Booked this restaurant for Sunday lunch for a Birthday celebration. We could not have been taken care of any better. The setting was lovely, the food incredible (garlic prawns/ goats cheese salad/prawn linguine), and the Staff second to none. Keith was the host with the most, very personable and just a pleasure to talk to. The dessert board had some fab choices too. Highly recommend dining here. thanks for a lovely afternoon

This is my favourite restaurant. Whether it’s a winters night or summer evening you get the same great welcome. It’s like a big hug, in fact he hugs my father each time he arrives! The food is excellent, the service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is unique. Give it a try, the fish is fresh as are the prawns. It’s superb value and a pleasure to visit. We were greeted here this evening like old friends and welcomed into their home by Keith, the main man. Food fabulous...crispy calamari and chicken brassa was wonderful We will. I would normally come here for brunch but tried the dinner tonight and was surprised how tasty it was. Mussels with apple cider cream was gorgeous and black sole for the main, both fantastic. Went back to the waterfront bistro again and had an absolutely fab dinner. The chef (Dennis) produced beautiful food with amazing tastes. The prawn starter is an absolute must have. For mains, any of the specials or anything from the menu will be a treat for the tastebuds. The evening is rounded off by the most genial host. Get to talk to Keith he is exteremly welcoming and friendly and gives everyone a very warm welcome.

Well 7 of us arrived 4 children and 3 adults without a booking at tea time looking for a tasty meal and luckily we met the proprietor who was just full of chrisma and fitted us in and gave us a really great meal mainly beautiful fish and chips which I was longing for as I was on a few hours break from hospital and I got exactly what I wanted . I recommend this restaurant and I will deffinately be going back there again soon.

A favourite place to drop into during the day for my mom and myself. Nice for coffee or light lunch, menu is not extensive but good quality food. Staff are attentive and very friendly. Toilets are always clean and well maintained 😎

A european style restaurant on the shore. Books, pictures, vintage posters as decorations.. Very intimate and cosy, suitable both for dares and family dinners. They serve seafood, soup, steaks etc. Moderate prices, excellent service.

The food was perfectly acceptable, but not worth going out your way for. The waiter was either being overfamiliar or ignoring us at just the wrong moment, I saw others having a good experience and I think it was just bad luck on our part. I'm sure you will enjoy a bit of chat if that is what you have in mind.

(Translated) The place is very nice and welcoming and the staff are polite and competent. The classic Fish and Chips excellent and the soups equally good. However there is a sore point: I ordered a plate of mussels and as soon as I got to the table I realized that something was wrong. The dish gave off a bad smell and in fact I had the confirmation because I had to throw away more than a few mussels and in the end I had the whole dish taken away immediately saying that the seafood gave off a bad smell. They took the dish away without batting an eyelid and apologized for removing that dish from the GG menu. They came to ask me where I came from and I replied that it came from faraway Puglia (Italy), Bari, where we eat all kinds of raw shellfish (from octopus to seafood). (Original) Il posto è molto carino e accogliente e il personale gentile e competente. Il classico Fish and Chips ottimo e le zuppe altrettanto buona. Tuttavia c'è una nota dolente: ho ordinato un piatto di cozze e appena arrivato a tavola mi sono accorta che c'era qualcosa che non andava. Il piatto emanava un cattivo odore e infatti ne ho avuto la conferma perché ho dovuto buttare via più di qualche cozza e alla fine ho fatto portare via il piatto intero dicendo immediatamente che i frutti di mare emanavano un odore cattivo. Hanno portato via il piatto senza battere ciglio e si sono scusati togliendo via dal menù del GG quel piatto. Sono venuti a chiedermi da dove provenissi e ho risposto che proveniva dalla lontana Puglia (Italia), Bari, dove noi mangiamo tutti i tipi di molluschi (dai polpi ai frutti di mare ) crudi.
