Reviews of Kimchi Hophouse
I.
Delicious Korean/Asian food. Reccomended especially the Gyoza and the spring rolls as starters, the best ones I ever tasted!

First time being here! It is well worth a visit! I would advise to make a reservation. The staff are friendly and very attentive.
Currently (24-September-2021), it is outdoor dining at the back of the restaurant in the beer garden under gazebos! It is very well lit and the place was buzzing.
The food is street food style and I had the Japchae Beef, I would recommend it if you like noodles! The portion size was great! You will definitely be satisfied!
There is also a great selection of beers, cider, wine and minerals!
I highly recommended Kimchi Hophouse!

Love the food there! You need to make sure you have a reservation to dine it and they give you 1.5 hours to stay. The food were very pricey but good. I ordered the bibimbap beef and had the yangnyeom chicken to share with my friend. Also ordered kimbap bulgogi for take away as my breakfast. They all still taste amazing even after 2 days in the fridge. Recommend this place.

We ordered the bulgogi bokkumbap and the chicken katsu bento box through the JustEat app and compliments to both Korean Hophouse and JustEat for getting the food to us very very quickly during a busy time of the day. The food was still hot when we got them – almost like it was fresh from the kitchen! The moment we opened the food boxes, a mouthwatering aroma filled the room. The beef in the bulgogi bokkumbap had a “melt in your mouth” texture and the rich, savoury, umami-packed rice was a real flavour bomb. The chicken was lovely and crispy too. I’d definitely order from them again and I’d love to pay their Parnell site a visit.

Variety of delicious vegetarian food menu makes ne visit this restaurant again and again. And don't forget to try the Japanese pint Asahi.

Really nice place, I love the food and the portions are good.
C. M.
We went there on 24th of November, were with 8 persons. The food was awesome, big portions, the service was friendly and quick. The price was reasonable🍒🍒🍒The starter was great especially the chicken-bites.
P. C.
Kimchi is good for food, predominantly Korean dishes. Our visit was spoiled when, after paying a generous tip, we discovered we had been charged 10% service charge. Won't make that mistake again! Beware!!

One of my fav places in Dublin! Food is unreal and the price is so fair! Staff is super nice and the vegan food is unbelievable good and not overpriced like many places in Dublin! The outdoor area used to be better but of course they had to adapt due to covid so is a bit cramped when is too busy, but it is totally understandable! Cannot recommended it enough! #supporthophouse

Best place for Korean and Japanese food in Dublin. Rory the bartender goes above and beyond. Great atmosphere, definitely recommend

Takeaway Experience
A great delivery overall with tasty food, and a beer served cold.
Food was full of flavour; especially when the sauce was added.
A health choice.
K.
Great experience here, the food was tasty and filling and the staff were great. When we went the place closed quite early (around 10 or so) as per government restrictions. We sat in the beer garden for a while which I can imagine would be great if it could be a little busier. Overall, great authentic food and drinks as well as a nice atmosphere too.

First time visit having been recommended by a friend with great taste and yes he was right, this place is well worth a visit and very popular. Best to make a reservation but we hadn't and managed to get a table. The staff are lovely and welcoming. It's outdoor dining at the back of the restaurant in the beer garden under gazebos nicely lit and the place was buzzing and a hit with a mix of ages. Very much a street food style and I had the Bulgogi beef a house special, very popular and recommended to me and I really enjoyed it, it's presentation and it's portion size, this place certainly is value for money and feels authentic. It's my first experience of Korean food and I will go back for more and stay a bit longer. Highly recommended!

