The vibes and the food were immaculate. Large (VERY large) portions, tasty food and good energy make this place remarkable and not to be missed whilst in Dublin. Only negative cammeo was that the staff was a bit insisting sometimes, which I personally found a bit too much. Other than that, tens across the table.

I visited Krewe for a Sunday brunch and got the Nola Beneditct with bacon fries. It was super yummy and loved the combination of fried chicken, waffles, and poached eggs. Definitely recommend for brunch. Also try the cookie skillet but be warned thr portion is quite big!

Food here is absolutely incredible. The cookie skillet dessert is an absolute must-try. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, really great service. Decor was stunning and the restaurant was really clean and had all protocols carried out too so felt very safe. Would 1000% come back and recommend to a friend.

After spending a long day in town I was delighted that I got a table in Krewe. I have to admit I was drawn to this place by the pictures on Instagram and Google maps. I was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were so welcoming. We went in at 5.30 on a Tuesday evening so it wasn't too hectic. I knew exactly what I wanted to get (like I said, I'd neen stalkng the pictures of the food online) but still chatted with the waitress & quized her on her favourites on the menu. Then it came to the drinks. They have the normal pints but sure if you're going to try new food, you might as well try a new drink. I started with a Hurricane and then something that tasted like a Solero on a glass- hats off to the mixologist. The food was beyond what I could have expected and sooo delicious. We were told that the owners wanted the food to be authentic so brought the chefs to New Orleans to get the proper insights into the cuisine and you can tell. If somethings not spicy enough just let them know & they'll make sure to put more heat in the sauce for you. I'll take their word for it. What more can I say only that I hope you have as good a time as I had. Have fun. Enjoy!

So amazingly delicious, we went for multiple sides, as opposed to a main. Cocktails and a bottle of wine set us in nicely for the mac n cheese, debris fries, corn dog. I cannot stress enough how fresh the crabcakes were. We were shocked by the bill as we expected to pay more.. 10/10 would recommend

I haven't had such amazing food in forever!!! If you are interested in Cajun style cooking and vibes then this is the place to go. The brunch menu was brilliant. I adored my cocktail and wanted many more. My husband and I were stunned into silent happy sighing eating; we adored every minute and are going back in a few weeks to spoil a friend. Definitely a 10/10 for us!!!

I’ve heard mixed reviews of this place but still expected to have a half decent meal here. I ordered the the krewe fries which were Spicy chorizo jam, garlic aioli, parmesan, chives on top of fries. The fries are decent but the the toppings were just a bit weak. The spicy chorizo jam isn’t a jam at all. It’s more of a spicy tomato based sauce with the flavour of chorizo coming through but not what it says on the tin, which was disappointing. The garlic aioli wasn’t strong enough so overall I wasn’t a fan. I also ordered the Mac and cheese and it really was below par. The cheese sauce was bland and the pasta was so overdone and way too soft. Very unpleasant to eat so could only have a few bites. Finally, I ordered the dirty burger which was a beef burger with beef brisket with grilled sweet peppers and onions. It was okay. Everything was seasoned well. The beef burger was a bit over done to be honest, but it was okay. It just lacked big flavour across the board on all the dishes I ordered, which isn’t representative of true New Orleans style food which is punchy and packed with deep flavours. The good things about this place and the reason I’m giving it 3 stars and not 2 is because I love the decor and overall vibes. The staff are great as well and accommodate you in every way they can which is nice. Overall, bad experience regarding the food and I probably won’t be back.

Nice restaurant, definitely for people who are absolutely starving because the portions are freaking enormous, wasn’t a good thing though we left a lot of food behind and felt so bad about it. Something they should probably consider to avoid waste. The “side” of fries alone could feed 5 people 😂 the Mac and cheese was very bland and lacked any flavor it was very runny and pasta was over cooked. So that was a little disappointing. Overall would still go back the music was 10/10 and very stylish place

Outstanding food. Loved the experience. I really REALLY wanted to visit this place since summer. Glad I was given a chance to! Table for 2 was booked and we were seated as we walked in. We ordered the Jambalaya, BBQ Shrimp Po Boy, and Cheesy Fries. We were completely smitten with the food and flavour. The vibe was very “coupley” and romantic. We also got the Hurricane!! as a mocktail and Mississippi Mudpie for dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Would visit again!!

