As a lebanese, this is till now the best restaurant is Dublin.
We had them delivered to the house.
Hummus was great, the grilled kabab was excellent, shawarma great , grilled chicken good but can be better.
Fattouch was delicious! Cant wait to try the tabbouleh next time.
I still can't find the authentic garlic dip in any restaurant in Dublin, I wish you can change this to the real '' Toum '' :)
M. M.
Very nice food and cozy place to have dinner, the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly!
I recomend this restaurant 100%, they have the best Shawarma in Dublin!
Thank you Rotana for an amazing experience.
L. T.
Really tasty food, the best middle eastern food in Dublin without a doubt. Ordered the halloumi sandwich and warak inab (vine leaves) today. My Palestinian partner ordered the Palestinian sandwich and said it reminded him of home.
A. K.
What a feast we had. The food was perfect. Had the okra as the main and it was brilliant. Coffee and baklava also. BYOB restaurant. Highly recommended. Lovely ppl as well!
G. G.
I can't recommend this place enough! Beautiful dishes, authentic coffee, amazing falafels! Absolutely a place that you must see, taste and experience!
F. D.
Had the mezze falafel plate. Was gorgeous. Nice falafel balls, hummus, Baba ganouj and other nice things. Was served with freshly baked Lebanese bread and tabouleh salad. Everything was really fresh and tasty. Reasonable price. Highly recommended
k. s.
Excellent variety on the menu. We had the mezze and chicken miwash which both came to a mere 30 euros. It's byob as well !
The mezze especially is excellent with lots of dips, falafel, salad and a bread basket. Could've been a meal between two. The other dish was really nice as well but dull in comparison to the mezze. Authentic ambiance and friendly service. Excellent value for money and good ingredients, which is KEY for a city like Dublin.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Staff were very friendly and accommodated us even when we ran a little late. The setting is cosy and has a family-run vibe. Food could not be faulted. It was tasty, served quickly, beautifully cooked and great portion sizes. We went for the set menu (2 courses for 22.95) and we were stuffed! They are a BYOB (wine only) restaurant and they don't charge corkage. There's a spar just down the street with a nice selection and good prices. Between the set menu and the BYOB, this place was unbeatable for price and quality. We'll be making it a regular!
N. D.
Excellent, very tasty & very friendly staff. We had a meal there for 10 recently and it was a great choice.
G. M.
Had a delicious dinner here recently. Great value, food was perfect and excellent service. Would recommend and will be back soon ☺️
L. G.
Always a favourite, close enough to the centre to be easy to reach but far enough to be a nice quiet place for a catch up with friends. Staff is always very helpful and accommodating, I've been coming here on and off for years and it never disappoints!
a. a.
Food coma; a worthwhile trip for an exquisite experience. Starters to desserts were delicious and their portions were amazing.
I know where I'm having my next Sulaimani and Shisha followed by a delicious meal!
B. B.
Had a great experience here. We had the falafel to start and then shared the mixed grill. It was a lot of food--great value--but more importantly, it was delicious! The falafel was among the best I've ever had, and i've had a lot of falafel. Good service and lovely casual atmosphere.
M. A.
Very great people very great food. I ordered the chicken tawook plate and the chicken tawook sandwich both were really good definitely recommend to anyone. They also have a selection of sweets and hot and cold drinks. There is also sheesha available. I had a nice conversation with the waiter about the city and where to go for good sight seeing. Great atmosphere!
P. G.
Excellent! Fresh ingredients, very tasty but nothing over-seasoned, fine taste. Attentive, friendly and competent waiter.
E. H.
A cosy spot with wonderfully colourful food! The falafel are tasty and the fattat dajaj I had after had wonderfully moist chicken combined, crispy bread and nuts, and a tangy yoghurt sauce. The early bird is really good value, and the staff were super friendly, and the baklava with the bill was the cherry on top!