One day a few weeks ago, I had a common cold, I happen to wonder into this place, cause well, I was Hungry and tired and not well. Also I wanted comfort good food. They took really good care of me and offered me loads of water and the FOOD was delicious. I could taste spice and flavor even in that condition. I was so delighted at this that I have been coming here often, and introduced it to a few friends and family who are now madly inlove with the place too. If you looking for Authentic Korean Taste Kimchi is the best place hands down.
A.
Food was incredible, staff were lovely and the prices weren't bad at all for Dublin.
Only mark down is the lack of indoor dining and the outdoor area feeling like an alleyway. But that's the only negatives.
Would recommend!
R. N.
Have visited here before for the food and enjoyed it immensely, good sized portions and beer on flow.
This time just headed in for a beer with the brother. Was quiet, very quiet, considering it was a midday Saturday in the summers sun. Where was everyone?
Have a good few interesting brews on tap, but I wanted something new so ordered an Archway beer, was served nice and cold, and tasted great. Nice interior and the kitchen and dining room is easily reachable, a walk through, but this time we just settled on the beer.
Good friendly service in a relaxed settings.
D. j.
Great service, such lovely staff, made space for our group. Really loved the food, good portions, very tasty in the right places. Great drinks being attached to the bar, has a somac and tasted great
S. L. (.
You should get the spicy sauce for Bibimbap if you wanna try real Korean food. And no wine with Korean food🤦🏻♀️, try Soju in a Korean restaurant!
C. M.
Great food at reasonable prices, good table service and a choice of an outstand table (Smoking section). Good beer selection with Smithwicks on tap amoungst others. The toilets are small but clean. Beware of you sit at an outside table the air is thick with smoke.
a. a.
Great for big groups with outdoor dining in the back they've got heaters but do wear a coat.
The staff are soooo kind and super accommodating we had one come unannounced and they catered for it wonderfully 😊
The fooooooddddd.. omds is soo goood the flavour.. when i tell you ate my food so quick.. I had a bibimbap it was incredible so hot it was amazing.. the food here is top notch and very much authentic.
The teas the serve are sooo nice and so homey defo recommend the ginger tea or if you'd like to have tea as you go jasmine tea or camomile i think comes in a pot lovely!!
You NEED to go
F. K.
Had a Sundubu in a cold day last week. Super delicious. And when they say it's spicy, it IS Korean spicy 🤣🤩 100# recommended, and will come back!
S. M.
Good variety of drinks! Good food, but a couple of things on the menu weren't available. Since the food menu isn't large in the first place, choice can be very limited.
P. U.
Really friendly staff, good service, good choice of vegetarian dishes.we had the Korean dishes. I love kimchi but the one I got was not as good as the one I had in another Korean restaurant in chapel str. My favourite dish was the Jaykup or something like that very spicy pork. I think overall the could make a little more effort with the desserts.the white savignon blanc from new Zealand goes really well with the Korean dishes! Definitely worth a try.
A. C.
Vegan and vegetarian friendly. I had the vegan stew that was absolutely amazing! Vegan desert, soju bombs. Prompt and friendly service. I would say the bathroom needs a bit of makeover as it looks a bit rundown.
R. M.
This place is an absolute gem. The quality of the food is always superb. Presentation is fantastic and then the taste is second to none. You can order anything off the menu and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Love it! Soy potato roll is a winner for any crisp butty fans out there too by the way!
S. V.
I absolutely love this place. If you go here, you will understand why it is decorated with all the awards outside. I had the Tofu Bi Bim Bap twice with soy sauce which was so delicious. The sushi may seem pricey but the portions are so big, would recommend getting the sushi to share. Nice chill atmosphere here and the staff are always so lovely. My friends said the beers are good too.
E. F.
Lovely Food, and staff. Definitely worthy of 5 stars. Great spot for locals and visiting folks. shame about the smoking area though, lots of people smoking in it, would be great if it was just a general non smoking outdoor area.
H.
Can't get enough of this place 😍 the food, the playlist, the seating area at the bar, the artwork😩✨authentic Korean food with menus to cater to everyone. There are so many vegan options available. The avocado/tofu bibimbap and the Kimchi pancakes are both amazing🤤✨
C. O.
On the pricier side (7-19E) compared to some places in Dublin but the food is worth it in my opinion. Good seating, service was fairly prompt and always been clean and speedy.
I. P.
Awesome food and good bar. There's separate areas of the restaurant part and the pub part. They have the citron soju which is super nice! Also have Guinness! The food is really good too, especially the sushi. The sweet potato fries are kind of meh. But overall, the place has a nice pub-like atmosphere but Korean.
F. M.
Great food and very good value. Great service overall and lovely outdoor area. Wide range of drinks both local and international here too. Lovely outdoor area also.
V. C.
I like this place for years in every aspect but I have to say that food experience after covid was somehow disappointing. The menu is way smaller and the taste was poor compared to what it used to be. Guys please bring back pre covid chef :)
i. M.
Lovely traditional Korean restaurant with delicious food 😋. My friend and I arrived and we're immediately attended to once we stepped into the restaurant and shown to our seats. It was hot outside (21 degrees - almost melted) and my friend and I were roasting as we looked through the menu. One of the waitresses opened the window near us and served us both a glass of cold water - god bless her, she saved our lives! I ordered Jeyuk (Spicy Stir Fried Pork) and a glass of Seoljungmae (Plum Wine) 🍷 while my friend ordered Bulgogi (Grilled Beef Slices) and Korean Beer 🍻. We didn't have to wait long too as our food arrived just 20mins after ordering. Food was tasty and so divine. It's such a friendly place and the waitresses did everything with smiles on their faces. Marvellous food served promptly with friendly service - can't wait to go again!
i.
That's my favorite korean restaurant! It might bit pricey in comparison to the other Asian restaurants, but it's definitely worth it. I especially love bulgogi (the one on the bottom). The staff is also very nice and the place always clean, so giving it 5 stars♡
A. M.
I grew up in Vancouver where there was no shortage of Korea restaurants. Food was decent but I strongly believe there shouldn’t be anywhere in a restaurant serving food that the people at the table can smell the bleach coming from the toilets. We were seated at a table near the top of the stairs where the toilets are downstairs. You get a whiff now and again. Kind of gross and just not sanitary??
I ordered japchae with tofu. Tofu were looking very pale. Not much flavor to them. The veggies seemed like they were stir-fried separately (why??) and were underdone. Glass noodles were good but overall a bit too oily.
Dakgalbi is good but their Banchan is like baby bite portions that came with your rice dishes only. I would go elsewhere for Korean food fix next time!
K. H.
I love the general ambience but the food seems to have declined slightly since pre-pandemic. Still very good and worth a visit and hopefully it picks back up eventually.
F.
Korean food heaven! This is definitely a Dublin gem for those who wants to explore other Asian cuisine. Start with their yangnyeom and soju, perfect combo! They also have multiple Hansik choices from the menu to try out. Definitely worth a visit.
M. d. V.
The food was delicious (we ordered edamame, bibimbap, and peanut and caramel cake). The staff was helpful with a gentle approach. They also notice that we were a bit frustrated because we couldn't sit inside and they offered us a green tea. The price was reasonable for what we ate. I would definitely come back there!
D. A.
Lovely food and lovely service. Very polite and kind . I had a beautiful experience with Korean food Everytime I went there
M. S.
My tofu bibimbap was delicious! The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Reasonable prices. The place is obviously very popular as it was quite busy on a Wednesday evening!
J. J.
If you are having a small friendly gathering of friends this place is amazing for both good food and small group reservation.
The pricing of food is good and you get both fantastic size of portions and also really beautifull food presentation. Plenty if starters, extras and good desert and drink menu also staff are fantastic and once you ordered they leave you alone in peace untill you call them yourself which is great as I hate in other places youre mid eating food and waiters ask is everything ok so overall this place is AMAAZING to say the least.