I really enjoyed the meal at Krewe. The food is DELICIOUS, the cocktails are pricey, but worth every penny and the staff are one of the best in the city - really good fun and efficient. The food was good, not amazing. Our order was forgotten about for 50 minute's, when food did arrive, half of my meal was forgotten. Advised by the wait staff that the kitchen was just 'busy but then told by the manager that they forgot the burger'. Took another 15 minute's to get the rest of my meal. Someone in our party found a massive long black hair in the chips too 🤮 mistakes happen but for a first impression, it was not good. The manager was lovely and was extremely helpful, so kudos to her! She brought it back for us as this would have been a 1* review.

First off what can I say, this was such a great experience. The food was so tasty and really blow my mind. The layout and everything just so good The service was great, the staff where very pleasant and couldn't help us enough. I though the price was really good for the amount that we got. Ummm it could have been better. The service, starters and desserts were very good, the cocktails too the main courses were very spicy in general, I could not even finish the burguer. But the music was so, so loud that it ruined the Xmas dinner when what you want is catch-up with your mates. I would love to give it another try but with the music at half volume.

Dammnn the food was sooo goooodd would definitely go again.. though I will say waiting time is a little long but the atmosphere and the staff make up for it. They are so kind and are always looking out for you even if you've got dietary requirements. The food is 10/10 you HAVE to go!!! pecan pie to die for and same with the hot chicken burger.. though if you cant handle spicy don't go for it you can feel the spice it was amazing.. Maybe go when it's not peak time if possible so you can get your food in good time. They have space for big groups as its upstairs and downstairs. And kid friendly too. The drinks were amazing amazing and you can also ask for drinks you'd like to have as well 😉

Nice place, great location, but.. The menu is based on “snack type of food” and to be honest didn’t meet our expectations.. it is the perfect spot for a date, drinks are really good but just for a shy-tiny bite. Well, Even to chat with friends while sharing some fries is fine, but i’d not recommended to have dinner. The staff was careless, we had to ask 4 times for the bill and no one came to charge us. We seriously paid because we’re honest people, cuz on our way to the counter they were greeting us as it was all set🤦🏼‍♀️ The restrooms were a mess!! But the rest of the restaurant was really nice.

Absolutely unreal spot in the City Centre. NOLA inspired (which is what drew me to it) and the food was insanely good. The portions are big, and very tasty. I was so impressed. The music is loud but bearable because the DJ makes awesome choices! (especially if you love Jazz) - I was dancing in my seat. The staff are great, so friendly and helpful. They're adhering to social distancing rules perfectly - we even had a temperature check when we arrived. Everything is spotless. My only, tiny issue is that I couldn't get to the bathrooms as they're upstairs and I have issues with mobility. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Krewe is an exciting place to eat. Portions are huge and easily for sharing. We had a large party and they catered for us amazingly and also was great value and fantastic service and great vibes. We probably ordered TOO MUCH. . . plenty to eat and definitely will be back soon with friends. They have Live band and djs - It was an amazing experience. Get yourself in there soon. Order the Jambalaya and share it with 3/4 people it easily fed so many!!!

Funky New Orleans cafe, great atmosphere. Lovely staff who clearly enjoy working there..always makes a big difference. Food was great and portions were huge, but waitress alerted us to this when we were thinking of ordering side of their famous fries. We will have to go back to try them.

Nice atmosphere and great service, but the food was kind of disappointing- my partner got the jambalaya which despite it's extra spicy warning turned out to be quite bland, I got a burger which was very small and served on a huge plate as if to highlight the fact that you get no fries salad or garnish of any kind with this teeny tiny burger.

After visiting New Orleans a couple of years ago, we have been looking to try this restaurant and it certainly didn't disappoint. We had the Krewe Grill sharing platter and it was absolutely fantastic. The steak had such a good flavour, I didn't even add the pepper sauce to it. The hot fired chicken was exactly that, HOT! But that's what a hot sauce is in New Orleans! My other favourite on the platter was the Louisiana Crab cakes, light and delicious. For dessert I had the pecan pie and it was excellent but I have to give a special mention to the Beignet bowl my girlfriend had, they were Light & fluffy and certainly the best I've tried outside New Orleans, pure heaven. Good effort on the hurricane cocktail as well, really well made. Staff were very good and attentive as well. Whilst the restaurant is quite dark inside, the décor is pretty cool. Overall a fantastic find and I will definitely be back to try some more dishes. Thanks for the experience.

