Having not been a big fan of Indian food I am happy to say that this place has changed my mind. It's really nice inside with very friendly and helpfull waiters. The food both of us got was superb and also very good value for money. Mine in the photo was a lamb curry but it was baked in a dish with a flat bread topped case which you had to break through to get to the curry.

Such yummy food, brilliant for a takeaway, the korma is amazing, the naans are so yummy and the little sauces that come with them are amazing, if you get it for a group it makes for a great occasion over just another takeaway :) it really made our thanksgiving great!

Tasty food. Good selection of traditional 'Indian' dishes with all of the names you'd expect. The food gets 4 stars. But the staff get 3 stars. They really need to learn how to care for customers. They need to be less serious and more friendly. Overall, decent enough place to visit and for the food alone, you won't be disappointed.

Nice ambiance, average quality of food, reasonable price and Galway city centre location makes this an AVERAGE Asian/Indian restaurant. This is located just back of Galway museum/Spanish Arc. They serve Asian food mainly Indian and Bangladeshi food. Their food price is same as other Asian restaurants in Galway. Personally for me, the food quality is just average but ambiance is little better than others (If you like to have dinner in dim/less light). Once you order, there will be waiting period of 10-20 minutes which is fine. Staffs are OK.

Ate here last week. The food was very good but the staff was impolite and exceedingly slow (they seemed less present and less considerate as our meal progressed). The manager (possibly the owner?) was very friendly and welcoming, but his staff were the opposite. Again, the food was very good, but for the price and the experience we would not choose this restaurant again.

This is a great, well organised restaurant with a delicious food and friendly staff. Really well prepared and super tasty. This place was perfect for a late Saturday night dinner. My friends and I were out late in Galway and couldn't find a single good place to eat dinner, but luckily Eastern Tandoori was open until 11:30pm. Once inside, we found a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a friendly and efficient staff. And the best part had to be the food, which was exactly was I needed after traveling all day! Would recommend this place for any meal.

Hey its simply superb dining experience i am always getting there. Their food quality and amount of food is keeping my expense reasonable comparing with any others dining places in Galway. Eye catching ambience and their not well trained staff makes a difference chemistry which i found interesting and enjoyable! Also thanks to the Manager for securing our table on busy Saturday when its impossible to get table on that night. 10 out of 10 guys, keep it up and be our Galway's pride.

This place food was Excellent...was there last week when in Galway -exactly same day/time as now... and thought "wow....this food is really surprsingly great and made exactly to my taste / requirement". He / they made my lamb dish to my exact requirement which was extraordinary. My colleague had vegetarian and this was excellent too. I am of indian descent...so if I think it is good ....than I feel I am justified in saying so as this is my usual home/ "national" cuisine

This is the best Indian in Galway. As a Brit, used to birmingham and Bradford level quality curries, this place is a real treat. Not skimpy on the portions like several local places. Normally have the Tikka masala or a Madras. Can go really spicy at this place if you're into that!

Some of the food was fantastic (Korma and the naans) whereas other food was disappointing (Jalfrezi). The service was okay but I felt like one of the waiters was spying on us, looking over our shoulders and being nosy. Not very pleasant. He nearly left with my card after paying at the end.