I would suggest book in advance tho as its always busy so at times they wont have space for walk in customers unfortunatelly.
When in Dublin and want really nice Korean cuisine this place is a much check out I havent found better bibimpap than in here anywhere else!
P. B.
Best Korean food in town, everything we tried was great! Especially the fried chicken and the bimbimbap!
R. S.
Authentic tasting Korean cuisine. They even had rice wine. Soup tasted just like Korea as did the beef. Lovely kimchi too and very nice staff.
S. S. I.
Delicious food with unobtrusive staff which gives you plenty of time to have a nice chat over dinner or lunch. Can get a bit crowded during the weekend, but the place is almost empty on Sunday's.
I had the Kimchi bibimbap and it was delicious. A word of advice for the vegetarians, the kimichi is fried in pork fat, unless you request it to be vegetarian/vegan. I was unaware, till my server asked, as it is stated in the menu to be vegan. If you want a vegan/vegetarian meal, my advice is to confirm with your server that it is, even when stated in the menu.
The dishes are presented beautifully and taste as good as they look. Their Korean citron tea is my recommended drink. It is sweet, warm and delicious, especially on a cold night.
M. S.
I loved it! The service was great, the food was delicious and arrived very quickly, the Korean music on the back was so enjoyable. I had a great lunch time.
M. G.
Food is great stuff is nice. I wish they would have more seating space. It's hard to get a table
E. C.
So authentically Korean! Walking into this restaurant you feel like you've walked through some parallel universe and been dropped right into a restaurant in Seoul! The atmosphere/ambiance is bustling yet amazingly relaxed, laid back, owing in part to the adjoining pub (or "Hophouse", as it is called in Korea). And the food, well, what can I say: this is casual dining at its finest in Dublin, without a doubt! They've even won awards to this effect; and it's a reported favourite of foodies and top Irish chefs such as Ali Dunworth and Domini Kemp!! And little wonder, the dishes are presented impeccably well, the flavours are fantastic, and the produce is incredibly fresh. The signature Korean dishes such as the Rabokki, Jeyuk, Bulgogi, and Bibimbap are a *real* pleasure to experience, and the homemade Kimchi is pretty much infamous in Ireland, made fresh on the premises according to traditional methods every week. The proprietor and staff are an absolute boon to the buzz of the place, it's really got the feel of a kind of Bohemian community rather than a business. If you're looking for fine-casual dining, in a warm atmosphere, that won't break the bank, I highly, highly recommend it!
E. F.
Unbelievable food and so many vegan options. The Kim chi is, as you can imagine, phenomenal and they pour a great Guinness which we were impressed with. Service was also exceptional, such lovely staff. Cannot wait to go back!
M. G.
Very nice place, friendly staff and delicious food. Price a bit higher than elsewhere but definitely worth it. We ll come again.
愛.
The food is okay, the service is very slow and the price is quite expensive but so noisy from the glass recycling thing.
S. Z.
Such a delight to find this Korean restaurant~been craving for Korean food for days and finally this place satisfied my stomach. The beef bibimbap is soooo tasty and seems very authentic. Such a comforting warm food in such a cold winter evening. Service is very attentive. Highly recommended!
S. J.
Had to update my review the quality of food had dropped a bit. Curry noodles was grand, the beef suishi roll was grand but the balgogi beef dish... chewy as if it was just grizzle and fat and desserts were not worth even buying, taste like they sat in the fridge for an age
S. L.
Good quality price and lovely outdoor space for enjoy some drinks. I recommend it!
S.
Authentic and delicious Korean food, would certainly be back again. Staff were polite yet disinterested, but didn't affect how tasty the food was so 🤷🏾♀️
R. C.
The food is amazing and the portions are more than enough. Authentic Korean restaurant with a variety of foods. Tried the Tuna Bowl and the fish was delicious! Planning to return in the future 🌸
I. W.
Friendly and fast service! Good selection of Korean dishes and sushi too. The flavours are good and the price reasonable. Nice little joint!
D. M.
Lovedddd it!! As an Indian I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it but I was wrong. I absolutely love this place. I had the bibimbap and my bf has the chicken mandu. I seriously wanna go back and have another bowl of yummy Bibimbap 😋 Totally recommend it! Can’t wait to go back!!
O. U.
Lovely korean and japanese food. I really enjoyed veggie sushi there and various noodle dishes were great too. Lots of vegan options!
C. M.
This place had great food and provided quick, kind service. They are very accomidating and knowledgable for gluten allergies. They provide gluten free soy sauce. The food is fresh and the vegetables provide a nice healthy bite. The food comes out hot and is extremely satisfying.
N. A.
My go-to restaurant for Asian fusion.
The restaurant really picks up in the evenings so if planning to attend any time after 6, call and make a reservation. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They always greet with smiles and make the experience that much better.
Highly recommend the chicken mandu, octopus kara age, and creamy salmon roll. To be honest though, I haven't had a bad dish in general, these are just some of my favorite.
As many other reviews state, the restaurant is connected to a pub, the Hop House Pub which also has access to a beer garden.
Stop reading more reviews. It's worth it. Just go. Now.
M. D.
This is my third time here; the food and the place are so good. Plus, workers are so kind all the time. The food is affordable. Kimchi food with tofu is my fav!
B. S.
The food is fantastic. Staff very friendly. Great place also for pints. Deserts are out of this world.
M. S.
Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Only reason for 4* is that we waited 20 minutes between the first and second person being served. Otherwise great place.
W. K.
Popped by on a Friday night where we were seated under the tent, which made me a little nervous given the current Delta situation and seating was a little narrow.
We had the kimchi stew, kimchi pancake and yakisoba. The food was great, especially the kimchi. Highly recommended!
L.
One of my all time favourites in Dublin; the food is divine! The staff are always very kind.
M. P.
Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was super tasty. (The photo doesn't do the food much justice ~ presentation is a good strong feature of Kimchi) :)
R. H.
Slightly strange place....pub and restaurant and connected and can get food in both. Food is fantastic, reasonably priced Guinness 5€ , friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Recommended
C. C.
One of the best Korean restaurants in Dublin. Great wings too!!
I. W.
Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. Love the beer garden
s. p.
Lovely place, beautiful food.. Extremely love it, can't wait to visit again
R. D.
I love the food and the serve, the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I recommend this place to every one who loves Asian food. It's amazing.
G. E.
Pardon the funny faces. We came here for an afternoon “snack” and then accidentally ordered all of this. The restaurant was warm and cozy and some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had. I had the kimchi fried rice and my husband had the bulgogi. Be forewarned the kimchi comes with a kick!
S.
I so love to give more! Good it's amazing, I used to was regular there and I came back 5years later and food still delicious! But hey, service I received was just simply Bad. I was meet and seated, then waited to someone take order, had to call someone after 10min., When food arrived I was left there and never nobody came to see if I like it or I need anything, half meal I had eat and had to stand up my self walk from bar to restaurant to get soy souce my self. Why? - maybe short of staff. Maybe end of the shift or could be many reasons, can't judge but I was forstrated. Plus, dirty bar, disorganized and looks messy. They washing dishes front of the tables in restaurant, I mean that just wrong . But sure.. . Not the same anymore .. hope this message will reach the owners and managers... Will I go back, yes I will just because food is really delicious no doubts.!
G. G.
I loved the food here. You have the option to sit on the restaurant side (you should book) or on the pub side, which feels a bit more relaxed. The staff was friendly and the prices were very reasonable.
D. F.
We had a sharing platter and a smaller platter, and it was awesome. Very tasty. The wasabi has a serious kick! The service could be a little more attentive.
S. A.
Food in this place is unreal, so good! Service is a bit slow and look like they are always super busy
M. P.
Really good korean restaurant! Strongly recommend it, we were 2 person and order 5 dishes and beers and paid 27 each.
I. H.
