Yes, yes, yes! Treat yourself to a 5 star dining experience here. We are from Boston and have been able to indulge in high end/luxury dining all over the world. Suesey Street servers and chefs rank up there with the best we’ve had. In addition to what we consider the basics- fresh and phenomenally prepared food and attentive service (The service was over the top. We had no less than 5 people tending to us making sure our every need was met and that we felt cared for.), the ambience here added to the experience; soft, comfy, quiet with low lighting. We dined inside at a private alcove table but they also serve outside which looked just as magical. Amazing! Keep up the good work!🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

First time eating prawns from Dublin bay and they literally dissolved in your mouth! The whole dinner was amazing and the atmosphere and customer service were amazing too!
For desert I definitely recommend the passion fruit cheese cake! It's like heaven in your mouth!
Although it's on the pricey side I would highly recommend!
Small tip, beware of the toilet in the ladies room, it might scare you and move a bit 😆

Good food and nice atmosphere, however I've ordered my dish clearly stating I don't eat red meat and kindly asked if they could remove the bacon. They agreed, however the dish came with bacon on it, and I had to inform them about that and wait for another dish.

Delicious steak and the children's menu is great for the kids! Not to mention the delicious desserts. I ordered the Milk Chocolate Praline Delice and it was simply delicious! I love the outdoor seating too! Beautiful set up. Cannot wait to visit again.

Perfection from start to finish. We had the most amazing meal here this week. The staff were fantastic, attentive but not overbearing. The food was superb. The steak tartare was the best I have had and the venison was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

Awesome bar set up, and beautiful interior setting for dinner and drinks. Ambiance gets two thumbs up! Food was delicious, though the medium rare steak request was closer to medium. The outdoor area has cover from the elements and would make a fine setting for brunch or a small party.

The food is good, the staff is wonderful. The food might take some time given they make it fresh. Its a Michelin star restaurant and stands up to its name. The portion size is small so if you have a big appetite you might want to order more. A bit expensive. The quality although is very good had " when the boat comes in" and " dublin bay prawns"and both thes dishes were very nice

My partner and I booked a last minute reservation on a Saturday. We got a table outside (this is covered, but appears that it does have the ability to open up.)
The lighting was excellent, and the service was top notch. I appreciated the extra care that they were taking when it came to cleanliness. Everyone said hello as we walked in, and everyone politely thanked us when we left. Legendary service.
Last but not least - the food. We ordered a couple starters (Prawns and a Seared Scallop dish) which we planned to share. A few minutes later my partner had already finished her entire plate, which is a good sign. The Scallops were delicious and the addition of bacon and pea sealed the deal. We then ordered a Lamb dish and the market fish of the day, which was Lobster. Both were amazing. The lamb was succulent and the lobster was perfectly cooked. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Finished things off with an espresso and called it a night!

Amazing place with cozy atmosphere. The dishes were awesome and the desserts very tasty. After 8 months of quarantine it was the best place to go. I would recommend the place 100%

Place had decent food, dessert was absolutely delicious.
Food:
Food was average— the starter and main dish were both missing the punch of flavor/that oomph that’d make it a great dish. Food presentation was good and clearly well thought through. Dessert was the highlight, would go back for some dessert and coffee again. Wine was lovely.
Service:
Staff was very courteous and prompt. They went out of the way to ensure the customers had a great time.
Ambience:
We sat outside, and the place was nice and cozy. It was well lit and there was clearly lots of thought into the decor.

Hidden gem. Discrete downstairs eatery with an ornate bar and stylish restaurant that extends to an outdoor area in warmer weather. Menu is short but the options we tried were damn tasty. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. We were there on a Friday and had the option of 'the supper club' which is a separate menu (about the same # of starters & mains) for a set price. Also includes a bottle of the house wine which you can 'upgrade' to something more expensive and only pay the difference. Recommended.

A great experience from start to finish. From the friendly welcome, to the food (so delicious), through to the exceptional attentive service, everything was amazing, and given the current climate, the ambience was still nice. In terms of covid practises, everything was perfect. Can't wait to go back.

