Nice location...
Polite staff...
Food is okay....
But, missing that very authentic indian Indian taste...
Over all not bad...
A. P.
Went yesterday for lunch with a friend cause it was very close to the city centre. Amazing location, very good price, better customer service and the best, the taste of the food. Couldn’t be better. The portions were big also perfect for sharing. The restaurant was very clean and they respected all the COVID measurements. Will definitely repeat here. 😊

Great indian restaurant in the center of Dublin. The service was friendly and patient, accommodating for our allergies and making suggestions. The food was delicious and filling after a long day of waking. I would recommend the bahari chicken and the chicken Tikka masala.
D. I.
The food was very good, but service not that great. They were nice and respectful but probably at the start of their career not knowing when and what to serve.
I was told it is some of the best indian food you' ll find around and I was not disappointed, but don't forget to order chutney with your appetizers.
C. S.
Good food excellent service.I used to go next door .went thair this time because of next door are closed and I found my new favorite indian food now.just amazingggg food also great service

First time at spice of India, we sat outside and had a lovely early bird meal, great value especially for Central Dublin and delicious food, we will return.
N. R.
Food was lovely and main portions were huge. Waiter was incredibly nice and polite. Dinner for 2 deal is great value
K. C.
Average I would say. Spice of India in Galway is way better than this one. Staff and service is nice just the food is average.
k. w.
didnt like the service here at all staff is little rude.
Food is OK.

The real essence of india 🔥

Chicken shish kebab extra spicy was really great..gives you spicy indian feels, lamb biryani was good as well. Just a small request from the owners, please play good indian songs.. I don't know what's wrong with the owner whether he has suffered a break up or what.. But the songs were really very sad and old 80's this is not what i would like to be the impression of Indian music on international audience this is not indian music for sure.. Someone please recommend them good playlist.

Staff was a bit rude when we came in, which was about 45 mins before closing. The host told us there's no dining in available, only take away. The restaurant was nearly full though, so when I asked how come there's no dining in when everyone around us is dining in, he replied "ok, but we close at 23:30 sharp". Easy. Honestly, we finished quite a bit before the deadline and it felt like most of the time we were waiting on the waiter. For example, they didn't set our table, and when the food arrived I had to ask for a plate to eat it on, which took about 5 minutes since the waiter was busy chatting.
The food was okay, the chicken tikka was a bit too sweet in my opinion, the onion bhajis were great. We also asked for water and orange juice but the orange juice was *warm* and tasted so bad we just didn't touch it. The water also tasted bad for some reason.
Overall, I wouldn't eat here again. I don't think the experience was bad. Just that there are other, better places.

Lovely food and good service. Would come back

Spice of India? Located in the heart of Dublin close to college green and St. Stephen green park. The restaurant is clean. The service is too slow and they stay all beside the counter instead of asking the client s if they need something. I asked a glass of water and they brought after 30 mins. Food? Absolutely amazing. Top of the top. I got the tikka masala and I strongly recommend it. I had before in some other restaurants but a tikka masala like that at spice of India I have to say that I found so yummy. Gloriously good!! I strongly suggest it. The price is affordable. Not too expensive. Also there is a offer per 2 at only 54 euro. 2 starters 2 mainsz sider and a bottle of wine or 2 bottles of beer. Not bad at all. Overall I recommend it. Don't expect too much from the service as they are not nice and slow. Pics. Attached