Let's get this out of the way , The staff working at krewe are the best , they were very nice an accommodating . Simply perfect. Unfortunately the food I tried didn't stand up to the same standards The lamb belly po boy was just laced with unreserved fat The fried Chicken was ok but wasn't the best. The the fries were just soggy it took away from how nice the pulled beef it was topped with tasted. Overall an ok place but I woudlnt go back

Staff are absolutely brilliant here and the ambiance is great. We got the vegan cauliflower wings to start which were really good but our mains, the "dirty vegan rice" was really awful. It was identical to a bag of frozen lidl chilli rice. Nothing dirty or sticky about it, just bog standard rice and veg with a tomatoey base. Very disappointed.

Restaurant was buzzing at lunch time, on a Sunday at 1:30 and lots of groups continued to pour in while we were there for 2 hours. Even felt like a full Mardi Gras band was playing in the toilets 🤣. Near zero mobile Internet coverage in the booth ( only realised when we each missed a couple of calls & messages 😊 ) Massive portions. You won't leave hungry !! Had the Jambalaya and Chicken Tenders ( don't forget to order Dirty Fries and Sides to go with the Mains ). Beignet Bowl, Mississippi Mud Pie and Pecan Pie to finish off...and left feeling pretty stuffed 😊 Really glad we found this place. We will definitely be back !!

However, as someone who has been to New Orleans I was so excited at the prospect of getting my hands on some Beignets as I had the real deal in Cafe Du Monde a few years ago. I was so disappointed to get my beignets and they were full of dough not hollow and crispy like the real ones 😭 they should be more appropriately called square donuts instead of Beignets. Service was slow though this may be down to a number of reasons so it wasn't too much of a big deal. Had to ask twice for the bill at the end luckily we weren't in a hurry

A group of us went here for dinner yesterday. The food was incredible and the host was so friendly and personable. we shared starters, mains and were given lovely dessert for Birthday celebrations. spice bags dirty fries were A1, hot fire chicken melt in your mouth. Also sampled the special of the night - a deep south curry style dish of cray fish and prawns. Would recommend trying to cocktails also... delicious!

Deadly little spot, whopper music, great food, and really really friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for more for a birthday celebration. Went here with a group of friends tonight. The food was very tasty. However, either it was extremely busy or something happened in the kitchen that between our starter and main was almost 2 hours. Yes 2 hours. The waitress was amazing, she offered drinks on the house and free sides for when the food eventually arrived. The wait was beyond disgraceful but 0 stars won't help anyone that's why I want to give it 5 as the food was good and I enjoyed the vibe of the place so it doesn't deserve to go down in ratings just a learning curve for them in future.

The atmosphere and service was excellent. I had the Buffalo cauliflower wings to start and they were amazing, really tasty. The only fault I can find was my main was disappointing. They only offer 1 vegetarian main, cold hummus with pitta bread/flat bread, it's bland and not up to the standard of their other meals. The side of polenta fries I ordered were gorgeous, really delicious but I thought they could have put more effort into the vegetarian option. I would 100% recommend for a meal if not vegetarian, the other diners were very happy with their food, but I would tell vegetarians to reconsider coming here.

Food and staff were nice but I just felt the ambience was a bit off. The music was too loud and it didn't fit the theme of the place. There was a big neon signage there that said 'Jazz' so I expected a more chill vibe. It's not really a place you can expect to have conversations with. I don't know if it was because I went here on a Friday night where everyone is out but maybe I'll come back during lunch times.

Place looks great and service is good but it fell short big time with the fried chicken. I would expect a place that aims to serve Southern food - like fried chicken and waffles - to serve crispy fried chicken. The crust was wet-ish and mushy. So much so, that the part that was facing down got stuck on the plate. Chicken was juicy and tender, can't complain about that. But it was a massive disappointment that the buttermilk fried chicken was not crispy. I would go back for the drinks, maybe. And the music. But I think it's kinda sad that I wouldn't order their chicken again. Unless promised it would be then crispy.

Went to Krewe last night for dinner. The place was heaving with people and unfortunately our order got lost in the kitchen. The staff were incredibly nice and gave us our food on the house as we had to wait a little longer. The cocktails and buttermilk chicken burgers were so delicious. Really happy to see a new and unique style of eatery open in Dublin. This must be Ireland’s first Creole style restaurant? Really unique and interesting menu. Had the soft shell crab with corn bisque which was delicious 9/10. Then had the Jambalaya for main which was ok. Unfortunately I only received one prawn in the dish which was disappointing, overall the dish was 7/10 as I felt it wasn’t as rich in flavour as the authentic dish. I will most certainly be back to try the brunch menu which looks fantastic. Can’t comment on the cocktails....yet

Went in for brunch Jambalaya which should be the signature dish (no gumbo on the menu) was flat... no creole spicy kick and the tomato was probablly raw, dunno because I never cooked it myself, but compared to what you’d find in the US, something was definitely missing! Also, the rice Vs. shrimps/meats proportion is not fair for the price... (a lot of rice, maybe 3 shrimps) Beignets were great on the other hand. Just got them delivered. Savage chips and chicken, spice bag was very tidy. The hidden gem here is their beignets on the dessert menu. I'd normally be a savoury kind of fellah, but these odd little packages of dough dipped in a sublime chocolate sauce are absolutely top drawer, delightful way to cap off a fine feed.

