R. K.Have eaten both in the courtyard and in the new carvery restaurant upstairs. Both are excellent and very different. The courtyard is lovely for casual rustic dining and upstairs is a classic carvery and then some. Have had both breakfast and lunch in the upstairs carvery. Never been disappointed. Super atmosphere, super family friendly. Would highly recommend, looking forward to our next visit.
P. H.Located next to Bunratty castle this is both a courtyard with outdoor dining as well as an indoor venue. It has great choices from a simple coffee, a range of non alcoholic beers, street food, Pizza and ice cream. Several stations provide the different food choice to a common outdoor eating area. Relaxed style, helpful staff and good choice. Prices are fair and food quality good. Worth a visit.
M. P.AMAZING. We found this way better than we expected from what looked like a generic touristy restaurant. A lot of the menu was as you'd expect but the food was just really well done and very tasty with creative touches like fried lemon slices with the hake and a delicious quiche. The staff were very friendly and helpful too! I would have taken a photo of the food but we'd wolfed it down before I thought of it!
J. H.Really hit and miss, the food can be great or terrible. I had to finally give a review after the muffin I got today 😅 Given what I paid, and how long I waited, I expected a nice muffin and coffee. What I got was a half filled muffin case and half of that was blueberries. I think this is their last chance for me, I've had one too many bad experiences (for the love of God, stay away from the "poutine" fries)
R. M.Took the kids to Jilly & Joes restaurant over the weekend. Loads of options and the kids got a lovely ice cream after they finished their dinner. The fish was gorgeous and the staff were more than happy to accommodate to our needs. Will definitely be coming back
W. T.Had lunch in J&J's yesterday. Happy to have COVID certs properly checked and be served by v. friendly staff. We felt very safe as the café was clean and very well spaced-out. Did a little shopping and had a great coffee in the courtyard after, so a nice little experience all round.
M. M.I visit the infamous Jilly and Joes at least once a week and they have never let me down.
I am usually quite picky about my food but here there is loads on offer. From the Street Food to the Coffee Dock and Pizza and then you have the new carvery restaurant upstairs which has the best carvery breakfast and lunch for miles around.
When my niece comes to visit her highlight is the Ice Cream Parlour which always offers service with a smile while delivering amazing produce.
There is a real party vibe around the courtyard and you feel like you are always on your holidays while being there.
The Staff are so friendly and always deliver service with a smile.
Please keep up the good work and keep her lit :)
M. D.Stopped here for bite to eat, maybe sandwich n coffee but the food looked so good we ended up having dinner instead, absolutely beautiful food and plenty of it, staff very friendly without being in your face and place was spotless, we will be back

I can’t say enough good things about it you really have to experience it for yourself you won’t regret it. Brilliant!!
r. p.I have travelled out many times and never had bad food once. The poutine was prob the nicest thing on the menu and now it's gone . Having lived in Canada 🇨🇦 it's there national dish and trust me it's even better than Canada. I hope ye put it back on the menu 😋🙏

E. M.Lots of options for food here. The pizza is very good as cooked to order. I was very disappointed with the waste disposal…no option to recycle plastic, cans, paper. This could be easy to set up with separate bins
l. W.Really nice outdoor area. However the poutine chip is horrible stuff. I ordered to see if it would be nice, literally chips with gravy and big cubes of Brie. Missus got taco chip and was watery and fairly tasteless. Probably wouldn’t go for food again
I. V.I like it, simple, good food served fast, with flare! and decent portions too! Definitely the best food in Bunratty. JILLY AND JOES or the BUNRATTY CASTLE HOTEL, both men's are awesome, and the food will not disappoint. And that's from a foodie!!

J. M.I heard about this place from my friends and I couldn't wait for the restrictions to lift, its safe to say I wasn't one bit disappointed it was absolutely beautiful! The best fish and chips I have ever had. Will definitely be back to try some more food. Great coffee also!

R. s.I was watching Street Food Latin America on Netflix and this made me to go and try out recently opened Jilly & Joe's in Bunratty :D Talk about brainwashing :D I chose Clonmoney West Beef Brisket from the menu. It was pleasant, you could understand that it was made from fresh ingredients. For me, the Homemade Gravy was the star of the meal. It was light and not salty. I will go back when I am not in a mood of cooking and try out something else from the menu. I give 4 stars out of five. Since the only 5 star I have given to street food is held by Misunderstood Heron

R.Really enjoyed our visit to Jilly and Joe's, stopped in with our nieces and we were not disappointed, a delicious selection of street food, something for everyone and a wide variety of ice creams and coffees available, will definitely be back to try the pizzas and cocktails. Lovely atmosphere with efficient and friendly staff.. a real treat during lockdown. 10/10 would recommend ☺️☺️
