Private dinner + karaoke was a successful, I am so grateful how the Staffs manager so well give a best experience and service. Rafael was amazing, he make sure everything was amazing for the gender review. Thank you so much for the incredible service and the dinner. I super recommend 10/10 ^-^ ありがとうごいざました

Absolute joke! I ordered from here before and got vegan ramen which was decent. Now after ordering it again, I got fish cakes in it!!! Since when is fish vegan?! The broth also smells and tastes like meat, definitely not vegan. The last time I had a different broth. So disappointing, wasted my money and lunch hour for something I can't eat. Thanks!!!
UPDATE: after calling, I got a new order, sincere apology and little present. The yasai ramen is great so definitely recommend. Great staff.
V. F.
Very delicious food! Extremely friendly staff.
The food arrived very quick and the price is really good for the portions you get.
vegan and vegetarian options available too.

Lovely Japanese restaurant in Dublin! The food is extremely high quality and def my favorite place for japanese food in Dublin!
The decoration is also lovely, all rooms have a “theme”.
The staff is amazing as well, everyone very attentive and friendly!

Food was amazing, so fresh and tasty and such a good selection of vegan dishes and vegan sushi. Very good service too.

I've eaten here twice, and sadly both times were quite disappointing. It has great atmosphere and vibe, yet the food fell below par. First time, my friend ordered the teriyaki steak that was has plain taste. Ordered sushi roll on the second time, but it wasn't too great neither considering we're paying nearly €20 for a plate.
A. S.
Tasty and fresh sushi, cozy atmosphere, good service. Food not cheap and it is not plentiful. 22 piece sushi platter won't do 2 people, had to order another set of sushi plus 2 starters to fill up our bellies. The serving of ginger and wasabi was absolutely tiny. It's done on purpose, as it is very likely you will be asking for more which will come at 1.50 each..

This is my first time in a Japanese restaurant, so I don’t have a benchmark to compare against. However, the first experience was a good experience.
Being a vegan it was surprising to know that there are so many vegan options including sushi. Delight! Tried all that was recommended and it was yum. My partner tried the seafood option and it was yum too. All in all a nice culinary experience.
4 stars since the seating outside was a bit scary, close to the bus stop, we were in constant fear of a rouge driver or the chair tipping off the pathway. But there are better tables, pity we couldn’t get one.
V. L.
The 🍣 tasted delicious, my only concern was the size of the rolls... They were huge! The ebi tempura were cooked to perfection.
I was interested in the restaurant as it was my first time there however our waiter couldn't give me any details about it when I asked her, which was a shame.
I will definitely be back.

Came here with a friend for her birthday lunch and we had an amazing time.
The food was absolutely divine and the staff were so welcoming, caring and catered to our every need.
Located in a lovely area in Dublin, busy atmosphere but nice to be around.
Would definitely recommend and would come back again.
A. W.
Great spot! Much bigger than it looks from the outside. Food was great, my friend and I shared the sushi-sashimi boat, has to be seen to be believed! Was delicious. A bit pricey but 100% worth it
S. J. B.
We celebrated my friend’s birthday here in private dining. The place was fab and each serving of food was a lot. I thought the prices were reasonable.
Karaoke was itself really really great. You get a whole booth to yourself. I’d suggest going anytime before 6pm with a big group as it’s €25 per hour until 6, then it’s €80 per hour after. You can also order drinks etc from the booth as well which was 👌
Great new experience and overall fun vibe.
A. A. C.
the food is very good and price is reasonable. one of the best japanese restaurants in town!
R. G. M.
Very good sushi in Dublin. Nice decoration and friendly stuff. Great variety of dishes and beverages: rices, noodles, sushi, ramen, etc. We had the rainbow norimaki and it was a great choice. We would have liked more options for the desserts as they have just ice-creams. In general, good sushi restaurant in the city centre.
L. O. S.
Food was absolutely beautiful!!! Myself and my friend went, both vegan.
They served us tasty vegan sushi and vegan dumplings, vegan noodles and soup. The food was so fresh and the staff were very kind. I will definitely be returning! :)

Nothing a but a great time! We went for karaoke and and then had dinner afterwards. They charge for the hour for the karaoke and the rooms were super clean and really fun with all the laser lights! It really set the vibe. All songs were pretty much available since you can search some through YouTube.
As for the restaurant part, amazing service and lovely decorated rooms. The staff especially was super nice and accommodating. They even split our bills and gave us our own individual receipts without having to ask.
Lastly for the food, I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and the seafood tempura. It was very delicious. Though I do prefer the eggs to Not be overcooked as it was dry and very crumbly. However, the Pork super tender.Other than that, the overall experience was Amazing. I would highly recommend and would definitely go again! 😁

