D. T.A nice place for breakfast, the place was clean and the breakfast was very well prepared. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms, sausage roll and decadent chocolate cinnamon roll. On the list as a place we would return to.

A. K.When asked local shop attendant that where will he eat, he directed me to this shop, whose stairs are tucked away next to gift gallery in the town centre.
Upon climbing the stairs, I realised that this place is visited not just by tourists but locals also come here.
I had chicken burger and it was DELICIOUS.. it was just beautiful & I drooled over it. The brioche bum so soft and yumm. Burger was definitely fresh & chips crisp. .
It was so tempting that I forgot to take pictures.
Staff is friendly and keep check On your comfort, food and needs.
Accessibility: that’s a hiccup.. there is no lift, there are close 15-20 stairs and then to restroom yet another flight of stairs. So it’s not 100% accessible.

J. A.Really enjoyed the food, I had goats cheese, roast veg etc in a foccacia bap it was fresh and absolutely delicious. The table layout isn't complying to covid regs, with several tables too close together. However, waiting staff were masked and the tables cleaned throughly , very friendly and professional service.

Got a kickin’ chicken melt and they’re the most amazing things ever 🤩🤩 The staff are all so lovely and cheerful and regularly checked up on us to see if we were okay and needed anything, full of smiles. Lovely girl with pink hair brought us down our hot chocolates and overheard us speaking about our exams, even stopped to have a chat asking us about them! So nice to have a proper experience in a restaurant for once rather than being rushed in and out.

M. B.Lovely restaurant with lots of seating areas including an outdoor terrace. We came in for coffee and cake, the presentation was really nice and both the coffee and cake were excellent. They have a very good breakfast and lunch menu, we will definately come back for lunch. The staff are really friendly.

I.Pricey but Tasty!
Ate here last week for lunch and always wanted to try here. The interior is amazing, it’s such a unique restaurant and fits in well with Galway. The staff were friendly when we first arrived and showed us to a table I got the chicken focaccia but it was hard to decide as everything sounded really good. When our food arrived everything looked really good but we realised it was a little pricey for what we got. There were no sides or chips. If there was a little side salad I would say it was good value but It was just the sandwich on its own. When I took my first bite there was something really hard that I did not expect in my bite - a wishbone. I took it out and began to chew again but there were two more small sharp pieces of bone. This could have been dangerous for someone who swallowed their food quickly. Other than that it tasted great! Great quality food & taste. I didnt want to make a fuss over it so I didnt call the waitress over but I would have stated it if she asked “if everything was alright” just to warn staff for future customers sake but she didnt ask so I decided to write a review. I will definitely be returning to dry some if their coffees & hot chocolates as the drinks menu looked delicious!

The fish I got was small, I certainly wasn't filled after. It took a while for the meals to arrive. Probably will give it another go.

T. L.Visited this eatery over the Arts festival week in July 2018. There was a great choice of good wholesome grub with their burgers being especially nice. Cost wise it was very affordable which was a surprise given where it was situated, right on Shop Street. The was a lovely buzz created by the staff with smiles on their faces and an attitude of "we want you to enjoy the experience" which was a welcome change rom some of the supposedly top restaurants in Dublin with a get them in and then get them out as quick kind of scenario. For such a busy town 56 Central felt laid back in a good way. Oh and their coffee was really good, worth a visit for the coffee alone.

H. M.I went for breakfast yesterday and my order was taken promptly. While I waited, two waitresses checked to see if I was ok. I was fine but there was no sign of my order! Eventually I asked a waitress to check and it came after another wait. It was an excellent breakfast and the coffee was great. When I went to pay, the waitress who took my order said there was no charge as I had waited so long. She took full responsibility and said she completely forgot! Full marks for this - it meant the difference between me never returning and complaining to all an sundry and my plans to definitely go back and I have told all who are prepared to listen to me about the first rate PR. Well done!

The buzz in this place is great, the decor in this place just works. Will definatly be coming back. You know your onto a good thing when people are prepared to queue just to get a seat on a Saturday lunchtime.

Y. P.Would be a regular customer of central 56 when I was working in town. As my treat this week I went for the usual chicken melt and chips. To my horror the chips were not the usual home made chips. They were always pricey but so worth the money. The chips we got today were shoe string chips. Very disappointing! !!!!

Fries were amazing and the Cajun mayo heavenly. We could even finish our cake which was yummy.
