T. L.I don't give many five star reviews, but this place easily deserves one for one reason only: the food is absolutely amazing! Just simply delicious. If you're hungry and want some really outstanding Italian food, don't hesitate to give this place a try. I recommend the Penne Della Casa.
T. V.Lovely restaurant in a beautiful place. Even it is near the centre, we could quietly enjoy our lunch outside. I had a seafood pasta with a little spicy sauce, loved the sauce, but shrimps were not the best. We were helped very great and the staff was really helpful!

Also, the restaurant was very clean. The food came out steaming hot and they gave you very generous portions. It was also a quieter restaurant which allowed for pleasant conversation despite being nearly full. The service was quick. I would definitely eat here again!
E. P.If you're looking for a place to try a flavourful Italian food, your search can finishes here. I ordered a beef lasagne and I could choose between a salad or fries. How I was sort of hungry, I asked French fries.
The lasagne was very well prepared, the size of the portion was quite big, but the star of the dish was the pomodoro sauce. It tastes like an authentic homemade tomato sauce cooked with low-heat for long hours... And the fries were crunch and tasty.
Also the waiter was courteous and pleasant with all of us. The only observation was related with the price, because outside was different than the menu.

It can be busy and you’ll be waiting for at least 20 minutes if you do not have any reservation but as I said fantastic staff they will do their best to squeeze you in and it is worth the wait. Qpark and parkrite will be the closest parking space. No street parking close to the restaurant.

R. P.I was with a few people who all really enjoyed their food but my dinner was very underwhelming. I very rarely ask for salt out in a restaurant and, even after seasoning, my seafood pasta was bland. Others loved their dishes so maybe I chose wrong.
The staff were lovely and did alot to accommodate us but unfortunately our meal was interrupted by a very loud, very drunk party at the table next to ours. That's not the restaurant's fault of course but the party seemed to know the staff and the shouting and cursing was not discouraged as far as we could see.
t. 5.Was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant providing a Collection or takeaway service during this social distancing rule... I love authentic Italian food & that is exactly what I got !! The pizza was delicious, juicy sweet but not too sweet tomato sauce. Delicious base too. Cheese is so tasty. Staff are very friendly. I look forward to dining at Venice Italian Restaurant very soon.

M. C.Three stars is a bit hefty for this restaurant, but my experience wasn't very positive.
I bought a meal for delivery and was expecting it to be Venice's usual quality. What I got was horrendous.
The spaghetti had a very obvious clump of hair in it, and was quite bland to the usually very tasty meals.
The garlic bread did not come with a dip as promised and was also bland.
It may be busier than usual, but it is extremely disappointing that the quality has to suffer because of that.
I don't think I will be returning anytime soon unfortunately.

M. I.Getting Italian food in Ireland is a questionable life decision. This was a continuation of the decision. We wanted something a bit fancier than a pub and this looked good. We didn't have a reservation, but the hostess graciously found us a seat after we stood by the door for a few minutes. The food was good. I couldn't finish my dish because I strongly suspect that the portion size is for two people, not one. But it was yummy and very filling. After a while we were presented with the desert menu. We ordered and waited a while- that's fair maybe the kitchen was busy processing dirty dishes. The desert consumed, we asked for the check. And the wait vegan in earnest. The lovely lady who had until now been with our table passed by a few times, check less. We asked another for the check. A few minutes later a third brought it out. It sat with a card on our table about ten minutes while various individuals filed past until I brought it up to the counter. I'm not sure if this is what I was supposed to do to begin with, but the dinner experience lasted about 35 minutes longer than i think it aught to have.
So, food is filling, people are friendly, reservation was unnecessary, speed was slow.

L. S.I find it a bit overpriced for the food served. The pastas are very heavy and filling, not delicate at all. They don't taste very fresh. For me it tastes like those tesco-bought refrigerated pastas. I've tried Venice 3 times to see if I was judging it fairly, but I still find Tesco pastas just as good for 3 times cheaper. Of course it's not horrible, because you can't go wrong with pasta, but for the price charged, they could definitely do better. I'd recommend trying a different restaurant if you enjoy fresh made Italian food.

T. K.10 Aug 19 ca 8pm. Wonderful. Good feel about the ambience. Lots of people but we only had to wait 5 mins for a table for 2. Very nice friendly waiting staff, swift service. What you wld expect of an Italian menu. Our tagliatelle diavolo was really tasty and my panecota came with summer fruits compote as a wonderful garnish. Good value for money. We recommend.

It was not your standard run of the mill bruschetta. The mains did not disappoint. Rissoto and chicken . The chicken had chorizo on top, a bit to much for my liking. Good staff fast service. Quality food. Bread sticks on arrival. Would have been nicer if they were not in the plastic wrappers.

The Caesar salad was ok-sized with real bacon on top and came with tasty garlic pita bread. My only complaint is the pinot tasted watered down...drank it anyway :)

M. M.I dined here last Sunday after a lovely day spent walking around Galway city. I ordered the POLLO ALLA CACCIATORA and loved what I got! The chicken was cooked well and the sauce was just right, not too spicy but a little bit of a kick to it! It came with roast potatoes which were nicely done. I didn't have a starter or dessert and had a soft drink rather then wine. The restaurant itself is nice and bright as well as spacious and clean. I believe they used to have a much smaller premises up until moving into this one. The restaurant is easy to find on one of the side streets off Shop street.

I had the Prosciutto and Rucola Pizza which was excellent and my six year old daughter had the Pasta Pomodoro which was so tasty that she polished off the entire bowl. R. S.My daughter and I found ourselves in Gallway on New Year's Eve. We asked the man at our Air BnB for a tasty Italian restauarant. He sent us to Venice. It was authentic with lots of ambiance. The food was good and the prices more than fair. We are from a part of Denver (CO/USA) that is called "Little Italy", so we know our Italian. This place was great-very quaint yet very family at the same time!
H. S.Usualy big Advertising in Tourist Magazines means Tourist Trap... So it was a bit what we expected to be honest. But we where in the mood for Italian food, so we had taken the 'risk'...
And it was a verry good descission!!! That we came back the second night in town, says anything. Great food, attentive Service. The Girl that welcomming us, made a verry great Job in this super busy Restaurant. Also it was a pleasure to watch the guy behind the Buffet, he had always the oversight about anything! Super well organised Crew, big compliment for that. And the Food is excellent, Dessert the perfect Finale. And thank you that you made it possible for the Amaretto with whipped Cream, that made my day.