Was here for a hen's last night. We were given our own room for the dinner and then had a large karaoke room booked for two hours after. The food was average. A fellow guest ordered beef teppanyaki which came out well done and dry. They had mixed up the order and given her dish, which should have had sauce, to another guest so she had to ask for her sauce on the side. Food, particularly appetisers, were sent out somewhat haphazardly (to be fair, a couple of us arrived a little late though they were not difficult appetisers so I'm surprised this became an issue). Hence there were delays unsurprisingly because we all finished at different times. I understand on a Saturday night table turnarounds are important. However, the way we were rushed out was quite spectacular. We barely put the cutlery down from our mains and the dessert was in front of us. Barely finished that, and the bill was dropped then we were informed please just one person pay because we don't have time and you need to leave. So we did. The karaoke room was probably the best in town it has to be said. Good selection of songs, good sound system. Very thin floors and walls though. We could hear a group upstairs clearly during our dinner and saw the ceiling shake when they started stomping!! Overall, it was a good night because we were in a group, and had fun chatting and singing. The service was sincere even if aspects of it was jarring. I would certainly recommend Maneki for the karaoke though as it is super fun in groups.

Lovely ambience, food excellent and huge choice. Our waiter was very helpful. We will be back.🤗
Maneki yaki soba..main course.

The restaurant can be very busy and adherence to your scheduled slot is of utmost importance. That being said, the staff receiving you downstairs can be a bit frank.
Food and drink experience is cool, trendy; presentation is good.
J. C.
Lovely calm atmosphere. The Japanese-esque art on the walls is amusing. The staff are helpful with recommendations. The food was very nice. I recommend the vegetable dumplings, their lemony sake. I was also weak and had to go for their sticky toffee pudding, which was worth the calories.
T. C.
Great food and service. It was our second time at Maneki and it won't be our last. The interior of the restaurant is basic but if you like sushi it won't matter, you'll love Maneki. The staff were very polite and attentive. We had the kimshi ramen noodles, small sushi platter, dragon roll and fried rice and it was plenty for two people.
L. S.
I must say it was my 1st time to have Japanese meal and it was delicious staff were just so helpful and efficient. It is spotless lovely atmosphere. Will be back again. Highly recommend it.
l. k.
The decor feels like you're in somebody's house until you walk into the dining room section. The service is very friendly and attentive. We booked last minute through open table. The food was absolutely delicious and I would happily return.
M. B.
Great place for karaoke - staff were lovely and very helpful with navigating the monitor for songs and orders. Would definitely go back!
C.
Excellent service. The staff were incredibly polite and funny and the karaoke room was icredible. Had a great night with my homies and would recommend. I'd 100% swing by again
D. O.
Really great food and lovely cocktails.
Our server was amazing and only dropping a star because their system doesnt allow people paying with card to tip. Nowadays nobody pays cash anymore so they must lose a fortune.
L. T.
Maneki has the best Tori Kaarage that I have ever tried. I have ordered them at least 10 times by now.
Y. C.
Good food. Friendly/Efficient staff. Outdoor dining ok. Don’t have the Aloe Vera drink. Caused all sorts of stomach upset for 2 days.
L. G.
Good place to grab some food. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and good drinks. Jake was really helpful and nice. Definitely would come back
N. M.
Really lovely calm spot tucked away on Dawson street with incredible food and staff. They were so accommodating with the outdoor dining, we had a great meal. Perfect for a date night!
S. L.
Good place and service. We got some sushi, gyoza and wok fried rice. Although a bit pricey, I'd recommend it overall!
E. K.
Karaoke and sushi need I say more? Rooms are funky fresh and staff are first class!! Well done!
J. M.
The food was excellent , the only downside was the delay between servings was a pain. They were busy but still a bit more organisation would not go a miss.
A. R.
Delicious food and lovely service! Their ebi tempura sushi was ultra fresh and absolutely divine <3 Will definitely come back for Karaoke, too, when indoor dining opens up!
J. G.
Quite good sashimi, kaarage was just okay
J. H.
Tara was qn excellent waitress.shw was so attentive and so much fun ! Will defimately be returning. Such a great night! 🌙
K. H.
Karaoke and food were both No1!!! Amazing
M. K.
A wonderful experience! We went for karaoke before dinner, the karaoke room was very clean and cozy, the selection of songs was great as you were also able to use youtube. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely and great portions for what you pay! Will definitely be going again!
K. P.
Had a lovely time. Food was amazing and staff were even better!
A. C.
