Great food in Pickle last night. The 4 of us had the Xmas menu (€55) and it was a great selection of dishes. Staff were very good and customised the selection for our non lamb eater!
They were a bit to keen to get us out at finishing up time though, which was a pity.

The Pickle North Indian Regional Cuisine is definitely true to the Indian flavors and the food is really good. The service wasn’t always as the level, that it looks like they are aming for. Eg. we first had one waiter who asked for drinks. Then a few minutes later another waiter came and asked for drinks. We ordered both still and sparkling water, but then we only got still water. When we asked for sparkling again, it was only the person who was fine drinking still water that got sparkling water.
Even though food was really good, the prices are way too high. I wasn’t blown away by the flavors, and you can easily find Indian cuisine for way less money.

Amazing Indian food, staff cordial and ready to help you in your selection to best match your tastes. We tried the Christmas taste menu and was absolutely delicious, and also the price was more than honest for the amount of food we got! Strongly recommend
F.
Love this restaurant! Recently tried out for the first time and was so happy with every aspect. The menu is great, everything is clearly explained, great selection of different meats, options for vegetarian and vegan meals on the main menu. The food was amazing, so many different flavours and everything tasted like high quality ingredients and well made. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The prices feel reasonable for the amount of food and the quality of the meal and setting. Would definitely recommend trying here!

My husband and I are obsessed with Pickle! It is definitely one of our go-to spots in Dublin for a fancy feast. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is exquisite. If you are in Dublin do not hesitate to dine here! You will not be disappointed
A. H.
Great food and service. Danny, who was our server for the evening was extremely professional and helped us with our order. Vegetarian Thali and Benarasi Paneer were simply delicious. However, the person who took our bill in the end was a bit rude, which kinda hampered the overall experience. Would definitely recommend Pickle to anyone looking for quality Indian food in Dublin.

The food was great and the ambience was superb. We ordered lamb, chicken, naan and biriyani. The biriyani was not that good. Everything else was delicious and we had a great time there. The best one was the mango lassi. It is highly recommended no matter what you order.

Best Indian Restaurant in Dublin, this restaurant is must try.
Trust me you will enjoy all the dishes.

Best North Indian in Dublin without a doubt!!! My partner had booked this restaurant for my birthday and we were not disappointed, the food and flavours were truly amazing. Despite being late, staff were so welcoming and as a sweet gesture they had remembered the dinner was booked for a birthday meal and had put a candle in the Gulab Jamun we had for dessert! It's the little things that make it extra special! Brilliant service and food is the best combo, highly recommend!!!
A. I.
Recommend gulab Jamun, Lamb Chops and chicken tikka. Starters were delicious but less quantity for the price. Main course was average.
*Overpriced*

Fantastic quick and tasty delicious dinner!
Last minute choice but they were very accommodating.
A.
Excellent food and service! Probably the best authentic Indian food in Dublin.
m. s.
Fantastic food,
staff very nice & helpful , they were great helping me to choose from the menu. Couldn't help enough, definitely will go back . Thank u 😊
S. A.
Food there is amazing..so delicious..I had fish curry with garlic nan. Staff were very nice and friendly..when the bill came the waitress informed us that a 10% service charges were already included which was nice from her.
It could be a bit pricey. I like going there to my special celebration.
going there again hopefully soon in my birthday 😍
L. D.
Very friendly service. The korma was surprisingly liquid. Nice presentation of the dishes.

One of the best places to have delicious Indian food in Dublin. Being a Michelin star restaurant the prices are a little dearer, but we chose a €25 deal which included a starter and a main course. The chicken served was well marinated and had a great taste. The chat was bit spicier than usual, and would not recommend to someone who cannot tolerate spices. We were unable to finish the food so they did pack it for us for takeaway.
V. B.
This restaurant is on-point with everything. It felt like eating at some home restaurant. Have tried many restaurants in Dublin but non of them comes close enough to Pickle in Taste and Authenticity.
Would recommend this place to anyone who is fond of Indian food and would want close to Indian Experience when it comes to taste.
I am looking forward for future visit and would love inclusion of more Indian dishes in their menu.
M. K.
The food Quality and Flavours are outstanding. Everything was spot on. This is not the average Curry place, they serve proper indian food. I will be back to this incredible place. Make sure you book a table days in advance. It's very busy for a good reason

Beautiful food........ Top Indian cuisine with a twist
E. G.
Unreal as usual. This is our 5th time here and it's always amazing. Super high standards and fantastic service. Would always recommend.
E. S.
Amazing food and overall experience! This restaurant is truly a gem. Each dish is inspired and extremely flavorful. Definitely the best Indian food I have ever had. We got lucky and showed up without a reservation and there was space, but we overheard several others being told that reservations are often filling up 3 weeks in advance so be sure to reserve if you are wanting to go! Can’t wait to go back and try out more dishes :)
A. A.
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Dublin! Don’t miss this one and please reserve a table early.
S. J. B.
Absolutely delicious food! Really enjoyed the ambience and the place! Highly recommended! The perfect balance of spice and flavours! Perfect place for friends/couples. The chicken and lamb are the only meat that's halal. Overall a good experience. Just a note - would be best for the servers to be wary of the utensils they don't provide as we were left with a few curries without a spoon to serve out of. Would revisit!
S. C.
Without doubt, the very best Indian restaurant in Dublin. The menu is amazing and very different, the food is delicious and the use of spices is without compare and the staff are so attentive. Book very much in advance because it's always busy. Do not miss an opportunity to go here....... enjoy

Been to many indian restaurants in Dublin. Pickle is the best restaurant serving Indian food. Highly recommend it.
Any dish you order, you won't be disappointed.

I've eaten more than my fair share of curries at fancy and not fancy restaurants around the world....NYC, LA, Atlanta, London etc. Without a doubt, Pickle is one of the greatest experiences my wife and I have ever had. The service is impeccable, the menu is daring but features some classics executed to perfection. The "Masala Ribs" makes this Indian in Texas smile in Glee. The lamb chop and lamb gosht were some of the most flavorful dishes I have ever had. They were kind enough to email me back and confirm a reservation just a few hours before opening!
Highly recommended for authentic (I am Indian so yes I can say that) Indian cuisine !
S.
I am not a fan of Indian cuisine as it has caused me tummy upset at most of the times.
To avoid the problems I choose to have a few dishes of this cuisine only.
Every time when I go to Indian Restaurant. There are only two dishes that I will always order.
Which they are Prawns Tandoori and Chicken Biryani Rice.
I have been to many Indian restaurants and most of them have the same style of service.
Most of Indian cuisine are affordable price and the different is on recipe depends where they come from.
Pickle Restaurant is the modern type of Indian Restaurant with a fusion style of cooking of Indian cuisine, but the chef is very attention into details and he remains the originality of unique Indian’s fragrances, taste, ingredients and the story of itself.
The only thing is the price it’s may vary but it is worth it for a treat. The price on theirs food are much higher than other Indian Restaurant and they don’t served poppadom for a free an appetiser like the others do. But you can orders it if you wish.
The staffs are very nice and knowledgable about the food very well. The only thing is that they speak too fast to understand what it is.
A very small grey point that I would suggest to the Restaurant is that don’t Served a wet Cup to the customers please.
I been giving a wet Cup for my tea and I had to wiped it with my serviette.
I give this Restaurant 4 stars based on the food. As I mentioned above and
I enjoyed all the ailment that the chef has created his dishes very well.
I will return to your kitchen for more for sure 🙂

Nice setting a good staff, the place looks very upmarket. The menu has a lot of options but they're quite unconventional compared to other Indian restaurants. The mains are also very expensive. I'd recommend getting in for the much more affordable early bird menu which also includes a range of different food options which I actually preferred plus free rice and naan bread. The food is good and the portion size is decent, and the offerings are certainly on the spicy side. Worth a look.

