Stopped by for brunch for two on a quiet morning. Shoutout to the main waitress on the morning of 28 Dec who was remarkably pleasant. Coffees and food were rapid, no undue delays. Food was rather decent and moreover not overpriced. A good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to head back.

Had a lovely breakfast with my fiancee. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of breakfast. Vegan friendly as well. Keep in mind that the lunch selection starts at 12pm Mon - Fri. Currently offer outdoor dining. They also provide blankets for chilly days! Great experience and lovely food. Would highly recommend.

Good place and food. All clean, good music, service and mainly food. Fish and chips tasteful…fish was very fresh well cooked and juicy. It has less salt but the tartar souce complemented very well. The chips were too soft, not crispy. The carrot cake was very good!

They do the best vegan Irish breakfast in Ireland. The sausage, beans and potato cake were my fav! Wish they’d add more vegan options! Their coffee is also very nice with non dairy milk and the staff were very lovely:)

Wonderful family Breakfast over the Bank Holiday weekend. Food was terrific with added touches which sets them aside from a 'regular fry'. Although it was busy, staff worked really well to make their customers stay relaxing & enjoyable. BEST Breakfast for quite sometime, definitely worth checking out. We will be back to sample their many other delicious dishes.....💯

Full marks to Ronan for running an excellent show today. We popped in without a booking for a table of 6 adults and 2 children. He advised us that he could provide us with a table 45 minutes later which we gratefully accepted. As my Dad was only recently discharged from hospital, I enquired 20 mins before our booking if he could provide my Dad with a chair to rest as the weather was so bad and he happily accommodated us. Adherence to COVID standards was excellent with both ID and COVID passes being checked. There was plenty of sanitiser and tables were well spaced. Food was super, service was prompt, our 2 servers were excellent. Ronan could really teach the Santry Front of House team how to excel at customer service. Well done Gourmet Food Parlour Galway on providing an excellent dining experience under very difficult circumstances for the hospitality industry. 👏👏

I used to live beside the first GFP in Dublin and it was one of our favourite places to eat. It was small and sweet and the food was fantastic. I think as it's gotten bigger the atmosphere has diluted ever so slightly but still a good place to eat in salthill. Good staff and food and nice decor.

Really delicious food. And as a vegan, I was truly impressed by the menu's content and flexibility for vegans. I ordered the curry, which was mouth-wateringly good. My only comment is that, despite all this willingness to accomodate and the number of options, the curry still suffered from the usual achille's heal of a vegan main created by a non-vegan: no protein. It would be easy to add chickpeas, lentils or peas to this curry.

My experiences of coming here for food in this place is that it's delicious and some of the staff working here are very helpful and friendly towards their customers but the language barrier can be a problem as not all of the staff working here have English as their first language so it can be hard and difficult sometimes to hear what staff and customers are saying to each other when enquiring about stuff such as what time is the breakfast menu is served until on Sundays but other than that everything is fine

Myself and my friend arent fully vaccinated yet so it was quite hard to find a outdoor seat in salthill but luckily we found the gourmet food parlour.We got greeted at the marquee by a lovely girl that sat us down at a table in the marquee.She then gave us both a menu and then came back to us after a few moments to take our order.The chicken goujouns and chips on the kids menu is highly recommended.Id reccomend this place to anybody and will vist again

The first time we ordered from here, we both ordered chicken and charizo linguine, it was beautiful. Today we ordered for the 2nd time, I had the same dish, my Husband had the Hereford Burger with chips and my 2 children had sausage and chips. The chips were not fresh they had been reheated and were cold by the time they had arrived, the burger was over cooked and dry, the raddish was too sweet and my dish was full of grease, very big let down compared to our first experience

Came here for brunch with the family and we really enjoyed it. Very tasty meals from the brunch menu all round. Very busy at the time we arrived, we had to wait to be seated but the staff handled this well. The coffee we had was also tasty. The service is good and the staff are generally friendly. The decor is nice and it's a comfortable place to be for coffee or a meal.

It was excellent, they had printed menus with the brides name & were very accommodating with all my queries before and on the day were happy to lay out goodie bags on the table for when we arrived. Dinner menu is a bit ecclectic - chicken, burgers, fish, Thai curry and tapas....an odd mix of choice. I had calamari, the rest had burgers but overall we were disappointed. Lot of chips and salads to fill out the plates and the food was not great quality. Calamari was a bit greasy and stringy, and burgers nice but not amazing for €16. Overall food was more like average pub grub but with restaurant pricing. V disappointed as it has such promise but I won't be returning for dinner in a hurry.

Was in Gourmet Food Parlour today for breakfast. Could not believe that having ordered full breakfast for two that we had to pay an additional €5 for two pots of tea (a cup and one third of a cup in each pot). Overall cost for two breakfasts €28 - very expensive. The food was very nice and the surroundings very pleasant. However Staff were not over friendly. Therefore deserves overall rating of 3 stars.

I had a walnut and banana bread french toast with mixed berries (blueberries and strawberries), my partner had a woodland breakfast (scrambled eggs, fried mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with some sort of toast). Portions were generous. I thought mine was lovely, nice balance between the nuts and Banana bread and egg without feeling heavy or stodgy. Partner felt the eggs were underseasoned but she enjoyed the meal otherwise. Service seemed on the ball, we weren't left waiting for anything and there was a steady stream of people to deal with so they were busy. Would definitely go back.

Family dinner. Friendly greeting from host. We were seated and given the menus. We were left for some time before our server came back for our order but the sad part was that when he took our order he told us that they were out of the menu item 4 of our guests had chosen. I know this can happen but upon seating , prior to choices being made was the time to say " Sorry but we are all sold out of...." My choice was the pasta, which was way too dry and tasteless. I haven't tried breakfast but its meant to be good. Maybe next time.

Our family loved our experience today in GFP. We fell upon it, but what a treasure. I loved the decor, from the colour on the walls to the beautiful lanterns, scented candles in the bathroom, cozy and a treat to the senses. As for the food, it was fresh, great quality, portion sizes were great for adults and kids, delicious, I'd recommend the 3 bean curry!! We're looked after by a galway guy, chatty, helpful and he added to the relaxed atmosphere, even tho the place was full. I'd highly rate this place and I look for to our return.

Went for the early bird evening menu. Great food and staff. They had good non alcoholic options like a mocktail my girlfriend enjoyed. Will be back again. Significant portions too.
