Really good value for fresh sushi in Dublin. We got 3 medium rolls and 2 small rolls and safe for less than 30 euro each. Lovely staff as well.
B. B.
A really good authentic restaurant and the staff are welcoming.
Must go place if you want to enjoy sushi, ramen, sake
H. F. J.
If you're looking for ramen then this is the spot! I had the seafood ramen and my wife had the pork belly ramen. Both were delicious 😋 Very attentive staff! Glad we stopped in!
r. c.
Wonderful Japanese food at reasonable prices served by attentive and friendly staff. Simply Subarashii
O. P.
I had lunch in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of the food was excellent.
I subsequently ordered takeaway and was also impressed with the quality of the preparation and freshness of the food. The service was also excellent.

I really loved this place. The staff is really nice and their dishes are super tasty. I had Ebu Katsi (on the pic) and it was probably the best Ebu Katsi I had in Dublin so far... Definitely worth a try. Also... Their Miso Soup was really tasty, so give it a try as well.

Great place to eat, it's the first time we visited and will definitely be coming back
C. E. A.
Best sushi in town. 😊
The service is superb. ☺️
D.
Nice place to visit. The restaurant is nice and clean, staff kind and do their job well. The menu has plenty options for wide kind of ppl including vegetarians. The food is served quickly, presents very good and the flavour is rich. I can recommend the place. The prices are OK for this kind of standard. Just the portions could be a bit larger, and there could be more desserts. If you are very hungry or looking for good desserts consider different place. In all other cases that's good place. - for comfort of the seats

Update 2. we cant wait... so we are coming down again on the 3rd Jan for more please!!! 14 of us on 200mile round trip. C U at 8 pm
Update after a 2 year absence. And it still is a Sushi lovers paradise... served by the most friendly and attentive staff who remembered us from our last visit. Recommend the Galway oysters Japanese style and the sustainable blue fin tuna served everyway possible.
Fantastic food, sushi pladder is great and dumplings to die for. Will be back.
M. V.
Big sushi is really XXL sushi!! And it is delicious! I would totally recommend it. Excellent quality at the best price.
A. A.
Food was decently priced and quite fresh. The table felt abit cramped but overall a good experience.
A. M.
Quality sushi. Perhaps if the fish slices were tad bit thicker, it would be 5/5. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra I just think it needs to be better balanced with the amount of rice.
R. S.
Great sushi experience at a very reasonable price
E. H.
Had a fantastic late lunch here. Respect to trying to serve as pleasant an experience you can in such a busy street! The industry was hit hard but congrats for bouncing back and adapting!
I had the chefs selection sushi and sashimi plate and my husband had the tonkotsu ramen, we loved everything. I especially appreciated the natural brine kept in the oysters, very nice. The service was great.
My only note was the fish could have been a tad colder but maybe because being from Southern California maybe Im just not used to Dublin’s summer yet. Oh and don’t use the red napkins if you spill on your clothes because the dye will stain! A lesson for everyone haha
M. A.
The food is 12/10, best place for Japanese food in Dublin, always fresh
L. T.
I think this is my best Chinese restaurant I have eaten at.
The tea is also excellent
T. R.
Quality of food was excellent and throughly enjoyed what I had. Well worth the money spent and the staff were all so nice and attentive. Minor issue with being slightly uncomfortable while dining indoors as the seats don’t have any back support and the tables are on the smaller side. Besides that I’d more than happily go again!
P. S.
This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been in Dublin :) (not only just Japanese)
It is literally BRILLIANT restaurant.
All the Staffs are super welcoming and helpful. If you are planning to visit this lovely restaurant, you will be falling love with all staffs and food. No doubt 😊
Ramen,sushi, even dessert,coffe :)
Thanks a million Musashi, When I was staying in Dublin, you are the best restaurant for me. 🙌🏼
I hope other people also feel the same experience I’ve ever experienced.
All the best!
Your friend.

This is my favourite sushi place ever! Always so fresh and flavourful. I can never fault it. I've introduced so many people to Musashi, especially on Capel St and no one has ever had a bad experience there.
My favourites are ebi tempura masago, soft shell crab futomaki, spicy tuna rolls, all the gyoza and edamame, all so delish! All at reasonable prices too!
Go here for your sushi fix, you won't regret it!
E. P.
Great sake and great ramen. Amazing place, well worth a visit
S. B.
Super lovely attentive staff. Food was delicious (sashimi, sushi, dumplings etc). Corkage of €6 per bottle of wine good option as wine list is limited and a little expensive. Lovely atmosphere great food and reasonable prices- the lunch menu is particularly good value. Highly recommend.
H. A. (.
I ordered Musashi Soba and it was good. The meat was very fatty and I could eat it only when it was hot; After it gets cold, it's hard to not taste the fat + The staff were nice + The price is fair for the dishes but not for drinks
V. Z.
Very nice and cosy place, but we've been in better places in Dublin like Yamamori and Teppanyaki. Musashi offer a good standart, nothing top class.
A. T.
My first meal in Dublin after living in France for 5 years. Was suddenly craving Japanese food when I got off the plane and I happened to come across this tiny restaurant in Capel Street. Be warned, this restaurant is TINY but it gives a real Japanese feeling when you walk inside. It was lunch hour I think and it was super busy. Luckily I got a table within 10 minutes. The staff are super nice and made sure I was okay when I was waiting. The sushi is just WOW and the food is just amazing overall. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good value Japanese food in Dublin. Definitely deserves more recognition.
D. K.
Honestly, Musashi is a best sushi place in Dublin for a beginner and pro level sushi lover!
C. P.
Food is good, service is fast!! The grilled beef teriyaki was tasty and the crab maki roll was my favourite. We also got the sakura and sashimi selection which was decent. But the restaurant is small so there was a wait to get our table
M. S.
I can honestly say it was the best sushis I ever eat in my life, and I've tried a lot of different places!
Staff was very friendly, the place itself is really nice, and the food... just amazing.
Just look at this fish/avocado ratio in the california rolls 😍😍
Very fresh, very tasty, and very cheap prices considering the quality.