I love this restaurant, the atmosphere, the staff and the fabulous food. Brought some friends for lunch last Sunday and they loved it as much as I do. ⭐️🤩⭐️🤩
K. B.
Absolutely excellent food, a great menu. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. They also do fantastic cocktails. Will defineitly be going back

Very disappointed with this place. Has all the elements of a great fine dining restaurant minus the food.
Every dish I had was very average. I’m not sure who designed the menu but the elements of the dishes just don’t match each other at all. It all very confusing. The beef cheeks I ordered for mains was particularly bland. One dimensional flavours and under seasoned.
If it wasn’t for the excellent service from the staff I’d give it two stars, but unfortunately the amazing service isn’t enough to get me back again.

A very contrasting experience!
The ambience and decor is excellent - low lighting and old-worldy at the front. The terrace is a beautiful setting too. We had a warm welcome, with good COVID protocols (sanitiser, masks etc).
Pre-dinner cocktail (and mocktail for my pregnant wife) was delicious. As was the post-prandial white Russian!
Everyone we encountered was super friendly and professional. Even before my wife (pregnant) could ask about the burrata the waiter knowingly told us it was pasteurised. Very on the ball.
My starter - foie gras - was incredible. A genuine 10/10. MY wife's - the burrata - was OK. Not oozey, gooey as you might expect, but flavoursome nonetheless.
Now the main... and where the contrast comes in. I got the lamb and, I'm sorry to say, but it's possibly the worst main I've ever eaten. The lamb was devoid of any flavour, and was chewy. There couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of mash smeared along the plate. The accompanying veg just about on the acceptable side of al dente. My wife had the lobster, which was OK. She didn't have the right tools (a pick) and didn't want to ask, so used her fork as best she could.
When someone came to clear our plates and asked how it was, I was honest and said that the starter was incredible (didn't want him thinking I was a moany fool), but the main was tough and bland, and there wasn't enough mash. He said something along the lines of "OK, I'll pass this on to the kitchen".
Or desserts were both great. (mine was chocolate/praline delice, my wife has the apple tart fine).
I would have liked/expected someone to come to take feedback on the lamb or offer some sort of explanation on the comments we made, but that was it.
If the mains had been good it would have been a great evening, but the lamb was so bad it really dominated the whole experience to be honest.
Worth €210? Absolutely not.

Lovely restaurant, enjoyed Sunday lunch today. Great for family get together during Covid...louvred roof in outdoor terrace ..so we were protected from the rain. V friendly staff. Best cod I've had in years.xxx
B. R.
Nice food, tasty lamb and the Fois Gras with Black Pudding was excellent. A little pricey but that was due to us picking the alacarte. Would go for the early bird next time which seemed to be very good value
L.
Had a lovely meal here last night in their garden terrace. The service was great and all three course were delicious. I would particularly recommend the milk chocolate praline dessert!
R. M.
Food and ambience of a speak easy. Entrance is downstairs but the street sign is clearly visible. Food presentation is elegant but not pretentious and it was damn tasty as well. The space makes you feel.like you get a warm Irish hug. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable and on point (they are always moving and very attentive to your table and your needs) Looking for a great dinner? Get to Suesey Street.
K. C.
From drinks on arrival to dinner. An experience from end to end. Staff were attentive but not over bearing. A delicious menu, a little different from the norm, with something for everyone. Fantastic wine list.

Lovely lunch yesterday, food is modern and well cooked. Very attentive service, nice wine list and lovely cocktails. The management and staff were very mindful of the required measures to ensure safe and comfortable dining. Lovely atmosphere and guests well spaced throughout. Will definitely be back in the new year.

Lovely new addition to the village of Terenure. An artisanal grocery shop with lots of delicious foods to whet your appetite. A magnificent fish counter and fish so fresh , had a lovely chat with the fishmonger who was happy to share his knowledge of his produce and how to cook it.

We had a flawless night here recently, the welcome the wine, the food and the service, all top shelf.

