Lovely food, great ambience, nice selection of food and drinks, brilliant service from staff and well-priced food for Dublin.

Saba is a super spot. Just go and see for yourself. So close to city centre and high end classy, with great value food and drinks. Brilliant well trained, customer focused staff. Keep up the good work folks.
Edit: Nov2021 Just reopened at a Fab new venue on South William St. See photos.

We had a fantastic celebration meal here for a graduation. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Always a positive experience eating in Saba.

Brilliant!
Professional and friendly staff, great menu with delicious food! Due to current restrictions (online outdoor dinning) we reserved a spot and were set up cosy with provided heaters.
Service was really good and food as mentioned already - delicious! Stop by and try their Duck rolls and Crispy chilly chicken!

Amazing food and ambience. Good service and polite people. The chicken wings were tender and delectable and the fried rice was just heavenly with the fried egg on top. The price is a bit on the expensive side but they have a lunch deal involving a starter and a main course which was enough for me. I took one star away because it is kinda embarrassing in my opinion if the waiter asks if you want to give a tip or not. I think this is best left to the consumers.

We had dinner here on our first night in Dublin and we were very pleased with the food as well as the service. When we initially walked in there was a table available tucked all the way at the back but the server told us that if a closer table opened up she would move us. However from previous experiences, we figured they would just forget about us back there. Contrary to our belief, a table opened up closer to the bar and we were moved right before our meals arrived. The food was delicious! I ordered a Chicken Pad Thai and I was very happy with my decision. I was also impressed that the food was brought out within 10 mins of ordering which is never the case in Toronto where we are from. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend this place for other outings. Might seem strange to have Thai food in Ireland but we really enjoyed ourselves and recommended it to a friend of ours that was visiting a week later and she was also very happy with her experience.

I loved it, we loved it... I have been in Thailand 5 times, and founding almost same taste at another part of the world is amazing. One constructive feedback from me, I would love to see more Orchids around and incense sticks to create the same atmosphere, on the other hand everything was fabulous... hope to see u again guys

I'm a recent convert to Thai food and Saba was part of the conversion. The food is done to a very high standard. I can recommend the scallops to start and the duck for the main course. The place is quite large but as there are a number of different areas it retains a more intimate feel. The table staff are very attentive and friendly. Prices are not cheap but reasonable for this part of town. It's in a great location with a lot of pubs and bars nearby if you want a drink afterwards.

Good food...the sake cocktail was very refreshing

Great, flavoursome food, accompanied by attentive service. Dark and Moody vibe, and fairly busy even on a Sunday evening. The spicy options could do with some more spice though.
W. F. M.
Setting and service was good. We had lobster but the price was high for the size of the lobster. Also, the meat was made in a way that caused it to be really dry.

Very good thai food, not as authentic as the food in Thailand but as close as you'll get in Dublin. My only complaint was it was so dark inside that we had to put the lights on our mobile phones to read the menu (and we have good eyes!). Otherwise I'll be back.

Wonderful! Being a vegan traveler can be a challenge, but Saba was wonderful, from the greeter walking me through the menu, to the attentive, personable server, to the amazing tasty, satisfying food! I had the Phad Prik Sod with vegetables and tofu. It was marked as medium spice level. Being from Southern California, where Mexican spice levels can be quite high, I found it to be low spice, but still quite enjoyable. Thank you Saba, for a wonderful Dublin experience!
P. B.
Good friendly staff, dark and noisy environment, kinda mediocre food, cocktails are way too heavy on the lime juice and it crowds out the other flavours.

We just had a superb meal at Saba in Dublin, we had a big group of eight people but space was found in the very busy restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff looked after us really well.

The staff are lovely, especially Anna in the South William Street restaurant. Really helpful when I had a 3rd party delivery issue. Amazing food too!

Wow, wow and wow, great ambience, helpful staff and amazing food. The restaurant was packed when we arrived however we were quickly served. They have a vast drink list, I chose a mocktail, the blue moon which is with blueberries and ginger and tastes great. The caveman vegetable curry was listed as mild in the menu, it was slightly hot for my taste but adding rice to it was OK.