Cannot recommend enough! Pity that I'm not living nearer 😉
R. H.
Got a couple sushi platters here recently, totally fine but seemed just ok where they used to be better. Service was not great, we asked for water twice and never got it, a flat coke was brought out and we were never asked if everything was ok..
E.
Awesome japanese food for a good price
S. M.
One of the best casual Japanese sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The wines are very nice and the waiters are extremely friendly. They give good recommendations for the sake and plum wine. We had the "Sakura Sushi and Sashimi Selection" and it was really delicious and fresh. The ramen we had for our mains were awesome too! So flavourful and healthy.
S. M.
A very genuine authentic sushi restaurant. Only sushi place I've been to that offer actual chopstick cutterly rather than disposal wooden chopsticks, of course you can ask for a knife and fork if that doesn't suit your fancy. Very affordable and the dishes are astonishing.
It is a bit loud when it gets busy but that promotes a conversation.
Staff are very polite and accommodating. Never had to ask for a water refill.
I was there with my family celebrating my graduation and we had a 3 course meal. Not once were we asked to move even though it was relatively busy and we exceeded our stay of 3 hours.
The desert portions are impressive and very affordable. I like my coffee and their Cappuccino was amazing.
We brought 3 bottles of our own to the restaurant which is perfectly acceptable under their BYOB policy.
Made the occasion very enjoyable. I love the venue. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Overall highly recommend and the location is great.
V. V.
The reason why the experience here is worth it is mainly because of the staff. They treat you like you're in Business Class of a long haul flight. Certainly recommended.
O. K.
It was excellent again! We tried a few restaurants in Ireland and Musashi is the best one! Absolutely delicious food and very kind staff. Little bit busy all the time so please make a reservation, but if you couldn't make it, then they will do the best for you. For instance, we couldn't make a reservation and we waited for 25 minutes. It is worth! Especially, the miso soup I love! I recommend Salmon Sashimi, Sakura Sushi Sashimi, Salmon Avocado, Salmon Roll. You can make it perfect with a glass of Merlot! :) Enjoy!
B. F.
The service here is excellent and the staff are Friendly. Its always busy so would definitely recommend booking a table in advance. Food was very nice and there was a good selection. There is a byob option with a small corkage fee
F. O.
Probably my fave place in eat in Dublin! Never found a veggie tempura to compare!.. food, service, price, atmosphere... 10starss
R. M.
Fresh and great tasting fish, rolls are made well, service is fast and excellent!
The place is very busy for dinner, so calling ahead is a must and a short wait is still possible, so plan accordingly.
M. M.
The food was amazing and the service was very good.
G. B.
My favourite restaurant chain in Dublin. Always perfect both dine in and take out. Highly recommend.
E. R.
Great food, love coming here for lunch and being able to sit outside on the street! Nice way to wind down during the work day
P. R.
Great sushi bar in Dublin. As good, if not better than it's better known competitors. It is a small restaurant, so a reservation is definitely recommended no matter what time you intend to eat there. The staff are fab, and very helpful at talking through the menu. Can also order as take away if you cannot get a reservation.
L. E.
A bit expensive for the meal served, but the taste is good.
R. S.
Lovely taste and quality food. Acceptable prices, friendly staff, good service. Very recommended
E. J.
One of my favourite places for sushi in Dublin. Staff are always very welcoming. Sushi is fresh and tasty.
e. v.
Always a delightful experience! Lovely staff, quick service, superb food quality, perfect place when you want to get a healthy food in a short space of time 👍
P. M.
wonderful place, great vegetable tempura, a solid sushi selection done the right way without unnecessary flame. ramen full of flavour (the broth is very fragrant and blends well with all the other ingredients), much better than 'a more upscale Japanese restaurant' in town. only minor issue I had was seats which are not too comfy for tall people. Definitely on the top of my list when going for sushi/ramen.
P. K.
Some of the best sushi in town. Really accomodating staff too.
J. J. O.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin, excellent every time. This was my first time for lunch and I had the bento box for ~€9.50, and yes, it was yummy.
F. K.
The quality & portion of the food totally worth the money spent; tastes great as well! Staff are also very helpful and attentive. Totally would come back again.
B. B.
One of best places to eat Japanese food in Dublin, great staff excellent presentation not food, visited Japan and would recommend this place.
J. M.
Absolutely amazing food,value and service!!!
A busy and enjoyable experience, definitely a place worth visiting!!!🤗🤗
m. F.
Best in Ireland without a doubt. Try it I'm not wrong
D. H.
One of tge best sushi places in town , had the grilled prawn dumplings 👍, sushi was yummy very fresh that the salmon and tuna melts in your mouth 😋, prices are reasonable compared to the portions , atmosphere is cosy and simple, service was perfect , actually all in all a great experience HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
G.
Very tasty and filling ramen, and a nice selection of drinks, would definitely recommend
N. P.
Really friendly staff and good sushi! Good overall ambience and prices in line with sushi in Dublin. Available outdoor seating
J. H.
I just love the food in Musashi. I eat in both Capel street and the Blanchardstown restaurants and both are as professional as the other. The food is 10 out of 10 and the staff are amazing.
J. C.
Excellent food and service
C. D.
Amazing sushi options among other options, quite affordable but a small place with not a lot of seating so there maybe a chance that you would have to wait. Highly recommend it is worth mentioning that they have other restaurants in the city.
G. U.
Decent ramen broth, good egg and prawns, boring chicken( or pork, don't know what it was, tasted dry and boring), good single slice of pork belly, bad bamboo (preservatives too strong a taste). Definitely have had better, this was in no way outstanding, but it was enjoyable.
A. C.
Musashi is the epitome of great Japanese food. From the friendly welcome to the clean decor, you feel at home in the surroundings.
I’m a huge noodle fan and have eaten at many establishments over my life. Being slightly familiar with the Japanese subculture around ramen, I was warmly impressed with my Musashi Ramen bowl.
I opted for 3 different kinds of meat to get a sampling: chicken, pork and shrimp. All were cooked perfectly. The broth was made of chicken and pork, which was simple and delicate. The noodles were cooked to have just the right texture. The presentation was beautiful, allowing you to visually enjoy before digging in.
It seems evident that they take great pride and care with the food they serve. The ramen arrived pretty quickly after being ordered. The waitress was friendly and kept drinks topped off.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and a great value for the money. I look forward to coming back in the near future.
