Never disappointed. It is now the third time we come to Yamamori and overall it appears to maintain a good quality of services, food and drinks.
We really liked the heated pair back garden and had some good fun with the waiters. We tried a many cocktails and apart the tea martini we were not can of, all the others were pretty good.
We also had a wide range Japas and all was very tasty, healthy and beautifully presented. I think that was a good trade off between cost, quantity and quality.
Considering the space of the restaurant that is a very good default Japanese option in Dublin.

I'm happy we didn't go here for our first restaurant of the trip because we wouldn't have tried any of the other restaurants.
The sashimi and rolls were very fresh and tasted great. The gyoza and the salt grill Irish wagyu were the perfect start to the meal and even after some expensive items was still cheaper than some other places in the area.
We finished with the craic pudding which was a great butterscotch ending.
If you like sushi this is a gem in Dublin.

Ramen broth is warm, creamy and tasteful. Pork is tender and noodles were cooked right! Their sushi was also delicious. Will definitely be back!
R. M.
I love it. The atmosphere. Staff and food. Best Janpanes restaurant so far. Ramen delicious and Temaki with black rice and pork guyoza. Really good guys!
A. K.
A wonderful place to eat and drink with friendly staff, exquisite food and amazing Japanese Samurai armour on Display!
S. M.
Great Japanese restaurant with delicious food. We had Large Omakase, Yaki Soba, soup and Oysters.
Everything was perfect except does the soup have to come with the main meal at the same time.
Omakase was tasty and well prepared, ingredients were fresh and lovely decorated.
Yaki soba was so tasty it was melting in my mouth.
I've tried for the first time Japanese beer by the name Kirin Ichiban and would highly recommend as well.
Would recommend to everybody to visit the restaurant!!

Had an amazing time. Food was amazing, beers was great. The staff was so friendly and very helpful.

The meal was enjoyable, the service was attentive and friendly. Quality of food for the price was acceptable. Would reccomend this as a stop in while enjoying dublin.

Wonderful food. Super fresh. Great service , layout and ambience. I wouldn't eat sushi anywhere else. Sushi very fresh as they have a great turnover.

My favourite restaurant in Dublin! Always puts me in a good mood! Ordered norimaki, takoyaki(octopus balls) and bannofee pie.
F. V.
Great service and delicious food. Thought the pie came with IceCream but it was butter, unfortunately. I’d recommend.

Star service, super accommodating staff! So happy to have visited on the day of dine-in reopening.
I had the Avocado Ramen and my friend had the Seafood Ramen – both super and great portion sizes too (neither too big or too small)! Shared the tofu green tea cheesecake afterwards which was served up halved for us and with two spoons, again beautifully presented and a perfect finish to a delicious meal.
Dinner and dessert took us the 1hr30 allocated in our reservation so all worked out well.
We'll def be back again and look forward to sharing the white chocolate and miso caramel cheesecake!

A great place to have sushi at. Lovely staff 🥰. The only thing I could mention is the service charge could be a bit less but other than that was all so good. Definitely recommend it 👌
C. T.
Great food and atmosphere. We ordered wagyu gyozas, vegetable tempura, salmon nigiri and ebi dragon norimaki, all the food was delicious. Perfect date night!
N. M.
Gorgeous food, lovely service and delicious cocktails.
Vegan sushi and bento were amazing.
C. V.
The restaurant is nice, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, but the portions are very small and the price is not cheap, I have eaten in other sushi restaurants before and the price and the portions are better, if you are hungry, the portions will not be enough and you will end up spending more, but despite that , in general ok
E. W.
Fantastic food, nice and fast service. Decent prices.
T. M.
Delicious Fresh Tasty Food!! Beautiful Restaurant! We were waiting a short while to be served as we were sat out the back and forgotten about, but after we ordered our food it came promptly and it was great!
We will definitely be back!! Can't wait to try something new😄
M. P.
Outstanding quality and fresh ingredients. Restaurant reopened with social distancing in place, hand sanitisers available and fresh air in the dining area despite open kitchen. Dinner prices not the lowest but fully justified by the quality. Portion sizes appropriate. Advanced booking highly recommended. Staff very friendly and not annoying with "is everything ok?"
A. T.
Amazing food, staff and well run in the current times.
I felt comfortable and the atmosphere was lovely.
Amazing value for money 👌
Would highly recommend 👍

We tried lunch menu which was really tasty and for a good price. Staff is friendly and everything went fast. We recommend!

This place was amazing!
First, we wanted Sushi from Yamamori South City but needed outdoor dining, so the waitress there booked an outdoor spot for us at North City. The waiting staff were all very skilled (not like most other restaurants which have inexperienced teenagers) and did not make one mistake, but were also very knowledgeable about food allergens and made accommodations to make sure everything served would be gluten free. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The ambience of the place was even better - the decor is insanely good! Everything was clean and presentable. The only thing wrong was they ran out of Red Rice beer, but I'll live with that. Will be back very soon!
N. S.
Great place with good atmosphere. we ended up staying longer for drinks because they were very nice. The food was lovely, cocktails are from 10 euro and main dish from 20 euro. I would recommend it
L. K.
Really tasty food, a small bit on the expensive side but otherwise very nice.
V. L.
Delicious food, fantastic service and an absolute treat! Only downside is the wine list is expensive.
L. S.
Best of and good foods menus.lovely Japanese restaurant in Dublin
L. B.
Such a lovely place! Firstly, the staff are very friendly and the lady who served us was very polite and helped us choose few things from the menu. Food is delicious, everything we got was amazing. Great experience overall and definitely a place where I would go back!
A.
Absolutely amazing food, very close to what it would taste like in Japan!
Definitely worth the price ✨
Staff was very nice and the place itself has a very cozy atmosphere with great decorations
D. B.
Fantastic meal here for the first rime in 2 years. Service was great, food was delicious. The menu is unreal, took 10 mins to go through it to pick. You will really enjoy it if you go.
P.
Really good food, authentic Japanese cuisine, one star removed as the second time the portion size was much smaller for the seafood Bento than it was the first time I visited. Really good food and excellent gluten free and vegan options.
P. M.
Chilled friendly slightly more mature (!) Oriented venue.
Bohemian decor recently renovated, and looking great!
Spacious smoking area (see photos).
Recommend a visit.

I dine here a lot and usually I have loads of good things to say to everyone about my dining experience. The food is always good and I always say Yamamori Sushi is my favourite restaurant. I always leave a minimum 15% tip for the servers.
However I must say that today’s service wasn’t really the best. We were seated beside the door which let in an unpleasant breeze every time it opened. We asked to move to a different table but the server said “there’s nobody outside so the door won’t be opened”. Alright, fine we stay where we are. 10 minutes later, two tables sat outside and guess what? Breeze in our faces every single time someone opened the door.
On top of that, we ordered 3 mains, and some sushi to share which we asked for it to be served together. All the food was served but one of the mains (the seafood bento). We waited nearly 40minutes for the seafood bento in total. I understand that we ordered quite a lot and that it’s normal that there would be a wait, but I had to remind the server that there’s a seafood bento that we haven’t received, he came back 5 minutes later and said “it’s on the way”. Although we were not in a rush to go anywhere but it’s very unreasonable how there’s no explanation why the seafood bento came 20 minutes after everything else. My guest had nothing to eat for the first 40 minutes as he’s not very fond of sushi.
Although service was very disappointing this visit but at the end we still left a 10% tip for the servers. This won’t stop me from coming back because Yamamori Sushi still is one of my favourite restaurants and I love the food but I just wanted to rant about the disappointing experience today. It’s nothing personal.
A. S.
Absolutely love the food, fresh, authentic. I got 2 portions of sashimi moriwase, eel sushi and agedashi tofu. Downside is the price, but it is fine as a treat once in a while. Would love to go back to dine in door soon.
C. G.
Seems to be a very highly rated place,. It I don't actually think sushi is their forte. The yakitori and gyoza we're delicious, but the sushi was made with wayyy too much rice. The price point is pretty good though! Two people ate for about €70
D. D.
Came here for some dessert and drinks with my friends. I ordered the craic pudding (ice cream with miso caramel and sweet potato crisps) and loved it, my friend enjoyed the ice creams he got too. Excellent service as well, we were unsure of what drinks to get but our server gave us some lovely recommendations (the Nikka Sour and the €30 sake especially). Overall had a great time and would come here again!
P. P.
Lovely, friendly staff. Food is absolutely amazing and atmosphere is great. I would definitely recommend! My favourite restaurant in Dublin.