Amazing food, I haven't enjoyed Indian food as much as I did in pickle in entire ireland though I haven't been to few others yet. But among the ones I have tried, their food is the best. Their chicken (for sure) and lamb (I guess) is halal. So I tried only veg dishes of theirs and chicken which were phenomenal!!! Oh .... and their plating is pretty nice too!
However, I would highly highly recommend to make booking in advance as they are normally very busy.
R. A.
Being vegetarian this place offered us very good options. Unlike many other so called Indian restaurants and take aways, they offered a bit more authentic taste. Only downside is that all the quality and taste came with a bit high prices.
Taste - very good
Quality - top notch
Quantity - not bad
Service - top
Price - a bit high

Tldr: Lamb starter and curry is the best i've had. Mango lassi is very authentic and excellent
Went for a 2 course meal. One of the best food i've had ( In India or outside ).
The chicken starter was good, it tasted excellent with the beetroot sauce. I'd say the chicken starter could be slightly better. The lamb starter was made to perfection.
Chicken tikka curry was a little sweet for us, but the manager immediately took it away and made it as per our taste and it was delicious. Every spoon of it was mouth watering to say the least. The other curry was lamp saag, ordered on recommendation as I asked for something spicy. The lamb again, was perfectly cooked. Melted away in my mouth. The curry was one of the best I've had in a long time. Tip to others, the above tow currys tastes excellent with Nan/bread than it does with Rice. So, to make the most - eat with bread.
The mango lassi was very authentic. The salt lassi could have been better, slightly more thicker.
Will surely visit to try the chicken wings. Can wait to visit once again.

Always guaranteed great food from Chef Sunil and yesterday's didn't disappoint! Very pleasant and attentive front of house staff also.