Very welcoming and friendly place. We , a party of 6 ,shared platters of familiar Japanese specialities of delicious sushi type starters of which the tuna was particularly good. I had a bowl of fish and vegetables fried in a light and crispy tempura batter for mains. It was excellent , so good , I was tempted to order another. Facilities are fine and staff are efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend it. All of our group were full of praise for the food. We had a reasonably priced and drinkable Spanish temperanillo to was it down.
M. L.
When we first arrived and asked if we could spilt the bill we were told it ‘it would be easier for me if one person paid’, I didn't appreciate his reluctance seen as he’s providing a service, also it’s quite expensive to expect one person to pay on their card. It was €8.20 for a champagne glass of cocktails, which is a total rip. In order to get your drinks brought to your room you need to order a minimum of five otherwise you’d have to walk down 3 flights of stairs to the bar where I waited for them to make my cocktail for 10 minutes, there was no attempt made to provide any kind of waiting service. When ordering food once again we had to leave our room to order at the bar, we were told the platter consisted of sausages, wings, onion rings, mushrooms and chips, instead of chips we were giving green beans which were completely inedible. We had the room booked from 8 until 12, but our music was cut off at 11:55, I’m aware that five minutes is not a long time but that would have been one more song and I expect to be given the exact time I paid for. Overall my I enjoyed the night and but these are some issues that took away from my enjoyment, I feel that a lot of it stems from the staff not wanting to repeatedly have to walk up and down the stairs so instead expect their customers to.
J. j.
Love the seafood ramen really big portion and the bi tempura also..so happy with my food
M. Y. N.
First impression: Beautiful setting and decor. A sense of travelling to another world (all those charming plants and fairy lights) as you go down the steps to basement and then up again to the ground level...transports one to a piece of zen in middle of the busy Dawson street. Clean and luxurious feel to the toilet facilities (They use Ritual products!)
Service: Polite. Attentive. Service with a smile. What more can one ask for? 😊
Food: Had the seafood bento box. It was delicious. Good quality sushi rice cooked as it should. Even the portion of rice is part of the bento is cooked well. Salmon teriyaki cooked just right; not losing its succulence. Tempura of 2 prawns, 1 squid and 1 fish were fresh and light on frying - very enjoyable without a sense of oiliness!
Presentation: Pleasing to eye.
Cutleries: I like that reusable utensils are used and proper Japanese style chopsticks too. 😊
Value: At 12.50 euros, it is priced really well in this area of Dublin and gives you plenty of delicious portions to fill you up for lunch time! They also have a few Express lunch options at just 9.95euros...we spied neighbouring tables having them...great portion really!
Will be returning....please don't change!
D. D.
Had the ramen and it was really nice, the food came super quick and the stuff were pleasant.

Tasty food and good service, but very small amount of food for the price.
N. M.
Beautiful decor, menus and place settings. Sushi and cocktails were excellent.
E. N.
Quality food, nice drinks and service is good is good as well. Just the table arrangements and the restaurant’s design need an improvement a bit.
J. C.
Absolutely amazing food and service! Will totally be back again!
L. J.
Pros:
- outdoor seating
- fast service
- interior atmosphere is really nice
- unagi donburi pretty decent, good portion
Cons:
- tonkotsu ramen is not tonkotsu ramen, will not recommend, soup was bland, noodles overcooked
- matcha latte diluted and tasteless, more like milk with a sprinkle of matcha, artificial tasting
Overall, not coming back unless something new appears on the menu. But good place for atmosphere :)
J. H.
I ordered food to collect and they forgot an item. Tried to call them three times and no answer 😭
H. H.
Good experience and very accommodating very nice and worth the money you spend . Delicious foods and the karaoke room is magnificent. Very clean and the service is so quick. Located just in the heart of the city recommend this place to my friends
s. g.
Lovely authentic Japanese food - lunch time is extra nice value for money.
S. F.
The most lovely staff I have ever encountered. Five stars would highly highly recommend
C. D. P.
The place was cozy and quiet and the food delicious. They made a slight mistake with our order, which they offered to fix straight away. We had no time to wait for that and they were extremely kind and very helpful with everything.
Probably the best lunch experience I've had in the area.
M. R.
Great place with Japanese cuisine for Japanese food lovers and noobs, who don't not what to order. Staff is extremely supportive and explained half the menu to us. The Sake Mojito is also worth a try!
T. S.
Great service, quality sushi, meets high expectations on every aspect of what it means to go out for good sushi with fresh ingredients.
M. B.
Modern Japanese style decoration, never seen in Ireland! Stunning! The Sushi boat is wonderland. artistic conception & taste...

