Well run and organised. Pleasant staff there as always. Bill of fare extensive and enjoyable. Ample parking. We were a party of 5 and spent around 3hrs there. Enjoyable afternoon to link up with friends before the Christmas. Highly recommended..

The fish and chips were excellent. Peas would have been preferable to the pea blend. Service was prompt and amicable. Temperature was good on a cold evening with covid-19 necessitated increased ventilation.

Well worth a visit for the lunch menu. Staff are chatty and make you feel welcome. Food is excellent and are quite large in portion size. Kids are very welcome here and get great options on the menu. Pints are great and the Guinness was perfect. Again worth the visit especially on s Saturday or Sunday. Dropped a star because the carpark fills up quickly and it can be hard to find parking.

After 3 years going to The Halfway House and Mulberry Restaurant with my partner it was obvious for us to choose them for our Wedding Reception the 6th October ! 3 years loving the food there, the place, the staff who always are so kind to us. So when we knew about their function room we haven't hesitated at all ! And what can I say... It was just so PERFECT!! The decoration was fabulous, the food sooo good ! The staff always so kind with us and our family and friends! All our guests loved being there ! Always a pleasure to be in The Halfway House and Mulberry!!! True professional! I highly recommend!! We will of course come back !! 😁☺

Food is fine, I've been there 5/6 times, but the place doesn't click, with me, the staff always seem to be slow, even when the place is not busy. There just doesn't seem to be a big difference in service, from the pub in the same building.

Proper old fashioned pub (and I mean that in the best way). The sunday carvery is a must and the barmen will keep you chatting all night. If you want to go out for a proper pint, this is the spot.