About Me: I am well versed in the taste of both south Indian and North indian food and have a liking for spicy (hot) food.
Likes: I loved the food over here! Hands down one of the best Indian food I've eaten in Dublin. The only restaurant that serves a lot of dishes which are very authentic like, chole bature, karhai paneer etc..
Improvement areas: The food is a bit more priced than your regular meal in Dublin. I once had a waiter who was rude to me forcing me to order more food which is not cool! The only reason why I am not giving the restaurant 5 stars
My take, I would go 9 times out of 10 to enjoy the amazing food they have to offer.
S. P.
Easily the best Indian food I’ve had outside India in a long time. I’m vegetarian - tried the cauliflower/Paneer/mushroom starter, saag Paneer and dal makhni. All of them were outstanding - I can only imagine how good the meat dishes must be. These guys really know their grilled stuff and sauces. I’m usually unable to look past the Paneer but in this case, the daal was the star - such amazing depth of flavor and as rich as it should be. The food is pretty spicy - and in a nice way. Both the desserts we tried were excellent - the chocolate cake and the kulfi. Go early or make reservations- this place was hard to get into we managed to snag bar seating.
A. F.
Super nice food. The entire place is lovely with a great atmosphere. It is a real Indian food. Depending on how hungry you are, you can just go along with a starter and desert.
T. M.
I went here for lunch The food was gorgeous, with a great depth of flavour. The staff were friendly and helpful
P. D.
This isn't the best Indian in Dublin, its the best restaraunt in Dublin
Food is perfect balance of flavour and spice. Staff are brilliant. Hard to get a reservation but worth booking in advance. Finest Indian food I’ve ever had. Kid goat curry is amazballs and Fish curry isn't too far behind.
a.
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, great wine selection. Great and friendly staff. It's definitely recommended.
J. P.
The meals are colourful and very tasty. I like spicy food and I like the amount of spice they use. I visited this restaurant several times and the last time we went for the tasting menu which was just amazing. Delicious grilled gambas, lamb shop, goat stew and more. Each of the course was delicious.
The staff was nice and fast even though the place was full.
M. D.
The best dinner I have ever had. I visited this place with my friends and had best time together. The hospitality was soooo goood. Each dish that we had was so delicious and unique taste. The presentation was sooo apetising and eye catchy.... The desserts were also very good and overall it was an amazing dinner and worth for money tooooo... 😋😋😋
C. W.
This joint was recommended to us by a local and now we’re hooked. Really high quality ingredients, food and service. I highly recommend you order their mango lassis, seafood curry, paneer and BLACK DAAL. Their black daal is one of the best I’ve had, so rich and flavoursome. The serving sizes are generous as well so you’ll feel properly satiated by the end of your meal, probably with some extras to take home with you as well! 5*s
A. G.
Food speaks for itself, the location and service is commendable. You need to prebook before you visit to this place for a luncheon or a dinner. However, a lovely place to enjoy nearly authentic north Indian delicacies in Dublin.
L. M.
Great food and amazing service. We ended up getting the time of our booking wrong and showed up an hour late. They were able to accommodate us straight away and made sure to tell us not to rush ourselves. Would highly recommend
J. H.
One of Ireland's best restaurants. Sunil has deservedly won award for Ireland's best chef. Tasting menu highly recommended. If this was in London, prices would be doubled.
S. S.
Pickle is probably the best Indian Resturaunt (Michelin Star) in Dublin. Very authentic Indian taste. Can be a bit spicy if you are not used to spicy food. Located in Camden Street next to cassidy's, I mistook this place for a pub. The reason for four stars instead of five is the seating is not the best for all the tables. The place feels a bit cramped and the decor feels more like a pub than a fine dine Resturaunt (given its prices). Go here for very good food and don't expect great decor or pomp. If it has got a Michelin star, it's definetly for the food and not because of decor and other things. Would I go again? probably... Once again the food is really good.
P. Y.
The best Indian restaurant in Ireland, hands down. They have a vegetarian thali but no non veg thali on the menu. They will make a non veg thali for you if you ask. I recommend this as a way to try as many of their dishes as possible. The butter chicken is phenomenal and their goat was rich and flavourful. The lahsi was spiced and not overly sweet. Loved this place!
p. m.
Fantastic food and service, highly recommended
l. b.
Good and tasteful indian dishes with pretty large portions.
Staff is friendly.
Better reserve if you want a table
s. m.
Best Indian in Dublin. Not cheap but worth it. Actually the mid week deal is good value as you get a lot. Recommended.
M. W.
Very high quality Indian grub. All of the usuals as well as plenty of dishes you wouldn’t be used to in Dublin. Had the Chaat Ki Rehdi as a starter between two. It’s 4 different Indian street foods, and it’s as much an experience as it is a meal 🥘
K. S.
Indian food is not my favorite but kept hearing about this place from friends... Finally went and wish I had gone sooner! Their early menu is great for trying a few different things and their service is wonderful. It’s a must do but get in early or make reservations, it’s always full!
J. S.
This is in my top 3 Indian restaurants across America, Europe, and Asia! Fully authentic flavor and I love the fact that it comes out with a great level of heat. Typically in the US we have to ask for hot, but not here! Try the Tandoori Chicken and the Goat!
M. P.
Without doubt the best Indian food I ever tasted. Awesome flavours...out of this world! Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Recommend the Makhani Chicken and the duck starter.
J. A.
Had the Ribs Starter and Wild Boar Vindaloo both unusual for me in an indian setting and both delicious. Not yer typical Indian seems like quite a small but quality menu. Guests had fish curry and Vennison both equally enjoyed. Not sure why they dont do Pilaou Rice though.
h. h.
Wonderful staff. Explain every dish to you. The food is outstanding.
Well worth a visit ( if you can get in! )
A. C.
This was the best Indian food I've ever had. I haven't been to a million Indian restaurants but I was in Bangalore for a month, and this was the best I've had by a mile. We shared 8 dishes, that was a good call, do this and taste everything they have to offer.
Dropped one star because I thought it was too expensive for the portion sizes. However, it was stellar.
N. T.
Best Indian food in Dublin by far.
Make sure to make a reservation - it is worth it. Dinner and drinks for three people came to about €50 each which is more than fair for the delicious food.
I recommend the goat curry and the wild boar vindaloo. The spices are well balanced and i’m sure suitable to most palates.
Ambience is lovely and modern and wait staff are more than happy to accommodate requests. Will definitely be back and highly reccomend!
I. M. D.
We had the tasting menu. Food was fab. Staff where so friendly. Cant wait to go back.
B. L.
Great service and great food. Every dish was special. Duck appetizer, lamb chops and stuffed chicken breast entrees. Naan and of course, mixed pickles. You will not be disappointed.
H. H.
Excellent service, mouth watering Indian food in a lovely setting. Definitely will visit again!
K. F.
Really tasty and interesting dishes. Best Indian in Dublin by far. Early bird is great value. Some of the vegetarian dishes were amazing. Lamb and chicken were tender and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to go back.
A. P.
The food is good, I think one of the best Indian restaurant in Dublin. The staff is also very helpful and the restaurant is nice. The main problem is that is overpriced. I had lentils plus rice (small quantity) and a glass of wine, for 30 euro (8 euro the glass of wine).
S. J.
Top indian restaurant in Dublin.
Chicken Biryani: Good, biryani curry is great. But not good enough for the price
Butter Chicken: Creamy, well cooked, flavour on point
Aloo tikki: Also delicious (2 pieces)
Seekh Kebab: With the green chutney provided, this is just perfect. (2 pieces)
A. M.
Great food, great ambience, great service.
And hence, it's difficult to get a booking here..
A. O.
A unique experience of Indian dining in Dublin. It's quite pricey, but for a special occasion it can't be beaten. It's almost kind of Indian fusion food. You'll definitely find something here you haven't had anywhere else. So so good
K. K.
Obviously can't visit in person during the pandemic, but have ordered for delivery on a few occasions. The food really is excellent. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had, and I've had a lot!
Good clear allergen labelling on the menu as well.
Highly recommended.
R. K.
I have been on a long search to find the best Indian restaurant or takeaway in Dublin for the last 8 years. Then came along Pickle. The food is as authentic as that back home. Finally a place to wake up all my taste buds. The service is excellent and very kind staff. Don’t forget to reserve well ahead of time, usually 2 days. It’s worth it.
S. T.
Very tasty food. Great ambience. Highly recommend the Pardah Biryani and Murgh Makhani. Will be visiting again. Can order spice to taste.
A. G.
This is the most genuinely authentic north Indian cuisine I've had in Dublin. It was so nice to see a restaurant that honoured the cuisine with such precision yet with a modern and accessible take on it. The Nawab's Seekh Kebab were absolutely the star of the show! And the Mem Sahab's Mess dessert was the crowned jewel. The staff was professional and friendly. The ambience cozy. They were prompt in accommodating our food requests and executed them to perfection. I was very happy with the whole experience. Give this one a go!
H. B.
Superb experience at Pickle, definitely coming again ! ThankYou for great service and yummilicious food.
T. K. (.
Good food, quick service, easy to book reservation online. The dinner menu is an elaborate one however if going for lunch do note the lunch menu is slightly shorter so if you have a specific food in mind check in advance if it’s in the lunch or dinner menu. Other than that good ambience and service.
S. V.
This is an absolute MUST VISIT if you’re into Indian food. The food is incredible, and so is the staff. Very friendly. We were with a big group but they managed like pros. Try the ice cream!
M. M.
Stunning food everytime. We've been here and lately have gotten take away a few times and it's always amazing. We're already planning our next meal there.
C. H.
Staff, food, food, staff, food, staff. No I amen to type them again and again. Just incredible start to finish. Dessert is good but not to the level of everything else.
S.
One of the best indian restaurant I had in Dublin. Highly recommended!
h. p.
They offer the best indian food and their service is excellent ❤️❤️ love pickle
S. R.
The restaurant was full, and the ambiance was fun. The food was tasty, but it didn't wow me. I ordered the boar curry, which was supposedly the spiciest curry on the menu. While the boar was tender and the curry both sweet and savory, I found the heat underwhelming. Perhaps I could have asked for it spicier, but I didn't expect to need to.
I tried the bread basket. The garlic naan had good flavor, but was served cold. The pashwari naan was the best of the three options, as it was well stuffed and tasted very fresh.
Overall, Pickle was good, but it did not live up to the hype from Google or Trip Advisor.
S. C.
Delicious food in a modern setting. Wait was short and staff was friendly. The early dinner formula has a special price that combines appetizer and entree essentially for the price of one entree. It offers a variety of meals to choose from. Only suggestion would be to add more vegetarian options into the early dinner menu !
O. O.
Not sure what was so special about thr Boar Vintaloo I had to deserve a Michelin star, but despite this personal doubt it was very good. Service was fantastic and you could notice a higher attention to details in terms of cleanliness and ambiance. Definitely a full 5 stars on Google. 👌
K. M.
Three words: totally worth it. That's how I would sum up Pickle. Going in our expectations were high but Pickle delivered. We went in without a reservation on a Saturday which was risky but the staff was very accommodating and managed to squeeze us in (in the future I would recommend booking a table). The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The atmosphere is great also. It feels relaxed and cosy. Also, do yourself a favor and try the mango lassi - it's to die for. Overall great experience. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. Would give 6 stars if I could :)
S. L.
Staff where very good.
Food was explained very well.
Lacked a little atmosphere.
Over all happy we went.