I got to this place for years now ... so it has its up and downs and some inconsistencies with food quality, this can happen over a period of 5 years. One thing I can say though, food is overall amazing in the place always fresh! Last night we have a lovely dinner and the salad wasn’t quite right ... as I mentioned it to the barman he called the manager and he provided us with a class A service, changed the portion and made sure it was up to the normal standards. Absolutely recommend this place because the kitchen is excel and the service is great 👍
C. D.
Had a walk in dinner here and absolutely loved it! I'm a vegan and there were plenty of options available on the menu (including the tofu steak at the top of the photo 😋) and the service from Suzy was excellent. Have always been meaning to try this chain of restaurants and after today I'll certainly be back again soon!
M. W.
Very modern and fashionable space in front combined with kind of canteen with long tables on the back. I just love baskets from cockfights used as a lamp shades, thoughtful golden Buddhas faces and really intimate box spaces. Nice selection of interesting Japanese alcohols, especially Japanese whisky is worth to try! Also supertalented DJ, whivh would serve you mix of fresh but not overheard music.
Highly recommend.
M. O.
Lovely special birthday celebration. My first time here I will definitely be back. Great food, service and atmosphere.
C. K. S.
Amazing! I wish they had takoyaki still
P. C.
Beautiful Japanese food. Friendly service and nice heated and covered outdoor area at the rear. Lunchtime menu is good value for money.
D. P.
Incredible place! Awesome food, great drinks!
C. B.
Top notch cuisine, good sake, excellent service, chef did special requests, bang on. The loo is a genuine Thomas Crapper number 814 high level tank model which adds a special touch to the experience.
S. M.
Possibly my favourite place to go in all of Dublin. Staff are always so kind and helpful- the food is just ridiculous and a tankard of Kirin has never tasted so good.
Rainbow Chef Special Norimaki…you’ll thank me later.
A. H. A.
Lovely place, great atmosphere and nice food. Must have if you like Japanese cuisine.
C. (.
What a wonderful and heart-warming experience. We had authentic Japanese sushi and delicious desserts here. Kayoko is a star!
V. Y.
I had the ramen, lunch menu actually was reasonably priced, not too expensive, servers were nice as well, the whole experience was positive there was just nothing exceptional that really stood out to me, the ramen was nice but I could say I've had better, but I liked the ambiance and great selection of drinks.
W. F. M.
Delicious japanese food with a very nice interior. Service was friendly and fast! Portions are filling! Priced just slightly higher than I would have liked.
J. P.
One of the best and authentic Japanese restaurant in town. Great customer service and amazing food as usual. This is our go to place for dinners.
N. T.
Lovely food served here. I often eat Japanese food around Dublin city and can without a doubt say that this is one of my favourites. The food here is always consistent and great. We got the tempura seafood platter, salmon sushi and chicken katsu curry. The atmosphere is great. Although it's busy you can still enjoy your date comfortably. Points are lovely here and the dessert is to die for.
R. C.
Great food, great hospitality and great ambience.
We loved everything and had a great time :)
Can't wait to come back!
W. C.
Food and drinks were pretty good , definitely on the pricey side and with small portions but a good experience overall
T. B.
Very nice Japanese restaurant in the heart of Dublin. Perfect after a walk in the city (temple bar and other nice neighborhood) and crossing the Liffey river.
Prices are relatively expensive but the quality of the food is equally high.
The glass of wine is within the industry standards in Dublin city centre.
Here we had two sets of norimaki and one set of special norimaki.
The service was prompt and friendly. Always there to check if we were ok but without overdoing it.
The only negative point to this place is that you might smell a bit like food as the kitchen is open to the restaurant. But that also gives a very nice atmosphere to the place itself.
D. O. C.
Stopped for a late lunch and left with a food coma! Below is pork belly ramen, salmon and avocado roll with the Vegan delight on top. Great service and delicious food 👍🏻
J. L. L.
If you love Japanese food, you'll love this place. They're not cheap but food is delicious. They have good selection of sushi, noodles and rice dishes. Some waiters/waitresses are nice but some are not so friendly and not very attentive you the costumers needs.
F. M.
Recently we had bad experience in our favourite restaurant, I must say that Yamamori acted very fast and they contacted me .. They where very sorry and I must say they make me fell like appreciate costumer.?Especially big thanks to lovely Italian girl ,,.( manager)
Big thanks from
Fran and Claire

Incredibly welcoming experience and calming environment for a evening meal with close family for Father's Day. Food was perfectly presented and deliciously balanced. Recommendations from staff for dietary needs and taste, perfect.
Highly recommend it
L. T.
Love this restaurant, everything in the menu is well tasty and it's served pretty fast. I had ramen during my last visit and it didn't dissapoint. The broth was full of flavour, exactly what you need on a cold and rainny day. The sushi is also very good, and I also recommend the karubi beef (a pot of wild rice with veggies, a steak and a fried egg) and the chicken katsu curry. Staff are very friendly and efficient.
P.
Good place. Nice atmosphere. A little higher price tier, but worth it for special occasions.
É. S. B.
Best sushi in Dublin I’ve found. The place itself is very nice and is big enough that it always has seats available. Wide selection of sushi and good cocktails too.
u.
The atmosphere and the surroundings of the restaurant is quite basic.. however the food is delicious, although, I have ordered the Sashimi Salad which was super tasty, along with that I have ordered sushi, which were delicious yet very poor condition. The sushi were not rolled properly, so I was not able to handle it with sticks, had to use a fork due to the fact that they were falling apart completely..
Also I definitely did not enjoy the restaurant's staff roaming around and continuesly staring at my plate