Good Thai restaurant!
After 3 month they finally open again!
Overall good experience Tasty food, good service

This restaurant has been around for years and is an excellent option to recommend to anyone looking for a lively setting for dinner. The menu is interesting and tasty, the drinks and cocktail selection excellent and the front of house and waiting staff very good. The owner, Paul, is also a gentleman with an excellent customer service ethos.

Went here with a group of 10 on a Saturday night.. needless to say the place was very busy..there was a lot of happy faces when you walk in which is sometimes a good sign the food is nice and place is run well..table was ready and waiting.. menus given immediately and our waiter was friendly and prompt with anything we ordered and asked for..a selection of starters was given to the table which were devoured with haste..mains were tasteful enough but dessert selection was a bit sparse and on the night not that tasty.. because of the openness of the restaurant it was quite noisy and hard to hear people talking next to you...but overall an enjoyable evening..worth another visit

Very good dining experience. Greeted by a very good staff member but we were dealt by another waiter who wasn’t look happy and approachable, he behaved very annoyed (Dont want to mention him). Ordered Haik in banana leaf and Food was 7/10

Tasty, fresh, exotic food! We had an amazing dinner here with my colleagues and none of us have left without a smile. Especially, starters were so good. Since we were a large group, I had a chance to try almost everything on the menu and they were all tasty. Would like to come again on my next visit to Dublin. Also the service was excellent, very quick and well coordinated. I'm impressed. Lovely staff!

Lovely Atmosphere , amazing food, great staff

Saba have always been a great place, good selection of asian food, drinks/cocktails and dessert none of which have changed in the restrictions. They've a nice outdoor sitting some tables with heaters and some without.
They were taking walk-ins but probably best to book beforehand.
D. O.
My first time here and it won't be my last. The food was delish and the waiting staff were so attentive. A little bit of Thailand and Vietnam in the one place. I'm still giving it a 5 star even though I didn't have time to have dessert or coffee but I will the next time!
S. S.
Fantastic food great atmosphere and friendly staff . Pork starter could eat right now so tasty and not over spicy.
S. S.
Excellent food. The service is quick and attentive, even while busy. The best noodle dish I have experienced in a Dublin restaurant. Delicious cocktails and A relaxed environment complimented by a simplistic yet aesthetically pleasing decor. I don't have any complaints about this place. Can strongly recommend.
C. J.
Excellent restaurant. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Very clean and a nice layout. The black pepper fried squid is the best I have ever had, perfectly cooked so it is crispy on the outside and the squid isn't rubbery. Highly recommended !
c. c.
Excellent Asian food at very reasonable prices. This is a casual dining restaurant in a vibrant part of the city that is ideal for families, coupled or groups. While the focus is on Asian food, there are choices on the menu that will appeal to the most non adventurous diner. Staff are friendly and you can take your time and not feel pressured to vacate your table.
A. A.
Good food, great service! The restaurant is quite dark and loud, but the taste of the food makes it worth it.
K. S.
The layout of tables is very spacious and the staff all wear masks. The food is delicious as always and it came out insanely quick after we ordered. Highly recommend the cocktails!
D. O.
Top quality Thai food with options to suit all tastes. Excellent cocktails too.
G. S. D.
The food was ok, a bit overpriced as it wasn't anything particularly special or memorable. Definetly not going back.
I.
Simply the best Thai food in Dublin. Most of their ingredients are flowing in weekly from Thailand.
I go here regularly and haven't had one dish I've disliked so far. They have a nice cocktail menu and fully stocked bar. Perfect place for starting out an evening in town.
P. J.
Authentic tastes, lovely service at reasonable prices.