S. K. M.
There is an abundance of Indian restaurants in Dublin, but very few can do it great when it comes to comforting Indian taste buds, Pickle definitely is one of them. It's a small cozy fine dinning restaurant, can be a bit expensive.
J. M.
3rd time there and it was brilliant. The Chocolate dessert was amazing and the desert wine recommended was perfect. Can't wait to go back and try the lamb shoulder!
A. E.
good service. very worthwhile papadam platter (rice crisps). delicious prawns and naan.
X. J. F.
Super delicious Indian food! I will definitely visit again when I have a chance to visit Dublin. The service is also super!
M. Y.
Best place in Dublin & possibly Ireland for an Indian meal. Cannot say enough for the standard of service, quality and selection of food available in this restaurant for lunch and evening meals. The newly remodeld restrooms are of an outstanding quality in keeping with the rest of the facilities available to customers inside.
N. S.
I used to like this restaurant so much but now not as much. The food here is alright.,
C. A.
My first time at Pickle and it already one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Service was exemplary and the food was beyond fantastic. Would highly recommend and an immensely looking forward to my next visit already!
J. G.
Pickle is an amazing Indian restaurant with a ton of great Indian food. They have amazing Naan bread, and delicious dinner options. Tuesday-Saturday the Dinner is from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. They are closed Monday.
F. M.
Amazing food with delicately and expertly crafted flavours with professional, knowledgeable and warm service
A. M.
Amazing food, great place for fine dining if you are looking for Indian food.
R. F.
Absolutely stunning food, lovely service, and well worth a visit!
F. S.
My experience was fantastic, the best flavours of modern Indian cuisine
A. C.
The best place for Indian food in Dublin. I had the best experience with the menu, the food, the staff, the place has a great atmosphere. It’s a bit expensive but I highly recommend this place.
a. b.
Totally loved the food here. Would highly recommend it.
A. F.
Absolute gem, would recommend highly. Staff very attentive, food wonderful and a great atmosphere
Z. S.
Great food a bit on the expensive side. Sad there was a power cut and all the lights went out, spoilt the evening a bit.
k. m.
The food was amazing. And the service was great. I can't wait to return
R. A. Y.
Probably the best Indian food I've ever had! Highly recommendable!
L. D.
We ordered take away as a celebration for a big birthday during lockdown. The food was amazing, just as good as when we've eaten in the restaurant and delivered right on time. We would definitely order again and looking forward to another visit once it's safe to do so
A. S.
Very nice decor, cosy and contemporary, polite service.
Attractive menu, but many dishes came with flaws - luke warm or under/over spiced.
The restaurant didn't serve papadum with pickles before dinner.
In summary, nice cosy place, but there are better Indian restaurants around.
S. B.
Very nice restaurant. A little bit pricey but high standards.
Enjoy...
F. C.
Probably the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I had the duck tasting to start, with the Lamb & Bone Marrow curry as mains, both absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderfully helpful, I can't wait until my next visit!
I. R.
Nice , cozy, high-end Indian restaurant with friendly staff. Food tastes good. Have high chair for infants as well. Recommend calling up and making reservations before dropping by.
R. S.
Absolutely Spectacular Food. An artistic dance on the pallet! Will we back
J. B.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The restaurant does it's own twists on traditional Indian food such as venison kemma samosas and elevates dishes to a higher level than your standard Indian restaurant. The staff were extremely attentive but not over the top. The atmosphere was busy but not crowded. A very good starting point for a night out in Dublin.
H. S.
Best Indian food I had in Dublin in 4 years !
C. V.
We’ve visited the place a few times and every time the place has something to surprise us! The menu includes ample options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The ambience is just perfect for an evening with your loved ones and the staff are really friendly and goes extra mile in helping you understand your options (especially if you’re trying Indian food for the first time). The food is just delicious. And I think, Pickle is, undoubtedly, one of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin.
S. Ó. G.
Savage place, best Indian I’ve had in Dublin. The goat dish is excellent.
C. K.
Some of the best food I've had in Dublin. If you like Indian you're in for a treat. The crab and scallop curry is unbelievable, and even the naan breads are a cut above any other place
M. W.
Lovely venue and some really tasty Indian dishes. The only thing is the like for four prawns it was €16:50 four quid a prawn and 50c for colour of flavoured sauces. I don’t know, but anyway. I used to love the Indian that was in that building about 8-10 years ago. That was beautiful and very fair priced. But I think they left because of the financial crisis and not as many dinned out. No where near enough food for that price when your rice and bread are on a separate page and are charged separately as well. Good luck anyway your busy most times but will you be a one flash or disappear when people have tasted better elsewhere. Food good- price doesn’t make sense and staff are let’s say ok.
K. C.
I've eaten in at Pickle pre-lockdown and the food was fantastic. I ordered take-away for New Years Eve and it was disappointing, particularly since they are continuing to charge pretty much full restaurant prices. For that cost, I would have expected at the very least some decent packaging but everything was sent in plastic containers - even a cremeux dessert which was impossible to get out of the container without breaking. Definitely recommend for eat-in but any half decent takeaway is comparable for take-out.
A. D.
Very good Indian food with good vegan options. Friendly staff, good prices.
K.
Everything about this place is superb . The food is divine, there's a dish to suit every palate. (The vegetarian dishes are delicious! )
Pickle books out pretty much nightly .. but the ambience is so perfect and relaxing that it feels really spacious and chilled out .
The staff are superb . Friendliest most attentive service I've had in forever !!
(Try the milk donuts ... I can't stop thinking about how nice they were !)
A. B.
We’ve been here 3 times over the last 2 months. Each and every dish my wife and I ordered was fabulous.
Anyone who’s lived or traveled in India knows that the food taste is vastly different in the north and the south. The menu is carefully crafted with specialities from different parts of India. And the Chef has done an outstanding job of reflecting the diversity in taste that Indian food offers. We absolutely love the food here.
The service is outstanding too. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, make the whole experience truly Indian.
We cannot recommend this place enough.
C.
Amazing food, amazing service, could not fault one thing.
M. S.
It was crowded and for Indian food better than any restaurant in Cork
J. O. M.
Love this place. Indian is my favourite type of food and this place delivers big time. You know it's good when you see native Indians in to dine. Always excellent service and great atmosphere. Book in advance is a must. I personally love the pork ribs for starters, beef vindaloo & butter chicken mains. The deserts at Indian restaurants aren't generally my thing and same here. But the food really is top notch. Best Indian restaurant in Dublin... Ireland possibly.
G. R.
Amazing food every time, really nice staff, we always leave looking forward to our next visit!
Take away has been really nice too although looking forward to being able to eat in again soon!
S. R.
Best Indian restaurant I've ever had. It was so delicious and presented so beautifully. Fantastic service as well. I can't wait to go back again.
A. R.
I would give 5 star for the food, But I am rating it at 3 for the kind of welcome and treatment I received at the restaurant. It was my girlfriends Birthday and I had booked a table for two a week prior to her Birthday and had specially requested to give us a corner seat and serve a piece of pastry to her as its her Birthday. The guy who confirmed the booking said "Oh yes we can do that". Reached the restaurant and there was confusion on the booking. They acted like my name was not even in their reservation charts. Gave us a table in the middle of two full tables. The guys working there has no consideration for Indian crowd and is 100% into pampering Irish crowd. The food is excellent, there is no doubt about it but the service was poor. She never got that pastry at the end anyway which added to the disappointment. Thank you lads for ruining my plans. I, an Indian pay you the same amount as any other Irish guy. So learn to treat everyone equal. After all you call yourself an Indian Restaurant. So have some consideration for the Indian crowd as well. This is not just my opinion. An Indian family sitting right beside me said the same. The staff needs to learn some manners.
G. W.
Great food. The ribs in particular were outstanding
C. A.
Prized restaurant with authentic Indian food. The atmosphere reminds of India and the staff is friendly and helpful. The reason why I gave 4 stars? The cuisine is way to rich and heavy in sauces for my taste. If you like that type of cuisine then is perfect, but to me it's too much. Not my favourite.
A. E.
Absolutely exceptional- what a true gem on Camden Street. This place is outstanding- a must try if you like flavorful food! We went for a second time recently, and it was better than the first. My wife and I were blown away at the quality, taste, presentation, atmosphere, as well as wine selection. The people cooking and running this restaurant are true professionals in every way- this is an A+ 10/10 for dinner in Dublin. Must try!!!
M. B.
Pricey for what offers. The lamb shank was more fat than meat. Nothing especial.
A. D.
Great service, amazing food. Will be back!
J. B.
Best indian restaurant in Dublin, not a cent of doubt in that!
T. M.
An absolute delight. The flavours, the quality, the presentation are all exceptional. Easily the best Indian cuisine in Dublin. Add into the mix staff that are friendly and attentive, it's easy to see why booking is essential. Star dishes would be the potato cake starter, the butter chicken and the lamb saag.
N. K.
It's a small place, but the food is amazing.
T. F. (.
First time here and can understand why it's so highly rated. Next time I may just order starters to taste as widely as possible. Also lovely bottle of Chardonnay which went really well with our choices
J. B.
Excellent food. Enjoyed a lunch here with friends and we all enjoyed our food. The butter chicken is really delicious and the naan bread was the best naan I've ever had. Service was attentive and unfussy. Lunch options are limited but the quality and flavour was so good I couldn't complain. Setting is nice and relaxed and atmosphere was relaxed. Value wise the lunch menu was more expensive that other local alternatives (15 for a main) but worth it. I would highly recommend.
R. P.
Nathurams Chole Bhature is too good, I ordered them yesterday and trust me it is the best option you can get in Dublin especially for "Chole Bhature"
I was really missing food of my place New Delhi very badly and was craving for this snack "Chole Bhature".
Pickle did their best, although it's little overpriced but it was worth it. Hope I can dine in their soon after lockdown ends.
Amazing food 5/5👍
L. T.
The holy grail of Indian cuisine in Dublin. Make sure to try the Chaat Ki Rehdi. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service to boot. Will absolutely be returning many more times.
P.
Best Indian Food I ever ate !! The wilder the dish the better. The wild boar is a must
R. S.
Amazing experience!!!! The most authentic Indian food I had outside of India. I told the person taking the order to make the food Indian spicy and chatpata and they totally delivered. It is an expensive place so go for a special occasion but well worth it. Make reservations. Highly recommend it. Next time we are in Dublin we will surely visit this restaurant.
R. I.
Great food, highly pricey though, crowded, don't go without a prior appointment..
S. R.
Food tasts and looks delicious! Can highly recommend this restaurant!
M. L.
This beats London's Veeraswamy and Benares top restaurant. Probably best Indian ever. It does come with a price. The quality of dishes outstanding. The bread basket shockingly tasty. The menu has some much varieties. Large portions. The Decor not sure what they doing. They should try putting old indian history pictures like The Punjab in convert garden. Dublin's Gem in Indian food. Well done.
F. A.
when you aim for indian restaurant usually around the world the portion and dishes have more , this one portions are few
rating the food quality , taste 5/5
service 4/5