J. C.
Great Lebanese restaurant. Plenty of ethnic Lebanese customers which is a good marker of authenticity. A good Ayran (trad buttermilk) drink is available.
It was really busy inside, and they seem to provide an enormous amount of home deliveries. The waiter/owner was apologetic for delay, but everything was fine.
Lamb köfte was great...prices good.
A. K.
The chicken maklooba with rice and aubergine was very nice. Good recommendation from Ali the waiter and good service. 25 Euro for filling meal and a tasty fresh lemonade drink.
L. G.
This restaurant never disappoints! The food so so tasty, clean and fresh. The smoked aubergine purée starter (MOUTABAL AUBERGINE) with bread was beautiful. Then we had two of the Lebanese Chef Specials for our mains: Chicken Mishwe and lamb Kobbeh Labanieh with lovely dressings and salad. They were fabulous. The bill came to €45 and we greatly enjoyed our BYOB with no corkage charge. 10/10. Will be back again soon.
S.
I had an average experience. The serving size is huge. I was not able to finish my bread. The disappointment was some non edible particles from the stove which made their way into the bread probably as it was being baked.
L. O. B.
Staff lovely. Nice atmosphere. Mezze and starters were very good. The vegetarian mains weren't fab tbh.
M. K.
Lovely food . Real taste of meat . Only I think should have more range of soup . Highly recommended
K. S.
Nice sheesha !!! And it can be cheaper if you order with some food ...waiter/manager there was really nice to suggest us some veg options ...and they were really good ...specially sheesha and smoothie ...we tried Lebanese special expresao which was good as well !!!
R. E.
Great, authentic Lebanese food! I love how they do dishes that you can find in barely any other Middle Eastern restaurants. The takeaway sandwiches are also class!
Z. R.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I found them through an article on restaurants that offer corkage, which is free** with a set menu. The food is AMAZING and set menus for dinner time are only €21.90 PP...
The food is authentic and the atmosphere is just beautiful. The service is amazing, even with a busy evening the host was very attentive and had great attention to detail.
After dinner we had shisha outside with delicious deserts, tea and coffee, the perfect compliment to a wonderful evening.
I am elated we discovered this place and this will definitely be a regular of ours.
**it's also on a 24hr bus route (15)
P. N.
One of the usual places me and my friends used to hang out. Amazing food, ambience and service. They also have sheesha, but can only smoke outside. You can also bring your own wine. The staffs are friendly. Ambience is much nicer for dinner.
A. M.
Not really my kinda food but pretty good
D. K.
Place to be if you are looking for flavours and colours. Very close to Hilton. Had dinner with my colleagues and they were very happy with the taste and quality of the food. Manager was happy to accommodate few alterations as per dietary needs. Could serve more variety of desserts. Don't miss the potato harah and chicken strips
G. P.
Staff: 6 stars!
Food: 5 stars.
Prices: 4 stars.
Not only the staff was super-kind to let us in early because the Google Maps had wrong times, but they treated us well and saw off with sweet gifts.
The food is good, on the same level as Cedar Tree and Damascus Gate, but is maybe tiny bit more pricey.
It is also baby-friendly, nicely decorated and clean.
Will definitely go there again.
S. M.
Had the sharing platter for 2. Great portion and very tasty
A. O.
Oriental hospitality and delicious food,
Ps nice price
A. T.
Very good selection of dishes including vegetarian options. The meal in itself was enjoyable and the service was all right. The mint tea was a disappointment though as it was just a java tea bag and I was expecting actual mint leaves. Decent spot all in all. Average of €30 per person for five of us.
S. D.
Delicious. If you're looking for something that makes you feel like you're on holidays.... Choose this. Great quality. Great portions. Great service. Order direct on their app too.
d. a.
First time dinner tonight at Rotana and we are happy, full and most importantly not broke 🤣 The portions are more on the big size, staff was lovely ( we had a few extra wishes) and the prize is absolutely fantastic for what you get. Recommended!