N. D. P.
One of the best restaurant experiences so simply great and wonderful staff.
O. S.
Decent sushi for cheap. The sashimi combo was very tasty, especially the salmon. The salmon avocado roll was also very good, but the spicy salmon was just a normal salmon roll with literally Sriracha sauce plopped on top, really odd. The service was incredibly fast, to the point where they picked up our plates and brought the check as soon as the last piece was lifted from the plate and we felt a bit rushed.
L. Z.
I've been coming here since it opened in 2012. I love how is just consistently good. Staff are always lovely and friendly, service is quick, food is always great. Sushi is always super fresh. You can order anything in their extensive menu, from sashimi to noodles. It's never disappointing and the prices are very reasonable too
J. K.
Cool little Japanese restaurant that’s popular with the locals. I had the Musashi Ramen, a huge bowl with noodles and lots of meat and veggies: it was great.
J. B.
This place is fab. Food is fresh and clean. Staff are lovely. Would definitely return
S.
I loved the sushi there and the seats were confartable to.i wish to try more but the rest of my family said no sadly. Thank you for the food.
R. K.
Every time enjoying so much! Japanese cuisine lover must visit!
P. V.
Our favorite ramen place best evere, by the way first Japanese restaurant in Dublin
T. C.
Delicious food. Good and very fast service. A good portion of food with the lunch special at a very reasonable price
R.
Amazing service and amazing food. Definitely recommend!
e.
Tasty well presented food and very nice staff. Would love to be back!
Y. M.
Delicious!! Treated myself to a musashi take away! Got edamame beans, miso soup and rice with seafood! Love the edamame beans and the seafood was cooked perfectly, could taste all the different fish! Service top notch, my food was ready to go in 10 min! If you are thinking of going to eat in Musashi, do reserve a table as the place is quite small. Enjoy!
P. A.
Amazing service, the servers were very kind. I even noticed some repeat customers and the servers chatting which shows how kind they are. The food was great I got the Tonkotsu Ramen this specific time it was very tasty, the miso was a bit strong but definetly nothing that was of putting that's just my personal preference. The service was also very quick.
J. E.
Fantastic food and wine! Great service, good prices.
R. C.
Great food. A bit pricey though. Good atmosphere. Great service.
J. P.
Had a stunning lunch with my friends .. James served us! It was delightful! Thank you and god bless x x x
M. H.
Really good food, nice environment and lovely staff.

Excellent Japanese food with very good options for vegetarians. Nice outdoor seating area and very good service
B. S.
Really good food, very friendly staff and very good value fully recommended
S. S.
really enjoyed visit here. first time to try sushi and I wasnt disappointed food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful.
M. V.
I love the place and the staff, but very upset with a delivery I got. The katsu curry is far from a Japanese katsu curry. But I’ll be back, just not for the katsu 😢
L. A. V. F.
The food was amazing and the service too. The place is cozy and nice. Everything was delicious.
T. M.
Good sushi, nice atmosphere, very pleasing staff. Will defo come back.
G. G. C.
Very good Japanese restaurant. I use to go there with my partner, friends, business.. Very nice atmosphere, and the food is properly presented and tasty.
C. K.
Had a really nice time here, the food was great and the service was great. Would definitely recommend to a friend
E. E.
Absolutely delicious! & for only 15 euro what a delicious fresh piece of seabass.. seafood rice balls, yummy sushi with Free miso Soup & free rice too!
Its the seabass bento box, Musashi at Capel St :)
M. S.
Great food and service with lovely indoor and outdoor dining, highly recommend for sushi and Japanese food
P. S.
Simply the best sushi and sashimi in Dublin, hands down. How do I know that? We’ve been to them all and this the only one where my vegetarian daughter and wife get not a trace of a taste of fish from their food ever. The kitchen must be fanatically fastidious and the fish (which I prefer) is always super fresh.
Q.
In short if you want Sushi Banyi is where to go
The nigiri is sliced to thick I tried tuna and the eel was not ver flavorful.
The spicy tuna roll was very disappointing.
C. B.
Friendly staff, quick service & delicious food. Reasonable pricing
B. C.
Excellent sushi place! Great vegetarian sushi too... Service was fast and friendly. The veggie futomaki was tasty
E. B.
Small but intimate restaurant with extremely friendly staff and fabulous sushi.
G. K.
Amazing amazing sushi here like can't get off the taste very good stuff happy and helpful
I. H.
Absolutely delicious food, fantastic service and always leave here feeling happy :)
R. L.
The seafood ramen is amazing! They are also almost always busy so make sure you get a reservation!
l. k.
Very lucky to get a seat without a booking. The food is delicious, fresh and the service is very quick. Nice for a quick bite to eat.
B. M.
Friendly staff, good food quality and very tasty
G. L. g.
Sushi are amazing, staff was really nice.
D. D.
This is the best Japanesse restaurant in Dublin and the best in the chain of Musashi. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. The sushi here is top class. Highly recommended.
J. N.
Great Japanese food (cold or hot) at reasonable prices. Cozy place and nice staff.
R. L.
My tour guide recommended this Japanese restaurant to us when we visited Ireland for a few days. The restaurant is very small, and they are super busy. Staff is super professional, helpful and friendly. The food is superb and fresh. The sushi in my opinion was the best I’ve had in Europe so far. Definitely pay this restaurant a visit again when I visit Ireland.
K. V.
Just what I needed: great food, fast service, good prices
V. S.
It is tasty and the price is ok for a place in Dublin
E. F.
Great and consistent, a little pricey but it is sushi after all
B. l.
Its my all time favourite place to eat sushi
g. b.
Lovely place, nice food and Great service
F. M.
Very small restaurant, the other one of the same chain is much bigger, where once seated you will be served shortly.
Food is good quality, with little decoration. Everything looks fresh, no particular smell or sticky fish.
As the place is small and they usually push you to leave when finished, I would recommend it notvfor group of people, but for a quick (1h) sushi meal it is great!
Friendly waiters, good service.
K. I.
Delicious food and very nice service! I will be back for sure!
