My wife and I have been on honeymoon for the last two weeks and wanted a change of pace from pub food. I can honestly say our meal here at The Alley was some of the best food and service we had on the whole trip. Really a highlight. I’ve traveled to Japan and the food was wonderful here by comparison. The duck was on point—in short I cannot recommend this place enough. 5-Stars! The portions are generous and it’s very reasonably priced. Definitely try it out!

A fantastic find! Don’t be fooled if it is quiet, the food is awesome. We had some Thai classics - Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken and both were excellent. We will be back here during our visit. Highly recommended.

Found this place by coincidence, was looking for something different from all the pub food 😅 Really worth it, food was delicious, the place was quiet and cozy, and the staff was very friendly. And if you like beer, would highly recommend that Asahi beer, originally from Japan.

The food was amazing. Myself and my partner were looking for a new place to eat & this popped up! We couldn’t have picked a better place to eat, everything we ordered was fantastic. Staff were lovely & we loved how they furnished the restaurant too. Really modern design but super comfortable! We can’t wait to go back, it’s easily one of our favourite places to eat now. Highly, highly recommend it!

One of Ennis's best kept secrets - outstanding Asian food, mix of old reliables and new tastes to try. Went twice in a week while staying in Clare. Lovely space too / really friendly staff.

Definitely the most delicious gyoza, spice box, beef satay and gyudon we have ever had, very reasonably priced also. Also felt very safe dining indoors; well spaced out and staff were very compliant with guidelines.

Myself and the kids thoroughly enjoyed our meal here this evening. The ambiance Was so inviting and the staff were amazing. The food was to die for, we had a few starters and main courses and we all cleared our plates. Absolutely best place to eat.

Outstanding quality of food! Such a refreshing change from the usual stuff on offer. Fresh, amazing flavour and lovely service. Can’t recommend enough. As a vegetarian it was an amazingly welcome place to eat in an otherwise veggie desert (!) but if not veggie this place has wonderful fresh authentic food. Staying at the Old Ground Hotel which seems to dominate the local eating scene. I have no idea why!!

The most friendliest place to have a lovely din in. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Food was absolutely gorgeous, I had the Chicken red curry and my partner had the yellow curry with Sake. 😍 Defo coming back!

Fantastic authentic food, had a full three course meal including Miso soup as a side, sake and plum wine for drinks - all outstanding. The Gyoza starters are particularly good so THREE were had. The main was simply five-star, the ribeye steak strips cooked to perfection. The place is so clean and nice looking. Joyce is a very friendly and polite lady who was very appreciative and grateful of the feedback. Joyce also recommended two desserts and those were also delicious. Cannot fault the place and will be back whenever in Ennis. A must-visit asian fusion restaurant.

The wife, daughter and I were here for dinner this evening. The daughter had chicken dumplings and fried rice. The wife had chicken satay & I had Oyakodon chicken and egg fried rice. The food was absolutely amazing. I am from Co Louth, I would happily drive from there to ennis just for the food. Go and try The Alley, you won't be disappointed.

Got a menu through the door so thought we'd try this out. It was absolutely delicious- high quality, fresh and very flavorful. We got 3 mains (beef, duck and tofu) and wontons and soft shell crab to start. Every dish was gorgeous, in its own style and the starters were perfectly done and crispy. The portions are very generous too. Thank you! We will definitely be back!