The food is delicious and the waiter was so attentive. I only found the restaurant overall a bit dirty, no toilet paper in the toilets and no menus, you have to check the menu on your phone, but besides that I'm really happy, so many options to choose.
R. A.
the food is really good, the staff is really kind, everything is really clean! good place to go with friends!
J. R.
I used to love the selection of sushi here when we used to dine in here before the pandemic but the ones we had last time for takeaway was of low standard. Crunchy roll was just full of lettuce! Very disapppointing. A bit pricey too for a takeaway.
B. V.
Never a bad meal here. You can expect top quality food no matter what you order.
S. J. B.
Have been here twice and the food is always outstanding! Love the service and the staff and the portions of the food. Very reasonable price and the place is clean and always buzzing.
m. r.
So tasty! I had the vegan bibimbap and it was so good!
E. H.
I wanted to like this place more, but my “sizzling plate” dish came out luke warm, the seating location we were given wasn’t nice, and the waitress didn’t check on the table for 45mins after we finished our meal. I might try the place again, as some of the menu options do look interesting, and there are nicer seatings spots, but I won’t be in a hurry back unfortunately.
T. L.
Great place for both food and beer. Very friendly staff with local friendly clientel. The yangnyeom chicken was super succulent and crispy.
A. D. R.
Great korean food. Amazing for the price.
C. C.
It's just the best place for food and drink in Dublin. Hands down. Sincerely love this place and visit it everyone I'm in the city centre :)
A. K.
Great outdoor dining area. Good choices for vegetarians. Very nice staff
F. S.
Great staff and great food, service is very quick even during busy hours
A. U.
Great staff, great food, not overpriced, place with a history too 😁😁 had beef all the way, a pint of beer and ready to go for a day.. will return, recommend! 😎😎
K. C.
Excellent food. The sushi and bimbibap are delicious. The staff are also incredibly friendly and service is quick. Another benefit is they have a bar at the side where you can watch the match .
N. W.
Visited a few weeks ago. Exceptional customer service and the food arrived very quickly! Next time I’m in Ireland, I’ll definitely be visiting again!
D. S.
Great friendly place with greatest food and service 👌😍❤️
c. m.
Lovely food, atmosphere and service as always. One quibble... lack of English translation/ explanation of menu. Many people’s knowledge of Korean food is limited. I had to Google many of the items on the menu to find out what they were! So please folks... a detailed description of the food would be greatly appreciated.
S. D.
Had a fantastic meal here with friends. 6 of us in total...table booked in advance. Lovely atmosphere in the place and the staff looked after us very well. The food was incredible. Amazing flavours and so well cooked. The dumplings are delicious
보.
I could feel like I had korean food :) and there is a lot of nice beer.
It was good :)
S. C.
Quite unpleasant experience we just had here. We got there quite late but the staff let us sit in. However, they rushed us every chance they got which felt very uncomfortable and rude. The only pleasant member of the staff was a bartender who is, funny enough, not Korean. The food was hit or miss. Jeyuk was nice but Kimchi ggigae was very tasteless. At 10 pm (early closing time due to Covid I guess), they again rushed us out despite our food was unfinished. I was trying to be nice to tip them but the waitress put 65 euro instead of 55 on the card machine. When I pointed it out, she didn't even seem sorry LOL thank goodness I did not miss that stupid mistake. Overall, very disappointing experience and won't come back here again.
J. T. V.
Love this place- staff are so lovely and the food is absolutely delicious
R. A.
The best Korean food place in Dublin for me.
N. M.
Great experience. Tasty Korean food at a fair - not cheap but not too expensive - price. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Even though it was quite crowded you could have a decent conversation. The staff was very nice.
J. K.
Above average Korean food, average bar, slow service. Sorta recommend. It wasn't bad!
F. S.
One of the best restaurants in Dublin. First the staff is excellent. The food is divine. Korean specialties at their best. The kimchi is grandiose. All of this happening in an old Irish pub called the Shakespeare. What a treat! Please please please go and taste the food. There is also a huge range of beers, wines and Korean alcohol. Enjoy!
許.
When the winter coming, I really need hot food! I think this restaurant is really excellent!
Good service and nice food 🥘
J. K.
Good Korean food with plenty of choices for both vegans and carnivores.
J. C.
Great food in an informal setting. No idea what I ate but it was delish.
K. C.
Five star coming from an hopelessly asian stomach.
Cant believe that extra bowl rice is free! Definitely recommend it to everyone!
P.s i ordered Soondooboo! It is amazinggggggg!
y. y.
quality of food is getting lower, and the price of the food is getting expensive.
D. B.
Amazing food!
We had their sushi special which, from memory, consists of about 40 pieces! It came on a platter nearly 2 feet long but gluttons we are, we finished it!
We were seated near the kitchen and got a birds eye view of all the food leaving it and were like children, "I want that, I want that"
Great buzz about the place, arrived without a reservation at 6.45pm on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get in so recommend reserving beforehand. Amazing experience.
s. s.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic. Dumplings, sushi, noodles all great. The chicken wings are also just super. 5 stars. It even has a pub where you can watch for footie while eating this delicious food.
P. T.
Decent place for Korean food in Ireland. We tried our favourite dish Dak-Gal-Bi, taste was good but not great as you get in Korea. Kimchi was good. So for different cuisine one can try there.
A. W.
Amazing. If you are looking for authentic Korean food. This is the place to go. Never lets me down. Brought my boyfriend here and he is very picky but he loved the food too. Staff are very friendly too. Atmosphere is nice, and can get very busy.
A. G.
Great spot for Korean food. Delicious dumplings and their fried chicken is gorgeous. Great to have the pub connected so you can go for a few drinks and a have some food at the same time or have a sit down meal. Menu has gotten a bit more expensive over time but that's to be expected with the growing popularity. Only complaint is the bathrooms can be a bit grim .
D. M.
Tasty food but small portions
G. c.
Tried different dishes and love them all. One of the best Korea restaurant in the city. However, the fresh ginger and lemon-grass + raspberry (fresh) drinks were not good/as expected.
S. M. D. M.
Kimchi Hophouse is wonderful. Half Korean restaurant, half Irish pub; it's one of the many great examples of Dublin's exciting and ever growing food scene. The place has always been busy when I visit. However, more recently I was delighted to see that due to the current lock down, they have extended their delivery range to take in orders from 5-6km away. I really hope that they continue with this policy when this crisis blows over. Suburban customers love Korean food too! :)
N. R.
Good food at reasonable prices. Could do with a cleaning
N.
This is a hidden gem in Dublin. The small Korean restaurant has very good food and an excellent selection of Korean drinks. Went here for Valentine's day, and even though they were fully booked they squeezed us in. The Korean side-dishes and mains are superb. Last time I went there we had the bibibap and it was served on a gorgeous hot stone bowl, and of course, delicious. Prices are good too! Go here!
R. S.
Excellent Korean food, prompt service even though it's fairly busy all the time. Great bar in the back with a good stock of Korean and world beers. Good prices to boot! An ideal place for any kind of evening: dates, family, friends. A true gem tucked away on Parnell Street.
C. A.
Food was delicious and a good range. Service was friendly but a little slow.
S. M.
I've been here twice now and enjoyed every bit of it. I advise booking a table as we nearly got caught out the first time. Thankfully they squeezed us in on a busy Saturday evening. The staff both in the restaurant and bar are really nice, friendly & helpful. The tempura prawns are the nicest I've ever had and the rice roll's are amazing! Perfect meal for sharing and washed down with a bottle of rice wine.
D. E.
I've eaten here three times in two weeks; it's that good. Every meal has been delicious and now that they have more staff, the service is good. It's a busy place with a vibrant atmosphere: an interesting mixture of Irish pub and Korean/ Japanese restaurant.
S. B.
A fantastic South Korean restaurant attached to the Hop House pub. Food is superb washed down with a lovely draft beer, what more can a man want. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It does get busy in both restaurant and bar but a great atmosphere. A group of us go at least once a week. Highly recommended.

