We waited for about 10 - 15 mins for our table but it was definitely worth the wait. The food is delicious and the coffee is perfect and I rarely say that because I am finicky about my coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my brunch and hence I keep coming back here! ☺️☺️

Definitely the place for brunch in Galway! Fluffiest pancakes ever and the breakfast burger was delicious! If you love a poached egg, the chefs here will get you right! The lil side of diced potatoes/fries is super tasty too. The staff were pleasant and the prices are reasonable. (They also have a fire playlist as background music too.) Highly recommended !

While you may find yourself waiting for a table, you'll be glad you waited. I traveled with two of my sons, and we each got different items. Everything was delicious. The food was well prepared, the flavors were perfect, and the staff was wonderful. The fresh ingredients shine through in each dish.

Today we enjoyed a visit to Dela restaurant for brunch. It was very busy but as a 2 we managed to get a table pretty quickly. Bigger groups definitely needed to wait longer than we did. The menu is a newer style brunch menu, offering treats like pancakes alongside more stereotypical brunches (which are not stereotypical themselves). The food we got was fantastic. The Dela fry and eggs Benedict with bacon. I got 7 rashers of bacon (yes 7!!!) With my meal! The Dela pudding with the fry was really fantastic, so tasty! They make their own fresh orange juice which was a lovely accompaniment. I'd highly recommend a visit when in town.

Food tasted amazing, and were well portioned! Excellent value for money, especially considering the locally sourced ingredients! Good Covid restrictions in place - however the atmosphere still feels cozy and welcoming. Staff seemed busy however, they were all super friendly and courteous. Service was a little slower than in other places we've eaten out in recent weeks - however this is definitely a plus, as it allowed us to relax and chat and not feel like they were trying to get rid of us as soon as we ordered! We will definitely be back for more brunch and to try out the dinner options. I would definitely recommend booking ahead if you can!

Excellent staff, food, and ambiance. I visited twice for breakfast and would go again in a heartbeat. The breakfast burrito hit the spot (but best eaten in two meals as it's quite big). The pancakes are also quite nice. Free wifi too! Sustainably sourced food = good for the soul.

Brunch rather good but disappointed with my dish. The bread of my eggs Benedict was the size of the egg because it was a bottom of package... Moreover the bread itself was tasteless and dry which spoiled the dish. The dish itself could have used a little more hollandaise sauce or an additional ingredient to bind it together. Too bad because the potatoes were very crispy. Other than that the place and the service were very pleasant. Nice effort to accommodate allergies. Good control of the cooking of the pancakes, undercooked but not mushy which makes them very tasty.

A cold & wet morning in Galway, a full house at Dela but the very friendly front of house staff took our number and phoned back in 15 mins to say a table was available. On arrivals our Covid Vaccine Certificates were checked along with our I.D., very high standard of Covid measures in place which is reassuring. What we received was the best breakfast & service since visiting San Francisco over three years ago. Such a fantastic choice on the menu, I choose the pancakes which were so tasty. My husband went for the Dela Fry, again the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were attentive and very friendly, a lovely atmosphere and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.

Well known for their brunch, they have one of the most amazing pancakes 🥞 in town. They good is good. The price is more expensive than other places but it is worth it. If you are in hurry it isn't your place, it's full most of the time and you have to wait for a while to get a table.

Visited dela for brunch on our trip to galway from dublin the 4 of us could not fault a thing! The food was incredible and the girls in the cafe really make the dining experience!! so friendly and helpful we ended up outside dismorning waiting for it to open it was that good! Cool place with a tree in the middle of the restaurant! Better make a reservation for weekend brunch, so you dont have to wait in a queue. Stopped into Dela for a coffee catch-up with an old friend and opted to have their version of the Full Irish. The quality, for the price (€11) was top notch, my only complaint - a single egg, for some reason, but I didn't mention it, as the mountain of food would be enough for me without a second egg as advertised.

Great place for a true Irish brunch. Don't expect to sit down quickly unless you have a reservation. The good is great, I went with the not-so-healthy option and it was delicious. Cool decorations and very nice staff. The location is very close to the river, so you have a nice place to walk off all the food you ate after Brunch. Definitely recommended for a Saturday brunch.