place overall 4/5
2 floor for more seatings
M. K.
Definitely would recommend for great Indian food! Book ahead though as the place can get busy and may not do walk ins. If you want a decent Indian food experience on the budget, go for the veg thali. It’ll give you a taste of 3-4 curries with a choice of rice and bread and a few different selections of condiments. Staff are generally friendly and helpful in making your decision if you’re unsure of what you may want!
V. P.
Quality. Exceptional Indian food on a world class standard. The goat curry was so rich and well spiced with the right level of heat. The dessert was lovely as well.
My only issue is the limited drinks selection. I think a nice refreshing lime cocktail would pair nicely with the food over a heavy ale or wine.
n. k.
Oh my god!!!!! Really enjoyed Pickle had the kid curry yummmmmmmy! Would jump at the chance to eat here again!
L. H.
This week's Treat Sunday- outstanding 5*Indian feast from the amazing Pickle.❤️❤️
P.
Came in a group of 7. The waiter recommended the special which was a lamb curry which was delicious. So full of flavour. We had rice and naan bread for the table and it was all delicious. It was my first time here but I am already planning on a return trip.
N. P.
Pickle is possibly the finest indian restaurant in dublin!! Food is sumptuous and plentiful! Service is excellent, added to a friendly welcoming atmosphere....only problem is it's not a secret!!! So book early!!!
M. O.
Recommended by an Indian neighbour, at present we got take away,
I had Chicken Jalfrezi and my wife had Butter Chicken, great authentic tastes and flavours, most enjoyable, will "definitely" be returning for more.
P. C.
From Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India, comes the chef that had one mission - to bring the taste of authentic Indian cuisine to Dublin. Success!! The food is mouthwatering. Delicious.
A. W.
Fantastic meal. The butter chicken is the best I've tasted. Service was incredibly attentive. Only downside being we were seated too close to the door on a chilly day. Other than that, fantastic all round
K. C.
Amazing restaurant, and great food. You really do need to book if you would like to dine on the weekend they are very busy, and rightfully so.
However, some of the staff lack knowledge on the dishes. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend dining at Pickle.
A. R.
A very busy restaurant every night. Thats because the food is so good (not authentic exactly) with service, atmosphere and comfort to go with it. In a great location. My dishes were "to die for"(given the lack of olive oil) . Great value too. 5* recommendation. You go, you will enjoy.
G. S.
Heard very good things about this place and it always seems difficult to get a table when you want it. It is very crowded.
Ended up going for lunch, very small menu with 5 or 6 starters and curry or briyani for main. The food was good - but not as good as Jaipur used to be - service was pleasant but we were stuck in a busy corridor between the two main parts of the restaurant.
I'd like to try Pickle again in the evening to see if the food is better.
60 euro for lunch for two with starters, main course and several tumblers of lassi.
M. L.
Authentic North Indian food and smiley service. Advise booking as the place was full. I hear the Indian Ambassador eats there. Delicious tastes. Rather expensive for someone who lives in West London. Same supper would cost half the price. But thats Dublin. Tiffin lunch and early bird supper very good value.
R. H.
Great food, great staff, attention to detail
N. X.
Was definitely one of the best Indian food I have had in the recent past. The taste was authentic and I did feel for a blissful moment that I was physically in India. My wife loved it just as much and I am sure we will back soon.
J. F.
Been to Pickle a number of times and it is delicious! It is a bit on the pricey side, but the food is just mouth-wateringly good. I would recommend this for a date, work night, family dinner, etc. You won't be disappointed
S. B.
Very nice Indian food. Would be 5 🌟 but its pricey even for dublin's standards. That being said eveything is very tasty and if you get in before 6pm you can get 2 courses for 25 euros. Enjoyed the overall experience.
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
D. O.
The best Indian food ever! Great and cozy ambience. Friendly staff, principally the waitress Daniele, very attentive, pleasant and helpful. I really recommend this restaurant.
A. T.
Best restaurant in Dublin, hands down. Make a reservation if you can as it tends to fill up quickly!
The food is amazing, love all the different meat options they offer. Highly recommend stopping by if you can.
U. J. E.
guess this is the VERY BEST Indian restaurant you may ever find. Setting the benchmark. Gorgeous food, an absolute dream. Bravo!
A. K.
Great food, great service and friendly staff
A. K.
Great selection of Indian food. Food I ordered was fantastic and I'm not a big Indian dish fan. Lovely well designed restaurant with good vibe. Kitchen is fully visible to the rear with staff cooking up a storm.
E.
It was really good. Everyone told me before I went that it was the best food they'd had in Dublin so that's never a safe expectation to have. The butter chicken was delicious and they were packed to the brim on a Sunday night (this was back in March maybe). The bill was €160 for 4 of us - only 1 person had wine (2 glasses)
S. B.
This place was an absolute magical escape from the bland pub food we subjected ourselves to over the course of our trip. Absolutely the best Indian food either of us have ever had. We didn't have a reservation but they found a spot for us anyway. My fiancé had to call the manager over to thank him personally for the amazing experience. We just wish we didn't live thousands of miles away or we'd be back in a heartbeat.
C. O.
A return to Pickle and a welcome return to distinctive Indian cuisine. It can be hard to find Indian food with the right balance of heat, spice, textures and flavour in Ireland, but Pickle does really well with this. The service is alway friendly and attentive and waiters are knowledgeable about each dish. Only quibble is that the tables are very, very close together so it's a struggle to screen out the conversations from neighbouring tables.
M. C.
My friends with two small kids and I were at Pickle on a busy Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was packed but nevertheless the staff were so professional, friendly and helpful, though I must say the kids were quite active (still well-behaved). I rarely write reviews but this time I was so impressed with the service and they fully deserve a 5-star rating.
P. S.
A bit pricey, but isn't a page that comprises on authenticity and quality. Felt like home.
G. M.
So tasty. Pre-ordered takeaway from here on Monday. It was ready right on time. Every bite was delicious and the portion sizes are generous. Highly recommended.
M. S.
Great food and great staff. The restaurant is slightly more up market than a standard Indian, but not sure it fully justifies the price. However, for a rare treat I would recommend.
M. P.
Wow. This is some of the the most refined Indian food in Dublin. Expensive (not really expensive by Dublin prices) but utterly worth it.
I have eaten a lunch, early bird and on a Saturday evening always consistent and the service is faultless.
V. H.
The best Indian meal I have eaten anywhere in the world. I cannot rate this place highly enough. I would say it is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. A dining experience that will leave you wanting to go back again and again!
Tip: The potato cake starter is out of this world!
J. B.
This is a top restaurant. The food is consistently excellent and cooked to perfection with a lot of emphasis on detail and presentation and of course flavour. The prices are fair for the quality and preparation of the dishes and the excellent service. Therefore they justifiably can charge more than the average as the whole dining experience is far above average.
G. H.
The food is amazing and not too expensive , God service nice wine list .
A. A. T.
This was our third time here. We didn't have a reservation but the staff was helpful and gave us a table near the window. Great vegetarian options however their meat dishes are really amazing (according to my husband as I don't eat meat). Really love the vibe here and will definitely come back soon, with a reservation this time :-)
S.
Quite popular among the locals and local Indian and Pakistani community. The rice is included with the curry. They have adapted the cuisine well to the local taste to make is less spicy. The breads (naan) especially the Peshawar naan is quite popular. It is sweet though, just so that you know. The serving size is decent...good enough for one person with a good diet.
J. T.
Could rave about this place more. Great atmosphere but the highlight is the food - authentic, delicious and made to your tastes. Arguably best Indian in Dublin
J. M.
Food was amazing. We rocked up without a reservation and they seated us as we were going to be in and out quickly. Staff were a bit nervous (maybe inexperienced). Higher prices than I would normally pay for Indian food but then the food was of a very high standard. Will be going back.
W. C.
I thoroughly enjoyed the food, as did the friends I went with. The price tag is hefty for a meal, but there is a reason the chef has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2018.
I ordered the hot version of the Jaipuri Laal Maas, and while it did leave me sniffling, it did not detract from the flavour of the food at all.
T. R.
One of the nicest Indian's i've eaten in for a very long time. I always go for the Korma when I try a new indian so I have a baseline for quality, and boy Pickle have set a new bar. It was creamy but light, tender chicken and really tasty rice! I also had the Lamb to start and it was lovely and really spicy! The staff are great and the place looks great to.
A. S. M.
The food was very good overall. The meats were well done and very flavorful, the way you'd expect from a good Indian restaurant. "Chaat ki Rehdi" was really good. Dal Makhni was mind blowing considering this wasn't a restaurant in Delhi. Service could be quicker and better. No one asked about drinks, and even took time to take the order for drinks after repeatedly asking. Food took a long time to come. Addtional Assorted Bread never came. Gulab Jamun was a let down with so much of rose or some syrup poured on, which actually spoilt the taste. Also disappointed that not much Indian dessert options actually. One star less for the service and dessert.
J. M.
A wonderful experience, we tried the tasting menu with wine pairing, and I can say whole heartedly they are not stingey on either part of the menu. The goat curry was a highlight of the tasting for me .. In saying that I don't know how people would pick just one dish when every one on the tasting was go enjoyable
B. J.
I went with a friend from India, and he said the food is great. I agree.
Update (Mar 2019): On another visit to Dublin, I brought another Indian friend for dinner. He thought the food was great. And I still agree. The owner and staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly.
We enjoyed Chaat Ki Rehdi (for two), Nathuram’s Choley Bhature (served in a Japanese bento box!), Dal Bukhara, Subz Kofta Makhan Wala, and finished with Mem Sahab’s Mess. The Dal is good, but very creamy and rich. All the dishes were cooked and seasoned traditionally (according to my Indian friend), but each had a fusion twist which really worked well. Chef Sunil is a master.
G. B.
I have tried sampling of Food all over World 🌍 Pickle is a truly Magnificent Experience when it comes to Beautiful Indian Flavours, the minute you walk through the door you are greeted with wonderful Smiling Staff and the place is so Funky and classy inside it makes you feel excited. I had lamb shank, a mix grill, a beautiful desert all the flavors used were truly astonishing. I highly recommended Pickle if u want try Indian food on A very Top Level at perfect Prices
A. R.
One of the best Indian food places in Dublin. I find their lunch deals to be the best way to dine at this place! Dinner is €€€€!! Limited veg options in lunch deals, but worth a visit!
A. A.
I celebrated my 20th birthday in this restaurant. The food was absolutely delightful, very tasty. The ambiance was cosy and intimate and the waiters were so nice! I would definitely recommend this place.
s. f.
Ate here with my girlfriend for the first time last night. Was amazing from start to finish. The food was spot on, amazing flavors, presentation and huge portions. Got the broccoli and cottage cheese starter to try something new and it was defdefinit worth the risk.
If you like your indian this place takes it to the next level
T. R.
Amazing food. Had to ask for plastic cutlery and cups as was dining outdoors, staff reluctant to provide it....
X. C.
The starter samosa has been served with a great dip. Other dishes not impressive, I went in with a group and we had lots of curry, pancakes. I love the Indian pancakes but I feel not so happy when I read my bill...
A. V.