Lovely place. Really good food. Worth every penny

Great meal! Perfect for a large group. However, it took 2hrs for lunch so that's good to know when going during work hour...
J.
Had the New years eve menu. Cozy and nice atmosphere. Very very good service. Perfect food! Really, really good service too.
A. C.
Loved it here in Suesey Street. The interiors are very on trend. The menu was perfect and the food delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely attentive. Felt very safe with tables spaced well apart and all staff wearing visors.
The chocolate mouse dessert is truly amazing 😉 😋.
B. C.
A wonderful meal enjoyed in this fine establishment tonight. The food and service were flawless. Really comfortable setting with plenty of room to maintain safe distance from other tables. Such a treat that everyone should experience with friends. I'm planning my next visit already.
E. L.
Really amazing food! The ambience was moody and elegant, and the staff were really nice and helpful.
The cocktails were also out of this world - recommend the Lemon Cheesecake!
A. C.
Loved Suesey Street, good food, great staff and service.
J. H.
I can only give it four stars as I was there on a work night out and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. But the staff were always making sure we were taken care of. And the food was excellent, for a main course I had the beef and it fell apart at the touch of the fork. Despite having to make multiples of the same meal for a large number of people it was delicious and perfectly prepared. I can't say what it is like on a normal day but if they can make the food that good for a party where you are happy with rubber chicken and an open bar. It is a place worth visiting
M. R.
Thank you so much for your delicious Supper club ...what a treat! Delicious food for take home and exact details on how to finish off in own oven. LOVED the blue cheese and pear starter with caramelized walnuts. Will definitely order again.
A. L.
Delicious food, great service. Lovely covered outdoor dining area
I. C.
Had drinks and dinner there with a friend - girls’ evening out. The menu and the service are exquisite! Do go ahead and ask any questions about how the food is prepared or what they recommend 😉 Portions allow for a small or shared appetizer, main course and a light desert - all worth the try ☺️

My wife and I were married at 25 Fitzwilliam Place last year and recently had a meal at Suesey Street for our wedding anniversary. John and staff took amazing care of us. The food and service are absolutely first class. We will be visiting for many years to come! Cannot recommend highly enough.
D. T.
Went here for a work dinner with a group of about 7 people. We ate on the back patio. Service was attentive and the food was generally good. I had half a lobster, it was good, albeit small. Everyone seemed you enjoy their meals.
Not sure I'd rush back for a personal meal but a good work option.
A. F.
Great service, wonderful food and they even made us a perfect martinez which was off menu. We'll be back!
R.
Great food and awesome service. Nice setting, was worried about a possible dress code given we were travelling very light and didn't pack anything too smart, but no issues at all from the very friendly staff. Could have had a bit more ice cream with the chocolate fondant dessert though 😉
M. M.
Food was delicious. A beautiful blend of seasonal ingredients, tastefully created. Beef was melt in the mouth. The only drawback was a large party that were quite drunk by the time we arrived for our table. Whilst we were in a separate dining area some of that party ended up joining the table beside ours and were so loud we could no longer hear each other speak. But the food and otherwise ambience were well worth it. Will definitely go back for another visit.
S. O.
Have eaten here twice in the past month. Food great the first time but food on my second trip was so so ruined by an awful wine recommendation from our waiter. Could barely bring ourselves to finish the wine! Very unusual! It’s a beautiful restaurant. Menu seems less impressive than last summer though. Hope this won’t slip in standards, abs was a blip because I am a longtime fan....
B. C.
March 2020. The new menu is exquisite french cuisine and the staff are smashing it out of the park. The food revolves around classic French dishes and style. The cooking is as brave as a no-makeup model, is undisguised and resists being camouflaged by unnecessary foams or tidal pools of sauce. Staff are professional yet make you feel welcome and a valued guest.