Nice restaurant with lovely decore.
Plenty of food options; we tried Norimaki sushi which comes with the wild (black) rice, it was good but I prefer regular sushi rice for sushi! I also tried the chicken teriyaki and my friend hd some noodles and ramen. Everything was tasty but in my opinion (felt) really salty.
I would recommend to try out and see for yourself.:)
M. R.
I liked it very much.
Good food, nice location.
All was good but Tempura was excellent!
e. l.
Yamamori is my favourite restaurant since it first opened on George's Street.
I live in Co Clare and love to go to Yamamori when in Dublin. Our favourite place, on the Quays, to meet up with friends and eat delicious Vegan food. Clean environment. Friendly helpful and efficient staff. Wish there was a branch in Clare.👍😋
A. S.
Best spot I’ve found for sushi in Dublin. Rolls come automatically with black rice, if you prefer white you must specify!
A. B.
Can be better yesterday big plater for €75 but whit bottle wine it’s not really impress with wine not good , black rices so dry ,waiters some girls from Korea ,nice bug not speaking in English cocktails average,
ice cream good , beer craft nice, chefs made really nice food
M. F.
I was fortunate to enjoy lunch on one day this week & dinner on another in the restaurant, after a long time without it , I had forgotten how attentive the staff are & how great the food is , thanks to kitchen & front of house people .
C. O.
Great Japanese food with a load of vegetarian options. Larger mains if you're hungry or Japanese tapas make it a good choice for groups or date night. Usually quite busy so it can be worth booking if you've a larger group. Centrally located. A staple of Dublin at this point.
D. C.
Very tasty, friendly staff and nice beer - had the Wicklow red ale. Salmon and crram cheese along with avocado and mango seaweed/rice roles were excellent. Only minor critique is that some options on the menu were for 8 pieces, which is great when in a group, but was a lot of the same thing when ordered on its own.
J. B. H.
Good vegetarian special (bento box) (I think it was about 17 Eur - currently a little above my budget perhaps). Very nice interior with some full size Buddha(like) statues. Has its own bar. Also had vegetarian sushi, but I didn't try it. Friendly staff.
T. M.
I love Ramen here 🍜😍 Really yummy! I been thousand times for Ramen 😋 Strongly recommended! 😎
a. m.
Nice food if a bit expensive. The staff were lovely but they were quite busy so occasionally we had to wait a while.
J. C.
Drinks Bar + Amazing Japanese food. Staff here are always very accommodating and friendly.
Would highly recommend the Dragon Roll for Sushi and the Beef Steak Tantanmen Ramen (if you like a light spicey broth). The Beef is a perfectly grilled steak, sliced into the thick broth .. fantastic!
D. B.
Don't look any further. This is the best ramen in Dublin! Portions are large and a hot noodle soup is exactly what you'd want after a rainy day.
Try to avoid the noisy crowd and come in for lunch or, alternatively, ask to get seated at the bar instead.
C. D.
Really nice staff and well set up for safe dining. Great homemade cocktails and delicious food.
T.
Such a great japanese food ! I come back everytime I go to Dublin
E. M.
Food was great, service were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves. Had bento boxes, sake was nice. Craic dessert was sublime with miso caramel sauce.
p.
The food was good but the portions were small and expensive. The service was excellent. I do not think I visit again.

Great place. Amazing food. Can't wait to go back.
P. Z.
Excellent sushi, nice interior, extremely helpful staff. Portions are very large. It was the first time when I tasted brown rice sushi
S. M.
Excellent selection of food, well prepared and tasty. Service is attentive and friendly
A. W.
Great place to have some sushi or ramen. Sushi looks really good and fish is nice and fresh. Staff is great, handles the croud perfectly! Had a nice lunch and recommend the plum wine for dessert.
P. J.
Went there for lunch. We had the bento box and a ramen soup. Was very delicious and would recommend it anytime.
M. D.
Amazing food ! Great place as well, much brighter than the one down in the south.
R. G.
Fresh and tasty food, excellent service. I'll be returning next time I'm down that way.
M. W.
Truly marvellous and it has been for many years. Great staff, great menu and great value. One of the best.
V. R.
Best sushi in Dublin!
Very nice staff!
Well, the 5 stars 😁
H. S.
Great food but only recommend it for lunch as you pay almost double for dinner for the same food
L. C.
My family have been going to the Yamamori restaurants for the last 22 years or something...since I was a little kid. usually I get the Kastsu Curry or a Ramin soup with a side of the delicious pork Gyoza (my addiction as a child) but today I tried the Tatsuat chicken for the first time...😋 chicken in a Light tempura style batter with soy/ginger sweet sauce, it was super yummy! But I feel like I could pop right now, I think I ate too fast 😶
Love this place!
R. O.
Excellent food with a range of dishes. No wonder it is so busy!
L. F.
Had mine & my boyfriend’s birthday here last weekend & it was absolutely perfect! There were 10 of us in total & the staff were very nice & helpful. The food is amazing - some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We then moved from the restaurant into the bar/club out the back of the venue which was still excellent. Great music & drinks! Cocktails were fab too. 10/10 love this place & would 100% recommend coming here.
J. P.
Am a long time regular of Yamamouri North City. The food is excellent and a high standard is constantly maintained. Throughout the restaurant there is a convivial ambience with staff being especially friendly.
K. I.
Delicious food and excellent service, we will definitely be back! Many thanks to the waiters for their patience with me being a bit difficult client!!
P. L.
Nice Japanese food. The concept of Japas (Japanese Tapas) allows you to taste many different flavours. Lovely whiskey assortment.
J. O. D.
Food is always amazing here. Best go in before 4pm to get the early bird menu.
A. O.
Brilliant food and amazing cocktails and beers. The Spicy Asian is the best one. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Dublin. Great for takeaway too!
K. C.
Stunning food, lovely service, great atmosphere.
S. B.

L. G.
Nice foods and fast service. My favorite here is Bento set and Tempura.
U. K.
Lunch without booking . The lace was packet ,service very fast and lunch was excellent.
j. g.
Always fantastic ambience, brilliant staff and excellent food.
A. M.
Have eaten here loads and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it doesn't translate to take away. I ordered the vegi Bento box. The food was just really boring. Couldn't be bothered finishing it. So disappointing as I want to support restaurants that I like at this time.
c. I.
Hands down for customer service! Im just grateful and delighted. I ordered today for home delivery and unfortunately there were some isssues but they made up for it! Very professional and high class restaurant that truly gives excellent service. We wouldn't mind waiting for the food as it was very worth it. This is our favourite Japanese restaurant here in Dublin. Good job to all the staff!
A. T.
The seafood platter for two was amaaazing. The staff is genuinely sweet and nice. And Kung Fu Panda playing in the background, awesome!.:-)
J. S.
The Best sushi 🍣
P. R. G.
Love this place. The lemonade with a shot of rum it's a must and the vietnamese coffee too.
They have good options for vegetarians.
The staff is friendly.
E. Z.
Nice ambiance but price is too much for the food
N.
A quite passable Japanese dining experience. The quality of the food and service are both great but not the best value for money in their price range. Expect about €20 for a main, €12 for a cocktail and varying prices for different sushi options
A. P.
My favourite chicken ramani noodles amazing as always
P. S.
Good food, ok atmosphere.
W. W.
Nice decoration and foods. Will definitely go back again. Recommended.
L. L. (.
Amazing cocktails , wow wow wow , just the right blend smoothness and kick your looking for ... with the most authentic Japanese food I’ve ever had here in Dublin Ireland ... this is my go to spot for a very nice experience ... inside seating and dining , for me is Upto standard . With the most friendly staff - pre and post COVID .... so yes I recommend. For value try lunch deals
T. V.
It was a perfect place to celebrate my friend's birthday. Sushi 5*
S. M.
Always on point!! Pop'd in for a quick lunch and was fed an happy all in 25 minutes.
J. W.
Got 2 bento boxes taje away. Very tasty food but portion sizes seemed smaller.
M. G.
Was at a 40th birthday party here at the weekend. The food was simply amazing. Fantastic presentation, really delicious sushi and an incredible variety of seafood and meat dishes. A feast to satisfy all palates. The service was friendly and timely without being rushed. Overall a great night - great food, friendly service and great company. One to remember the next time I’m in charge of choosing the venue for a night out.

