I know of Kingfisher Bistro for many years, their pizzas were the best in the town before, but for the last few years I am not ordering pizzas any more because their food is just fantastic! Everything is excellent, top class!

Had the roast herb chicken and partner had the pork - both were absolutely delicious! I didn't want it to end. Creamy mash was the best I've ever had. Lovely staff and service was great. Top notch and reasonable.

Building looks impressive as you walk up to it through the courtyard. Food is delicious and presented well. One key thing letting it down is the fact you have to go outside to use the toilet. That may be okay with good weather but would be very off putting when cold and wet.

Called in on a Sunday evening with no booking seated immediately. What a lovely spot the food was so so tasty and well presented any one thinking if going try their lightly fried pork with stick rice Devine. Very reasonably priced and staff were excellent . Will be during during the summer months

Was there this evening for a family meal. First time at the Kingfisher, but won't be the last. Everything we had was cooked from fresh ingredients, and all very tasty. Food and service were excellent. Will be back soon.

Our group of 4 middle aged couples had a plesant enough meal on new years eve. However the management failed to mention at the time of booking they were closing after 11.00. It totally spoiled our new year's eve get together. We did not live locally, we don't meet often and we travelled from 4 different places, so we ended up all returning to our individual homes before 12.00 😭 If they had presented the "normal" menu it would have been evident - but why have a special higher priced New Years Eve menu if it was just a regular night? Sadly... a ruined evening.

Great little restaurant /bistro in the heart of Carlingford, beside the credit union, outdoor seating when the weather is good. Excellent chef's cooking in the kitchen, excellent service, and they do Pizza for takeaway.

Not many places earn 5 stars from me but this place always brings out a winner of a dish - last time we were here it was a simple pea risotto- really magnificent- this time they had a crab creme brulee- this was one of the best starters I've had for a while - the rest of the meal was very good too - top class food and service yet again

Interesting menu, delicious and hearty food. The setting (terrace for us) is pleasant and the prices affordable. In short, we are delighted with our choice and if possible we will return.