Great spot with friendly efficient service. Arrived early and was seated immediately, lovely waitress took a drinks order without delay. Food delicious, the only downside is that the tables are too close together, noise level is considerable which makes it difficult to chat.
T. H.
Booked a table here for 7.30pm on Saturday. I was told the table had to be vacated by 9.30pm which was fine - 2 hours to enjoy a relaxing meal with my husband. It was our first time here and I had heard great things about the restaurant and was looking forward to it.
Arrived on time and our table was ready. We placed our order and the starter arrived promptly. Food was amazing BUT we had barely put our forks down when the plates were collected. A few minutes later our main course was delivered which was way too fast. By 8.10pm (40 minutes after we arrived) we were eating our main course. This was to be a relaxing meal, if we wanted fast food we could have gone to McDonald's.
The restaurant obviously wants 3 turnarounds per table but that shouldn't mean that customers are rushed out the door. By 9pm we left the restaurant feeling disappointed.
Waiting staff and food were great, it's the company policy that needs to be looked at. 🙁
N. T.
We had lunch and everything was delicious.
I have to say service was delightful.
My friend is vegan and our server gave her several recommendations to choose from and adjusted one of the items on the menu to make it vegan friendly.
Highly recommended.

Such amazing food for such good prices, and the staff are awesome too. My girlfriend spilled sweet and sour on her jeans and the restaurant manager came over and gave her a glass of sparkling water, soap, and a napkin to wash them and it worked! 5/5 couldn’t rate it better!
L. A.
We walked in and got a last minute table but everything came out so quickly, staff very helpful and all the dishes were delicious! Wish I remembered to take pictures but it all went down so quickly too! 😋 we all ordered different dishes and each one was delightful. We actually tasted each person’s dish to see and they were all great. It’s hard to find many places that you know you can come another time and order something else and still find something tasty that you would like.
k. q.
Enjoyed the setting, service staff were friendly and helpful. Host not so much!? Food was top notch. Pad Thai and Pho Bo were really tasty. It was an unexpected find and definitely 1 to visit again. We were there early on Saturday and it was busy.
A. R.
Great ambience, lovely (and innovative) food and drink options!!
M. S.
Gorgeous food. Cocktails great value and delicious. Love the gin one for 7 eur its delicious. Gorgeous curry, beef stir fry. Friendly staff too. Win.