Amazing restaurant
R. H.
Awesome authentic Japanese cuisine! Brilliant choice on menu and gorgeous food. Staff very welcoming and helpful, and atmosphere great. Suitable for any age, locals, students, professionals, tourists, musicians etc. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for my first amazing experience of Japanese food!
A. P.
This is probably my favourite restaurant in town. I've been a customer for over 4 years and I love how good the food, drink, environment, music, and service is, consistently. Tasteful and unpretentious.
R. R.
The whole environment is fine. Waiter service is not bad. But the food is not that good for me. I mean, just not worth it. All in all, it’s fine
S. M.
Great place to eat.... FAB food and super friendly atmosphere and staff!!! Highly recommended.
B. L.
The food and drinks were exceptional and the staff were very friendly
A. F.
Every work gathering, be it Christmas parties, birthdays, leaving parties or just a well needed catch up, we have is in this restaurant. Every visit is wonderful, every dish delicious and every staff member unforgettable. Not one person at the table is ever even slightly unsatisfied. Honestly, I can not recommend it more. I genuinely look forward to each visit, I'm already pre-planning my next order!
J. C.
Amazing food, great service with a lovely atmosphere
P. K.
Delicious food (Black cod) and good service!
S. F.
Food is always great in really any Yamamori place I've been to. It's best when it's quiet for me but never a bad experience really.
A. F.
We had an awesome night in Yamamori for a 40th birthday. Ordered lots of different dishes and shared them between us. Was a delicious feast of food and service was superb. There was a great really atmosphere and we enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to stay on and go to night club. Excellent night out.
L. T.
I love this place. Sushi is very tasty, friendly staff, variaty on the menu, reasonably priced
A. F.
I have visited Yamamori a good number of times and I have yet to be disappointed!
The food is excellent, the drinks are fantastic, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and will accommodate you to your needs upon request!
You got a loud table behind you? No worries, just ask to be reseated!
I would absolutely recommend this place, as the value for money is insane compared to other sushi places in Dublin! I love their contemporary twist to sushi to make it more appealing for new sushi eaters - don’t be scared they definitely have traditional choices too.
Vegan or vegetarian? Not a worry, they have anything and everything for your dietary needs!
You like a few drinks? Plenty of booze choice from beer to sake to wine!
Yamamori is a must visit if you like good sushi and good fun!
J. M.
One of our favourite sushi/Japanese restaurants ever. We love to visit when we're in Dublin. I absolutely love the sushi rolls with the black rice and they do delicious ramen.
L. O. (.
A little expensive for dinner, but great quality food.
M. K.
My absolute favourite restaurant...anywhere! I impress my friends time and time again when I introduce them to Yamamori! The large interior is quite literally...breath taking...so classy. Food is amazing and incredibly well priced (I would have happily paid double... especially considering the beautiful décor and service. Many single people also go there as it's a comfortable atmosphere..alone or in company!
L. K.
It has been few years since I ate here. I still remember the taste of Sushi which at the time was the best I found in Dublin. So the food is still good and restaurant busy. We were hungry so did not manage to take pictures 😉 I recommend if you like sushi. It tastes good and it was prepared correctly.
P. P.
Excellent sushi place. Very nice waiters. Correct quantity. Can be a bit expensive but can't expect better for this quality of Japanese food in Dublin. Very nice Japanese atmosphere. Maybe I will try an other one next time but I saved this one anyway!
G. K.
Great food, great staff, great value - can't fault it!
C. K.
Fantastic food, lovely setting and really helpful and friendly staff
J. R.
Best bento boxes around, lunch time bento great value for money and always something different everyday
E. M.
Nice atmosphere and decent food. The restaurant is MUCH bigger than you would expect from the road. We arrived at 6 on a busy Saturday without a reservation and they found a space for us. I didn't know what to expect from the menu but there was something there for everyone in the group. The Japanese craft beers were also very nice. Service was relativly quick and the food was good.
F. J.
Cheaper than I remember, 20 euro buys you a good sized dinner and they have a couple of bars inside. Decent whiskey selection. Docking a star as the bar man overcharged me 4 euro on a whiskey and the waiter forgot to bring us the water we requested. I don't think that is standard operating policy but I can't leave it out either. I'll be going back again, the deserts are interesting try the craic tart it should not work but somehow does.
A. P.
Excellent menu. Even with the healthy options. My meal was delish. Lunch menu.
E. T.
Crawdy, lively and tasty! There is a special charm to this place and what's most important the food is very tasty. It was 6 of us plus some kids it was a super busy day and we didn't have to wait long, the order wasn't mixed up and we have a great time.
A. D. d. S.
Very good food. Lovely place.
D. F.
Staff were patient with my difficult to please, 90 year old, hard of hearing vegetarian mother who was in a grumpy enough mood to keep swiping back the tip but still had to begrudgingly allow that the Tofu Steak was terrific.
Overall, the sushi is decent, large servings, great atmosphere and location. Good selection of vegetarian dishes and some nice long benches for family style dining.
T. M.
Great place for great food. Good for students that are sick of chipper food and pub grub. Only around €12.50 for a decent meal. And the bento box (a taster of 4 different meals)
is only a tenner! Great alternative to the likes of Eddie Rockets, and roughly the same price! Would highly recommend!