I organised a party for my wife for 40 people here recently and everyone at and everything about Suesey street were so good I wanted to leave a review. We were looking for a stylish, upmarket venue and tried a number of restaurants we knew and that were recommend to us. I hadnt eaten here before so we went in a couple of months ago for lunch and mentioned to the manager John about our plans. He was excellent, giving us straight forward honest advice about all sorts of things to consider, he allowed us to try a few wines and didn't try and upsell, recommending good value wines which were excellent. The venue has real style from the bar set up to the lighting and even the bathrooms. It gave us what we were looking for and so we booked it a week later. In the lead up the team contacted us and went through various details and then on the night it simply could not have gone better. We were introduced to the team looking after us who were professional but also fun. We had drinks on the terrace, lit with fairy lights etc then moved into a curtained off area for dinner that worked perfectly. We have a friend with mobility issues and they worked around him without making a fuss.
The menu offered was varied and the food was excellent coming out quickly. Much better than I expected considering the number of people ordering steaks - and I'm fussy. They put out extra sides and nobody went hungry. We were left to party well into the early hours after everyone else in the restaurant had left. In summary the staff, food and venue were excellent and I can highly recommend Suesey st for an occasion or just for lunch. I haven't been prompted to leave a review or have anything to do with Suesey st but felt they deserved the recognition.
B. C.
Excellent food, modern setting, tasty cocktails, and nice wine selection. Opportunity to provide advice on wine pairing though. Staff very well trained / attentive, etc.
S. P.
Visited Suesey Street recently for the first time, with a group. Was impressed by the dessert (chocolate mousse). For main I ordered steak, and was told all steaks for the group would be coming out medium. I specifically asked if mine could be cooked medium rare, however was presented with a steak that was more on the well done side of medium. Also, the meat had quite a lot of fat, ended up leaving half the portion on the plate. I feel when paying such prices for the meal, a restaurant should be able to cater for individual choice, in particular when it comes to steak. I wasn't overly impressed overall, likely won't be going back.
C. J.
The super friendly and attentive staff here made the visit really enjoyable. Thanks

I ate in this restaurant last night with my three girlfriends. One of them was celebrating her birthday. The staff were so attentive and professional. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. The music was nice but a little too loud. We had a very enjoyable night and would definitely go back.

Best night I have had in Dublin in a long time, John Helay should be a national treasure
R. D.
Plesant staff and nice surroundings. Very good service. Goat's cheese salad was the best I've ever had but the Rib eye stake was the worst. Wafer thin with a lot of gristle and we were not asked how we'd like it cooked.
N. M.
Service exceptional.
Had the Fish of the Day (Monkfish) and hands down was one of the nicest dishes I’ve had.
The party I was with enjoyed their meals too.
One was vegan and was well catered for.

Seven of us visited for a business dinner at the recommendation of a local Irish colleague. Service was excellent the food was presented very well, and was tasty. Wished there were a few more menu options. The creme brule was especially fab!
Tip: Note, the entrance is down the stairs. We actually walked around the corner and missed it the first time around.
S. K.
The food was of great quality and well prepared. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is a nice place to be in and spend time at.

Have visited this restaurant several times, very cool interior with wonderful staff. The food is superb with a great cocktail and wine list. Their terrace is the best place to sit rain or shine, will be back again soon.

It's underground! The logo outside makes it seem as if it's the street name. The food here was fantastic. I came here for my companies Christmas party. The staff were constantly serving our tables and making sure everything was fine.
E. S.

Decent enough food. Nice service. Good ambiance. I'd go again but wasn't blown away by the food.
R. S. (.
I went to Suesy street to celebrate my friend's birthday, and I have to say I've never been attended to like that before, the attention to detail is just baffling, while serving food they would know exactly where to put the plate for who, though a different person from the one who took the order was serving, I requested a birthday plate via email before I went, and they put the candle on the plate of my friend although they didn't know which one of us was the birthday girl, it only shows that they really do pay attention to every minor detail... The food was incredible, right portion, right pace of serving , someone will fill up your water regularly, the place is very quite and nice, highly recommend

(Translated) Absolute insider tip!
Well hidden in the basement and only discreetly signposted. However, anyone who finds the entrance is greeted and served warmly and with the utmost professionalism.
Very small menu selection, but the product far outshines the rest of the Irish restaurants in a large area.
Very exquisite and classy and you feel slightly underdressed as a 0815 tourist. But the workforce elegantly overlooks it and operates without prejudice and extremely politely! Thank you for that.
!!! Big compliment!!!

Absoluter Geheimtipp!!!
!!! Grosses Kompliment!!!
