What can I say.....no words can express how good the standard of food is in this establishment. It is deceiving from the outside ,positioned on a corner and does not look as big from the road. Outside has a beautiful arrangement of seating areas amidst greenery which compliments the food and high standard of service. I visited again with my wife today in the afternoon and the chicken curu was delightful tasty and made by chefs of a standard Gordon Ramsey would be proud of. My wife had the chicken carbonara ,it looked and tasted better than any Italian restuarant. I had the apple crumble,my wife cheesecake lifht and fluffy and very tasty. I highly recommend the Courtyard to anyone wabting a good stanfard if foid great portions and class of service second to none. I tipped thecwaotress always helpful and very knowledgeable.Hopefully my photos will upload.

Called in on our way home from Secret Valley Wildlife Park. Staff were second to none, so friendly and attentive and chatted with our little girl. Atmosphere was great and cozy. Outdoor dining was fantastic. Food was lovely. We’ll definitely call in again on our next trip.

This place was just a quick stop on our way back to Dublin. It was amazing! The lasagna was superb. I could tell it was made with all natural beef and cheese from the area. In the USA we eat a lot of processed food and I could taste every different flavor in this lasagna. Large portion also came with chips (fries) and a side salad. So much food I had to take half of it to go. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is a fabulous place for a meal. We had a Saturday lunch and it had flavours and textures that are beautiful. Portions are perfect in size as well and most important the staff were 5 star also. Desserts were freshly made and the prices very reasonable for the qualities served. Definetly a place to go if anywhere near Ferns. We will be back.

We found this place by complete accident. A family drive, decided to take a short cut home, felt hungry and were about to head to a petrol station when we spotted The Courtyard. Coming from Wexford it's the first exit at the Ferns roundabout. We found the food great and service second to NONE! We overheard a conversation between a staff member and a customer who asked for advice on gluten free food, aside from the already many options, the staff member arrived back from chatting with the chef with several more options. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I was very impressed. My youngest asked for items not on the menu and he was responded to with a smile which gave him so much confidence. It was lovely to have staff respond so patiently when a child is trying to learn the ways of manners, etiquette and appropriate communication. The food was super, desert delicious and we will definitely be recommending this pub and restaurant to ALL our friends. 👍👍👍👍👍

Fabulous bar and restaurant. Very deceiving from outside. Bar pub for casual dining. Beautiful restaurant, courtyard and party room. Just across from church with parking there. Very busy when we arrived at lunchtime. Bar was full so we were seated at restaurant at back but same menu as bar. Fabulous food, large selection with great prices. I had steak burger with mash and pepper sauce. To die for. Curry's, steak, toasties available. There was also a funeral lunch in function room so very very busy but staff we're so polite, professional and took it all in their stride. Will definitely be back. Ferns a lovely little town with great history so stop and have a look around if in area.

My wife and I were treated to a meal here by friends - and it soon our "go to" place in the area for bar food. The standard menu offers a good variety of reasonably priced food - and there's always lots of daily specials on the board. Between the two of us we must have tried pretty much everything on the menu and never been disappointed - and the deep-fried Kilmore Quay cod & chips is the best fish & chips I've had anywhere in Ireland. Topped off with friendly and efficient service - superb!

This was a surprise visit whilst I was in Ferns. My friend that was with me had said it had great reviews. From the moment we stepped inside the door I understood why. The Courtyard has super friendy staff who acknowledge your prescence as soon as you step through the doors. They are warm, friendly and give you a welcome smile. We knew this was going to be a good experience. I'm on crutches. They recognused this when seating us. I thought this was an above and beyond sense of service. I've been on these crutches and your restaraunt staff were the first to acknowledge this and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. We sat down and took in the beautiful interior and atmosphere. We were handed me ues and given ample time to make our choices. We hose to have Mains and Deserts finished off with Lattes. The food was presented beautifully and I don't think we left anything on our plates. Everything we ate was delicious. The Staff checked in with us during the meal that everything was okay and if there was anything more they couid do for us. The bill was very resonable for such a wonderful experience. We left to make yhe journey home with full tummys and happy faces. We will definitely reccommend The Courtyard to friends and family. If I were to mark my experience between 1 an 10 for Food, Venue, Staff & Toilets, I would give you an 11 on all counts. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon. Your staff clearly love their jobs because they made this a very special day for my friend and I. I wish you continued sucess. You deserve it ☆☆☆☆☆

Food from the Christmas menu was subpar. It felt as though the quality of the dishes suffered in favour of them to be cheaper to make and serve. Our party of 15 was split over two smaller tables, instead of all of us being at one. The staff member we spoke to was particulary unapologetic about this and offered us no alternative. In my opinion the food was decent but just not worth the 35 euro a head.