Went as a couple for an early dinner. Had the most incredible sushi rolls to start, the spider and crayfish with spicy mayonnaise, easily the best sushi I have ever had. I had a bento box for main which was very good value and gave you a little taste of lots of things seeing as I couldn't choose from the main menu! The service was very good if not at times a little annoying... Every time you said no don't worry about it he would bring it anyway!
N. B.
Authentic Japanese cuisine. From sushi to Ramen all the dishes I've tried so far were amazing.
A. N.
Amazing service amd food. I would always comeback.
R.
An absolutely wonderful restaurant. You can't order badly here as everything is delicious, fresh, you can taste the care with which it is cooked. My last trip to Yamamori was by myself for lunch and I was so delighted with my yasai tempura and black rice that I kept doing a little dance in my seat, I couldn't help it. The food here makes me greatful for having tastebuds. I've been with larger groups of friends and one on one dinners and the food and service are fantastic every time. The ginger icecream is also something I would highly recommend. The bento is great value, especially if you don't like having to limit your choices, and they come with almost too much between the sushi and the miso and the various other bits haha!
J. O.
stumbled along this place and so happy that we did. The food was amazing and so full of flavor. Staff was so welcoming and very pleasant. definitely will be going back to this treasure.
T. K. B.
After being first time there I'm keep coming back. Now I'm recommending to all my friends.
They have great menu, huge portions and good prices to. Food is just amazing and staff so helpful. Banoffe Pie was out of heaven, actually everything I ordered.🤤
보.
I didn't try to have anything. I just got in the meet-up
R.
Great spot for food
We booked a table in the outdoor area, when we arrived the booking never existed not sure who make the mistake me or the restaurant but they were more than helpful and made sure they got us a table
Food was amazing, definitely try the tempura haddock absolutely gorgeous
W. R.
Giving 4 stars for one reason, and one reason only, prices! The food is very good but not to the prices there have gone mad in my opinion. I am telling as an old customer (my first time there was around 8 years ago). I'd recommend the place if you are not really worried about spending a big premium for sushi, after all, Yamamori is a good place to go and next to temple bar.
K. A. G.
Delicious, excellent. Lovely restaurant.
F. B.
Love Yamamori. We've been to all the venues but the restaurant on the quays is our favourite. We've been on dates, with friends, family, with the kids, quick bites to eat and celebrations... we have never been disappointed. Delicious authentic food and fantastic friendly staff and service everytime. It's making me hungry just writing this 🍣🍤🍥
J. H.
I could go on at length about the beautiful and surprisingly spacious interior of the restaurant, the quick and friendly service, the well presented and delicious food, but instead I will just say this: if you go, order the duck leg and mango chutney. My god. The duck leg. Do yourself a favour, it's quite possibly the greatest thing I've ever eaten. Unbelievable.
M. M.
This sushi restaurant is the best in Dublin. I found it not very expensive and the sushi is fresh and tasty. The food menu is bomb too, you can get proper tasty Japanese food if you're not a sushi lover but I loved everything. The staff is very lovely and polite and the place is spacious and clean and very much family friendly. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back
H. B.
Finally getting back into town for a very long awaited Yamamori. Three very happy kiddos being back here. We have Ben as our server and he has been so helpful and we know he is smiling behind his covid mask! ❤️❤️
B. D.
While everyone talks how good Yamamori is... I don't think it actually is. It was very pricey, food was okay but I expected something much better. Also waitress wasn't really good. She messed up our change and made us wait for a long time. Decorations are awesome, but it's really dark inside so you can barely see anything.
L. K.
Best Japanese cuisine in Dublin County area!!
G. S.
Great service. Yum! Excellent sushi. Love the black rice. Nice twist. The cake was a bit dry but nice touch with the salted caramel ice cream. We love this place for a date night
A. V.
Great restaurant - authentically Japanese (starting from the interior and finishing with the staff), excellent choice of authentic foods and drinks with original ingredients, nice atmosphere and interesting interior design. Considering the quality of the food and its location, it's really cheap.
Overall - great value for money, unforgettable experience!
K. B.
Great place with nice seafood.
C. M.
Excellent sushi restaurant with lovely staff and interior. They had a nice Japanese twist on some classical cocktails which was a nice touch and a pretty decent drink selection. We requested to change table as the seats were very low and the table was very high - but the alternative wasn’t great. However, this place has outstanding sushi and sashimi - without a doubt the best in Dublin.
They had an interesting take on Japanese tapas (Japas) which was inventive and all food was presented well.
m. p. d.
Perfect. Service very good, fast and the food was sublime.
a. k.
So impressed with the food and the Value! Great experience
K. K.
Had a romantic meal with my husband in Yamamori along the quays and the food was out of this world. It was so tasty and fresh. The waiter was friendly, fast and knew his stuff when we asked him information on the dishes. The vibe and atmosphere in there was funky, but warm and cosy at the same time. Oh and the wine menu was pretty impressive too. If you want to ever have the best date night out, then I recommend Yamamori on the North Side.
N. a.
This is the best place to take someone on a date. The decoration is wonderful and staff are great! Order does not come late and there’s lots of variety. I give it a 4 star though because I’ve had better sushi elsewhere. Not saying the sushi is bad because it’s not bad, just saying that this restaurant serves delicious sushi but I’ve had better.
C. C.
Fantastic! Superb food and drinks.
s. p.
Yamamori has always been a favourite of mine and began my love for sushi and japanese cuisine. The people are amazing they make you feel so welcome and even remember you after a few visits. Special shout out to Suki for always remembering us and giving us a discount to go to tengu (the back bar) after our meal for a few cocktails and some good tunes 💕
Z. G.
Great food, good and fast service. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, almost upscale with a cozy and refined armosphere. Super central. I will definitely come back. 100% recommend.
1. m.
The best chicken katsu curry in town and don’t even try to doubt it. They have this amazing beer Hitachino! Love this place and I m regular customer here. Restaurant keeps high quality throughout those years when I was here.
D. S. O.
Indisputably - Best sushi in Dublin! :)
v.
Best sushi I have ever tried! The flavours are out of this world. Order any of the sushi specials and you won't be sorry. I even took my boyfriend who is not a fish eater in there and he had a lovely teriyaki steak he said it was very good. :)
P. C.
I have come here for a while and for me it is the best place to eat sushi I ever know. There is plenty of space. Good for families or groups of friend. The decoration is beautiful and the staff is amazing. I really high recommend to try this restaurant.
R. C.
Words cannot describe the taste explosion in every bite. Incredibly creative cooking, putting things together that would never occur to me. Expensive-ish but well worth it, and the staff couldn't be nicer. Make Yamamori your regular treat.
R. M.
My boyfriend and I went for dinner this eve before going to a show in the city. It was one of the nicest meals we have had out in a long time. the service was excellent, the food was out of this world, will defo be back 👍
S. C.
Good place , but bit over priced .
V. R.
Great place to eat Japanese food! Nigiri with black rice is great, in the beginning I was reluctant to accept the suggestion but as soon as I taste it, didn't regret! Sashimi with tuna and salmon very tasty! I had the dish: Moriawase (sushi platter).. my point of view, just for one... 😋
J. A. W.
The place looks nice but the food is expensive (compared to other sushi places) and it was just ok. I paid almost 24 for a teriyaki chicken with almost no teriyaki sauce and the rice wasn't good neither. It's when you said "how was it?" And the only thing you can say is "meh". I wouldn't pay that much for something that is not good enough...
b. g. x.
What can I say, stopped by with not much expedition and came out blown away. The sushi was on point, fish fresh and preparation was solid. GF’s Ramen was also to her liking, and a shared dish of Ebi Gyoza was really tasty. Their green tea is also smooth and goes down exceptionally well.
I’d recommend visiting here for some A grade sushi. Be prepared to spend a little but what I did is order a little and then add more until I was full.
L. M.
Great selection of Japanese food here in a nice open setting. Caters well for large groups too with long tables. Service is always good and if you can't decide what to order I recommend the lunch or dinner bento box with comes with rice, miso soup sushi and a selection of other delicious dishes. It changes daily, costs around 20euro and is guaranteed to fill you up.
C. D.
Lovely Japanese restaurant really nice food and great decor! They serve black rice with the sushi rolls which I think is a nice healthy touch. Cool whiskey bar to with lovely staff and a great selection. I would recommend this restaurant!
t. d. c.
The food is fantastic, well worth the price for the quality and freshness of what you get in return. Lunch is quiet and relaxing, with a much more lively tone around dinnertime, particularly approaching and on weekends. Our group of 3 walked in at 7:30pm on a Friday night and were seated in under 4 minutes.
J.
Always good. Service is fast and food is always fresh. Only one thing is that when you order a drink as an aperitive, generally the main course follow very shortly after. It'd be great to have the time to enjoy the drink before eating.
M. B.
Amazing food! Best noodles 🤤
D. K.
Had wonderful teriyaki chicken here and lovely cucumber sushi. Their lemonade is very nice. Prices are decent and wasn't too busy. Could be a little bit quieter but that's just my preference. Would like to visit again.
R. S.