It’s a Korean and Japanese restaurant, I tried the dumplings and dal gabi it’s appetising and friendly place to visit .
K. M.
Delicious Korean food, made properly. Service with a smile and reasonably priced beers. What's not to love? Really worth a visit. The bibimbap will warm your cockles on a cold night. Proper comfort food in a cosy setting.
E. H.
I love this place, I've ordered most of the menu and this point and I don't think you can really go too far wrong! The kimchi is always delicious, the Korean fried chicken is amazing and any other dishes I've had are always top notch! Also a surprisingly good spot to watch a match if you can get space in the bar!
F.
An interesting mash up of a pub/restaurant. With Irish-Korean decor and a Korean fusion menu, it makes for a really interesting night out, and attracts all sorts of crowds.

Super friendly stuff, great atmosfphere and gorgeous food. Thank you so much for having so many vegan options. Definitely will be back soon!!
A. C.
one of my favourite places to go for Korean food. The Kimchi Jjigae is nice and spicy
D. R.
Great food and great price.
A. E.
A hidden gem around Parnell Street. Great Korean food.
We tried as starters dim sum and prawn tempura and tried beef bulgogi and spicy chicken. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

Very good food! Lovely place, will definitely stop by again!

Really liked this restaurant. The food was really good and its great that there is a bar to order from. I had the sushi here and it was really tasty. Service was good also. Only downside is their bathrooms which is just a little unkept and could be a lot better. I would still highly recommend this place for their food.
G. L.
The kimchi fried rice was good!
R. L. R.
In my opinion probably the best Korean restaurant in Dublin.
I. L.
This is THE place in Dublin for Korean food. Casual dining, and really top notch fare. Staff are always great. Would never hesitate to recommend.
M. B.
Nice food and lot of different thing on the menu for all the tastes. The prices are good and the service very nice. Lot of different beers as the restaurant is also a pub. The portion used to be bigger I think, but it is still a very good place to eat Korean food in town!
B. B.
I work just around the corner from this place and it had been hiding right under my nose the whole time. About a year ago I was introduced to Korean/Japanese food while abroad. I had been looking around for nice Korean food in Dublin and else where. (I live way outside the city). I finally got around to trying this place, and it was the best experience I have had to date. The waiting times were quite reasonable considering how busy the place looked, I guess that is down to the wonderfully professional staff! The food, well it's the most authentic Korean cuisine I have found in Dublin. The sushi is presented traditionally, and tastes as good as it looks. Due to the convenience of the location, the quality and value of the food, it is safe to assume I will be back again, and again, and again, and again...........
S. Y.
Solid Korean food in Dublin; the bulgogi was really rich and tasty
S. G.
It is great when some things never change. When I lived in Dublin I came here almost every week. Now back for a visit and needed to come back. Good food! Best Yakitori ever! I like the atmosphere in the restaurant even if I cannot describe why. The pub next to the restaurant is lively without being too busy so you can stay for one more pint. Only negative thing is that in comparison with other korean places, it is pricier here...
D. W.
Really delicious food and well priced. Absolute must for asian/Korean food lovers
D. K.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. The food is really good, especially their Bulgogi which is their signature dish. The atmosphere is also really nice, as it is neither too small nor too big and all staff are Koreans. Highly recommended if you are a friend of Korean / Asian dishes.
Z. B.
Great food Kimchi pancake is delicious and spicy. Too much for one but would be good for 2-3 as an app. Nice beer selection, trendy music, everyone in the place was obviously having fun.
D. d. B.
I love all their food. I recommend the traditional dishes at least once. Particularly the bimbibap and their sushi. But especially the fried chicken and the pumpkin croquettes. So good! The staff are so friendly. And the adjoining bar is great fun. Altogether great spot!
g. g.
I went here with a few friends, initially skeptical when walked in due to location and decor. However the food is absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh , hot and full of flavor . Completely different dining experience for anyone that is looking for something like that. I will be back.
F. F.
Amazing food and service, my new favourite restaurant in Dublin. I loved everything from the lovely smiley waitress to the reusable metal chopsticks(think of the planet), and the food was gorgeous. I would recommend trying the soy potato rice rolls, so tasty.
G. O. G.
A hidden gem of a place. Try the crazy roll and bapangi (so bad with Korean names)
Also the honey tea with ginger was delicious.
A. M.
Absolutely love Kim chi hophouse. We visit every time we're in Dublin. The sushi is phenomenal and reasonably priced and the selection of Japanese and korean dishes is fantastic. Personally I love the korean dishes, and anything with Kim chi in it is ridiculously tasty. The staff is always friendly and attentive but it can be quite busy at night time. They seem to have quite a lot of seats and there's a great selection of beers and drinks to accompany your meal.
j. K.
Food was good. I had the fried octopus which was fine. Then I had Galbijjim which was very nice.
Staff were polite and friendly. It was a busy night that we went in so you might have to hail them down to get there attention, so be prepared for that.
Soju was a tad expensive but it's alright.
Overall, a nice affordable place to meet with your friends or family to try new foods.
L. O.
Brilliant. Well worth visiting to savour the beautiful food served up by the most helpful and friendly staff washed down by your favorite beverage from the bar. Will be returning to try other dishes from the menu and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Don't miss this fabulous experience............
A. L.
Delicious - and a great range of vegetarian options. Service a little on the slow side (don’t come if you’re in a rush!) but the food is fantastic
S. B.
Food was not that great, and why do I say that. After spending 3 years plus in Singapore and trying different customers including Korean I know that the food served in Kimchi Hophouse is a version of Korean which has been adapted for European palmate and not the authentic taste it should have.
I would have preferred if they had an option for different hot(spicy) levels as then they could cater to all types of customers. Not a place when I will go back again.
m. p.
amazing place, I end up going there every time i am in Dublin. They have few really good vegan friendly options: you should definitely try the Tofu Bibimbap: just ask them not to put an egg on it if you're vegan! The staff is friendly too, and half of the place is a pub, so you don't even have to walk that long for a post-meal pint!
P. B.
Food was amazing. Sushi is one of the best here. Attention was good but we never received water we asked for, they didn’t get the plates after we finished. The place needs more personal maybe. Good tough
R. A.
Celiac friendly with certified gluten-free soy sauce for the table. Staff was very friendly but the service was slow and the prices were very high. Reservations in advance highly recommended.
K. R.
One of the best Korean / Asian places in Dublin. Great menu, fresh healthy authentic dishes. Great bar. Try the teriyaki donburi, the bibimbap, or the ginger tea.
C. S.
