We had an amazing lunch at Fox’s of Kinvara! The food was incredible, the service was spectacular! This was our best meal in Ireland thus far! We had the parsnip soup and home made bread, cranberry/turkey/Brie sandwich, chocolate venison casserole, bacon Brie burger, and a fabulous hot mint tea! As well as the red velvet, carrot, and lemon meringue desserts! Don’t miss out on getting an amazing meal here!

Stopped here for dinner. Great menu, something to suit everyone. The food itself was gorgeous - great presentation and cooked very well. My cod was cooked perfectly and the chorizo mash was an exciting new try for me. The fish tacos were also a great way to bring fish into the menu. The portions were massive and the pizza menu was extensive and lovely thin crust bases. Friendly staff and great service - a must visit in Kinvara. Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The tea infusion with lemon and mint was the nicest herbal tea I've ever had - it was so fresh and there was a lot in the pot. We got an assortment of desserts across the table and everybody had high praise. The owner is so nice and accommodating, she moved tables around to ensure she could accommodate us. We were previously there for dinner and it was definitely worth the second visit. Would highly recommend - can't go to Kinvara without visiting!

Great food but I was most impressed with the lovely staff. They were not only lovely to my partner and I but to anyone who passed. There was an old man who sitting across from the restaurant , we weren't sure if he was homeless so we asked because we wanted to buy him food, the staff told us he lived near by but likes to people watch and that they look after him and give him food throughout the day everyday. I even witnessed the manager/owner run out calling after him to give him to give him some food. I think even he was surprised! 😄 Unfortunately it's not something you see too often but Foxes set a different standard. Such an amazing gesture from one human to another. Very genuine, chatty, welcoming, homely and full of empathy and care. They clearly care not only for their customers but people in general. It filled my heart and I will definitely return. Highly recommend! 🙂

We had takeaway and ate down by the dock, but the food was delicious. Really recommend the fish tacos. They had a great range of Fox-themed craft beers. In terms of covid precautions, staff all wearing masks and a one way system in place but seemed a bit crowded indoors. Outdoor seating would be great though, or takeaway.

We had a few lovely meals in Fox's. It is excellent place to eat in. Lovely food and staff and Orla the manager is a lovely kind caring person. She was looking after Donal, an elder of the town . the staff are lovely. We loved it too that dogs are allowed to be with their owners . We had a lovely time and everything was great. 10/10 Loved it. Just so lovely to see people enjoying the sunshine in such a lovely place. It is a gem of a place. We were sad leaving. We will be back again. Lovely place, food, service and a real community spirit.

We got pizza as our only dish and I must say that it was gorgeous freshly cooked thin base pizza and it was also massive it took me alot to finish the entire thing and for only 15 Euro for the pizza you can't go far wrong, the only negative that I found with the place was we ordered the Guinness mouse and it was presented beautiful and was a really good novelty except it did not taste good at all, in hindsight I would not expect much of a Guinness flavoured anything to be honest, overall a really good experience and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Just to say how great it was to be back in kinvarra and I made straight for Foxes and a magnificent greeting from Orla and her team. Loved the lunch, and bought Orla's new book, that's full of great recipes and photos. You simply must go and try this venue. ☘️

Dropped in for a coffee on the way back to Dobbin from Doolin. Couldn't resist a scone when I saw it, was unreal. Coffee was good but the scone and other baked goods looked unreal too. Would defo be in again if in that neck of the woods!

A group of us touring gardens in the area started our day with breakfast at Foxs and it was a perfect way to begin our day in the Burren..great food in a lovely restaurant , which was formerly a pub..the owner Orla a proud Mayo woman is a delightful hostess and a great character..we liked it so much we returned in the afternoon for dinner and Orla joined us for a cuppa afterwards..and why not..dinner was excellent, i had minestrone soup with fresh brown bread and a salmon dinner afterwards..a perfect day in the Irish countryside in great company..