This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Dublin. I just love food, atmosphere and staff there! Food is always nice and fresh and tasty. Its a perfect place to go on a date or just get together with friends or family. And cocktails are absolutely delicious!
S. B.
Absolutely lovely place!! Nice interior.. Staff is very friendly and professional! Food tasty and served with perfect timing. I will definitely come back here! Me and my lovely friends are recommending place.
k. l.
Always one of my favourite authentic Thai restaurants, nice lunch menu, two courses for €14.95. Staff friendly and attentive, bit disappointed to be given two orange juices from a carton instead of fresh orange juice. That said I would eat there again.
V. S.
The place was nice, and the food and service was very good. We loved the choice of gluten free options on mains and desserts. On the flipside, the place is a bit too loud. It was hard to talk to my girlfriend right in front of me, and we had to raise our voices to have a conversation.
S. K.
Met up with a friend for an early dinner and was still there 3.5 hours later. I am not a fan of big restaurants but the atmosphere here is comfortable and there is no rush. Food wise we played it safe and ate the duck spring rolls and chicken and prawn pad thai - both were delicious (the springs rolls were a bit cold though). A decent bottle of perfectly chilled sauvignon blanc washed it down nicely. Our waitress was friendly and smiling - exactly what you want. It's in a nice part of town so enjoyed seeing a different area of Dublin.
W. M.
As expected, Saba have planned so productively and thoughtfully for the Covid world. Really effective but clever screens, proper distancing, staff all excellent and kitted out to the highest hygiene standards, and the food was outstanding. So though an awful lot has changed, nothing has changed in terms of the quality of the experience. No matter how big the problem, Saba, Paul Cadden, and his staff seem to always have a sensible solution. Couldn’t be faulted. Don’t be afraid. Just go. 5 stars all round.
R. B.
Great food really good service in a nice area of Dublin City centre. Good happy hour cocktail deals from 12-7pm €7 (at time of writing) and also weekend menu with 1 main and 1 cocktail at €15.95. Great location for a dinner or lunch for 2 or birthday meal gathering
N. S.
Such a wonderful evening! I requested a little birthday treat when making a reservation online and they came through with an amazing desert with candles! Food was superb and service umprecvible.
D. M.
Lovely food and good staff but way too rushed! Similar to other reviews I have just read, we had the table booked 6.30 and told we had it for 2 hours which was fine with us. Placed an order for drinks and food and within less than 10mins a stressed chef was putting plates in front of us (before we even had drinks on the table). We were in shock. It was our first wedding anniversary we were celebrating and we were very disappointed. We were looking forward to a nice relaxing meal and some time together but they are so busy it seems that they have lost the balance of pacing their service. I think they need to remember it’s meant to be a proper restaurant not a fast food restaurant! The food was really nice but unfortunately I wouldn’t return as a couple for a date night again.
l. c.
The food was good but service was appalling. The staff were rude and abrupt and just trying to turn table as quick as possible. Really busy though so don't think they will worry about any negative review. Expensive too.
T. S.
Nice atmosphere and staff, food is nice but nothing special. The tempura soft shell crab I had on my last visit was greasy and not pleasant but the accompanying salad was very tasty. The green curry is nice and had a good kick but I have had better.
T. R.
We went for a one course lunch. The food was tasty and the service was very quick - we were in and out within half an hour. Not the most friendly of staff but pleasant enough. The prices are probably at the upper end of the scale for the quality of the food. I would suggest it is more of an evening venue rather than lunch time because of the dim lighting and few non-alcoholic drinks options.
S.
Came across this restaurant by accident while out in dublin city. The place was buzzing, staff were nice and the food was delicious. Best thai I've had, you must try their Green Monk fish curry!
S. ..
I love the choice we get here to choose the level of spice you can customize your dish to, ranging from one star to a five star.. tried a few of the vegetarian here with varying degrees of spice and my god, it is delicious! The boom is worth a try too, and the five star stuff is only for the brave hearted.. :)
j. O. R.
Food here is fabulously. Staff really nice. Good prices. Waitress overheard us discuss our daughters birthday brought us a candle desert on the house. Will be back!
W. G.
I was a bit worried when we learned we only had an hour and a half to eat before our table was reserved... but it was plenty of time. The fried ocras were particularly good! The service was great. I had Danang Noodles. They were good, but nothing more than that. Overall, it certainly was different from the food we usually had during our trip. It was a good asian restaurant, but not a great one.
K. S.
We started with the duck rolls, I had the sea bass and my dad had the sweet and sour chicken. The food was fantastic, but the service was almost non-existent. It would have been an easy 5stars if the service had been there. I would go back hoping for a different server.
M. R.
Delicious food. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Gorgeous wines. Good waiting staff. Always a pleasure to eat there. Fully recommend.
J. M. E.
Although dining at the minute is restricted to al fresco, the quality of the fare on offer hasn't suffered in the slightest. All served with affable competence.
C. H.
Food was nice. Waiters were friendly and overall had a good experience. Very reasonably priced menu. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable but overall that was the only thing detractin
g from the experience
J. C. -. s. h.
Their lunchtime menu and their prompt service really mean that you can enjoy a meal, and meet a friend without having to stress about usual restaurant limitations. The food is always healthy and tasty, and there are gluten-free and vegetarian options which is great as well. Highly recommend for a tasty city center restaurant with good service.
T. R.
It's a great looking place and mostly very crowded. This makes that it is very noisy and hard to have a conversation with multiple people. Service is correct, but hasty and we had to wait too long before we could order drinks. The group menu feels a bit like a rip off. It's more expensive than a la carte and the fact that we had to ask for the a la carte menus gave me a bit of a bad feeling.
I had satay gai as a starter and that was very disappointing. Dry meat and only lukewarm. Furthermore the satay sauce was a bit bland. The red curry was delicious though and of good quality. The overall dining experience was okay, but wouldn't recommend it as I believe it is overpriced.
M. R.