S. P.
Despite the long wait for our reserved table the staff were extremely nice to us and always made sure we were okay. After we got our table the service was super fast. Staffs that were very obviously under a lot of pressure from all the customers waiting at the door were all extremely professional and able to turn a disaster into something positive. As a waitress myself I feel their pain. The food is really good. I’ve been to plenty of Japanese places and Musashi is my regular go to place for Japanese food as it’s just so good.
M. W.
I went there twice. 1st time the waitress kept coming back to our table and we had a very distinctive feeling that she wanted the table. She was not particularly friendly. Second time, same waitress, just as amicable. Because we made the opening of the restaurant, I was a little suspicious when I was served sushi at room temperature. I mean, was the fish left at room temperature overnight? I was not sick as a result of eating what I ordered but the whole 2 experiences not having been the best, I would not go back there.
B. M. h.
Lovely little restaurant, tasty and fresh food. Great atmosphere, specially today that was playing classic blues. Friendly staff and good vegetarian options. Will definitely be back.
A. Q.
I've been here a few times now and its been a nice time each occasion. Its a nice little restaurant with a modern sleek aesthetic. The menu is a little light, and the portions aren't large for the price. It is tasty, though, and worth the odd visit. You'll get a free green tea with your order too. Being one of the few places to get Sapporo beer in Dublin is a treat too!
P. M.
I haven't had a better experience in any restaurant ever. Waiting staff that went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was all beautiful. Very reasonably priced menu. Table of six total bill was just over €200 with some drinks and more than enough food.
The restaurant allows you to bring your own bottles of wine or prosecco. €6.50 corkage.
The best sushi in Dublin!
J. G.
So it is very good food but what started as a really good value sushi restaurant has become a bit of a monster. All you have to do is compare the nigiri prices on their website to what they charge in the restaurant and you can see how much they have increased their prices. It's the best of the musashi restaurants that I have been to (3, I think there is more) but I think I might go for a cheaper restaurant next time.
S. B.
Excellent food and setting on Capel Street. The food is always a cut above all the other East Asian restaurants. The staff are also really good. Keep up the good work Jay you are an excellent manager!!
L. M.
Excellent no nonsense sushi and bento joint. Honestly had some of the most attentive and friendly staff I've seen in a Dublin city centre restaurant. Fast lunch service, all fresh, delicious, quick and generous. I'll be back.
J. A. E.
Good sushi! Service a bit iffy and restaurant layout leaves something to be desired (very narrow) but the food is good! If you love Japanese, this is the spot! It does takeaway and pick up too. Have eaten here a few times and had delivery a few times too and food-wise everything is always delish!
G. D.
My first time eating Japanese food and just WOW. My wife and I decided to pop in since it's a bank holiday, the restaurant was packed and for a very good reason too! The sushi the waitress recommended was great, she went through the whole menu since we were completely newbies to Japanese food. For a casual restaurant the service was amazing, very unexpected and blown away how friendly the staff were. Will definitely see us more in the future!
K.
Not a bad spot for some quality Japanese food. The fish was fresh and my only real issue with my meal was the Musashi ramen bowl. This bowl didn't live up to the rest of the meal. Price wise it's pretty standard for this type of food
H. S.
Staff here is very friendly. The service is fast and the food super tasty! I'd recommend the Curry Tofu and the vegan sushi plate. Both are spectacular. I still think that my breaded tofu was chicken because the texture was incredible. :)
J. R.
Great food and excellent service!
V. H. N. S.
Amazing food.
M. E.
Fantastic place, food excellent, service second to none, house Ramen delish
K. B. P.
Fantastic sushi for reasonable prices, that is probably the best way to describe Musashi.
The sushi is fresh and tasty, the service is on point and the atmosphere is great for a relaxing dining experience.
This is definitely not the last time come here.
R. R.
Probably the best Japanese restaurant in town. Friendly staff and service, they seem to be very grateful for our business and genuinely care for their customers. Food is fantastic, portions are perfect. My new favourite dish on the menu lately is the seafood ramen, the tempura is quite nice too.
L. P.
Really good food and so fresh. Had tempura also the batter was so light and crispy. Sashimi and sushi selection was devine and the mains were so tasty. Only down fall is that they don't do BYOB anymore but it's still advertised online as that, so turning up with wine and having to pay an additional amount for drinks is a bit of a pain but cannot fault the food
C. L.
Favourite sushi place! Amazing staff and food! Never disappoints! Great affordable lunch deals also! 🍱🍣💕
L. M.
Consistently amazing sushi and we go regularly. The staff is fantastic. Efficient and friendly. Will check in on your enjoyment but will leave you alone then. The hot food is also delicious but I prefer Zakura if I fancy cooked seabass or a broth. Tiny comparative critique meaning 4 not 5 stars. This has zero bearing on the sushi which is 5 star. ♥ 🍥
C. C.
Very nice Japanese restaurant! Food is very fresh and the sushi was quiet nice. I would recommend the pumpkin curry which I had as part of my bento box, but this dish could be seasonal! Great to go on date to or to go to with a group but it's very small inside so best to let them know in advance if you have a big group!
s. s.
The freshest sushi I've ever had and everyone that works there is lovely! I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin. They have the most vegan options of any sushi place in Dublin
E.
A lovely Quant and cozy place in a good distance to the jameson distillery. Although continuous busy, the staff was attentive, and the food was delicious. My partner and i shared a tempura starter and a sushi platter as main together, and it was delicious! We also had the cheesecake and some darjeeling tea to finish and it was wonderful. A lovely date place with wonderful mood lighting. We are planning to come back again to try more of the menu!
D. S.
Definitely one of the best sushi bars in Dublin. Good value as well. Tried almost all sushi places in Dublin and Musashi in Capel street has indeed the freshest sushi, nicely cooked sushi rice and thick slices of fish (not thin with too much rice like many other places do). Recommended!
R. B.
My favourite sushi place, staff are always so friendly and the food is amazing also not too expensive either!
A. C.
Musashi is always a lovely experience with delicious fresh sushi and everything else and the loveliest friendliest staff. It's an intimate sized restaurant so it's never loud and bustly
A. R.
AMAZING FOOD! If you like Japanese food, this is a must visit. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. The bathrooms are always spotlessly clean. If you are coming as a group, call in advance to book a table. This place tends to be very busy.
