A small old restaurant with good menu options. We had our lunch here and were content with the taste of food if not for the Fries and Smoked Salmon in the Fish Platter which was dry and didn't seem fresh. Among all the items we ordered Chicken Au Poivre was the highlight and we enjoyed it. Staffs were very courteous and quick with the service. There were film shield placed to avoid direct contact between tables. There is a difference in the menu rates mentioned online versus what's actually charged at the restaurant. The restaurant may need tablewares replaced and an internal uplift.

Came here on a whim on a Friday evening for a girls night dinner and it was so lovely! The staff are so attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely incredible! We had chicken pate, chicken wings, Irish stew, and the chefs special steak between the 3 of us and everything was delicious. The pepper sauce that came with the steak was so yum. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I just finished my first steak in Ireland and it was wonderful. I was fortunate to find such a cozy, charming place as O'Sheas. A true gem just a few steps off the main drag in Temple Bar, it is as warm and traditional as they come. Nicely done!

I had an amazing experience at O'Sheas Restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, it's a traditional Irish restaurant located in the middle of Temple bar. I bought a voucher online and the food was so good and fresh. The Chef is just brilliant and the waitress was lovely! I will definitely be back soon!

We got to this place through a Groupon reservation. The steaks were really nice and cooked as specified and the pepper sauce that came along with them just made them exquisite. The dressing for the small salad on the side was not that great, but it is personal preference. The waitress was very cordial and welcoming making the whole experience very pleasant overall.

We visited O sheas last weekend for my partners birthday, from the time we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Lisa, she went out of her way to make us feel very welcomed and accommodated to whatever seating we wanted. The restaurant itself has a great Irish traditional decor and great historic pictures on the wall. There's a big open fire and it added to the relaxing ambience of the place. We got starters, mains and a few pints of the black stuff We had purchased group on vouchers for the steak for 2 which is only €13! The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender. My son loved the ribs and didn't leave a bit of meat. Hard to believe 2 meals in the restaurant is only €13, I would of paid double. The best part of this restaurant was the waitress Lisa, she was great Craic 👍👌 We will be back in again next week without the kids haha. Thanks so much for a great experience 😊

Myself and my husband had 2 sirloin steaks. I ordered rare, he ordered medium way of steak be cooked. My steak came almost fully raw inside and nice cooked outside, my husband's one was rare instead of medium. He didn't mind as he likes rare too. He also stated that chips were too big and sauce wasn't that good for his taste. For me as I had raw, I still did like it. I love these meals like tartare. Really loved their creamy pepper souse and chips were really crunchy. Overall for me food was tasty. 3 stars because chef doesn't know difference between rare and raw, medium and rare. Majority of people would return both steaks back for being uncooked. Great spot in the city centre, place is very small and old fashioned. In overall not too bad.

Hi everyone! This is a restaurant that I would highly recommend to you all. We went for a steak there yesterday, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was flawless. The restaurant is very clean and adapted to the new curent situation, the food is beautifully cooked and presented and the blonde hair girl that served us ( I'm sorry for not remembering the lady's name), went above and beyond to make us feel excellent. We went with our toddler , and not even one split second felt uncomfortable or unwelcome. This is a very intimate place for couple also, for friends gathering, for small events,with a very strong interiors Irish design, but yet modern. I cannot highly recommend how pleased I was with the whole experience. Thank you O'Sheas restaurant team!

I have passed this place so many times and never inside. In the heart of temple bar a quirky cosy little place . 27 years in business and it's open with less tables and covid screens . With out sounding bias it's one of the best value places I have been . The specials are really specials the food is top notch. If you like large pan fried sirloin steak , This is the place . Tried to escape the crowds for breakfast by diving in here and was warmly welcomed by Mahmoud (I know I probably misspelled the name, so I apologize). The breakfast came out quickly and was delicious. Portions were large but not overwhelming and the service was outstanding. Had a great time chatting and receiving some valuable information for the rest of our journey. Our visit here set the stage for a great day in town!

This was a great restaurant experience. We had lamb cutlets and they were perfectly cooked and delicious. Likewise the chips, which we choose over baked potatoes. Mahmud and his staff were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. I am a Dubliner and didn't know O'Sheas but will be back.

Restaraunt had a real authentic Irish feel to it. The toilets looked like they came right out of the 1960's! The guy who showed us to our seats was quite colourful and welcoming. If you're just going for the Lamb Cutlet deal, but are quite hungry, I recommend getting the large platter. My wife and I really enjoyed it. As far as the actual meal we went for, I found it to be a bit sub-standard. The chips were underdone in places and the cutlets were a good deal overdone, charred black mostly. Altogether though, we had a nice experience and I would suggest you give it a try.