This is a great place for bigger groups. Fantastic cocktails (especially the Sabatini or the Porn Star), good Thai/Vietnamese food and very efficient service. I love the pepper squid as a starter and the green curry is to die for. Great for atmosphere too! Value for money OK.
M. P.
Charming place. It sure has some things to polish. Service was good, contrary to other reviews. The place is a tad noisy. The food is tasty and mostly authentic and yeah a tad expensive. All in all a place to go to if u are looking for a touch of Vietnamese flavor.
R. P.
Had a business dinner with customer group very well looked after, the host was superb, she looked after the grop too well. Good selection of drink and food. Good value preset menu.
L. B.
Lovely food, great service
Y. S.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin..love the food, the atmosphere, staff are great, good cocktail and drinks menu!
K. M.
Yummy food Slightly rushed service. Popular restaurants don’t mean rush your meal and key the next people in. Let’s sit and enjoy. Unless you state that how you want it. Great introducing new meals to friends. And Saba!
E. O.
Great atmosphere, good wine list and mainly tasty food. Tried the Pad Thai and Massamam chicken and it was delicious. Recommended.
C. M. M.
My favorite spot in the city centre! Loads of delicious gluten free options as well as plenty vegetarian ones too. Great service too. Saba is my go-to for eating out in Dublin :-)
E.
Excellent dining. Staff were very good and extremely courteous. Food delicious! Very busy but caters well with crowds.
V. G.
Great food! Ordered the Chiang Rai and was of great standard. A little on the oily side as at the bottom of my dish was a pool of oil, and not as spicy as I was hoping it'd be.
R. D.
My boyfriend and I went there for a dinner on Saint Valentines day. I chose to try this restaurant because of the many TripAdvisor prices won in the past years and I found it very good but I didn't find it worth 5 stars. Food was definitely good but I think it is a bit over priced, I had thai food as good for less in other restaurants. It was a nice dinner and the service is nice and friendly but paying 80€ for 2 starters and two main dishes (we drunk water) seems to be a bit too expensive.
A. N.
Nowhere better than Saba to go to when it comes to Thai food.
d. g. o. s.
Great spot, always a buzz in the place. Food is varied & lovely; a wide choice of Cocktails, if that what floats your boat! 🍸 I try to get there reasonably frequently.
D. C.
A lovely Thai Vietnamese restaurant with a modern dark interior. Very relaxing with very pleasant staff. Taos mulled wine for the festive shopper is a very nice comforter apre tif. Really good fusion food with some great spicy numbers. Good for large parties and small alike. True not a great view, but hey you are in a city, focus on the food and the drink.
S. C.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Food was great as always. Proper Asian stirfrys and a lovely lunch menu.
Not cheap food but you can taste the quality.
S. R.
Love the food, staff & pricing. Can be too dark in the evening to read the menu though! have used the flashlight on my phone a couple of times especially if the canapé at the front is down otherwise would get 5 stars.
P.
Was here for lunch. Very friendly service and beautiful atmosphere! I had a beef salad which tasted very nice. Though, I have to say the beef was a bit overcooked as it was quite dry, but other than that it was very delicious!
I.
This place is really cool. I rarely eat fish, but the fish in this restaurant is just heaven and is a must try. Good vibe, but would recommend you to book a table first to avoid waiting. ;)
A. B.
Nice atmosphere, authentic Thai food. Let down by mushy rice cooked in too much water and hard undercooked vegetables on every meal. Wasn't too impressed.
D. D.
Decent Thai food, but more "Asian" than solely Thai. VERY expensive and service was pretty slow (except at the bar where the cocktails were amazing!).
If you like good Thai food, you'll like this place. Be sure to reserve WELL in advance.
S. K.
Great service, amazing cocktails, great food, great atmosphere and lovely wine. Puts Saba to go to shame. Will go again and again. Note to Staff, leave the drink menus on the table. So many excellent options.
j. c.
Thank you for a lovely service July 31st Sat great food and Staff .
J. R.
The appetizers ( squid was perfect ) , mains ( I had swordfish ) were all excellent but the deserts really left a lot to be desired and were lacking in imagination. It was very very loud and while I like music in a restaurant I also like to be able to hear conversation without roaring. A bit too expensive. Cocktails were fantastic . If I was marking out of 10 I'd give a 7
G. S.
Delicious food. Went here tonight for my 5th anniversary with my partner. They surprised us with a lovely dessert! Great service as always!
F. T. L.
Enjoyed a meal here a few weeks back. Busy place, which is a good thing. Good portion size, friendly staff and fairly priced. Would definitely eat there again
K. H.
Great location. Excellent weekly cocktail option. Asain food menu good vegetarian amd meat choice. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Need reservation gets busy late
C. L.
Overall great atmosphere, food and drinks!
We went for dinner on a Tuesday without a reservation, the service was fast enough. It can get a bit noisy (like a lot of restaurants in Dublin, from my experience) and I think that led to the waiter getting my drink wrong - I was brought a P*rnstar instead of a Grapefruit Martini.
The salad with crab tempura (Tempura Nua Cua) we had for starter was very good and I was very happy to see they served grilled swordfish. We ordered that and a delicious beef marinated in a sort of sweet beer and soy sauce (Bo).
We were also pleased and somewhat surprised to see a decent portuguese wine on the menu.
For desert we had the caramelised pineapple and a strawberry and blueberry cheesecake with lemon sorbet (desert of the day). They weren't bad but they weren't as good as what we had before.
We'll definitely come back and recommend it to friends. We still want to try some of their cocktails. The lobster dishes are also tempting!
N. M.
Friendly helpful staff, wonderful food.
When I left the restaurant, I left behind my jacket, but they rang to tell me within a couple of minutes.
All round excellent!
E. G.
The food is excellent: curries, steamed/marinated meats, aromatic duck... all delicious! Cocktails are also amazing. Not only the regular Cosmo & co. but also the more classic ones - that are the coolest of the moment. Great place for a "tête à tête", with mom or with chéri.
P. S.
Great food!
S. S.
Staff remembered us. Seated us where we like to sit! Food was very special & you couldn't fault the service.
O. B. S.
The best Thai food in Dublin. My absolute favorite is the yellow prawn curry 4 star spicy with fried rice. The Strawberry - Rhubarb cheesecake is also unbeatable!
T. C.
Probably the best Asian restaurant in Dublin. Pay attention to their spice notes and recommendations on the menu as they aren't kidding, the hot stuff can get you ordering up a tall glass on milk on the ASAP.