S. B.
One of my favourite sushi places in Dublin. I've tried most of the places here now and now stuck with Musashi cause I dont think you can get better than this. Its not a very extravagant selection of sushi ( if that's what you are looking for) Its really good tasty fresh and decent ingredients. Tuna is always fresh ( my favourite) and you can see sushi is never made in advance. We often order some and just pick it up on the way home. But it is also a perfect place for lunch or dinner.
S. M.
Gorgeous food very friendly staff definitely recommend this restaurant
J. M.
One of the best Japanese place in Dublin. Highly recommend !
L. C.
One of the best sushi in town! I went here for my birthday, I loved the design of the place and the people in here host us perfectly. They helped us with the choice of the sushi and the Sake! I will totally come back!
E. C.
Going to Musashi it's always a pleasure!
The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The food is always fresh and well made, so it's delicious.
The service is fast and the ambient makes you feel comfy.
C. S.
Nice sushi place. Not all seat have a seatback, just the bench against the wall. On most menu you cant choose the fish (chef s choice). But the food is fresh and the quantities is nice.
s. w.
Cool food friendly outdoor service. Great when the weathers nice
S. M.
Great food and great service.
S. B.
My friend recommended this place to me a while back, honestly I did look through the reviews before I went. The reviews are so true! The food is gorgeous, we had the prawn tempura and ramen. Everything is so fresh and to die for! Prices are decent. The service is friendly, fast and professional. Now it’s my turn to recommend Musashi to everyone. I’m going to be a regular now 😍😍😍
D. M.
Great Sushi, very tasty, excellent service
R. T.
Great ramen, even better katsu. Great prices and beautiful restaurant
R. M.
This is such a lively and delicious restaurant! We went on a friday night, had a mix of sushi and fried rice and loved every dish we tried, the staff is really fantastic and the atmosphere nice and friendly.
W. M.
Really great variety on the menu. Staff were accommodating and friendly.
Food was excellent and ready in good time.
Seats are a little uncomfortable and crowded but it's still good.
M. J. G.
Wonderful and delicious food, good early bird deals and kind and attentive wait staff. I'd highly recommend the Japanese fried rice and sushi. So yummy!
T.
Good Japanese place. It is a bit small and narrow and it seems it is always full so I recommend making the reservation in the advance. The staff was very nice. The sushi and sashimi were very tasty and had flavour of freshness. We also tried pork and prawn gyoza and they were delicious. Juicy and crispy, full of flavour. The place also offer BYOB, but prices of wine from the menu are also reasonable. Very nice place and returning certainly to try other dishes from the menu.
N. W.
Best sushi Dublin. Expensive but worth it, nice staff too.
D. M.
Noodles are always amazing and the staff are very accommodating
A. A.
Gorgeous food, lovely staff.
Love the new recyclable take away containers. Well done Musashi.
J. G.
I’ve been to Musashi many times and I have to say, the food is perfect! Service is amazing, the staff is super friendly. They tend to get super busy around lunch hours and peak dinner hours. Highly recommend.
J. D.
Food quality average - there must be better sushi in Dublin. Udon was nice but not deserving accolades. Staff were friendly and food served rapidly. Great spot for lunch in a hurry I suppose.
J. F.
Food was amazing, but had an allergic reaction the following morning after dinner. Although allergens are listed anyone with a shellfish allergy should maybe stay clear. My food must’ve been cross contaminated with shellfish in the kitchen.
A. a. M. A. V.
Nice food & service.
Having a sushi dinner while pregnant is not a easy job however I make it i musashi.
The waiter helped me to chose wisely and I had an amazing dinner.
Sushi is great and properly prepared.
I'm looking forward to come back and have some sashimi this time:D
a. a.
Best Sushi bar in town: food is very good, prices ok, service super. the atmosphere at Capel Street restaurant is also very nice, easy going and like "at home".
Go there if you want to have a decent Sushi in Dublin!
R. O.
Amazing food every time! Love it here.
Sushi is great, and anything else we've tasted has been superb. No complaints yet!! Booking ahead advisable!
I. G.
Cosy packed restaurant, we got in during the peak hours with no reservation, they were very accommodating. The sushi and tempura was unbelievably good. Next time will try the ramen. Great friendly and fast service.
J. H.
Always a nice service from the great staff. The place is small so it feels a bit cramped sometimes. Food is delicious but it's not traditional japanese food if that's what you are after
A. B.
Amazing veggie options and lovely staff!
Z. G.
Really really good food! 🤩
S. S.
4 stars only because of waiting time to be seated, other than that, service and food was great! Ordered the spicy salmon roll and it was delicious. Don't miss the seafood balls, they're delicious!
D. E.
My favourite restaurant in Dublin. Food and service are consistently great and you can bring your own wine with a corkage fee.
Would recommend making reservations as it is usually very busy!
A. K.
Food good value (lunch in particular) and service usually friendly. Reservation recommended as number of tables onsite is small. Bonus points if you witness a birthday there (they turn off all the lights and play a song - can be a bit of a surprise if you are not expecting!)
T. P.
I've had sushi few times here and it was good, although not exceptional. However, I took my friends here and they ordered a regular one plate meal - stir-fried udon and fried rice. These meals had nothing to do with Japanese food. They were very greasy and had ingredients that the Japanese don't use. From the way it was prepared I'd bet it was made by a Chinese chef.
4* for the sushi
2* for the regular meals
R. M.
Love the menu, the, staff, the good value for money and the atmospheric buzz of chat and action. They're very accommodating in terms of gluten free options - even bring gluten free soy sauce for the table.
m. m.
Was surprised to this this restaurant open so in I went..as always the staff are very friendly and showed me to a nice quiet table for one in the corner..I ordered the chefs special selection of the day which arrived out in about 5 mins..needless to say it was devoured in minutes.. Excellent food and service..price was very very reasonable for ripoff city centre dublin..toilets were clean and tidy...
