F. F. N.Was in it on a Thursday evening. It wasn't busy but service was slow. In fairness bar man remembered all the 7 drinks without writing them down, true barman! Food was ok, I didn't enjoy my dish, the chicken burger but the rest of plates were empty, its not really a tapas menu anymore but that is probably due to Covid.. I wouldn't return but try it for yourself might just have been my taste buds!

M. M. M.The Market Bar is a Tapas style bar, located in the centre of Dundalk town. Since it's opening, it has built up a very good reputation for good food and drinks. It serves an excellent selection of Tapas, along with a small number of selected mains and specials. There is a wide selection of drinks, including craft beers, wine, and cocktails. At the weekends, and maybe even during the week, it is advisable to phone up to check if you need to book a table. I have had one poor experience, but this was out of possibly 15-20 visits, and it was a particular dish, on a particularly quiet night. However, that same night, the service was above excellent, and redeemed the situation. Ultimately, all reviews boil down to whether to recommend a visit or not, and for me it is easy, you definitely should.