Pretty decent Indian spot for Dublin, have had much better Indian in the U.S. and the Chicken Tikka Masala was a little sweet for my palate but the garlic naan was great. I had them make it at their medium-hot level and I prob could have went up to their hottest and it would have been perfect.
M. W.
Lovely and very tasty food, took advantage of a Groupon voucher and will come again even without one ! , and very near cc area so easy to get to.. tender meat..
B. C.
Our favourite Indian in Dublin. Been here on a bi-weekly basis for a long time and have never been let down.
The staff are excellent in service and friendliness. Always remember us and our orders. The food unbelievabely good.
Always get meat and veg samosas, chicken vindaloo and chicken biryani with garlic naan and rice. Absolutely fantastic.
Thanks again!
C. P.
Clean, friendly, efficient staff. Went for early bird good value for 2. Was very tasty with plenty of spices. Lovely nan bread. Would go back for full meal.
M. P.
I really like this restaurant! The food is lovely and the location too. Very clean and staff very polite. I highly suggest this place for who loves Indian food!
i.
This has got to be my favourite Indian restaurant in Dublin if not anywhere, ever. The food is amazing, the staff are so lovely. Right on South William St so theres a bit of a buzz around. Couldn't recommend it enough to be honest
S. A.
Tasty Kerala food..It was awesome…
C. G.
Very nice spot in the city, clean and friendly service! Was the best chicken tikka Marsala I’ve ever tried and a very good korma as well.
M. A. R.
An authentic Indian food. Good decoration. Friendly staff. Little bit expensive
M. K.
Good food.. less quantity.. overall good place for a hearty meal
A. P.
I've had Indian cuisine in many cities, in Ireland and USA. The food here was some of the most authentic and truly delicious I've ever had.
J. L.
Food so tasty, reasonably priced and staff very attentive.
C. S.
I only have a few drinks there. The restaurant is located in the nicest area in the city for a night out. The staff are friendly. Their byriane rice is nice and not too spice. The table outside is the best spot to have a few drinks with a friend and watch people passing by.
I. T.
Great lunch deal. Nice staff
S. H.
Halal food and really well made chicken dishes
a. j.
okayish taste. but good for someone craving Indian food in dublin.
T. S.
The restaurant itself is small and not very “fancy” but the food in my opinion is consistently great. If comparing to other Indian restaurants in Dublin some of their dishes surpass and fall short of others. I think it depends on what you order. I love the Rogan josh. Also, the staff may not be overly friendly as you’re accustomed to, but the service is still good.
M. C.
This is really a great place to eat , with some great lunches
a. g.
Food was good but service was bit late
J. M.
Very good for the price, its not super special but it is consistent in its cookery and also in its pricing, which is more than can be said for some other nearby Indian restaurants.
Y. S.
Nice setting, wel laid out. Food options really good with a wide variety of dishes. Spicy and tasteful meal options prepared. Service was good, did appeared in short time, dishes cleared once finished. Lovely restaurant.
A. Y.
Food is nice and the staff is friendly.
J. F.
Experience and quite staff and lovely food.
A. S.
Food was really great and nothing beats a kitchen willing for accommodate your request for a
Chillier version of dish + fresh chilli and onion :)
Ordered the set meal for 2- liked the chilli masala chicken. The korma was a little too sweet but still pleasant. Lovely meal here!
P. T.
Best Indian food but staff needs to be more polite
D. D.
Super Indian restaurant set in the heart of Dublin south side. Very accommodating, great staff, lovely food, very good value for money. A party of 8 , we all left feeling full, well nourished and content.
C. D.
Great spot for amazing food and friendly staff
P. K.
A nice Indian restaurant ina good location. Food was good. Enjoyed my Malai Matar Makhani with Garlic chilli naans.
But Masala Tea was the winner. If you really want the best Indian tea, then this is the place.
R. W.
We ate lunch here. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. It was a great price of 11e each for two courses! Will definitely be returning
C. F.
The food was amazing. One the best Indians I’ve had in a long time and I’ve tried a few in Dublin. The staff however were quite cheeky and need to work on their customer service. Other than that the food was lovely 🙌🏼
J. T.
Got the deal from Groupon. Great experience, the staff are very well presented and professional. Food was amazing and the portion size was huge. Best meal out in quite a while will definitely be returning.
D. R.
Excellent food! The best Indian food I had in the UK and Ireland! It was authentic Indian, not westernized and that's what we loved about it. Highly recommended!
A. M.
It's really hard to impress us. But you all really did it well😜😊 Good food with great ambiance. 🎼🎼 . thanks everyone..
B. A.
Went for lunch on Saturday. Two starters,( onion bhaji, chicken tikka) two mains, (chicken Rogan Josh and Bombay also) pint of hienieken and a glass of wine. Two teas to finish. Very nice and lots of it. Less than €30. Service very efficient. Recommended.
V. A.
Ambience is just ok..
But food is just NOT ok!! Don't know in form of INDIAN food, what are they serving!!
Naans are made of egg (nowhere back home it happens like that). We ordered sag-paneer.. absolutely tasteless. In garb of BAASMATI rice, they are providing normal rice!!
Daal-tadka was also ok ok..
M. S.
A lovely little restaurant with good customer service
a. g.
For Indians only!!!! Naah its for everyone who like to eat indian spices. One of the best Indian food restaurants in dublin
Great ambience great food
We ordered authentic indian paneer and mashroom masala with onion naan cheese naan keema naan and garlic naan
And believe me they worth every penny
Rating
Food-5/5
Ambience-4/5