We were invited along to a Saturday cooking and cocktail class recently and it was a delightful afternoon.
The idea of this class, which takes two hours out of your afternoon, is that you learn to cook some authentically flavour busting food and learn what cocktail compliment them. The two gentlemen, head chef Tao and head mixologist, ran the class alongside each other, complimenting each other at the pauses with flawless precision. They took volunteers for each dish up to the cooking station to help with the cooking or mixing. After the first dish, we were fighting for a go!
They set out the dishes and cocktails prior to class and provided booklets for the attendees to follow the recipes. This was seriously handy because we got to keep them and I could double and triple check what I could and could not eat or drink. Obviously soy sauce was not going to be gluten free, but the rest was easily adaptable for me.
Our first dish was this spicy prawn soup called Tom Yaam Goong. Because of the spice level it was complimented by an "Under the Tropics" cocktail. It had a creamy banana flavour to coat the tongue after the spicy tingles. We were told to have a spoon and soup and then a sip of cocktail and so on. I'm really not a fan of banana, so I may have just had the soup and I can tell you that it was gorgeously spicy.
The second cocktail I was a little iffy about as they said it genever, which they described as being distilled through beer. Red flag for me, so when they asked for a volunteer to help make it I hopped on up! To be safe, because he was unsure, we substituted gin for the genever, which as it turns out was what they had started making the cocktail on. It was delicious anyway! The dish it accompanied was a salad, and no, it does not look like a salad as we know it! This was an asian salad called Yamm Woon Sen, a Thai Spicy Glass Noodle Salad with minced pork and prawns. I had a go at chop sticks with this one, after about 10 minutes and 3/4 of the dish I gave in so I could finish it all. I cleaned the plate, great proof I enjoyed it at least!
During the whole presentation Chef Tao was instructing the attendees on the composition of the dishes and giving tips on ingredients. He recommended the smaller Asian shops for ingredients, rather than the larger superstores. I asked about substituting Tamari sauce for Soy sauce and he suggested the fish sauce for these dishes instead as it packs more flavour. Another great tip is when your meat is 70-80% cooked, add your veggies because if not your meat will be overcooked.
I couldn't eat the third dish as is contained soy sauce, but I could have the cocktail. I asked my neighbour if I could have a quick pic of her dish, which was called Xao Xa Ot. The cocktail was the Garrigue and was close to our mixologists heart as it reminded him of the South of France in taste and fragrance. It reminded me of fields of hay, but hey, everyone gets their own tastes from these things!
The final dish was a green monkfish curry (Gaeng Kiew Wnn Pia) accompanied by Mango and Cucumber gimlet. This dish was so creamy without having that texture of cream. The monkfish was perfect, but the most pleasant experience of this dish was thai pea aubergines that burst in your mouth and filled it with flavour as you bit into them.
Overall, this was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. Although it'd be great any Saturday afternoon, I'd particularly recommend it for a birthday or a hen party as an fun and filling afternoon activity.
Saba has never let me down on the gluten free or flavour fronts. They are dealing with more and more allergies everyday, according to the manager. This is definitely one of the gems of the town and between themselves and Saba To Go they have a variety of price ranges to cater for everyone.
B. S.
Very nice place, original Thai food and nice selection of cocktails. Prices are average and food very good. Staff is excellent
A.
Disappointing experience. 2/3 dishes were pretty good. Third dish was not spiced or salted correctly. Very bland and sad. The whole meal was overpriced and a little pretentious.
E. G.
Super welcoming and friendly thai restaurant.
We had the sundried pork (disappointing), black pepper squid (yummy), crispy duck (amazing) and pad thai (delicious).
A. D.
The real deal in Vietnamese and Thai food in Dublin. Always a great welcome. Superb cocktails, food and wine. Love this place, highly recommended!
T. R.
Lovely Thai food to eat in or take home! I'm a massaman curry fiend and this is one of the better ones in the city! There is also a butternut squash curry that needs to be tried, so make sure you do!
A. B.
The food was amazing and the service was stellar, I would definitely recommend to other people 🙂
P. R.
The food and cocktails are fantastic, however the service is not. Inattentive waiters and a very unfriendly greeter who gives you your table. Prices are definitely fair.
I. C.
Attentive staff, sometimes it takes too long to serve if you are in a rush. The food is good enough, nothing special, so I think the lunch deal is slightly overpriced for the value given.
M. L.
I've never been disappointed here, they adapt the food really well if you prefer less spicy food and their cocktails are always a step above
N. P.
While serving decent quality food, the dishes lack creativity and have a mass produce feel to it.
The atmosphere is buzzing with quick dinner notes, not really a place to have a relaxed conversation.
B. O.
Great food and people to serve you. All very tasty and price is fare.
G. B.
One of my favourite places to get Thai food in Dublin. Great atmosphere, delicious wines and food. Get the monkfish Thai green curry or the pho bo, both are delicious.
D. H.
Had dinner in Saba on may 20th and will definately dine again....for starter I had tom yum goong( soup with prawns) main I had boom!( vegetable and tofu spicy stirfry) and desert was espresso martini, food was excellent, very tastey, service was brilliant and great value for money.