Best Indian restaurant I’ve been to Ireland for sure. A little pricey for the portions you get but definitely worth it. Service was absolutely spot on.
A. M.
Elegantly fitted out in a in a retro-styled mix of traditional Western ambience (cottage/pub-like seating etc) in conjunction with traditional Indian serving dishes (Baltis etc). Authentic extensively variegated Indian menu, good intelligent servers - and service - and the place is buzzing with bookings on a Tuesday evening!
Unfortunately however for THIS Indian palate, the food did not entirely succeed in evoking fond memories of mother's home-cooked desi dishes, mostly due to some elements of spices being slightly in excess (Jeera) whilst others were unnecessarily in restraint. But that's a very personal reaction indeed and the proprietors must be commended for making excellent strides in creating a serious Indian restaurant without any of the flamboyant 'fusion' styled cuisine currently so popular in many Indian eatery establishments in the UK. Indian spices do NOT - IMHO - lend themselves well to 'blending' with cuisines from milder climes. And it takes nothing short of a Maestro to combine them with Thai or Chinese styled dishes. So it's imperative that a + 2000 year old culinary tradition remain within its own well tried and trusted bounds.
P. T.
Delicious products, creative and flavorful dishes served by a personable and attentive staff. The decor is elegant - New York bistro with just enough touch of India without getting into something tacky. My new preferred indian restaurant in Dublin / Ireland - by far!
P. O.
The food at dine is just too good...every bite has a flavour...must try dal bukhara butter chicken , panner makhanwala.....but recently I order a take away Panner makhanwala and dal bukhara ....panner was just too good but the dal bukhara was a bit disappointing 😕
E. M.
The food was very good but the atmosphere was lacking. Most Indian restaurants give popadom and chutneys after ordering but here you have to pay. Also we asked for a 7.30 reservation (a week in advance) and were told the only table was free at 8:30, not a problem. But then I range at 7:30 to check if we could by any chance move the reservation forward a bit and I was told it wasn't possible. We arrived at 8:20 and the restaurant was half empty, apparently because of cancellations. I'd recommend the restaurant to ring their customers who have reserved if 50% of people don't turn up for reservations so you can free some tables up and not have people aimlessly waiting.
J. M.
Absolutely exceptional- what a true gem on Camden Street. This place is outstanding- a must try if you like flavorful food! We went for a second time recently, and it was better than the first.
D. R.
One of my favourite ever restaurants. Such incredible food and very attentive staff. Not the cheapest menu but perfectly reasonable for what you get.
S. M.
Top class food and service. Will be back
W. R. R.
Delicious!!!
That was my first time in a Indian restaurant. Bang on! I couldn't have picked a best option, so full of flavour and great staff.
We had:
Chicken wings - starter
Bhopali Lamb - main
Chicken pulao (Biryani) - main
Kesari Kulfi Falooda - desert
Raspberry sorbet - desert
What a great surprise Kesari Kulfi, so fresh and delicious.
I highly recommend and we'll be back
D. K.
My husband and I had a table booked for Sunday night. The food and service was fantastic. Unfortunately I'm on crutches at the moment so there was no way I could manage stairs to use the loo's. If the wine was a little more reasonable id give Pickle 5 stars
S. P.
Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner. Really good food and amazing service. My wife had a hard time deciding what to eat. Too many delicious choices and only one stomach. She settled for the vegetarian Thali, which had a selection of curries, rice and naan. There wasn't a meat Thali option on the menu, but she asked the waiter if we could also have a meat non vegetarian version and much to my surprise he said yes!! My wife's favourite condiments is Paratha, a layered chapati style bread, not on the menu, but again the waiter said they'd make it!! The food was good, plenty of flavour not to hot. The non veg versions had prawns, lamb, a really good buttered chicken and lentils, the veg version had five others lentils, spinach, paneer and other stuff. Oh, nearly forgot Thali come with their own starter. We were stuffed. Definitely going back again.
H. S.
Just shockingly delicious. I'm vegan, and while Indian restaurants often have a good chunk of veggie options, the food was just astounding.
Get the potato cakes; you will not be disappointed. I'm here for work for a week, and the potato cakes made me text my wife back home to say there are no two ways about it: if we are ever in Dublin together, we _must_ go to Pickle!
D. D.
I have never experienced Indian food like it , I don’t ever recall experience ing so many different flavours in a meal , every setting starters mains and dessert i would give 10 out of 10, , a totally new experience for me , I would highly recommend it to any one who likes good food
D. L.
This place is ridiculous.
I really can’t emphasize how great the food is here. One of the reviews on here suggested getting the potato cakes and whomever that was thank you.
If you can make it here just do yourself a favor and come. We didn’t have reservations but luckily they were able to fit us in.
Great food. Great service.
J. S.
Best Indian in Dublin - staff are absolutely lovely and the early bird menu is amazing!! Get the butter chicken - it’s exceptional. The duck starter is fab, and the prawn dish on the early bird is whopper.
J. M. a. t.
Best Indian restaurant in Dublin by quite a margin. Sure, it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for and it’s only around 15% more than somewhere mediocre. It has a bon rapport qualité prix, as the French say.
U. S.
Eight of us turned up here on St. Patrick's day. We were given the Chefs table right next to the kitchen. Everything we ordered was superb. All the food was delicious. I couldn't fault a single dish. From the mixed poppadoms with the prawn pickle, the crispy prawns, chicken Biriyani to the Chicken korma ....and especially the falooda dessert all perfecto!
Worked out around €40 per head without drinks. Pricey for some but well worth the money....it's times like this when the saying "you pay for what you get" comes true. A whole new level of Indian food.
B.
Lovely food and great service. Wing starter was tops.
Maybe a bit on the pricey side but all in all a great meal.
S. B.
Great Indian. Slipped in at 5pm. Otherwise book well in advance!
j. m.
My husband and I popped in for lunch on a whim one day in Dublin and wouldn't be satisfied until we'd returned for dinner, which we did a few weeks ago. I was concerned because I was doing well with Slimming World (timing, Jenny!) and mentioned this to the waiter in a mortified undertone. He simply said 'leave it to me' and, in consultation with the amazingly talented chef, chose a starter, main and accompaniments for me. I'd never really liked lentils - dahl - but these were so moreish, zingy and satisfying that I'm a Big Lentil Fan now. My husband couldn't keep his fork off my plate!
Everything was so delicious, tasty and with layers of flavour and heat. The food was so delicately presented. Really, there's no end to what that chef can do. Each course was a treat for the eye and the palate - and the shrinking waistline!
I cast a greedy eye onto my husband's Kulfi but only stole a bite or two. How's that for virtuous? Highly recommended for lunch or dinner.
G. G.
Decent posh indian fare. Not my kind of indian food, but all in all was not bad. Giving it 3 stars because the lamb chops were ridiculously spicy and as an jndian food snob, i have certainly enjoyed a good few vindaloos and phals. Somehow the level of spice in the chops were beyond thd threshold at which i enjoy food and there was no mention on the menu. Perhaps a heavy handed chef?
A. A.
the food is brilliant !
it's so clear how involved and enthusiastic the waiters and the chiefs are, i absolutely LOVED it
it shows how much they care about the flavour and textures of the dishes 😍
and the prices aren't very hugh 24 € per meal including a starter and a main
M. R.
Lovely experience at pickle. Good food and friendly service 👌
D. O.
Once the meal was served the service was poor with no follow up for water etc. We were waiting 10 minutes to order more wine! The food was absolutely amazing, top class for all 5 of us. Sunil needs to sort the service to make the overall experience special.. A lovely restaurant with fantastic food.
P. D.
Great Indian food. One thing, they have an online reservation system which asks for your credit card details (In case of no-shows). If you don't complete the full reservation with CC, then your booking is not confirmed.
M. C.
Excellent
Authentic fresh spices...so no need to ask if you like your curry mild, medium or hot..its just perfect. The scallops to die for. ...
N. L.
Wonderfully thought out and well prepared meals as well as a friendly and attentive staff- combined with more than reasonable prices makes this a place I am sure to visit again. Good for meat eaters as well as vegetarians.
D. L.
This place was unfortunately a bit of a disappointment, having been looking forward to it for months.
I went for the Guinea Fowl for the main and the Kesari Kulfi Falooda for dessert. The fowl was unfortunately quite bland and tasteless. The dessert however was good though fairly unusual, consisting mainly of vermicelli noodles. For the price I was expecting something stellar but I suppose that’s partly my fault.
I’d recommend avoiding the fowl if you’re going to try Pickle in the near future
J. M.
Love this place!! Food is amazing and staff are super friendly! Delicious Indian food in a lovely setting, definitely recommend!
A. B.
Best Indian I've ever had
C. O.
Pricy compared to most Indians in Dublin, but the originality and stunning use of flavours make it well worth it. The early bird is very good value.
A. G. N.
Excellent, best Indian here in Dublin. Is very hard to order for delivery, you need to do it in advance with plenty of time (4 hours or so)
G. K.
Food a bit bland could do with more options as would help with presentation and taste.
I had the porridge can't go too wrong there. Expected more toppings.
Friend had the pancakes 🥞 which were quite dry and didn't help that there was no yogurt or v little liquid to give them more flavor.
C. H.
Loved it! Work lunch with a diverse group incl people with multiple food allergies. Everyone was very complimentary - food was delicious, atmosphere was cosy and relaxing, and the service was efficient and friendly. We'll be back!
C. P.
Have wanted to try Pickle for a while and wasn't disappointed. The food here is fantastic - on the pricier end but full of flavour. Highly recommend the potato cakes and Bhopali slow cooked lamb.
B. O. F.
Amazing food, one of the best meals I ever had . All the dishes were beautifully presented and so delicious. Service was friendly. Will definitely be back
E. M.
Food is beautiful presented and all the food has authentic tastes. A la carte is expensive, if you're on a budget check out their early bird. Either option is well worth the visit
N.
The food here is amazing. Relatively pricey but they do a great early bird deal. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are always so nice
G. G.
An innovative Indian restaurant that serves up a different take on food from the subcontinent.
You won't find the usual Chicken Tikka Masala on the menu, but that's a good thing.
Just watch out that you don't sit too close to the front door (too cold) or to the kitchen (too hot)
J. S.
Delicious food, wonderful staff.
C. S.
Authentic Indian Restaurant ,
Good taste as you get in India . Take away available in current situation of COVID ..
J. K.
Extremely good Indian food. The menu is very diverse, and presented in modern ways. Would recommend.
J. M. E.
The Pickle does not disappoint, with invariably top-notch (North) Indian fare delivered.
L. W.
A year ago I said "Wonderful flavours and excellent service, definitely be back." Last couple of times we have been the food was good but not amazing. Feels like something has changed, not just the menu.
J. T. V.
We went as a group of 4 and all had the chef's tasting menu- we stayed three hours, ate amazing and unusual food and had a fantastic time :) great value for the quality and quantity of dishes we had.
Highly recommend!!
h. R.
Fantastic indian food but make sure you reserve before you go as they are always booked out! The biryani is amazing!! Great customer service too.
R. R. G.
The ambience and staff was so good that I loved staying at the restaurant for longer time . Coming to food , chole bature was really tasty and worth but found starters to be a bit expensive with less quantity in it .
R. F.
One of the best Indian Restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to go. If you're ever in Dublin and into Indian food you must give it a go.
C. G.
Food was very nice but there wasn't a huge selection available. I really liked the lassi and my meal was nice but my wife wasn't overly impressed with her meal.
L. R.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Quick service

