. The food checked all the boxes. The seating is family style with a few private tables but it didn’t bother us. Everyone was nice and the service was good.
H. S.
Kerala kitchen has the freshest, tastiest Indian food I've eaten in Dublin. The staff is nice, accommodating and the food has great variety. In ten days I've been here thrice already and can foresee myself visiting this place regularly. Thank you and please keep it up!
M. M.
Really, really nice Indian food here. Great selection on the menu and so many good choices! We both loved what we got. I'm not sure if they do delivery but we'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again soon!
D. F.
For my first time visit at the Kerala Kitchen, I liked the food quality of Chole and rice. Papadoms alongside was an addon in the experience. Sitting on the window seat for having lunch for a single person gets a nice view of the busy streets.
M. G.
I tried their foodtruck which can be found near the canal every Thursday. It was really delicious and cheap 10€ for fresh and tasty chicken curry with rice and yogurt sauce
M. M.
Visited this place in August 2019. Very humble and good staff. The ambience can be improved a bit but overall the food was very fresh. and taste was excellent. A very true authentic Indian food.
A. o. r.
yum not as oily as other indian takeaway
M. H.
Loved it great food fantastic vegetarian options, would strongly recommend it, would also go back. The masala kissed fries are awesome, the beetroot lollipops and onion bahji were very tasty, I had the Giant Ginger chicken and loved it, the naans are large as well, go with a group and get a mix of mains, great experience.
G. T.
Went here for lunch with a couple of work colleagues. Really good value and very tasty Food. I went for a chicken masala for main, which I normally wouldn't as I find a bit flavourless. But I had to say it was very tasty. Onion bhajis for side. Great flavour and quite filling to start. Well worth a visit.
I. S.
Although the name was a bit misleading for me, the cuisine has nothing much to do with Kerala, the overall quality and taste of the food was very good. Being from India, I'm very picky about visiting Indian restaurants overseas, but this easily became a place to come for lunch once a week with my colleagues.
M. L.
Consistent, tasty, good ingredients and not cooked to excess. Can recommend all of the vegetarian mains but particularly the bean curry, paneer and dahl.
C. M.
Best Indian takeaway in Dublin. Easy to see why there are a queue of people outside every time I visit. Seevice is always prompt and food delicious.
S. K.
Been here quite a few times. Love the food (it is the closest to authentic Indian/Kerala food I found here in Dublin), cosy ambience and the ever so friendly staff here. Definitely will keep coming back for more! Kerala pepper fry with Garlic coriander Naan will be my recommended meal and a glass of Mango lassi to go with it. 😁
M. E.
Fast preparation, nice staff, good quantity, average taste.
B. S.
Very tasty. Not too spicy but a wonderful creamy curry. Garlic naan was also delisicious. Would definitely recommend as a lunch time spot. Eat in and take away options both available.
A. E.
Really nice curry house. Been here 2 nights on the trot. Very quirky but very nice.
Last night the starter came with the main. The same happened tonight, so I (confrontionally) asked why, ready for a battle. The waiter diffused it with a simple “that’s what we do”!! Seemed hard to argue with at the time but then I thought it kind of defeats the point of calling it a starter.
But then I thought about it and I suppose I’m in Dublin eating from a Keralan restaurant. Least I can do is cut them some slack over the translations.
Whilst I’m at it, they sat me against the wall at a two seater table but unfortunately I shared a bench seat with the next table.
On which sat a very animated, young, plump Irish lady. I was being rocked back and forth as she gestured wildly. So not wanting that for the next hour, I switched to the seat facing the wall. The waiter was was having none of it and compensated by making sure he bumped into me every time he walked by or served an adjacent table. Probably paranoid but it did make me feel that maybe in Kerala you get bumped a lot when you eat; and once I had convinced myself of that,
I was happy.
Curry was actually really, really good and the service was spot on, but what made it unique, was an experience that made me smile - several times. Can’t knock it.
You can go to McDonalds or Pizza Express and they get it right every single time - so boring though. Kerala Kitchen is another league. Great food, great service and quirky subtle non invasive entertainment 😃
S. B.
Fresh, authentic Indian food. I love the Lamb Nadan (tender meat in a rich and spicy sauce) and the butter naan is amazing! Also fast delivery and friendly service.
Update: placed an order and added a note to say I loved the lamb nadan (which they no longer do) and the chef rang to discuss options (as I had ordered something very different). Unreal service and the food is great, highly recommend.

One of the best India restaurant in Dublin
P. M.
Excellent food in livingroom atmosphere:
The restaurant on the first floor has a cosy livingroom atmosphere. The service is friendly and competent, and the food delicious.
Also, prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portions.