It's a fancy place but I recommend getting a proper table. Otherwise it's hard to sit up in those banks for long dinners.
Staff seems in a rush.
R. R.
One of my favourite Thai restaurants in Dublin. Food is really good, service as well and cocktails are a delight.
J. R.
Lovely food. It was great to be able to eat outside. Pity the weather was a bit windy.
F. K.
Great restaurant, staff well trained knowledgeable and friendly. Food excellent, tasty and portions just right.
S.
Quick, very good, good atmosphere. Loud- but what I was looking for. Got the saigon noodles- couldnt finish because they were so good and so much.
M. H.
Really great food, very accommodating for coeliacs as most of their foods are gf, including a few of their desserts! Highly recommend, great tastes and flavours!
S. F.
Saba is one of those places that you HAVE to visit if you are in Dublin. The food is amazing and there is a real buzz about the place. This is a great place to go for a group party or family occasion.
S. W.
They claim to serve Thai food, but they just Chinese versions ; ie cheating ! People who eat here have no idea what Thai food is like !
S. C.
Definitely one of the finest Thai eateries in Dublin. It can be a little noisy, but the service is generally excellent, and it's not overly pricey.
P. J.
Great food, no rush to get you out and nice friendly waiting staff.
M. G.
Upscale restaurant and prices but the food doesn't really deliver towards it. Good enough Asian fusion cuisine and good service but average taste.
R. T.
Delighted to eat 'Al Fresco'. Same great food and service. Really worth a visit.
L. T.
Food good, seating quite close, restaurant quite dark, reservation recommended. Great location. Cocktails available.
P. M.
OK food. Unfriendly staff. The place was less than half empty and they didn’t want to give us a table.
V. K.
I liked the ambience and the food. However the beer options were limited. They should look at that.
D. F.
I had the pleasure of doing a cookery class in here (as well as numerous visits as a customer). The head chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana has cooked for the king and queen of Thailand before so he certainly knows what he's doing!
The prawn crackers are an essential part of your order here and I can never turn down the Phuket (spicy duck noodles). Try the Crouching Tiger (Bison grass vodka, kiwi and apple juice) or Pornstar (passion fruit and vanilla vodka) cocktails!
P. D.
Great Thai fusion cuisine. The squid starter is delightful. Maybe a little expensive but perfect if you want to treat yourself.
d. w.
Saba is consistently excellent. Great looking Asian restaurant with quality food and drinks and reasonable prices. Great go to spot when shopping around Grafton street.
J. H.
Absolutely delicious Hake and curry in a banana leaf. The staff was responsive and pleasant. Very nice atmosphere as well.
D. G.
Starter was nice, Duck roll, had the Ribeye it was cold. Wine was overpriced. Staff friendly enough.