Realy enjoyed kid goat curry and tandoori chicken. Rice and naan perfect.
The only down point is one of the chefs big coagh and forgot to wash hands.
J. M.
The best curry I've ever had. Will be back. The waiters walk you through the menu and guide on portion control.
S. C.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin. ..staff, food and environment was amazing! Strongly recommended to visit and I am looking forward to go back again. .!

Moderne Indian food. New twist on familiar dishes. Beautiful setting and attentive staff. Reservations recomended. Good for groups or table for 2.
V. N.
Reservations required for dinner. Worth the price premium. Saag paneer, lamb shank, veg korma were all great. Gulab jamun and kulfi for dessert were spot on.
T. 1.
The service is wonderful. The food is flawless. You need to eat here, I can't praise it enough.
M. M.
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Dublin right now. Marvellous choice on the menu, wonderful food and good service. What's not to like.
S. S.
Sheek kebab on lentils to die for and an achari lamb shank ... Never had this before, tons of meat, very tender. Sauce. I don't know what to say, very good. It is pricey, but on this occasion I think it was top class, you get what you pay for. If you want low cost try someplace else.
P. D.
A great variety of dishes and everything I've tried so far has been lovely. The staff are very good and extremely efficient too.
T. O.
The best Indian restaurant I've been to in a long time. Really surprised at the variety and modern twist to each of the small bite dishes we tried.

