Are you west bound? Don't miss this cafe/restaurant. The nicest hosts and the most delicious food. The mussels melt in your mouth, the duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My partner had the pate to start and the hake for main - quote "nicest food I've had in a long long time".
Already looking forward to next visit.

Visited this place a week ago, the service was good. I had mussels, super pasta salad and cheese cake.
Truly loved the cheese cake, I'd say it's worth a trip just for the cake!
Overall a very good restaurant with nice ambience.

What a find, waited 20 mins for a table, well worth it. Food was absolutely delicious, very fresh, well cooked, and staff are wonderful. Standout dishes were the steak, seafood chowder, pan fried fishes, and muscles! Truly amazing. Highly recommend, the wait it worth it

Just superb - food, staff and ambience. And great value for money. Next time I'm anywhere near Oughterard, I will make a detour to eat here again. And the flourless chocolate cake is now my favourite ever chocolate cake that I've had anywhere. Thank you so much. 😋😋

What a fabulous hidden gem. This looks like a cafe from the outside but it's actually a lovely little restaurant with a stunning menu of delicious food. The owners were so friendly and accommodating when we ate there - we will definitely be going back
Don't miss it if you're anywhere near the Oughterard area.

Gorgeous cosy cafe with delicious food and friendly staff. The first time I went I had the carrot, coriander and squash soup served with brown bread which was very yummy, the soup had a fresh tasted root taste like it was just plucked from the garden. Sensational taste. hit every taste bud. Then I had the 2nd best ( my aunt being in first place) lasagne with a side salad and toasted bread. Wow delicious and everything tasted so fresh.
The 2nd time I went I had the Irish stew, finished the entire plate and my aunt had a goats salad. We both enjoyed it very much. Food is fantastic here. Love the place and also love the friendly service. Will always return.

Elevated simplicity. Who needs reductions and foams when you can make roast veg taste like heaven? Thoroughly enjoyed the catch of the day (salmon) and the rhubarb almond torte.

Fantastic food and great ambiance. Owner, chef and staff not too bad either 😉

Always fantastic food served here and great detail given where all the food is sourced locally. Never a bad meal served here.

The best restaurant in Oughterard. Thanks for super dining experiences during our recent holiday down west Johnny and team. Looking forward to returning.