Old man pub and Korean restaurant in one! Great place to watch matches. Good Guinness. Staff are lovely. Every 6 pints gets chicken mandu with a loyalty card too, what more could you want?
E. M.
The food is very good. Nice mix of Korean and Japanese style sushi which were both excellent. Only reason it's four stars is because the Vietnamese place right next door (Pho Viet) is a bit better.
K. B.
Had a great meal here with colleagues from Work! We all said that we would come again!
Starters were great I had chicken dumplings and the main I had the Dakgalbi was first class! Even used chopsticks!
E. M.
We started and ended our night here because we liked the vibe so much. This is a great pub, and although we didn't sample any the food looked fantastic. Will definitely be back soon to try it.
E. M.
Awesome food with fairly good price. I organized a dinner out for a group of 10 people and they were super kind and flexible in everything we needed. :)
C. O.
Absolutely brilliant spot. The restaurant is extremely reasonably priced and delicious. The bar has a great selection, the staff are very pleasant and accommodating and the beer garden is perfect. Highly recommend this place. Plus there is a luas stop nearly directly outside the door!
S. R.
Fantastic prices for the alcohol. Hard together a seat after a certain time in the pub. And even the smoking area. They reserve tables everywhere including the smoking area. I've arrived in after work only to be moved on twice by 8. All because they've gauranteed the tables to someone else. very frustrating.
J. L.
Love the food and staff are friendly. Would give 5 stars only for service being a bit slow and starters and mains coming at the same time.
K. B.
Lovely Korean food with good service. The sweet chilli prawns were just amazing. Much better than anything at Wagamamas! The Hophouse bar next door was very convenient for after dinner drinks.
R. W.
What a gem. Delicious food at a great price. The mandu is a must! Jeyuk and bulgogi are my personal favorites but it's hard to go wrong here. Easily up the with the best Korean food in Dublin.
E. G.
Amazing food! Korean BBQ beef is excellent and the dumplings are cooked perfectly. The staff is very nice and it adds up one more reason to go there! I highly recommend!
C. C. O.
Very good Korean restaurant! My soondooboo zigae was excellent. It's spicy, nutritious and delicious. Service was friendly. Just one thing is tables are too close to each other so it was a bit awkward to get in and out.
D. M.
Amazing food, amazing outside beer garden heated outdoor seating area for lockdown and winter. Great service. We loved it
R. W.
Second time I've been here, definitely won't be the last.
Fantastic staff, great food, nice atmosphere.
Bibimbap was tasty ( wouldn't mind a bit of pickled ginger though)
Proper etiquette when it comes to Soju is definitely a must.
S. S.
Always a great place to eat some good Korean food. Also, if you feel like grabbing some drinks after dinner, you just need to walk across the room and you're inside the pub.
M. E.
This Korean restaurant/pub is not appealing looking at the front but don't let that put you off as inside is fairly basic but very clean and acceptable.
There are two parts - restaurant and pub. We ate in the restaurant so comments will be confined to this.
We arrived before 5pm so able to choose from the Lunch menu which is cheaper. My wife had beef Bibimbab which was excellent and I had Soondooboo Zigae with kimchi. The Soondooboo was not to my taste as your taste buds are assaulted with an overwhelming chilli hit whereas I like complex flavours (garlic/ginger/chilli/etc) but then I'm criticising the nature of the beast.
Good food, good portions, good service and reasonably priced - what's not to
O. R.
Nice place. A range of Korean food and sone Korean drinks too
E. M.
Really good food and very affordable drinks
A. H.
Great food, great service.. Lovely atmosphere ♥
P. N.
This Korean Restaurant carries off the challenge of creating an authentic Korean atmosphere in an authentic Irish Pub. A Fusion of the best of West and East. Waiting and bar staff enthusiastic and friendly, food really good. Guinness great. Get there, top end of Parnell Square. Buzzy part of town.
L. R.
We've been ordering from here on deliveroo and their bento boxes are to die for, the spicy pork, the spicy chicken, the teriyaki salmon are amazing. We are also addicted to their mandu (similar to japanese gyozas) and miso soup.
T.
Nice korean and japanese place. When you look from outside it doesn't look too good but food is very nice. We tried korean stews (pork and tofu) and sashimi selection. Sashimi was nice but I really liked korean tofu stew. It was very tasty, full of flavour, spicy... Great combination. The only remark was they brought everything at the same time. So our table was full, it was very difficult to eat. The staff was very polite and the prices are very reasonable.
D. S.
My favorite Korean restaurant in Dublin. I am absolutely addicted to their bibimbap with salmon and spicy sauce. Very casual place, you can sit either in bar or restaurant. They have good selection of Korean drinks and service normally is very quick. We often go to Top House before movies either in Cineworld or Savoy - both no more than 10 minutes walking.
T. R.
Great Korean and Japanese food enjoyed in the edgy atmosphere of pub meets Asian restaurant. Expect delicious dishes, tasty beer and an odd mix of young and old clientele. (There is a cool garden out the back)
R. d. S.
Excellent Korean and Japanese food. The staff are so friendly and the place is so nice. There's a great beer garden as well. The price is not expensive and the food is absolute of quality.
J. M.
Really delicious honest tasty food at very reasonable prices. Warm friendly service. One of my favourite spots north of the Liffey.
C. L.
Absolutely loved this place. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and it has a nice vibe too. It's more like a bar with food than a restaurant. Highly recommended if you like Korean food.
M. P.
Food was great! Lot's to choose from, food and service was excellent. Great place to catch up with friends over lunch or dinner, they have a bar as well
R. G.
Great place. Always busy and should be as good is fab.
A. L.
Extensive menu with a variety of authentic Korean and Japanese dishes. Reall tasty food with a difference. Great value with late opening hours and right around the corner from the Gate making it a perfect pre or post theatre dinner spot. The hop house bar attached is a cool place to just stop by for a taste of Korean beer too.
C. P.
Best Restaurant in Dublin (I tried so far). You can have a fantastic bibimbap for less than 11€.
Sushi and bulgogi are excellent as well.
Staff is very friendly and smiling.
If you want to come early you can have a cheap pitcher with your buddies in the pub-side.
J. A. M. B.
My favorite restaurant in Dublin. The looks are a bit off, maybe because it is attached to a pub. The food, both Japanese and Korean is to die for. Amazing price-value for lunch. The Crunchy Roll is a must have. Bulgogi, Beef Teriyaki and Sushi Set are very good as well. You can skip the dessert, though. They have a good variety of beers and a beer garden.
V. D.
Excellent food, good service
E. D.
I love this place. Whenever I get a chance I'm in. Best vegetable tempura I've ever had and I love the tofu bibimbap! I always get a citrus and honey tea after. It's well worth a visit!
A. K.
Delicious food , lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I wish I lived closer , would be coming more often
M. H.
A charming resturant and a cut above many other places on Parnell St and down Capel St. Excellent selection of what feels like authentic Korean and Japanese food (although there is no doubt that it has been modified a little to suit western tastes.) Still, the experience feels real, I really like the decor (quite Irish) and having an Irish pub as part of the set up - right next door- is a unique and quirky feature that really appealed to me. I'd recommend!!!