Went for dinner with 2 friends this evening, all agreed the food was nice but the service was shocking. Waitress forgot part of our order, when we asked for the bill at 8:04 it was never brought again at 8:25 we asked another waitress again they failed to bring it and finally had to ask a third member of staff at 8:38. Again the same situation happened when we tried to get a card machine for payment in total we waited 50 minutes for bill and payment, such a dossapointment after such nice food.

Krewe has a lot going for it. Lovely remodeled dining area, it doesn't remind you of New Orleans beyond the Fleur-de-lis on the wall, but it is otherwise well finished. The house made hot sauce is pretty good and the portions are great. However, the food still needs some work, particularly the fried foods, they haven't figured out how to serve non-soggy fried things, but when they do, it will be a great spot for sandwiches.

Food was lovely, and wait staff was friendly and attentive but the greeter was a bit rude, ignoring me for a while before asking what I needed then turned his back to me and made no move to show me to a seat, despite the restaurant being half full. Perhaps they had a bunch of reservations about to arrive but I was there for 2 hrs approx and it only got emptier. Slightly expensive for essentially a burger and fries, but the food was delicious, and the cocktail too.

Its really fun and luvely feeling in the place it ticks all the boxes so well worth u booking there.

The drinks and pecan pie were delicious, and we'd definitely get those again. For food we got the chicken burger, mozzarella sticks, chicken goujons and debris fries. The chicken burger was like a chicken breast that was pounded too flat, was soggy, and fell apart soon after it was served. The mozzarella sticks started out good, but after a minute all of the cheese sank to the bottom half, eventually leaking out of the breaded bit entirely. They probably should've been served flat instead of standing up. The chicken goujons were tasty, fairly similar to some types of southern fried chicken. The debris fries were way too salty, and the portion size (along with the amount of brisket on top) versus the price was a mismatch. Pitt Bros' brisket was much more authentic. We wouldn't get any of the food above again in the foreseeable future, unless we heard it had gotten better.

I ate here with my wife,son and daughter last week and from the first second we were warmly greeted by 3 different staff despite them being visibly very busy,we were 20 minutes early but seated within 5 minutes. Next the food!....where do I start? Starters of soft shell crab and siracha wings both DELISH...Next we tried both burgers,beef and buttermilk chicken and still cannot decide which was nicer P.S you MUST get debris fries or polenta fries to accompany your burger,Gorgeous! Now the best part of this place and the reason why it will soar in the Dublin food scene THE STAFF, all effortlessly cool,nothing was a problem,the timing of serving was impeccable and never a sign of upselling or tip hunting (which can't be said for everywhere) they made us feel so welcome and to top it all off when we asked for the bill not having room to order dessert the incredible host (who's name I never got) arrived with complimentary "kinda churro bites" I guess with caramel and chocolate dipping sauce....Oh my God,if angels could bake this is what they'd make!! Krewe.....myself, my wife and my son who have travelled the world couldn't remember the last time that we couldn't fault one thing about a restaurant experience, you are now the last time we can remember that! I would say that Krewe will become one of THE places to be in Dublin but....It already is!

The crayfish roll was refreshing and light, contrasted with the richness of the brioche (those crisps also pack a bit of an umami wallop). The fried chicken burger was a good contender (chick-contender?), but just fell slightly short of overthrowing the king that is still Mad Egg. The homemade pickles were a great touch, though I'd have preferred more sourness! The fries were a simple crowd pleaser; it was the first time I properly tasted spring onions with parm and chips - why don't places serve spring onions more often with chips, as it's delicious?! Finally the begnets were small but actually just perfectly decadent, as they were crunchy but light and airy. Game changer if you take a small bite, then pour and fill up the beignet with sauce... Another massive delight was the hot sauce they have on every table - slightly fruity, spicy and intensely piquant. I want several bottles. 🤤 Defo wanna come here for the po boy lunches!