J. E.
Had two starters and mains from the early bird menu. Potatoes for starter weren't crispy as I expected but very tasty none the less. Falafel was great. Mains were very tasty and food was cooked really well. We asked for an extra chips and they didn't charge :) plenty of food in a starter and main. Will definitely try again.
O. P.
Great food and huge portions. Also the only place in Dublin I know which has real shisha.
J. F.
This is the best lebanese restaurant in Dublin. If you are new to lebanese food I recommend you try the vegetarian mousakka, lentil soup, orka and falafel dishes and many more. Once you try these dishes you will not be able to get enough.
A. C.
It is a very nice place near Dublin's city centre, 5 minutes from the luas stop.
The place has a little entrance and it isn't so big inside, but it's enough for small groups and little companies.
The food is traditional Arabic food... that is very very good in all the courses.
only the desserts are a little too elaborated and heavy to digest.
hope to come back once.
R. A.
Really good food, especially the manakeesh! Super friendly staff and good pricing.
A. M.
I only had a coffee but the staff were friendly
A. B.
Ordered a takeaway from here recently, got the Mezze Rotana and it was bleedin' delicious! Thought I had died and gone to heaven. Really nice food, good value for the amount they give you. The tabouleh is amazing, PUT IT ON EVERYTHING.
A. M.
I just had a lovely dinner with my friends! We ordered one of the Mezze and it was just amazing! Plenty of food for four of us and super tasty.
We also got the Mix Grill for sharing and was everything well cooked.
I'd definitely recommend this place and I'm looking forward to go back there again.
A. N. S.
Excellent location in Dublin south. And what's more? Delicious food, cozy restaurant with some great music and friendly staff. Also, byob! Which is fantastic. You can carry your own bottle of wine with set dinner. Had a great time!
F. S.
Very delicious food from the Lebanon. Even though I am the the the first one to come food is ready very fast and the tast is great!
The staff is very friendly too and gives you a welcome feeling! Perfect tip for weekend lunch around 12. Very quiet and almost for yourself;)
A. C.
Having been in Lebanon many times, I can only give 3 star. Food was ok, staff were very nice though. Bring your own alcohol. I've tasted better Lebanese food, but restaurant is cosy.
G. C.
Fantastic food, highly recommended.
Sitting in, it is a nice atmosphere and very friendly. The also do takeaway and there is no drop in standard. I always come here when visiting Dublin, I would advise you to do the same.
O. A.
Great food. Even the desserts were made fresh in house.
J. L.
Small and cozy place. The stuff was really friendly. The prices were average, around 18 euro for a meal. You can get a nice deal for above 17e with main dish and starter. I got chorcoal grilled minced lamb with chips and salad, and as there was 3 of us sharing the tapas we got more than 3. I wasnt the fan of the main although I still think it is something worth to try because of being different from the usual stuff I have. I absolutelly felt in love with starters. I will definitely come back for more of these. They dont sell wine but you can bring your own. REALLY RECOMMEND IT.
S. K.
Authentic Leb resteraunt with great menu ,friendly staff and reasonably priced.
V. H.
Rotana offers a wonderful Lebanese eating experience at an excellent price point. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and they are really well set up to cater for a big group. Their meze if not to be missed providing a taste sensation and transporting your taste buds to the Middle East. They also do a BYOB service for wine which is free if you are having two courses. This makes a night in Rotana excellent value for money.
Tips -
Make sure to try their wide selection of Baklava.
Make sure to book in advance to guarantee a seat in this busy restaurant.
Don't forget your wine!
C. H.
I went here with my girlfriend for her birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We had pastries with feta cheese and also with lamb for starters. Then we had beautifully cooked Chicken Mishwe and Shish Taouk for the main. It was €20.95 each for the the two courses, great value! We also got some Baklava to go for dessert, so tasty! I think we've found our new favourite spot, will definitely be going back as there was loads of other things we want to try on the menu!
