P. D.Went for a meal with my wife here this evening and genuinely cannot fault the place. Pizza was fantastic, huge pizza and loads of toppings, struggled to finish. Wife got a pasta dish and said it was beautiful. Staff (especially our waiter Tom) also couldn't be nicer, regularly checking that everything was okay and a pleasant conversation too while we were finishing up our drinks. Great addition to Eyre Square and will definitely be returning!

We had 3 courses, bruschetta, calamari, two pizzas and a tiramisu. Phenomenal. Highly recommend. It has such a European vibe!!
G. S.The best Italian restaurant in Ireland! An amazing place to eat when you’re in Galway. The penne arrabbiata and the ricotta and spinach ravioli are great option for vegetarians. Great and fast service as well.

b. f.My wife, toddler and I stopped in here for a quick bite before our car journey home. Pizza was decently sized and price matched that, carbonara dish was ok and quite expensive for what you received but the Guinness pint was a nice surprise!. Overall would happily recommend this to others 👍
J. H.Service was great, really prompt, the decor is lovely, I feel like it would be a lovely place to go for dinner with friends at the weekend! But what really impressed me was the pizza - it's so good! I'm really fussy about pizza and I couldn't fault mine at all, it was fresh, the base was lovely and perfectly cooked, the mozzarella was lovely and it was saucy as well. Delighted I decided to pop in!
J. C.Fabulous restaurant. Food is amazing. Its not too expensive and the portions are perfect size. I got the the prawns for a starter and they were amazing, the sauce they are in was beautiful, you could tell they were fresh casue they didn't have that rubbery chewy texture, they broke up so nicely and tasted amazing. Then I had the pasta carbonara and that was brilliant only had a small bit left in my bowl afterwards I was just so full. My girlfriend had the pasta bolognase and she loved it also, she was the same as me and only had a small bit left as we were both so full. Overall food is amazing have nothing bad to say about it. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was also very clean which I liked. Overall review is that this is an amazing restaurant and will 100% recommend. They will definitely be seeing me again.

J. H.A really nice spot! It has been recently renovated, and they did a great job. I had an amazing pasta dish, and we stayed on for some drinks and cocktails after, all were top notch. If you are looking for some Italian food, I would highly recommend Gatto Rosso!

M. P. G.Absolute top place. Excellent food, amazing waiters and great location. I had tagliatelle di Mare which was extremely tasty and with a lot of prawns! And Tom was probably the best waiter I've had in a long time, he really made the entire experience unforgettable, brilliant and very attentive. Will definitely repeat! Manu and another ginger man with long hair were also absolutely lovely and made our experience very enoyable. Great atmosphere too by the way. Thanks very much!

A. L.Trying to get a table for 5 , in outdoor dinning times is very difficult in Galway.
But the staff at the Gatto Rosso, went all out and pulled tables and chairs from everywhere to accommodate us.
Food is very nice and the staff are attentive to your needs!
