D. C.I recently went to Freddy's wanting to check out their new renovations. Having already tried their new day time sandwiches, I had high expectations. and it did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic , the food ,the staff and the wine were all top class. The spicy njuda pizza was a real home run. Everyone I was with had a great time and we all agreed we would be back again. Looking forward to working my way through the menu.
J.UNREAL!! Had lunch here over Christmas and ended up coming back two more times. They've done a massive job on the decor and the food is top notch. Highly recommend, best Italian in Galway. Will definately be back when I come back to visit.
S.We dined at freddy's last Saturday evening. What a delight! We arrived to a full restaurant and a lovely energy! Service was excellent and food was delicious! We were a table of 6 and there was a mix of pastas and pizzas and everyone was delighted with their choice! The house wine is also lovely. Can't wait to go back! We'll done to all involved.

S. R.I had heard that this was a great place to eat so my hopes were high, possibly unreasonably high. The food was grand , I enjoyed it, a tad on the salty side but not off putting. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were pleasant but could've been more attentive. Vegan friendly options is a plus. Overall it was OK but I'm not rushing back.

The menu is outrageously tasty. My top recommendations for dinner and lunch:
-House red wine is a must (Get the bottle)
-Meatball starter! The sauce is delish
-Fries with the 3 dips is a must
-Carbonara pasta
-Honey pepperoni pizza is my 2nd fav pizza
-No1 pizza has to be the nduja sausage/blue cheese pizza. The best pizza pie I've ever tried!
We visited for lunch once when walking past to grab a quick coffee and got the chicken pesto sambo for and perched by the window to watch the footfall go past on Quay street. Such a location in the heart of the city for people watching.
Fantastic work to the Freddie crew!

Menu is simple, but the food is super tasty. I had the vegan wrap & sweet potato fries ( although I'm not vegan) but I can never pass on hummus and olives when in the menu. It was satisfyingly filling and honestly for a meat eater, wouldn't miss that at all. My husband & son ordered a pepperoni pizza each with triple fried fries. There was no room for dessert's, but if they taste half as good as they looked, they'd be yum. Definitely will be back, maybe next time I'll order just desserts 😊
C. M.This restaurant is located within Galway's City Centre alongside other various Restaurants. With American/Italian style food, it has something for everyone. The place itself is quite small but this adds to the charm. It was very atmospheric! The food is quite well priced and was very tasty too. At the time, the staff were busy so our table became a little forgotten but staff were very apologetic. I'd highly recommend a visit here nonetheless.
a. w.My Girlfriend and I fell in love with this wee place. It's one of a few restaurants on the main street of Galway city and its by far the best for grub and service. The waiter we had was so sweet and kind and constantly made sure we were happy and the food was so so delicious. I cannot recommend this wee place enough. It's brilliant.
D.Great spot for a bite to eat. Stopped here late evening after a day sightseeing midweek. Place was very busy, but managed to get a seat right away. Various items ordered between us all from chicken caesar salad, chicken wings and chips with salad to a custom made pizza. All good arrived without delay. Staff were very courteous and the place was very clean and well presented. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Galway and looking for somewhere to eat. First time visiting here and I honestly couldn't fault a single thing.

Cool cartoons of Fat Freddy and his cat are scattered around the place, along with old style advertisements and wine bottles with candles melting down everyone of them. Best Garlic Bread in town. Pizzas are also fantastic, would recommend.