P. L.
Excellent food, the sushi was sublime, and the fish wonderfully fresh. A lovely evening, between the food, the wine and great staff
B. M.
Always great service and super food
G. O. L.
Very cool, relaxing, great quality, tasting and variety of food. Staff were extremely accommodating, polite and professional. If you like yamamori on quays in dublin, this is a great place which is as good but not as hectic or busy with a real relaxed calm vibe. Service was exceptionally quick too, we had parked in jervis street car park, walk a minute or 2 round the corner, ate and all and were back in car in 45 minutes flat :) all around top drawer
S. B.
The food was really good and service was friendly and quick with a lively atmosphere. BYO wine as well as stocking wine and beer. One thing to note, no non-alcoholic beer for sale and you can't BYO it either. So if you're the driver you'll need to settle for a soft drink. But you won't care, the food is why you're here
W. N.
Very nice and friendly staff, delicious food.
O.
While the service was good and the atmosphere is nice, the sushi disappointed a little. The texture and slightly strong odour would lead me to believe it was not fresh and prepared to order.
C. S.
Great food and lovely staff.
F. O.
Great Bento Box!! I highly recommend!!
l. v.
The best Ramen in Dublin! Superb service!
D. M.
Really delicious food and fantastic service!
N. L.
How shall I put this? We got lucky, we came in off the street asked if they had a table for 6... AND THEY DID. Why lucky? The place was packed. We ordered some sushi rolls. The more exotic stuff on the menu, eel etc. Soups and Ramen. What can I say? forget what I can say. My 15 year old said, I don't think what we had until today was sushi... Excellent, fresh, delicious.
Service was prompt if scattered, not a horrible delay. Like I said, to be fair, the place was packed!!! A trendy crowd for the most part. Loud as well. We were a family and perhaps not exactly a great fit, but we didn't mind. Young people having fun. Price was, there are cheapr options I am sure. But value for quality? I paid much more for far less. Portions were large we just got a few things for everyone to taste. It was ample. 90 euro bill 10euro tip. family of 6 had a great time, and no one had room for dessert? I'd say that's not too bad for one of the best Japanese meals I had in my life... And our kids make us go for Sushi every chance they get. If you're a fan of Japanese food. Don't miss it. P.S. we noticed they are renovating a much larger store front across the street. So might be easier to find a table. But still, order ahead... bon appetit!
R. D.
I tried to have dinner at this place hundreds of times but it was always fully booked! Finally I managed to have dinner at Musashi on a Sunday night and I loved it! Food is excellent!! We had sushi, sashimi and ramen and it was delicious! Excellent! The only bad aspect is that the restaurant is quite small and for this reason it is very noisy. Some people were having fun, laughing loud and it was nearly impossible for us to talk. Except for that, it is a great Japanese restaurant.
J. L.
Tried chicken ramen, taste good and will come again for other food on the menu.
Variety of food choices but it will be better if there are pictures in the menu. Lovely staff with really good attitude.
m. f.
Beef bento box Wow. Really good food here
D. A.
Favourite Japanese restaurant in town. Sushi is always fresh and the portions are a good size, plus the prices are the best around. Top tip - get a massive scoop of ice cream for just one euro. Try the mint chocolate chip!
P. M.
Brilliant service , waiting staff were exceptional. Attended with a party of six Everything we ordered was delicious , my personal highlight was the black tiger prawns, will be back again. Highly recommended.
N. T.
Super accommodating to vegetarians, and really great value for sushi in dublin! Everything tastes so fresh. You can't go wrong.
N.
We had a dinner for three in August. All meals, were extra large, exploding from flavors. The local plum wine was a nice supplement. It was not too loud so could have a conversation.
G. O.
Good quality and value. Great for lunch
A. S.
Good food, not cheap. Place is way too busy and not relaxing, couple of times when booking in advance we were told that we'll have to vacate table within 1 hour. 1 hour is not enough time to relax and have a chat. After around 45 mins waiters will keep pestering you to order more food until you feel like you should leave.
L.
This was by far the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been in. The food was very good and not too expensive, we all took some courses from the lunch menu with sushi roll and end up paying less than 20 euros. I totally recommend this place to have a good fresh Japanese meal in Dublin
N. S.
My to go place for Japanese food. Absolute Best sushi in town. Their soft shell crab and vegetarian sushi is the best. We also tried gyoza and yaki soba and it was not the best we have tried. However they serve top quality sushi .
J. S.
Always enjoy my trips here AND I got food to take away too. Very happy they're moving to a bigger premises on Capel street. Chicken Teryiaki was my choice but their sushi is equally as good. I know it isn't celebrated in Japan but Merry Christmas to all the staff!
S. M. C.
The food was lovely and the staff were very nice
A. T.
Enjoyable place and friendly staff. Cooking quality is a bit on the weak side though. Overboiled noodles and rice - not good. The ramen recipe is slightly strange. Not bad, but having say spicy miso ramen as an option would be nice.
e. f.
The gyoza and katsu chicken are delicious. The usual Japanese beer selection available. Sushi rolls were just ok. Definitely not what I expected and I have had sushi in Japan and the States. The spicy rolls seem to just have sriracha on top. The smoked salmon was good and very smoky tasting, but again, just not what I expected.
S. C.
Delicious Japanese food. Big portions at a reasonable price and very friendly and helpful staff. A fair selection on the menu. Comfortable atmosphere and seating. I recommend the Bento Box and the Musashi Ramen.
M. S.
Simply Amazing food, friendly and helpful staff, portion sizes are good. Value for money is incredible. I would recommend this restaurant however book I advance if you want a table.,
S. C.
Great service, great food. Excellent for lunch - lunchtime special bento or sushi plate for €9.99 is pretty good. Service is very fast at lunchtime too, I was in and out of there in 20 minutes!
P. P.
Favorite sushi place in Dublin! Best rice and the freshest fish. Nice to sit in, but suggest getting a reservation as gets crowded. Also does great take away!
E. N.
Food was great, service was even more great, loved this place!
J. G.
Great lunch place. Busy with a nice atmosphere. Cheap and cheerful.
All the other Masashi are poor, especially at lunch time, but this one is good.
The quality of the food isn't as high as Yamamori or Michie but it is convenient and good enough.
I would definitely recommend. Young crowd, great location.
R. N.
Big fan of Musashi - I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and it’s never disappointing. Lovely options, lunch box menu, great service! If you’re looking for a nice date place this is the right spot
D. R. R.
My fav sushi since 2018!