The service was great and food was lovely. Only downside were slightly small portion sizes based vs cost. Would still go back.
M. M. D. C.
Food was very fresh and service was ok. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice but a bit loud and the prices can be perceived slightly inflated. I'll go back if I have to but won't be my first sushi choice in Dublin
D. A.
A great looking restaurant in a central location. There's a small bar if you're waiting for a table and plenty of room for groups.
Menu is wide and varied with sushi, vegetarian and cooked options aplenty.
It's not a cheap place to eat and portions aren't huge but you can get great value with the lunch and dinner Bento boxes which are very generous and keenly priced.
L. #.
Cha Han was extremely nice, well cooked and superbly presented. The tofu steak was well presented but it was not my cup of tea...gorgeous the mango and mint sauce tho. Nice and romantic atmosphere. I would recommend it for sure!
a. m. d.
Fab food, amazing atmosphere and staff. Cocktails are the best around.
K. H.
Food was amazing! Layout of the back booths is odd with the servers having to circle multiple times to hear everyone's order. We asked three times for the music to be turned down, but no dice.
M. S. J.
Great authentic japanese food! Reservation required!
A. Q.
A regular weekend lunch spot for me and my friends. They have a really great lunch menu, a delicious if a little pricey bento menu, and the main menu. Most classic Japanese dishes are available as well as some other interesting items. They have a nice selection of Hitachino beers too- I recommend the classic and red ales. Its nice to have a few Japanese restaurants that aren't just sushi bars in Dublin!
A.
Great local spot for Japanese style food. Affordable and usually quick service. Would advise pre-booking to be sure you will get a table without a wait, especially with larger groups.
T. C.
Best sushi in Dublin! The food comes out so so fast! Some plates can be quite expensive but worth it. I always go for the 'Spider' plate which is crab. The lychee cocktail is my favourite. Do try to book in advance as it gets so busy on the weekends.
L. l.
Best seafood Ramen, really good seaweed salad and the sushi is great.
Nice variety of drinks and the spacious restaurant can fit quite a number of people.
The outside seating is great for the summertime
P. P.
Sushi is, surprisingly for a city on the water, generally not very good in Dublin. Yamamori is possibly the one exception. The "protein rice" is a great twist for experienced sushi eaters tired of the same-old-same-old even if the lack of inventive rolls on the menu is not. The service is consistently good and seeing the same waitstaff visit after visit suggests why. Our family occasionally tries a different sushi restaurant to see if anything has changed but Yamamori is the best, has been our go-to for the last two years, and will be for the foreseeable future.
W. O.
Service was friendly, sushi was excellent will definitely be returning just for that, my Ramen was tasty and the bento box the Mrs got was good value. My only gripe was the lack of any decent chilli sauce.
L. Q.
Came here with a group of friends last week. Found the food to be equally delicious as the George's Street restaurant, but the atmosphere to be far inferior. I ordered the vegetarian bento box and all was scrummy. I was disappointed by the loudness of the place though. It was literally impossible to hold a conversation. We are all in our early thirties but felt very old complaining about the volume of the music!
A. C.
Really cool atmosphere! Such a cool building. Sushi is good and not over priced, but the dinner menu was a little too expensive. Got a noodle dish one time and not worth how much I paid for it.
A. Q.
Delicious food made fresh but at a premium price of course. The gyoza was about a tenner but was a small portion. I ordered a yamonade (Yamamori lemonade) but the waiter didn't know what I meant until I said lemonade... I had a chicken teriyaki which was delicious but be aware that there are drumsticks in there too so there's bones.
Covid wise I was a bit surprised at the lack of distance between tables, it seemed like it was normal and the wait staff had no masks. Hand sanitizer was readily available, but the bathrooms only had hand dryers instead of paper towels which is what the sign in the bathroom said to use. I saw a laser thermometer on the wait staffs station at the entrance but it wasn't used on us when entering. The menus were laminated but it also said online we would be using QR code linked menus but we didn't have a chance to use those.
The desserts we had were absolutely delicious and was very happy with the quality of those but I think I would have felt more comfortable with more restrictive environment for covid.
E. O. G.
Went in for a Bento Box at lunch time and it was deeelicious! love this place, food is always good and the staff are friendly.
Also, if you get a chance, check out the full samurai suit up at the bar!
T. O.
This was actually a pretty good sushi-bar! Great diversity in (both Irish and Japanese) whisky's, a lot of different sushi and other traditional meals. Definitly a recommendation with all the Irish pubs.
E. W.
Lovely, efficient and friendly service plus lovely food / drinks 😊
E. J.
Great food and lovely staff. Atmosphere was really good too. Is in the more pricey side but its sushi so to be expected.
T. R.
They serve very average quality sushi here. I personally don't like the amount of rice they use with their sushi. This is more than normal and doesn't do the sushi any good. Friendly staff and quick service. Not expensive either
P. A.
I always had a good experience. Food, customer service, and the place excellent.
V. K.
It is not the first time I come to this place and it amazes me how same dishes and service can be so different. Rainbow sushi are big size imposible to eat as rice just dont stick. Try it at least once you will know what I mean. Service was not great eather. No water served at the start. Menus' thrown at table. Salmon was overcooked.
A. R.
Yamamori serves the best sushi in Dublin and the best Japanese ale. Great atmosphere and great cocktails, fantastic for a night out. We go there regularly and always top service.
e. m.
All the Yamamori restaurants in Dublin are excellent. Really great food and atmosphere. If you like Japanese food then I highly recommended you check out these restaurants. This one on Ormond Quay is my favourite one.
D. L.
Amazing food, however the price has really gone up we have been going to the restaurant 6 years as a family but we paid a lot more in the last few visits. I will recommend it to anyone though.
N. s.
The best restaurant in this country. Their grilled salmon teriyaki is out of this world. Chefs are highly skilled and professional with great attention to details. I would be a regular guest in there sometimes few times a month and not once would I get disappointed. Also I could recommend their pinot grigio. I am a big fan !! To eat cheap and healthy is a rare experience these days.
D. J.
I've been a regular for 5 years and I can't have enough. The staff is carefully hired as they are all very nice and professional. Sashimi is always of good quality. The norimaki specials are pure art, nice, filling and colorful! I like every single thing in the menu. Keep it up guys!
S. M.
Loved the lonely chaplin. Very much filling portions.
E. K.
My most frequented restaurant in Dublin. Great atmosphere and food. Usually feel really looked after and a jug of beer is actually really cheap (secret!). Don't be shy to order components for sake bombs. Bento box is always outstanding.
r.
One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Regularly eat at Yamamori ,food is excellent good service and nice ambiance. One little gripe would be the music can be a little loud, but maybe I'm just getting little old.
J. W.
Great quality food and service right in the hearth of Dublin City Centre.
m. a.
i love this place. Love sushi and all food. The atmosphere and deco are really nice. Had and still will have lots of fantastic moments. The waiters are really helpful and very friendly.
D. M.
I eat sushi a lot because I'm a Pescatarian and let me tell you this place is awesome!! Service is great, good texture, no off tastes, nut rubbery. Glad I stumbled on this place. I'll be back next time I come to Dublin from Seattle
S. W.
Greay outdoor area which is covered. A bit breezy near the wall. There was one heater in the middle which was good. Great food and service!
S. C.
I usually go for lunch. The ramen is delicious and generous portions. The restaurant has joined the buildings along the Dublin quays with the ones along the lane behind with a vaulted glass atrium which makes the ambience spacious and comfortable.
J. O. B.
I really like this building. Deceptively large inside once you get past the narrow entrance but always feels warm and welcoming thanks to the decor. A very different atmosphere to the smaller, cosier Georges St Yamamoori. The food is always good but I can't be specific as I haven't been in a while, I must return soon!!
I. T.
We were a party of 12 and have been split into 2 different table. Not a great place to be with a stroller, very busy. However, food and drinks are great!
B. P.
I literally cried and touched myself after eating here. Best sushi i had in my entire life. Ask the chef to improvise and he'll blow your socks off!
C. Q.
Lovely food, great service and friendly helpful staff. Lovely selection of drinks too.
T. A.
This place is one of the best Japanese food places in Dublin. Food is delicious and I love the black rice options.
The banoffee pie is the best desert I have ever had. Worth trying it!
S. l.
I have been several Times in Yamamori in Dublin. Never been disappointed. Tried makis, bentos, all délicieuse. I love the atmosphere and the staff really Nice !!
G. M.
Food was absolutely delicious, staff seated us very quickly even though we hadn't booked a table despite being extremely busy. Would certainly recommend this restaurant.
I. B. K.
Great place!
My fiancé and I were looking for a romantic place for my birthday, it was perfect.
Great waiting (advices, friendly), great food & prices, the place is quiet.
There is also a nice patio for smokers or in summer.
Bonus, it is located next to the liffey river with an awesome night view, and a nice walk beside the river. We also did not have any problem parking, and it was free on sunday night.
I will be back !
L. P.
I used to give 5 star to Yamamori, they were the top Japanese restaurant. I love their Ramen. The visit last Wed were bad. Ordered their signature Yamamori Ramen, and found it became way below what it used to be. The soup tasted like instance noodle soup add water, the meats are not fresh, they were re-heat from pre-cooked frozen ones. Got charged 17.99 euro for it, what a joke...