We had the vegetable biryani and dum ka gosht (lamb in cashew sauce), also aloo chaat and onion bhaji. You could taste that the dishes were freshly prepared with a care for detail: e.g. the biryani was well and evenly flavoured, not too hot or too bland or with "pouches" of spices, and a well-balanced rice-vegetable ratio.
We went there on a Tuesday evening for a quick bite so we were more than happy with the cosy informal atmosphere. I would definitely come more often if I lived here.
C. B.
This is a real solid Indian restaurant. I ordered their chicken tikka masala with fries (yes, fries!) and garlic naan. It was perfect. The naan was light and fluffy, yet had that doughy satisfaction when tearing off a piece. The chicken tikka masala was gentle, yet rich and creamy. I found myself dipping the fries in the remaining curry. Wash it all down with a couple Tiger beers and I’m a very happy guy. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great food... Lovely customer service.
M. A. T.
Finally a place in Dublin that offers the most delicious variety of dishes, with beautiful cozy interior and very professional service AND is affordable. We loved it! Also Great options for vegans and vegetarians!
J. T.
Good restaurant in Dublin to have an authentic Kerala food. It wouldn't be an 100% replica of keral cusine. But l, they have done a good job in their menu.
Must try is chicken 65. Yummy, juicy, and amazing.
Kulfi, 1.50€ is the only desert available here but never miss it.
Restaurant seating are arrange above the stairs, which might not be that easy tonteach for all. And good luck with Parking.
N. Y.
Absolutely delicious! Probably some of the best Indian I have ever had, plus amazing service. You get a ton of food for what you pay for too! Two meals in one. I'd recommend

5 Stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
(Review based on Dine in experience)
Just thinking of the place now has me hungry. I highly recommend coming here.
Food is amazing. I love how they have designed the place. The folks who work here are always very friendly. I don't live or work around here so this is a place I make the extra effort to get to.
One thing the rubs me up the wrong way about this place is that they insist on taking payment for your meal at the table. It drives me nuts. I'd love to give this a 3⭐⭐⭐ review because of it, but I don't want to discourage people from coming here because the food is really good.
M. C.
I've long been a fan of the Kerala Kitchen at the Mespil Market, so I was delighted to see them open their own place on Baggot St. Luckily (for me) it lives up to the standards set in the market, only on Baggot St, there's somewhere to sit down and I can hit them up for a curry at night too! The staff are always friendly & helpful, and the decor is fabulous. I love it!
E. R.
Fresh Friendly & healthy! All dishes cooked from fresh ingredients, you can even taste the spices. Eaten here loads of times and always amazed at flavours and fresh quality dishes. Best Naan bread, fresh light and crispy just out of the oven. Very healthy as they serve brown wholewheat rice as well. Great choices for vegetarians as well as meat lovers. They also serve Kombuscha a healthy fermented drink which is good for your health. I always feel good after eating here as they dont use additives or processed sauces as the food is so fresh and sauces made from scratch daily. You can see in to the kitchens which i like! Great service and great value in a friendly atmosphere.
R. F.
Great for what it is! It's not your fine diner but for lunch they do a very decent hearty meal with free poppadums. Vegan options are good, Tarka Dahl and Chan's Massala are always on the menu and sometimes their daily specials are also vegan.
F. C.
Kerala Kitchen is a good Indian restaurant serving the taste from India's southern coastal state Kerala. We ordered Potato Molaga Podi which was really good but the other starter G/p Aloo Chat had way too tamarind chutney, we could not taste anything but the chutney. Our server happily agreed to replace chicken from Kerala Coconut Chiken with veggies :) And yes the coconut curry was delightful!
J. T.
We have got number of takeaways and dined in the restaurant it self - have never been disappointed. Food is of extremely good value, always fresh and very tasty! Staff are also great and will welcome you with a smile.
Keep up the good work and we look forward to our next visit!
B. C.
The food and decor here ia amazing. Well worth a visit. The portions are well sized and the butter naan was a huge hit. The service itself can be a little slow as there is generally only 2 waiters on shift, but with a little patience the food more than makes up for this.
A. V.
Oh I love this place, offer lunch at very reasonable price. Saag paneer is a must try, garlic Coriander naan is really good and I would suggest if you crave for samosas, try here, not the best but good enough to satiate your taste buds. It's pretty popular place for lunch, so you may find it difficult to get a table.
Try mango lassi as well, it's good.
D. A.
I think Kerala is the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. I have tried Chicken biryani, lamb biryani, lamb shish kebab, and Tikka Masala chicken. Everything was perfect! Thanks for that quality
E. F.
First visit today after climate change demonstration . The food , casual atmosphere , staff were all excellent . I would dearly like to have given 5 stars but sadly I feel I cannot . The food at lunch time is served in single use containers . The containers are compostable and there is a good recycling bin system for customer use . Wonderful to have compostable containers for take aways but not acceptable or necessary for eating in . Please reconsider, bowls would be perfect for lunches, and we would definitely return
A. M. K.
Update: I went to the restaurant for a meal and I loved the food! It looks like the menu has updated, or at least it's far better to eat in the restaurant.
Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, but this isn't Keralite food, or even Indian food. I don't know who's tastes are they trying to cater to, because even my Irish colleagues hate it. The chicken tikka masala is so sweet and tangy, its almost like a gaspacho rather than a curry. There is zero spices in it! The same story with a few other curries.
There are much better places to look for Indian food in Dublin, even if you are averse to trying spicy food.
V. P.
Awesome food.
As the name suggests this place is not actually fully.south Indian
It offrrs variety of Infian food...
Lamb and chicken curry is fantastic... Very tasty...
Biryani is OK.
Kheer is very sweet. There is also Kulfi available here in Dessers.
Tea is not that gr8.
Ambience is like ancient haveli... Very soothing...
For foodies, this is a must visit
L. S.
The food here is a-ma-zing. Also loved the rustic decor. However, be ready to wait for food, this is def not a place to eat fast. The service really depends o the waiter - some are genuinely friendly, some are just doing their job (which is already good thing tho :))
s. s.
Always good experience here and the food is simply just amazing 🙂
B.
Kerala Kitchen is one of my lunch stop as soon as I start from my office. The veg combo - Channa and Saag Paneer is my best as I am a vegetarian. But my friends had told me that Kerala Chicken curry is also best in non vegetarian. The puppad which is given along with your food gives you the feeling that you back in home. There are varieties of dishes in both lunch and dinner. Once you try, then you will come back here.
A. D.
its okay. only advantage is its in city center and area like ballsbridge. But absolutely not value for money. Much better Indian food is Anando in Dundrum shopping center .
G. K.
If I ever wanted a last meal I swear to God it would be this amazing place. My self and Nicki my flatmate, when in need of our fix. We dream of this little gem in Dublin! I swear the best onion bhajis are the best I ever had. Amazing food amazing service. Fast and friendly. I just can't say enough I'm a chef myself and Jesus I melt with the taughs of eating this. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Eating you soon.
a.
I needed a good feed for lunch and this place hit the spot. Good choice of food and combos are a great idea. Friendly helpful staff. Short wait for delivery of food to our table. On a street with many dining options, this is one I'll definitely return to.
A. M.
Food was delicious and filling. Definitely worth a try. We ordered the curry combo which had Kerala coconut chicken curry and chicken tikka masala

Fantastic food at a good price. Great unobtrusive service. Wide variety of food. Seated upstairs. Nice high ceilings. Only minor complaint is that it was a little loud and noisy .
J. F.
Great indian food. Small restaurant but great for take out. We order on a busy day so our order took a little long to get ready but overall great service and food!
L. B.
Great indian food. Small restaurant but great for take out. We order on a busy day so our order took a little long to get ready but overall great service and food!
G. W.
Excellent quality food. It's nice to sit in beside the window on the first floor, especially when the winter is bad! Cosy spot and really tasty, good value food.
A. D.
Some of the best Indian food you'll ever eat. The service and food quality is class. My favorite is the Keralan Coconut Chicken curry with pilau rice.
P. H.
Really nice curry dishes at a reasonable price. Although the lunch time options can get a tad boring since they never change it up. Would love if the spinach and potato curry from the market was available.
G. O. G.
Really nice Indian. Beetroot lollipops are really interesting. Portions are big. If going with a friend, try sharing the rice and nan bread.
Mango Lassi is everything :)
A. R.
Great place, have ordered several times (always and only the vegetarian dishes) and never got wrong.
A. H.
Oh GOD what to say about this place. This is a savior for people living in Balls bridge area. Though this place doesn't gives you the authentic Indian taste but whatever it provides you would be too good. I tried paneer saag with naan and it was awesome (given the food crisis i was going through).
But the naan was more of Khameeri roti. Quantity was more than required for one person.
This place is easy to find. It is on the Baggot street which is just opposite to Ballsbridge hotel i.e. it is at a 10 minutes walk from Ballsbridge hotel
H. P.
Delicious food and service. Ordered saag Paneer and dal along with garlic naan and rice; uniformly yummy. Even our infant daughter ate without any fuss. Nice choice of wall frames and decor furniture
J. L. S.
Great Briyani brunch. Very tasty. Slow service, but to be fair it was only one waiter serving and he had to run up and down to the ground floor kitchen.
C. P.
Delicious curry, good value too. Friendly and welcoming staff. I love getting the half lentil dahl with half chicken tikka masala, really tasty.