P. B.
Great Japanese food. Musashi is open for both lunch and dinner. Affordable price for quality food, fast freindly service. Not many places serving Japanese food in Dublin come close. Booking ahead is advised.
H. B.
Always great sushi and sashimi
A. A.
Very delicious food! Great seevice
A. G.
Excellent food and service, the sushi is super fresh. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait for my next visit.
B. G.
Good sushi selection for a reasonable price
K. O.
The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Brought my partner here to try sushi for the first time and they are definitely now a fan 😁.
R. G.
Really like this place, has great food and sushi, we usually go for the bento box, it's pretty great for the price. Only down side for me is the seating is very low... I guess they're going for a kinda authentic style but, it's just not practical if you have long legs...
B. C.
great sushi and good value. Tables are packed together too closely with uncomfortable wooden seats with no backs. Popular with students and anyone who enjoys good sushi.
A. F.
Food was tasty. Great setting. Would recommend the lunch box special to share. It was too much food. Great little place
S. B.
Really outstanding food. Great authentic taste. Lovely mention selection and wonderfully friendly staff.
D. D.
If you can get a table in here the food is really good. The service is usually quite prompt and I always forget how big the veg tempura actually is! Good lunch time menu too.
F. J.
This place is busy for a reason. Book in advance. Food is great only down side is you will feel pressured to leave when you are finished to free up the table for the additional customers. I'm good with that but one of my friends was not.
M. S.
Hands down the best Sushi I've ever had.
J. H.
Food is always best and delicious , California sushi, Ebi gyoza and Seafood Ramen always makes me happy. Service is top notch, Attentive and professional. €6 euro Corkage charge is best deal.
R. R.
One of the best sushi places in Dublin. They have multiple and central locations. Service is very good, staff is professional and food is really good.
C.
Musashi is my favourite place to go for food. Its so delicious, the service is amazing and fast. Id always book though because its a busy spot.
X. Z.
A place for quick lunch. It is owned by Chinese people. The rice in nigiri is better than michie sushi, but the fish part is about the same. The maki is decent, but some flavor was horrible. If you understand sushi and love it, this is not your place.
m.
Lovely stuff, gobble gobble. Tempura Sea bass was fantastic.
Can't wait to go back
N. Z. M. N.
Best sushi ever! Dine in or take out doesn't matter, it never disappoints me. Absolutely love Musashi!
N. B.
Great food and great service. Service staff were very attentive unlike many other places. Food was delicious and served with a smile. Definitely will be back.
M. W.
The chairs are a really efficient design: you can store your bag or jacket in a cubbyhole underneath the seat. Staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Sushi was delish too.
A. K.
Enjoyed the fresh sushi n noodles
V. H.
Very nice food and great service. Bit disappointing that BYO in this restaurant does not include beer (only wine) and I felt the corkage was overpriced at €6 a bottle. There are other BYO's close by that don't charge anything for opening a bottle.
K.
Like Japanese food, then Musashi is your place to go, albeit expensive, but food is to the standard you'd expect. Tried sushi for the first time there and it did not disappoint!
B. M.
The Bento box is the business of you are out for a quick lunch. Sushi and sashimi selection is excellent. I've never had bad food there.
S. R. S. G.
The service is prompt and pleasant. The food is cooked fresh and nicely. It's maybe not the most 'authentic' Japanese food, but it is good food for a good price.
A. C.
Tasty food in a lovely little restaurant, beautifully arranged. I've been here a couple of times and found it works for meeting friends or eating alone, although I would recommend booking ahead for a group.
C. L.
Great sushi, friendly service, and fair price. Sushi is great and hot plates also seemed very popular. I recommend a reservation since this place is popular and cozy. Approved! Campai!
P. N.
Very fresh, delicious sushi.
Note that it is very crowded (do make a reservation beforehand) or call for a takeaway order to make sure you don't need to wait too long.
Highly recommended.
A. F.
Unbelievably good service and food. Love the atmosphere. Was there for dinner and the beef teriyaki, sushi and sashimi were delish! I wish they could open a branch in the US or I would be visiting every day!
N. R.
Delicious sushi and surprisingly tasty red plum wine! The waitress was very friendly as well. Pretty reasonably priced
A. G.
I was so incredibly impressed with our experience here! We went on a Sunday around 7:30 and they were very full, so we made a reservation for 8. When we came back we still had to wait about 10 minutes or so, but we didn't mind. We started off with edamame and sushi (small salmon rolls and medium California rolls) as well as chicken skewers. We had been here before for those starters, and they were just as good the second time. The best part was without a doubt the main course though. I had the tatsuta chicken and my partner had the teppan beef teriyaki. Immediately we both were incredibly impressed. It was all very filling and impeccably presented. We'll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone.
L. D.
Fresh good sushi. Clean environment. Sumptuous tempura dishes and juicy meat in teryaki sauce. The ramen I tried is one of the simplest recipe and in this pure simplicity was its merit.
R. E.
Very great food!
D. C.
Just perfect as always.
Fresh and really tasty sushi with a perfect costumer service. The best in Dublin.
5 out of 5. 👍
A. B.
Excellent. Five stars for the food and for the staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, place managed very well.
P. D.
Very good food and excellent quality 👌
T. G.
Very delishious food, the waitress was very friendly, she always filled our glasses. Really recommend going there, best suhsi in Dublin.
C. B.
The Resteaurant is small and if you want go here it's better make a reservation. The food is very good and chip and you can choose sushi or sashimi. The drink is chip (1L water =2.5€ or coke 2.5€). For Erasmus Student is Perfect! ;)
A. P.
Lovely sushi place. Very small and always busy so make sure you book in advance. Tasty and great price
B. O. Y.
Chicken katsu bento is my favourite
J. S.
Excellent food, reasonably priced and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommended!
S. I.
The service was great; the food typical and tasteful, the atmosphere and the place on par with the rest.
I regret that there are (even with a plethoric menu) not so many typical japanese dishes. It lacks okonomyaki, takoyaki and so on!