C. B.
Had the yamamori yakisoba - super delicious. Price is on the high side, but for a delicious meal in Dublin you can't go wrong. The mango lemonade is also fantastic - highly recommend. Staff very pleasant.
K. C.
Excellent food and service. They made a mistake with daughter's order. They sprang into action to fix the error and brought her some miso soup to keep her busy until order arrived. Great job!
M. S.
Vibes, space and food are fabulous.
P. V.
Wonderful staff and excellent food.
N. M.
Brilliant service, food, cocktails and setup of outdoor dining
i.
One of my friends took me to this place while I have been visiting Dublin. The place is so good with yummy dishes. I had sea ramen Noodle soup with chilli sauce. Definitely a must go place.
m.
Felt the portion size wasn't great considering the price. Food was a bit disappointing considering what I had heard- possibly due to the fact it was a Friday night and the place was busy. Cocktails are fab though.
C. P.
Fantastic food and excellent service, Rocío, our waitress was super attentive and nice. I'll be back, for sure!!!
J. (.
Food is good, sushi...well, you can find better. And I waited for approximately 10 minutes until a member of the staff paid attention to me and my partner to be seated. And it wasn't a busy time of a day.
P. W.
I really enjoy this place. Probably one of the best sushi and Ramen in town. Great decor, nice service, tasty food, fair prices. Definitely recommend it.
F. B.
One of the best sushi i've ever eaten. The place is very good and clean and it's not too expensive.
If you go out with friends, you can go there and find a very good and fresh sushi.
P. R. (.
Food is good. The Bento box is great value for money at 10€ at lunchtime. In a cold rainy day go for the yamamori ramen.
Service was really bad a few months ago. Not perfect but improving (my partner almost finished her meal while I was still waiting for mine)
M.
Tasty japanese restaurant, although it is not run by japanese and the cook are all but japanese! The location is nice, the decorations are modern, and it is advised to book in advance because it is very popular. There is a wide choice of japanese dishes, and the place is tidy and clean.
D. K.
Food is lovely but the menu on the web page shows old lower prices. For example ramen 12 euros. Same ramen cost 6 quid more in the restaurant
P. R.
An excellent Japanese restaurant. The staff are professional and attentive, the food is fantastic and the ambiance is really good. You can really grab a bargain here by going at lunchtime and getting many of the main course dinner offerings for much less money.
N. S.
The beautiful townhouse that Yamamori is housed in makes this Japanese restaurant one of a kind. The food is decent, but the ambiance and the styling is absolutely gorgeous. Must visit!
L. N.
The place is beautiful the archithecture look like a japane culture. I love the food but have only one thing I dont like, it was the brown rice in my sushi I prefer the white. But I order wrong. It is not their fault.
A. K.
Quality and super-central Japanese restaurant. Similar in many ways to its sister restaurant Yamamori Noodles on George's Street (same menu). Compared to its counterpart across the river - Yamamori Sushi has an outdoor area, an open kitchen and is a little brighter during the day. Worth noting the daily bento option is usually different between the two premises.
C. M. N.
Good but not as good as I remember pre-pandemic
C. O.
The food is amazing, I have been eating here for about 17 or so years I think. The prices have steadily climbed in that time so that's why I'm holding back on the fifth star. It used to be significantly better value.
A. H.
Really good for the price with pretty huge portions, all food was prepared fine and the staff was nice. The space/ambient is not great, but not so bad to lower the score.
D. B.
Great (and big) Sushi restaurant in the middle of Dublin. Their Sushi is really good and it arrives fast. They also have a wide selection of other dishes available.
H. C.
One of the longer established noodle restaurants in Dublin. Decent menu but a bit pricey. Food is good, just a bit expensive compared to some other more traditional places on this side of the Liffey.
E. O.
Great sushi -- the tuna kimchi rolls were fantastic, as was the salmon avocado and eel nigiri. A bit up-there in the price category, but there aren't many great sushi places some in Dublin and this one stands out.
B.
Nice place, but this should be updated to ££££. It's really expensive for the portions they give you. The food is amazing, but it feels like i'm not getting my money's worth.
A. D.
Warm welcome from all the front of house staff..was slightly taken aback by the price Increse..ordered the rainbow but it was stuffed with poached fish and not the usual tasty meal...everything over priced now . The charm has gone I feel and it's all about over charging because of the location and that they cant open for midweek lunch now . .
Constructive criticism .
E. G.
Food is OK. Price is about par for the neighborhood. I had spicy tuna, and have it frequently. I thought that their eel sauce was too much - it overpowered the fish.
C. K.
The food is Fab but the noise level and background music can be a tad loud in this yamamori. The veg bento box is a winner everytime!
K. W.
Very nice place. I tried Yamamori ramen...enough even for 2 persons. I also had bento box. .. very nice idea of course but teryaki sauce could be better. Everyone has own taste. Nvm. And what can i say about staff? Great job. It's good when they look after the guests. Thx
D. s.
Great place and athmosphere. Hope to see our favorite oysters again after all get back to normal
C. K.
Truly delicious bento box and crab roll, fabulous ambiance in terms of music and lighting, nice plum wine great and attentive service- always a great experience here!
P. W.
One of if not the best Japanese restaurants in Dublin. Having visited Tokyo a few years ago I can say that the atmosphere and decor are the closest to a genuine Japanese restaurant I have experienced since; the ramen wasnt half bad either.
g. s.
Please note that even though the restauramt didn't bother to update this in their Google msps page, they no longer are open for lunchtime! They open at 17:30. I suggested this edit to Google maps more than a week ago, they are still "reviewing" it
N. L.
Always a pleasure to come here. Decent prices in the middle of the city, amazing food and very good service. Their japanese draught beer is the best.
C. R.
The vegan ramen is AMAZING. Second time in 1 month I’m coming to Dublin for work and I’m having same dish. Top!
L. T.
I love Yamamori North City. I love Japanese food. The food in Yamamori is always delicious. The food is always fresh. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
J. S.
Delicious food, awesome cocktails - bit expensive and usually pretty crowded though.
Still, cool place and damned good sushi.
C. J. H.
Beautiful food and atmosphere, the tempura prawns are incredible! The batter is light, fluffy and crispy! Would definitely recommend
S. F.
The go to celebratory restaurant for me and my family! Love the food here, the staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is great!
c. v.
It was full, starts were good but main were not very authentic.
G. 8.
Food is expensive and they are in the so-so category they also charge 10% service rate per person.
Yo sushi or a Korean restaurant like Drunken fish is a better place to get Asian food
Y.
Actually quite pricey but the Ramen were of good value. Would come back if I'd have some extra money to spend to enjoy some good quality food.
E. K.
Best sushi in ireland. No comparison and I have tried almost all of them. High quality fish and superb craftsmanship. You will not be disappointed.
i. c.
Great sushi and lovely staff. I visited it once during my stay in Dublin and I was really impressed.
D. M.
Food is super tasty, good prices, good value. The place is cozy, friendly and patient staff, the whole place is very clean including toilets. Higly recommended.
D. G.
I love the food and the atmosphere here, amazing! The waiters were very friendly and helped us navigate the different Japanese beers they offer.
K. K.
Fantastic. Great place for dinner. nice service, good food, and good atmosphere where you can talk to friends and enjoy the meal.
L. G. M.
Changed the prices, more expensive every time I go. Not enough light even to read the menu, we used the mobile torch. Anyway, great food as always.
D.
Good sushi, but not great. Rolls have a thick layer of rice. Tempura was not very crunchy. Atmosphere was not very Japanese.
D. B.
Was very good food and we loved the atmosphere we would definitely come back and would be interested in comparing their other locations.
M. V.
I visit this place regularly with my 7 years old or on my own for years...amazing food , great stuff and love the atmosfere and decoration
S. O.
Solid! There are cheaper better places for handy sushi (Kokoro for one) but if you want to sit down and have great sushi in a proper restaurant this is pretty good. Then again there's Musashi which is less fancy but excellent.
J. K.
Just fab! One of the best places in Dublin to get Authentic Japanese food. Staff couldn't be nicer and happy to explain menu options.
E. O.
I used to go here all the time but found that standard has been a bit less. Bent box used to excite me but now they are lacking creativity and have become more stingy with portions
L. C.
My favourite place to eat !!!
A. S.
Contemporary Japanese dining. Covers all the staples you'd expect, such as sushi, sashimi and noodles, but also includes cooked meat and curry dishes.
Yamamori's food is consistently tasty and they often innovate with the menu, introducing new or altered dishes and options.
While great for dinner, this is also a busy lunch venue, with ever popular lunch bento boxes and other specials available from around €10.
Kirin beer available on draught, they also have Histachino bottled beer available, as well as a decent selection of sake and wine.
S. S.
Great food, atmosphere and wine
M. B.
Food was lovely.. Back again 🍲
D. P.
Ok sushi. Just one of the many fanchise... it's pretty noisy and busy. Tables pretty small and way too close to others. Cannot have much privacy. Watch out for mayo as sometimes comes by default in some sushi.
F.
Had a great experience. Food and service were absolutely terrific!
S. Z.
Nice small restaurant with really tasty food. Not the first time and definitely not my last time eating here.