Great place. I will recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time with friends or family. Also think its a good place for work events, like team building. My friends and I will definitely be coming back.

Great food & service, top notch karaoke rooms for a relatively low price!
D. P.
Food is very delicious and excellent quality! We got a very good recommendation for Teryaki and Sake by Tomislav who was very professional. The best customer service by far we ever received in any restaurant. I am only sorry that he respectfully declined tips. We will be back for more!
J. N.
Fantastic food. Lovely servers
K. B.
Best ramen I've ever had! Very pleasant and attentive staff, would give more stars if I could.

Awesome restaurant. Super cosy with a pretty chill song playlist. Treating customers with great respect (much better than Yamamori to be honest.)
On top of it, the food is excellent.
A. Z.
I celebrated here my birthday and it was amazing. The karaoke is so much fun, great options, beautiful rooms, and friendly staff.
I absolutely recommend it for a fun night!!
M. C.
The place is very good but I didn't like to much the equipment to sing, even though that we had a great moment.
J. M.
Good food - inventive, fresh ingredients and large enough portions.
B. P.

A. C.
Always a delight to have lunch there. Great service and the food is always delicious 😍 reasonable price as well
R.
The food was amazing, the people were insanely friendly and interacted with us, making us feel very welcome. The menu hads lots of options, but wasn't overwhelming at all. at first, I thought that is was too small, but then our waitress took us up some stairs, revealing a beatiful, spacious area with a calming ambiance.
The meals were a little pricy, but the portions are perfect according to the price, so you get what you payed for. If I could rate this higher, I would. :)
p. b.
Best Japanese restaurant. Their home made tofu is a must try.
D. S.
Great lunch bento, good value for lunch, great service. One of the few Japanese restaurants in town to actually serve Japanese rice.
Y. B.
4-⭐ because nothing's perfect. That said, this is probably the best ramen I ate in Ireland. On top of that, the service and people are nice.
D. M.
Service was lovely and the food was delicious!

I've been to Maneki twice since it opened and it's definitely my new favourite sushi spot in Dublin. The food was great (we had the large sushi selection and mochi for dessert) and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed too, it's an all-round gem.
K. G.
My fiancee and I came here right after we got engaged and the wonderful staff at Maneki treated us to a free meal! Love this place and we will definitely be coming back when we're in Dublin!!!
J. A.
Nice employees, laid back environment and excellent food.
L. H.

B. R.
Delicious 😋😍
E. E.
It was cold when we got there at lunch time so we left our coats on. the food was decent but Zakura is much better..
L. O.
I went here for a birthday celebration. The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely stellar. I lived in Tokyo for a long time so am quite picky, and this is the best Japanese I’ve had in Dublin. The sushi was really fresh, tempura is so light and delicious, as were the noodle dishes, and the cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, so light and moussy. The staff are lovely and attentive. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone who wants a nice Japanese style experience in Dublin
M. O.
Best karaoke in Dublin, and the staff are sooooo nice. So polite and caring. They even gave us free prosecco.
S. G.
Went for a Sunday night meal and was absolutely blown away by the food and he service! Will absolutely be back!
V. F.
Amazing teppan beef teriyaki. Also first place where I saw teppan duck teriyaki. Pretty good too.
A. D.
The karaoke was so fun. Had a great song choice and was easy to use. I was glad to see they had kpop songs, they also have songs in many other languages. You can choose to have the artists singing in the background or just instrumental. Thank you Maneki for a great afternoon, will definitely be back soon
P. G.
Had the ramen. It was very good but you can get better in Dublin for a lower price.

It's probably one of the best Japanese restaurant I have tried in Dublin so far.
Salmon was super fresh (special shoutout for the salmon nigiri), food was tasty and the portions are quite big.
It's not cheap, but the quality of product is there so for me it definitely worth the price