Food and service were excellent. I had a brunch buretto and my partner had eggs Benedict. Taking two stars away as myself and my partner were seated in a table adjoined to another which was fine. About 5 minutes into our meal another couple were seated beside us in very close proximity. There was a plastic screen seperating the tables only, but no seperation between our chairs which were very close. In the current climate I though only one group should be seated in the area that we were in. And while masks were worn by staff and hand sanitizer was present I would of been far more comfortable with more distance between another couple. Will be back when COVID is gone as food and staff are great.

Went here for brunch. Ordered the eggs benedict with bacon. It was delicious especially the fried potatoes. I HD total food envy as the table beside us had ordered the blueberry pancakes with bacon! They looked so good. The portions are very big so go hungry. And ask for a to go container if you don't finish those pancakes! Service was good, atmosphere was lovely and it was very busy. Will definitely go back. Ideal for a lazy Saturday breakfast/lunch. Or even for a bite before heading out for the night 😊🌃

Went for brunch on mothers day. Thought that on such an occasion there should have been a special treat, flowers, free coffee, or something. Brunch was nice...not fantastic. Hate the not being able to book policy...we were in the window seat, probably the nicest table, but we're overlooked at all times by the hungry mob of people queuing to be seated...which didn't make for a relaxed experience. Please change this policy and take bookings...or I definitely won't be back. Brunch was nice, but not amazing!

Very busy and we had to queue outside to get a table. A staff member did come out and ask us how many in our party and because it was just 2 we were seated straight away. The menu was small for brunch but the food was amazing! Portions were a good size and even though it was so busy the food service was prompt. Came here for breakfast and was seated promptly. Breakfast was lovely - cooked to perfection, plate was filled to satisfy even the strongest appetite. Coffee exceeded expectations and I appreciated that it was made Italian style rather than the frothy kind. Only comment I would have would be that the orange juice was made with oranges possibly on the under ripe side which made for a jolt to the taste buds that had to be fixed with the addition of some sugar - otherwise I would definitely recommend this spot for food and it's aesthetic; it's gorgeously decorated with a tree as the centre point.

It was my first visit at Dela last night for a private Christmas party. I love the way the place looks inside, it is charming and lovely with beautiful art on the walls. The tree is very original decoration. The house white wasn't too bad and the food was good. I really enjoyed the salmon mousse, it was perfectly seasoned and had a lovely consistency. For main I had the chargrilled aubergine with couscous and it was very well prepared as well. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the hospitality. I will not mention the incident with the prosecco in any detail although it happened to me. The night was great and we had fun so I will leave it at that.

Nice little restaurant, some interesting food and an adventurous selection of beer. I had an excellent starter with some interesting sauce combinations however my main course was a Steak and it was overcooked. Probably my fault for ordering a Steak in a trendy restaurant like this. The desert however (Cherry Crème Brulee) was to die for. I’d recommend this place if you’re interesting in a nice meal that’s something different, just don’t order the steak.

A highly popular restaurant, I visited only 10 minutes after they opened on a Sunday am, and it was already full. Popuar with families. Great breakfast food, local and organic ingredients. Service excellent, but can get busy so be prepared for a wait for tables on occasion. Needs bigger coffee cups.

Splendid brunch at Dela in Galway, a warm and inviting refuge from a rainy West Ireland day. Loved the Hollandaise especially on the Eggs Benedict, copious amounts of bacon (yum!) and the salmon on a peppery salad succulent and fresh. Surely among the best meals in Ireland during our visit.

The seafood platter and pre dinner cocktails were superbly prepared and tasted great, the mains less so. The halloumi vegetarian option was too much cheese, and probably had sat under a hot lamp too long, it reminded me more of a soft cheese dish like Welsh rarebit with none of the texture you expect of halloumi. My chicken and white pudding in prosciutto and beetroot was an interesting idea, but a little dry and over salted - plus one beetroot piece had some tinfoil left on it. Don't get me wrong, this is really good dining, and with a changing seasonal menu you'll always end up with some hits and misses
