Lovely place to stay, kind staff but the service was a little slow, even though it wasn't that busy. The food tastes good but is a bit over priced

The food is excellent, great friendly staff. Fab new outdoor seating area if the weather is nice and lovely cosy atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.

We stopped at this adorable restaurant and had the choice to eat indoors or outdoors. We had our lunch outside which was beautifully presented and was full of flavour and hot. The staff throughout were a pleasure to meet. Many thanks to all.

Visited yesterday for the first time and loved everything about this place. The staff, the food, the beautiful "beer garden" are all top notch. Lunch was so delicious we are going back for dinner this week. Check it out if you are in the area....

What a find! Heading south this morning hunger got the better of me and I stopped for breakfast. What a feed I had, a fantastic bait! The staff were lovely and welcoming and couldn't do enough and the food was amazing. I'll be back!

Loved this place, just across the road from the camp site, we went there twice during our 3 day camping, food was top notch, my wife had the cod fish cake twice, love the salad with it. The chowder did not look great when it was served in a large jam pot style dish, but after my first spoonful I polished it off straight away it was fantastic, I would have liked a muscle or two in it but even so I will be back for more.
The second night I had the thai noodles with prawns. It didn't disappointing. Fabulous.
Staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive,
A few pints of guiness after and we were ready for our tent.only negative was the glass of wine was a bit pricey and would line to see a bit more variety on menu namely a steak. great value for a top class meal.

An enjoyable morning here at the car boot sale, its worth a visit, you never know what you could find at reasonable prices. Its on every Sunday morning but you would want to be early, toilet facilities are undesirable though, so go before you leave home!!!!😷

Great brekfast served in cute thatched cottage. Lot's of history about this place. Was a little chilly when we were there but the food made that go away fast

"...great place to stop for a coffee along the old Wexford _ Dublin Road (R741), very good coffee and chat, great interior predating 1798, especially the flagstone floor and fireplace..."

Excellent coffee & food it's a pity there's such heay traffic on the road it spoils the outside eating experience.