Poached runny egg in ramen ?? Dry rise on nigiri (on outside only). No thanks ..... use to be great place to go for me but that is past . Please match price with quality and I might be back .

As the Yamamori machine grew ever bigger, I had deliberately over-looked Yamamori Sushi imagining if its sister restaurant on George's St had waned in quality so dramatically over the past few years then what was the point in seeking out disappointment and rewarding mediocrity? The most pleasant surprise awaited, however, and I was never so happy to have erred in pre-judgement. A sushi platter to start followed by top notch ramen made for a wholly satisfying meal experience as it was but when rounded off with a Hitachio Nest beer the happiness levels reached new heights.

So good! 🤤

The food is always amazing, the menu is very big and diverse. Staff also good but sometimes too friendly 😁
J. S.
Excellent quality food, but i give 4 stars because the lighting is inadequate and during December you are forced to order through certain menu choices that cost 35 € per head.

Excellent service. Amazing food. Beautiful interiors. Highly recommended if you love Japanese food.

Gorgeous food, super service. Watching plates go by to other tables and thinking I'll have to go back so many times to try all these!

Best place to have 🍣🍣🍣 in Dublin.

Very nice food, probably the best in its kind in Dublin. The place sounded more like a place to go out with friends than with a date I was wishing it was a bit cosier ! Anyways amaaazing food

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food you can't find anywhere else.

I love the Bento boxes at Yamamori. Choice of a big (Regular) one, a small (Lunch), Vegetarian or Seafood. All wonderful. And free WiFi.

Great selection of Japanese food. Generous portions. Good ambiance.
(natural lighting!)

Don't know much about Chinese food, but I really disliked the dish I ordered. The place is nice, the service is also OK. Wouldn't give it a second chance though.
C. H.
Good food, a little pricy compared to other Japanese places in the city. But it has an amazing whisky selection that puts it above the others.
D. M. M.
Awesome food. This is the best sushi I had in Dublín. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth it
D. M.
It was a nice atmosphere with good cocktails. But unfortunately the sushi wasn't near to being worth the price.
J. J.
Food was very nice, thank you. Saki was also. Didn't know you can have it cold ir hot. Now I kniw that hot saki is a bit nicer
M. D.
Best California rolls ever. They use fresh crab only which so many competitors don't. Everything on the menu is delish.
O. C.
Personally the best Japanese restaurant in town! Great both for lunch and dinner. It is not overly expensive either.
h. b.
Nice food and stuff but a bit expensive. They're are sushi places that charge less for the same quality food and service
C. G.
Amazing tapas and sushi, atmosphere, staff and style terrific too!
B. C.
You can't go wrong with Yamamori, 3 locations around the city and first rate Japanese cuisine make them must eat locations for any looking for a taste of the orient.
L. S.
Super. First time eating sushi out. Well worth the visit. I had a bento box and I was more than satisfied
P. B.
Went here for lunch a few weeks ago, nice amount of dishes on the menu. The only thing I found was missing was the 'finesse' that usually goes with Japanese food.
A. M.
Big love for this restaurant - the sushis are great but so is everything on the menu. Really like the duck teriyaki, a real treat!
R. M.
Love Yamamori but I think the food on George's street is better. They do however have amazing cocktails.
B.
Food was great, service was fantastic. I only dropped a star because the prices are pretty steep.
K. J.
Excellent sushi, helpful service and fair prices. I will definitely come back. Try one roll with black rice!
A. M.
Fabulous food, great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend the chicken curry.
R. M.
Nice environment. Went there for lunch with friend and family, the dumpling seems not fresh. Food are ok. Not as good as used to.
Maybe wont go back that soon.

Great place, delicious food and cocktails and very friendly staff. Highly recommending for 6-10 people groups!
A. D.
Good food, fast service and a decent selection. It can be very loud, diners may have to compete with the sound system though the bar is quieter
A. G. N.
Great Japanese restaurant and excelent service. The personnel working there is very friendly. Good noodles and sushi. I specifically recommend the Ebi Gioza.
S. C.

The food is amazing there. A bit expensive but the quality is amazing. Downside: the service is not always at the level of the food.
R. C.

Great food and setting. The quality of the beef in the Beef chili was amazing. Not typical for these kind of restaurants.