Otherwise it was awesome and frankly not overpriced. :)
G. S.
Outstanding service and excellent food, can't thank the staff enough for a wonderful evening made all the new better by a nice twist on a birthday celebration. Recommend to everyone
O. G.
Lovely place, great food, nice choice, very friendly and attentive staff. They were not super fast, but everything esle was great, and we were happy with our dinner there.
L. P.
I used to give this place 4 stars, but now, it is a 5. Seems Yamamori lose some experienced chef, and some get into this place. Food are very good, place is small, make sure come in earlier.
A. R.
One of the best places to eat sushi in Dublin, with courteous staff and decent prices. Beware queues, this is a popular place, so boom any time you can!
M. G. (.
AMAZING service - with a few waiters that I wish were on the menu ;) and proper, good sushi - these guys know what they're doing.
A. B.
Best sushi in Dublin, hands down. Always fresh, delishious. Mushashi in Sandyford is not as good as this one.
K. G.
The nicest Japanese food I have eaten and such great value! Will definitely be back 😀
O. O.
Well made sushi, solid 4 but nothing revolutionary.
M. A.
Best meal we had in Dublin! The food was hot and delicious as was the dessert and coffee. Good prices and super friendly staff
N. C.
Food here is AMAZING - I'd give it a 6 if I could! Make sure to go on a weekday after midday for their lunch menu, which is full of amazing dishes for no more than €10.45!
L. R.
Super delicious the menu. Nice staff team and kindly. However it's a bit noise coz the room is small.
s. w.
very busy restaurant, but all the staff, no matter how busy they are still will give you the most enthusiastic and professional service. we love the ebi tempura masago roll and the ramen. must try .will not disappoint
G. S.
Probably our favourite place to eat sushi in Dublin. I recommend booking because they get busy, but the service is always quick and friendly and the sushi is excellent.
D. L.
Didn't have sushi but ramen and fried rice both of which were delicious, hearty and a generous portion. Btw the pork gyoza is pretty darn yummy too.
E. O.
Very good customer service under pressure
D. M.
Excellent sushi sashimi nigiri ramen. Great place all round. Lovely welcoming vibe. Focus on really fresh fish. Very good value too. Highly recommended.
K. C.
Amazing food and service. The Bento Box lunch is excellent value. You need to have a reservation for dinner though,as its always pretty full
N. L.
Very fresh food. Friendly and efficient service. Not cheap but not overpriced, you get what you pay for. Will come again
G. O.
Great food, great value, great staff. Can't go wrong! Has become a regular lunch spot for me
W. S. M.
The best sushi place on capel street. It's quite small so book in advance. They do BYOB.
perfect place for a date, very cosy and good food, staff is very friendly.
A. F.
I think this is the best value japanese restaurant I have been to. I really like the sushi and the prices are much lower here than other places
O.
Decent ramen and gyoza, staff are great and food served quickly. Have not tried the sushi which seems to be the more popular option.
S. P.
A great little place with excellent food. I took the kids and they polished the lot.
C. W.
I didn't have sushi but I'd love to try it. I ate from their wok grill menu and it was delicious!
M. S. A.
The best sushi place that I’ve ever seen! This place has helped me to start eating sushi since the food quality and the service is amazing with the qualified team!
L. R.

Great sushi and really nice atmosphere! It is a bit small so it is better to Book especially during The weekend!
J. T.
Great lunch deals! Would recommend the ramen and bento boxes! Best ramen in Dublin. Will definitely be back.
A. K.
Always nice, we make it here about once a week for lunch at work. It's busy at lunchtime, so arriving at around 2PM is best to get a table straight away.
J. D.
Really like this little restaurant. Food is relatively cheap but tastes great. Small venue and popular, so booking ahead is recommended.
S. O.
Always amazing food and such friendly staff. My favourite Japanese restaurant by far.
A. R.
Absolutely gorgeous food and super friendly staff:) basically everything's good so you don't even need to know the names of the dishes :)
A. N. (.
Absolutely delicious place to eat! Staff are friendly and it is a nice cozy resturant. Great experience.
I. N.
Great food. It's our regular spot in Dublin. Good service.
R. P.
Really like sushi and this place has a high quality one! Is really small so would be better to book in advance, but if you're lucky enough you can find a place
T. L.
Very good service provided. Lovley quality of food that is also super fresh! BYOB making this place great option for night out with people :)
K. M.
Good service and good prices. Not a huge selection of drinks/sake but the food selection is great.
Loud if the right crowd is in there. They recommend reservations and I'd agree, we came in w/o them and had to wait ~25 min.
A. P.
Beautiful food and great service
G. O.
The food is very good, the price is a little on the expensive side. The worst part in both my visits was the staff. Not terrible, but not proportional to the quality of the food.
M. S.
The best sushi in Dublin!! Very nice people and I've got fantastic birthday suprice. Cake was amazing😁 Thank you
C. P.
Friendly and attentive waiter/waitress and we didn't wait long for our order to arrive. And delicious food

D. C.
Food delicious (plenty of vegan options), staff extremely friendly, great ambiance, and byob with a reasonable corkscrew charge. Just go!

Decent choice of Asian food but the place is too small. You don't even know where to leave your jacket as there are only short stools
L. Q.

K. D. R.
Favorite place for sushi in Dublin. The service is always outstanding. Miso soup and gyoza is always great too!

P. R.

H. B.
Great service and excellent food. Cool ambiance. Reasonably priced. I'll be back again.
M. M. B.
great spot, friendly staff, very nice atmosphere, the starters are amazing I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the Ramen letting me down, it was a bit tasteless.
D. K.
Excellent Sushi, fresh, well handled, good gyozas, salad great, tempura veg, num num. A meal there is always good!!!
S. P.
The food and service is excellent. Definitely better than a lot of the Japanese restaurants in Dublin.
i. b.
I'm not a sushi expert but I really liked the food here. I think it has a great price and the quality is optimal!
A. C.
Great food & staff. Very authentic Japanese food but no chicken gizzards, thankfully.

J. A. S. S.
Very good quality at moderated prices. This one has good balance between quality and price. The lunch menu is good.
M. B.
Very good Japanese food at reasonable prices in a casual but stylish setting
T. W.
Great quality fish but probs are far from generous and the seating is none too comfortable, with very little room and ppl constantly brushing you while passing by.
C. O.