A. R.
People are very nice and hospitable. But I have had much better Korean food. Service is great though.
C. M.
First impressions of the Hophouse are not great. The place isn't visually stimulating, nor does it inspire confidence. However, the sushi is very tasty and super fresh. Defo worth visiting for the food. The staff were kind and friendly too :)
j. M.
Normally love this place but have had 2 bad experiences recently. Really long waits for food +40mins for edamame starters. Really understaffed. Every table looking for things like cutlery & water basic. I'm sure they will rectify these issues soon as the foods great generally. Apart from the sushi
M. d. V.
Very nice Korean place, not too expensive for Dublin standard. Bar has screens for watching sports while having dinner, and as it's not as busy as the conventional bars, I often go back here to watch football.
L. S.
Love this spot! Always great food and service!
B. M.
Loved it. Bustling little place on St Valentine's Day. The beef bulgogi and dak galbi were just like I remember from living in South Korea. Soju cocktails were yummy! I'd definitely go back for more!
I. C.
Spacious Asian restaurant. Good service. Great value in the bento boxes, which offer different varieties. I love salmon but the other can be good too (beef, seabass...). Kimchi, sushi, sashimi, noodles... They are all really tasty. Vegetarian options and kids menu available.
S. S.
The best korean restaurant and pub in town! Be nice and they'll be even nicer to you!
D.
Very good Japanese rolls, I was impressed. However the mandu and the kimchi jigae were too salty. So you will have to choose what to order here to your own preference. Overall I would say it’s good.
M. S.
Authentic Korean food and flavours, good prices and quick service. A bit tight with space, and the shared space of the bar/pub is the reason for not a solid 5 star.
M. C.
Delicious food and great service.
A. C.
Excellent Korean food in a very unique venue (Korean-Irish pub?). The bibimbap is very good here, and this is one of the few Korean restaurants that serves one of my favorite Korean dishes: seafood soondubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew with seafood).
S. S.
One of my favourite places in Dublin! It’s so unexpected , food is delicious 🍣 staff are always so polite. It’s very chilled out and the crowd is eclectic 🍛
J. O.
Bloody fantastic, don't regret coming here😂
A.
Food is delicious, toilets need refurbishing badly. Staff could do with a little more English. Sushi was too wet and didn't need the coleslaw on top. We got Californian sushi.
D. L.
This place introduced me to both Korean food and, most important of all, the wonders of Bulgogi (it deserves to be capitalised).
Never has a single dish held such power over me. I've tried to try other items more during my dozen or so visits over the years but the bulgogi is just too perfect to pass up! The desserts are very nice too, the mochi ice cream in particular being a favourite of mine.
If you've never tried bulgogi, try it here. Or try it anywhere. Just go eat bulgogi, it's the greatest.
S. l.
I have been several Times, i got bimbimbap and some another foods. All good. Staff is Nice and really cool bar to the other room.
a. m.
Very nice food, especially tapas. Service a bit all over the place. Dipping sauce portions on the small side and overall it's quite expensive.
M. L.
Kimchi Hophouse is on my list of places to eat at again.
The food was delicious - my friend and I paused our conversation to enjoy the food!
And the coffee at the end of the meal was perfect.
R. G.
Delicious Bibimbap, plum wine and sushi.
g. k.
Lovely staff, lovely food, a really genuine and quality place. Get in and spend a few euro if you have it, times are tough and it will be worth it
C. C.
Delicious food, good price and friendly service.Great atmosphere, restaurant always buzzing and Irish Bar full of the Craic.Love this establishment as does the whole family. The kids meals are wonderful too, my 10yr old loves this place.
M. Q.
Amazing food and great value!
M. E.
Good Food.. Loved the Kimchi Stew
N. S.
Great food and great atmosphere. Good quantity and quality. Got the calamari and bulgogi. Only downside is having to queue for alcoholic drinks at the bar
B. K.
A very trendy bar 10 years ago it's still one of the best in the area around the top of grafton street. Asian cooking with craft beer. A perfect combination. It's still popular and a handy place for a pre theatre bite to eat if seeing a play at the Gate Theatre.
T. L.
Delish, yum, nom. Great Korean food - try the bibimbap or the korean fried chicken (warning, spicy!) washed down with Galway Hooker or McGargles pints! Finish off with mochi ice cream :)
H. M.
Although this place is a little expensive, (37 euro for two mains and one coke), I found the food to be really delicious and fresh. Would gladly go back again and pay for high-quality food.
R. V. S.
Only a quick stop to try some starters, delicious, maybe expect for the wakame which looks amazing but taste kinda bah... New prices and feels a bit expensive. Friendly staff as always.
D. W.
Very good Korean food priced reasonably. Good atmosphere in a converted pub. Service is very good.
V. T.
A good tasty all around meal. A little expensive if anything. Strange thing, we were forced to leave at 11pm stating they may were closing and we could go next door for more drinks! We didn't want more drinks just a coffee and something sweet to eat. Oh well
N. K.
Amazing good. Amazing value. Nice staff. Decent pint. Mad combo of inner city Dublin pub and good Korean food.
Y. B.
Nice and lively Korean place. The food is good and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi. The Korean food was excellent as you would expect from a Korean place.
D. H.
Delicious Korean food and sushi. Gotten more popular over the last few years which can contribute to a bit of a service decline, but food still delicious.
B. B.
Delicious food and friendly staff
A. B.
Great food. Cool vibe.
M. C.
Nice place, I wasn't in there for long but the atmosphere was good and the service was quick. The staff seemed lovely and the waitresses where on point with the table service.
r. m.
Absolutely delicious. If you want food that is well thought out and seasonal come here. If.you want to be treated.above your station don't. Good lovers only. Definatly be back.
S. T.
Great Korean restuarant connected to a nice bar on Parnell Street. Bibimbap is delicious. Would go more often but just that little bit too pricey for lunch. Maybe a lunchtime special??
R. G.
My favourite place to get my korean food fix. 된장 찌개, a bean paste stew, is my favourite to eat at this time of year. The bar being beside it is an added bonus. Have tried so many other korean restaurants but always return to Kimchi everytime. :)
L. S.
Great experience - love the menu, the set up including the pub attached. Delighted I tried it and I will go back 😊😊
L. C.
Really great comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere. I've been a couple of times now and both times the service has been a little slow and inattentive but hopefully that's something they can resolve.
S. F.
I eat Korean food quite a bit and the place is probably about average but then I went to it for a few drinks one day and had some good banter with the bar staff which made me give it that extra star.
J.
Very pricy food but cheap drinks. Good quality but and very busy! Might be good to book a table if going on a weekend and you want some munch!
C. H.
I always go to a Korean restaurant whenever I travel. Undoubtedly this one served one of the best soondubu jjigae I have ever had. Would definitely come back. I highly recommend this place!
K. D.
I love this place. Drink prices are very reasonable and it has a great atmosphere. Korean food is just so-so but not bad.