Well suggested place for Asian, South Indian, and North Indian dishes.
Parking is difficult to find.
Good price for Good food.
You have combo means for lunch and dinner.
Wine and beer available..
We ordered for Biryaani, Butter chicken and naan. It was 4 on 5 stars.
Outside and inside seaters are available for dining.
No need to q up. Usual busy surrounding.
In the midst of street.
Wouldn't be cosy. But definitely a place for Indian foodies.
E. C.
I had the saag paneer and my friend had the vegetable korma. Saag paneer was excellent but the korma really stole the show. Sides were decent, pilanu rice a little dry and naan slight.
Service was typical for an Indian restaurant, overall a great meal.
s. l.
mild or hot food this place caters to all taste buds.Hands down the tikka masala i have ever tasted in my life.Staff were amazing on monday night though quite night.will definitely visit again
M. T.
Tasty although not strictly Indian food and a horrendous service! I had to continuosly ask for water. Was never offered any. At one point the waiter brought me disgustingly warm water with no ice in it! I asked for ice and he brought me a pint glass with ice but no spoon in it! He proceeded to slide the ice into my water glass and sure enough, got himself and the floor wet! It was as if it was his 1st day waitressing! They had a candle on our table that I had to ask them to lighten! The man in the front is peculiar - it's unclear what he's there for! All in all, we give it 3 out of 5
k. f.
had a meal here last night 9/10/18 with a voucher I got groupon deal, i ordered starter and main course chicken tika the rice was 2.10e extra or if you got other rices it was 3e, the tika was just warm and the rice was luke warm would have like it hot (don't mean spicy) flavour nice, staff nice
w. w.
Very picky eater and would rate this probably one of two of the best indian restaurants in Ireland.
Come on a regular occurrence and do two course deals and it's easy on the pocket. Find the waiters really helpful and nice and especially find the Khorma, garlic naan and pilau rice delicious. Must try to believe!
V. B.
Place offers a variety of Indian food with good taste with decent interiors.
Only drawback is the waiting time between ordering and getting the food served on your table.
M. T.
The meal was ok nothing special service was good.
m. k.
Best indian in Dublin city in my opinion. Have been here countless times and it never disappoints. Really good early bird menu and good beer and wine.
G. c.
Nice food and Staff were very friendly. Definitely Better than the India restaurant next door.
H. E.
Excellent flavours and piping hot (temperature), generous portions. Easy to identify allergens on menu. Visited peak time on a Saturday night.
C. D.
Great place and excellent food. The server was very friendly and the price is reasonable. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.
D. K.
Nice food and you get alot of it, beer a bit over priced and white wine was warm but the food itself was good, we will be back.
D. U.
Best Indian food,
We come here every two or three weeks and the service is great, staff are great and food is tasty and fast...everything was always perfect 100% recommend! !!
s. t.
It's a casual place and it is good for lunches with your family and friends....at a good price...the food is served in an attractive manner straight from the kitchen...I like their 10€ meal deal in which you can pick up one starter ,one main course and tea or coffee ....it's pocket friendly and gives you a feeling of satisfaction & fullness🙂
A. J.
Good for lunch. Generally they offer 9.99 euro 3 course lunch menu. Value for money. Highly recommended.
S. C.
Very spicy!
I like hot chilli sauce, I ordered Vandaloo it was very hot and tasty, but this dish it's for everybody! ;)
Anyway the other dishes are good as well and not so spicy.

Lunchtime on a Saturday, this place is just the best. The meals are exceptional and the service is top class. What more can I say?
Y. A. A.
Great food. Great service.
A. D.
Very small vegetarian menu. Vegetables were not finely chopped. Even the taste was quite bland. I would not recommend it for vegetarians. Service was decent.