Absolutely incredible food, stellar service, and a memorable experience for my wife and I on our honeymoon. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Dublin. 👍🏼

My wife and I recently moved to Dublin form Australia. When we went to Pickle and began to eat, my wife looked at me and said, "What the hell has bee masquerading as Indian food our entire lives." This place is the real deal. Never had better!
L. B.
Sunil was head chef in Ananda and Benny was the manager there, they left to start Pickle and the result is the best Indian in Dublin, the priority is flavors and they will knock you out.
My current favorites are the Pork Spare Ribs and the Kid Goat Mince Curry.
P. D.
Recently stepped in to Pickle restaurant, Sunday lunch, food is SO delicious, nice comfortable surroundings, & staff are helpful & friendly, seems a lot of the people there are regulars as the staff knew them well, definitely will go back & would recommend highly 👍 really good Indian food

A lot of hype, above average food, average service, way over priced.
A definite meh. How they got a Michelin star, I don't know.
K. P.
nice ambiance, we tied there lunch express menu and food curries flavor was good, but disappointed with Chai Tea we order. was hopping for real Indian Chai Tea, and they just give machine made tea bag chai.

Great Indian food, good atmosphere (crowded and noisy on this Thirsday), just wine (no beer or cider). Fair price (30€pp) regarding the high quality.

Well, I don't know how fair I can be because this not the first time I had food which I ordered. I can tell one thing is that you won't be disappointed but neither something special for a restaurant recommended by Michelin.