N. 2. P.
Delicious food, reasonable prices and great choice options. Perfect for pairs or as big groups, very warm feeling to the place.
백.
Best bibimbap in the town!
y. w.
Excellent food and excellent service! My boyfriend and I just tried here for the first time and we will most definitely be back :)
a. f.
Good staff. Good quality and cheap prices for the quantity of food. It was delicious and that give me the desire to come back once more.
c. k.
Great spot to catch up with friends. The restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The other half is a nice little bar with a funky smoking area
A. K.
Great food, prices and drink selection. Be picky about your seats though they're not all comfy. Good to get their early and start your drinking night with a good meal first.
C. C.
I love the food,it was my first time trying Korean food and it was amazing. I had the soondubu jjigea back in July. Great service and staff,I'll come again <3
E. S.
Very frequent stop to eat Korean food. Excellent food and selection of plum wines. Countless good and delicious times have been had there.
D. B.
Really good authentic Korean food. Good pints for a fair price. Smoking area in the back. Love it.
m.
Hand on heart my favourite restaurant in Dublin. I've been going here for years and the quality has never faltered once, make time to come here for sure.
J. L.
Amazing beer and amazing food. Staff are great too! It's on my "must visit" list every time I'm in Dublin
I. D.
Food is great. Me and my friends went here a couple of times already. We love the crazy roll!:)
D. G.
The food is delicious, especially the Bulgogi, and the atmosphere is great. I'm taking away two stars for the completely gratuitous price increases recently. Pretty greedy.
o. p.
Their food was really lovely but the place is always super busy so you better book in advance.
W. S. M.
One of my favourite Korean/Japanese restaurant in town. It's got that authentic feeling, staff is super friendly and the food is amazing!
J. P.
Short trip in Dublin and was recommended this place by friends. Did not disappoint. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Dublin!
P. B.
Delicious! A group of us ordered various different things, and all of us were impressed. Vegan friendly, too.
S. B.
Most multicultural pub in the city, originally called the Shakespeare (it's still written above the door) it's now integrated with the Asian restuarant next door. You can get a point of Guinness and some octopus as a snack. Can't argue with that.
D. I.
Great place for a few beers and some good food. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Super selection of brews!
H. S.
Very cool place, it's like a pub integrated with a Korean restaurant. Can't remember the name of my dish but was delicious
S. P.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. More veggie options would be fantastic, but the one that there are are unreal! Highly recommend.
V. F.
Great place! Amazing sushi and all the main dishes I have tried were great too.
S. L.
Unbelievable, the best Korean in Dublin. Quick service and everything beautifully done. Will be back again
E. N.
It is a strange Mixture between a Korean Restaurant and a pub. Good place to drink a beer, it is one euro cheaper than the touristic Pubs in center.
F. T. L.
Amazing kimchi place. Glad to have found this little place. Always busy which is good. Authentic food, fresh tasting. Crazy tasty. Will come back again and again
S. M.
Excellent city center bar, with great food offering. Really good drinks selection and delicious Korean food
T. B.
The sushi sucks but they have some other really good meal, Bulgogi, bipinpap, japchai, definitely recommend trying this place for a not very cheap but not to expressive munch
M. O. S.
Very cosy, just counter seating and a few tables. The staff are very friendly and the food is great! Lovely kimchi.
J. K.
Staff was nice and helpful, but not "too nice". Very reasonable waiting time for busy Saturday 7-8pm. Normal prices, good food and beer. Satisfaction.
R.
Amazing food, friendly service and truly authentic. We will definitely be coming again!
G. R.
Fantastic food! Cozy relaxed and homey setting, focus is on the very tasty food and nice service.
A. H.
Great value, quality and price. The dessert menu is not as amazing as the rest of the dishes they have on the menu but they are good
S.
Very tasty korean food.
H. A.
This is the only one I used to consider my local restaurant for years (not anymore cos I moved to another town) coming back almost every week. I guess this explains everything. Top.
I. T.
Best authentic cuisine in Dublin, very warm atmosphere especially with pub/restaurant setting, have been coming here for years, staff are always polite and helpful 😊
s. (.
Don't have much experience with Korean food but this place is tasty, staff are lovely and portions are decent
R. R.
The sushi was incredible, I was very impressed with both the quality and flavor. It was a bit pricey, but I have no regrets.
S. L.
Great quality food and drink. Great service and help from Waiting Staff
B. S.
Very nice food and an interesting location as the restaurant is joined to the bar. Very tasty and at 10am affordable price definitely worth a trip
r. c.
Great service. Very friendly.
T. L.
A good pub with great Korean food. Maybe a little more expensive than I expected but the service was fast and efficient.
E. V.
The best Korean in Dublin!
R. P.
Great food, even better price + linked to the bar next door, so you can get good beers as well.
E. W.
Very interesting good,I had a hot stone bowl, great fresh flavours..would definitely recommend it
J. R.
Delicious food, quick service and with the bar next door, has also nice selection of drinks including korean beers :)
B. T.
Yumm! Get the Korean honey tea it's divine! Our table ordered several items and all mopped up!
M. C.
The food was good, a little pricey, and just a heads up that you have to get your drinks at the bar.
A. R.
Food was delicious and the service was excellent! Had a very good night! Will definitely be back soon!
E. A. B.
All good in general, I've only tried Japanese dishes, even if the sushi is in a too small portion though.
J. T.
Delicious spicy Korean chicken with kimchi and good beer selection - well worth a trip if you're in Dublin!
C. V.
Great food! Esp. Crazy roll. You'll really go crazy and order another one. Best when shared! ^_^
M. L. D. (.
Incredibly delicious korean everyday food, in a charming atmosphere, attached to a pub, what more could you want? I recommend the spicy kimchi soup!
P. N.
One of my favorite restaurants in Dublin. The Bi Bim Bap is delicious and the prizes are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
A. P. I.
Amazing food! The Rainbow sushi was amazing. I love this place in Dublin :) affordable prices.
J. Ż.
Lovely salads, sushi told and Korean dishes. On the expensive side as it's located in touristy spot.
S. B.
If you are looking for Authentic Korean restaurant m, this is the place.
(it's not Chinese's korean restaurant, it is Korean's Korean restaurant). The only Korean restaurant I will go when I craving for Korean food.
C. H.
Very good authentic Korean food. Try the octopus! The plum wine was delicious too.
O. K.
always great food lovely staff cosy atmosphere
D. F.
Packed for a reason- the food is excellent. The employees were attentive even though they were very busy.
T. J.
Food is nice, but you have to be really patient. Staff is slow and I had one bad experience when they completely forgot about my order.

If you have a craving for Korean this is a great place to go. While the kimchi was a bit weak I'm sure that's too most people's liking.

The food is good, but the service is usually rushed, and the prices seem to have creeped out of the affordable niche Hophouse used to fill.

Decent food but some of the menu items are a bit pricey for what you get. Lovely staff.

Perfect!