D. L.
Busy takeaway downstairs. Excellent curries in the restaurant upstairs. Recommend the veggie options esp. the aubergine (even for a meat eater)
P. G.
Nothing Kerala about the place. Lemon rice was plain rice with a few chana dal added as "tadka". Rest veg. items were bland.
Service was good
M. G.
Nice ambience and delicious food...
S. C.
Ordered saag paneer and mango lassi.
mango lassi was absolutely delicious.
Will order again.
C. D.
The food is average but not bad! The most annoying is that even if you eat in for lunch, you get take-away boxes. I think in a time where everyone should be thinking how to use the resources of the earth limited, this is really ridiculous
N. M.
My friends and I go here quite regularly. Good South Indian food which I like. Very friendly staff and service.
K. D.
It was ok, but it did not impress me. The room is very small and very noisy. Tables are small and the staff is very busy, so does not have time to assist.
I found the food to be ok, but far from the best I have eaten :)
F. L.
Delish. The signature kerela curry and onion bhajis are my go to. Naan is lovely too
J. P.
It's the first super clean/modern Indian restaurant I've been so far in Dublin. The food is great and the atmosphere too, I really like the way they have decorated the place
R. F.
Love the food in this place. Really tasty Indian. Chicken chettinad is my favourite. Worth the little extra cost wise.
R. S.
Authentic Indian food. Very well designed menu and excellent service. Must try saag paneer and chicken tikka.
K. G.
One of the best Indian restaurant near Baggot Street.
Lunch time favorite 😍
Saag Paneer, Cocunut Chicken and Chana Masala -- Finger licking taste
k. b.
Kerala kitchen delivered a fantastic meal to us. So delicious 😋 I have to recommend!
M. W.
Very friendly restaurant manager, tasty food and good portions , the ambience is what reminds you of old traditional Indian houses with the wooden doors, lamplighting and engraved door dividers, a lot of photos decorating the walls of India , really lovely experience :)
M. M.
Amazing spot for lunch. They offer lunch specials which are good value. Food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. After 3pm, it's the evening menu which is more expensive.
M. 1.
Best Indian restaurant in Ireland hands down! The lamb briyani is my favourite and you HAVE to have the Gunpowder potatos! !
R. P.
Unique customs in the restaurant from ordering to serving. Food served in paper bags and takeaway boxes. Very good taste. Place to go with friends and colleagues for a quick bite.
S. B.
Best Indian food in Dublin.
R.
Tasty and great service. Lacked the 5* quality food I was expecting when choosing their signature dish. Still nice though.
R. A.
Exceptional fresh flavoursome food, subtle, deep layers of flavour. An honest menu an absolute gem of a restaurant, friendly, attentive, with exceptional food, see you soon!!!
I. R.
Nice small Indian restaurant. All the items that we ordered we're good. I'd recommend this to everyone.
L. B.
Really good quality Indian food, not dripping in oil as some places can tend to be. Would definitely recommend!
S. A.
Enjoyed the meal..although they could have given more stress to Kerala. The meal was indian and was good but not Kerala as such
J. S.
Wonderful tasty Indian food
M. H.
Delicious food always nicely presented, lovely and efficient staff, friendly atmosphere and good music. Excellent value for money.
K. R.
Very relaxing place!Paneer saag is delicious. We also tried lamb pepper fry and lamb biryani. Very tasty and right spice!!
D. B.
Usually very tasty but occasionally let's down. Pricey enough. It's possible to sit in which is usually really good. The naan is very fresh.
R. G.
Wonderful food.. great curries, lemon rice and nan bread to die for. Can't wait for next visit
C. H.
Such awesome food and really friendly staff. Best Indian we have ever had hands down
A. M. E.
Disappointed with the surroundings. Very cramped with rickety tables abd chairs. Food was ok but a little disappointing. Their instagram pictures look way better than the actual dishes.
L. L.
Wonderful service, very attentive, great food and wine menu - all reasonably priced. Overall great atmosphere and nice seating upstairs
J. B.
In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. It is not a fancy place but the food is incredible and the staff is very friendly.

We stayed locally at an air bnb and found this on Google. It was a bit of risk as we had no idea what it'd be like.....but it was lovely. Rich, tasty and the perfect hangover cure!
C. A.
That's my favourite Indian restaurant in Dublin. Fresh, tasty, flavoured. Never been disappointed.
M. G.
Really good chai! Really good chat! The food was awesome! The veggies were missing a bit of tanginess. The papadom was very good.
M. A.

Excellent food. Very well presented and delicious, but service is not great.
S. N.
Combos are good. Not very expensive. Quantity of apt for individual. Only disappointment is tikka masala, which is surprisingly sweet.
R. T.
Some dishes are not Kerala specific. The chettinad lamb is really good here
A. T.