R. Z.
If i had to rate their meat and chicken itd be one star
I am giving the starters/cold dishes 4 stars
The mezza plate is the greatest thing in this cafe tho its expensive for what its ngl
I usually order a plate of mezza and its around €18 i mean for a starter for one person its quite expensive.
Their rice is decent, kebab is bad and chicken tastes rotten.
Overall; decent place if you're looking for salads/brunch type of food.
D. O.
Pleasant servers and hard working chefs on a hip street. Nice busy atmosphere with perfect lighting. BYO wine. No alcohol otherwise. Meat and veg are tastier than the thin plain flat bread. Menu is a long book of options. Stylish smokers of huka dawn the sidewalk patio.
C. R.
Great food and great athmosphere. We did not book but they accomodated us without any issue despite being full. Food is fresh and good. We had the mezze platters and the mixed grills. Really enjoyed it overall. We could not finish and took the remains home.
T. M.
The best restaurant I had visited in Dublin! Food is lovely and also the ambient and waitress! She's very attentive and did everything with a smile on her face. I'll be back in my next trip!
A. J.
Excellent place, nice food and wonderful staff ( Obrigado )
J. H.
Pleasant, food very authentic. Staff and service very good, there were 20 of us and they worked well around that. Takeaway drivers constantly in and out, not ideal
Y. K.
Nice staff and great food 👍
P. A.
Exquisite. Wonderful food!
M. L.
Nice and quiet place to enjoy some good hummus. Try the mezze if you are not sure about your dinner plans. You can also bring your best bottle of wine if you like.
s. h.
The food could have tasted better if only it was served hot .. the food kept waiting at the kitchen counter to be collected and brought to us . . It took forever to come .. children started getting tired and they wanted to leave .
Very poor service ..
just one helper cleaning, serving, writting orders , running in and out for the delivery guy .. bill payements and what not.
W. H.
Fake Lebanese. Food not too bad. Nice proprietor.
E. P.
I've been ordering delivery food from this place for a long time, best Lebanese food I had in Dublin.
I've visited the cafe in person once, the food in the cafe was not as good as the food they usually deliver, and some of my favorite options that are available for delivery were not even on the menu (although, were available on request).
R. A.
nice place to meet friends. food is clean and tasty.
the chef is a lovely guy. the staf is very friendly. when crouded tends to be noisy sometimes.. depending on how loud the costumers can get.
B. K.
Herself said they were the best falafels in town. The mixed kofta is key! Probably the best restaurant in its price range and type in Dublin
P. S. S.
Great place, great food. My wife and I had the Mezze Two and the Double Kafta. Really good
K. N.
Really nice food, just wish there was more of it, which says a lot about the food! Slightly understaffed, but they did well to handle all the parties going on around us!
G. S.
A strange mix between a takeout and a restaurant with lackluster food. Service was good, the food was just ok. Really a bit bland with a lack of authentic Lebanese that one would expect for the price of the food.
A. E.
Nice place. Delicious food 😋.
Good price for service. Good value.
Nice menu.
T. O.
I went here last Friday night with a big group of people and I was not disappointed! Really good lebanese food (not one of us was disappointed) and very easy to get a table which isn't a simple task on Camden st / Richmond st on a Friday night
C. C.
I've been eating here and ordering here for years it's so good! My husband and I always get the mezze rotana to share for dinner, it's delicious and plenty of food.
A. O.
Can never fault this restaurant. Great quality food, good service and decent prices.
M. M.
Very good food. I had lamb kofta, halloumi, hummus, olives, all kinds of standards that were very well executed. Will mark as a place to return to. Service was discrete and competent.
A. V.

Good coffee.

O. R.
This is a simple neighbour hood Lebanese restaurant. It's great home made type of classic Lebanese dishes from chicken shawarma to lamb tangine, grilled haloumi to hummous. Bring your bottle of red! Or buy some at the corner pub as it doesn't serve alcohol but happily lets you have some without extra charge.
M. G.