The new location in South Williams Street is fabulous, High ceiling, really bring you back to authenticity of Thailand.
Service is very excellent, staff are impactable 9/10
Food was good, somewhat pricy for starters.
Not worth it.
Cocktails are €12 very good selection.
Great place to stop after a day of shopping in down!
Will go again!!!
C. M.
Ordered this from deliveroo this evening. There was a starter missing but the restaurant called me when they realised to apologise and offer to bring it immediately, or a refund with some extras next time I ordered. Mistakes happen and the way they dealt with it showed great customer service imo.
The food itself was amazing. The Fan Fo noodles were excellent and my girlfriend tells me the vegan curry was delicious. I will definitely be going to the restaurant for a meal soon.
C. S.
Food was great so was the service first time I the new premises since they moved fab location and interiors

(Translated) The most delicious Thai restaurant in Ireland. There are two branches in Dublin and the coolest menu named Boom. The trip beginning this year 2019 has gone to this shop. There are only 3 trips. Can only say that it is great. Really a complete machine to satisfy customers as well. Requesting an omelette to make Requesting more bamboo shoots, making Thai food for Thai chefs at ireland only available at this store Prices may be followed as well. But can understand Good stuff comes with good price too. Must be imported from Thailand

(Translated) It serves Thai and Vietnamese food at the same time, Thai food is delicious but not the best. Food is served in one serving, so if you are going with four people, you need to order four or more foods (men's standard). There is no best wine, only wine of moderate quality. 4 people will get about 100,000 won including a bottle of wine. This is the only place where Thai food is good in Dublin. If you're Korean, you'd like to try Korean food, but in Dublin, all Korean food is run by Chinese. Never go. If you want to eat rice, don't miss it.
