It seemed adapted to suit the general Irish palate(bolognese, lasagne, carbonara etc.). Very kid friendly too with a children's menu and dishes suitable for kids. Would recommend for a simple lunch after a walk along the beach or in St. Anne's Park etc. We'll be back I'm sure.
E.Good pizza but the delivery guy needs to not be sticking his nose in the pizza box “to check if it’s the right one”. You’re better off collecting. Restaurant is very nice inside and the outdoor section is cool too. Good pasta and a friendly atmosphere overall.
C. M.Have ordered takeaway a few times and was always delicious. I had the opportunity to dine in last Saturday night for the first time and it didnt disappoint. The seafood linguini is packed full of fish and shellfish and the pizza was so fresh. 5 stars! Food was really good and the waitress was really friendly and attentive. They had a few problems with the pizza maker and card machine but they were so apologetic and really gave a great all round experience. Will definitely go again. Great little local spot
S. K.Waiting an hour and 45 mins for one pizza? Tried to call about 6 times to try and cancel my order but phones are off. Not good enough, I would have preferred a refund.
Usually things are great and very quick from here, I live a 5 min walk away and still nearly waiting 2 hours for delivery..
O. F.A great little place with an authentic Italian menu. The food was amazing, the service - quick and friendly. Don't be confused by the pizza takeaway service - it's a proper sit-down restaurant with cosy atmosphere and view of the sea. Great to have something this good in the area. Definitely coming back, and not once!

K. T.Best stop over restaurant for a walk to Howth. I walked 41 kilometres (From Dalkey - Howth) on the day and this restaurant was the best choice for a nice Formaggi Pizza, staff are really polite and the prices are very reasonable.
I wanted to avoid all the busy places and greasy junk food sellers in Howth so I got the recommendation to try this place for a change from a friend and I was really impressed. They also have a outdoor area at the back of premises, quite a nice spot on a sunny day.

C. C.Good albeit not very big menu, food tasty & specials usually "interestingly different". Staff nice. You can bring your own wine and pay corkage. Need reservation at popular times though. Best to ask for table other than in front of door during winter..or else keep your coat on😊

E. D.La Gustosa is a lovely, friendly, informal restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were efficient and attentive. Our order was taken promptly and the food arrived quickly (even though it was full to capacity). The only downside is parking (which is basically none, unless you're lucky enough to get one of the 3 or 4 spaces outside) but most people who go there are locals and so they just walk. I would recommend this restaurant and we will go back again.
C. E.Wow! What a find and how delightful the staff were to us. Very friendly and small lovely space to have a great meal with a nice view. This was our first visit. My wife and 3 children enjoyed the woodfired pizzas. Very delicious you won't be disappointed. Great kids menu. I could have eaten another one it was so tasty. The chocolate mousse was very good too. BYOB corkage is 8 euro. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other menu items.

a. m.All four of us really enjoyed our food, which was quality fresh ingredients seemingly thrown together in the best Italian way and well-presented. After antipasti and mains we were too full to sample dessert so we'll have to go back for that on another day. So strange to have lived within walking distance of this for four years before we visited, though we have had their pizza delivered before now, and that was excellent too.
D. G.Great little spot, but I would of never went in only for driving past one evening on the way to somewhere else. We had pizza for dinner. Staff was really friendly and the food was really nice. Reasonably priced and if you manage to get a seat by the window you could stay a while just looking out onto Clontarf. We enjoyed the food so much that the breakfast/brunch menu seemed too good to pass up, so the next morning we returned and again the same staff were working and still really friendly and pleasant. The brunch was really nice and the coffee was good too. I will say the brunch was a little small for me. I thought another poached egg and more toast would of been better for the money but that's just my appetite. I will 100% go back. Very relaxing, enjoyable place to eat.

B. L.I went to La Gustosa today for the first time. It is a cosy neighbourhood restaurant with a fantastic view onto Dollymount beach. The food was really great, and thy had no issues accommodating dietary requests. All in all a fantastic experience. We will be back.

D. M.Great italian food by a great italian chef. You can enjoy the pizza (normal or "crispy" if you like it a little more bubbly and burnt) or a great selection of pastas. Very authentic flavours of Italy, really nice attentive staff, and the best part is that its a byob!. So you can eat really well here but you control the drinks list so no limit to your choice!. Brilliant!.

Ask for profiteroles as dessert between 3 of us. 2 arrived on a plate with a few blobs of cream (€6.90). Resturant was freezing near end of meal. Said it to one of the staff he said it was because staff were outside smoking after their shift. Think it was just a way to get us to leave. It worked.
