The best chowder in Ireland and super fresh fish, cooked perfectly plagued with friendly service. I had a "spice bag" with battered monkfish tails and perfectly cooked chips, also amongst the best fish and chips that I have encountered.

If you want the real deal fish and chips that is locally sourced and delicious along with superfriendly staff this place ticks all the boxes. Will definitely be back. Such a lovely treat after a lovely sea swim.

AMAAAAZING! We managed to easily find a table for 4 at lunch time on a Saturday. Got the special that was a burger 🍔 one of the best fish burgers that I had in my life. Simple amazing and huge! Absolutely recommended!

Best fish and chip shop in the whole of Munster hands down! The fish was perfectly cooked. Chips were excellent. And that Asian slaw and that garlic Mayo is just to die for! This isn't just a fish and chip shop. Due to the pandemic I have only had the the opportunity to avail of takeaway, but that was an enjoyable and an extremely tasty experience. I'd have to single out the Seafood Chowder that I had as a Starter from the Takeaway Menu. It was one of the best that I have had at any price anywhere. I look forward to visiting Dungarvan again when normal times return and experiencing the dine-in in the Iasc Seafood Bar..

Such delicious food. Fresh fish. Great portions. Crab cakes as starter, linguine & the lemon sole. Open Wed-Sun. The seaweed/guiness bread is to die for. Ask for Lydia (waitress) she is the best. Thank you and so glad you opened mid pandemic you saved us all.

Lovely decent fresh food here. Can eat indoor or outdoor or take away also. There is a really varied menu with fish at the forefront of course. Quick service.

Everything was spectacular. The staff is friendly and service was prompt, the wine list carefully selected and the food. That would worth an other 5* review. So far my best seafood experience in the past 8 years in Ireland. Mindblowing we will be back soon. Thank you for the floor and kitchen staff for making our night so wonderful.

Food is good, however there is not a feeling of welcome from the staff. There are ridiculous rules such as one cannot buy fish on its own, it has to include chips even though they are packed seperately. Premises are lovely and clean and tidy

Got food from iasc for the first time yesterday and I must say it was fantastic...I got a haddock chips tartare sauce and mushy peas all for 11.50...chips were so fresh and the fish was delicious...keep up the good work

Had dinner last night, lovely atmosphere, staff friendly, Food very tasty, the mussels were lovely, it was great to be able to get them as they don't seem to get served in many places. We were able to get beer from the off licence next door, but they do have a wine license too. We will definitely be back!.

Fantastic menu. Myself and my partner both had the scallops carpaccio to start. I had the mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce with garlic bread, my partner had bbq sea bass with veg and roast poetaetoes. Portions were plentiful, food was delicious, served in great time and the staff were lovely to deal with. Wine selection was great. We didn't have dessert as we were full but the apple and blackberry crumble looked amazing! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Dungarvan, one of the nicest meals out iv had in a long time!

Fab ! Throughly enjoyed dinner at Iasc . The freshest fish executed with delicious flavours ! We loved it so much we went back the following day to see about grabbing the sliders but we were slightly too early for opening time . Definitely will be back !

Great BBQ Seabass with big portion. Nice flavours in the fish and very soft and smooth.

The Scampi was delicious, melt in the mouth and the chips were cooked to perfection would get again the only downside is that the wait was extremely long.

For a town sitting on a harbour, it's a shame Dungarvan has not had a dedicated seafood restaurant in decades (not since Seán Ryan's on Main St.). IASC is a welcome adition to the local food scene. Haddock batter was crispy, and the fish was perfectly cooked and flakey. Chips are great, but the top marks go to the best Tartare sauce I have ever tasted!!! Service is fast, and the staff are very friendly. You get welcomed with a smile. The best of luck to you.
